Error : Validity of certificate (...) PSE SSL ends in 1 day

Dear all,
I have a certificate problem with my WAS system.
<u>"Validity of certificate from list with PSE type >SSL Client (Standard)< ends in 1 day, for more information, see the SAP System Log (transaction SM21)"
</u>
==> I have a BSP website https://services.aquasambre.be/service which is using a certificate valid until June 14th 2006.
==> I go through transaction SM21, but there is no further information.
==> I go through transaction <b>STRUST</b>,
<b>> PSE System </b>
--> Red cross for "SNC (SAOCryptolib)
<b>> SSL Server</b>
--> Green (ok) but fields "begin/end of validity" are empty
<b>> SSL Client anonymous</b>
--> Green (ok) but fields "begin/end of validity" are empty
<b>> SSL Client standard</b>
--> Green (ok) but fields "begin/end of validity" are empty
==> I go through the amazing SAP documentation... "I'm a bit lost"
... Maybe have you already encountered this kind of problem... do you have an advice for me ?
Nico
PS : My problem occurs after installation of support packages.
PPS : Why are they all on holiday ??? ;o)

I have found where the cerficate fails :
using program SSF_ALERT_CERTEXPIRE -->
Client SSL (standard)                                   SSLC DFAULT
  Certificat personnel
  CN=Client, OU=I0020211069, OU=SAP Web AS, O=SAP Trust Community, C=BE             01.01.2038
  Liste des certificats (Lste Certif.)
   1  = CN=extn12.nrb.be, OU=I0020211069, OU=SAP Web AS, O=SAP Trust Community, C=D 01.01.2038
<u>   2  = EMAIL=[email protected], CN=vdeler, OU=nrb logiciels, O=nrb logiciels, L=hers <b>18.08.2005</b></u>
<i>I can have the same information using STRUST. </i>
So if I go through OSS note 499386, the solution seems to be "generate a new PSE (with the same name) and resend a certificate request to SAP"
--> Could someone tell me how I can send a request to SAP to renew the concerned certificate ?

  • Order Import - Validation failed for the field - End Customer Location

    I am trying to import an order using standard import program and it is failing with below error:
    - Validation failed for the field - End Customer Location
    I have checked metalink to debug this and found nothing, the values i have used to populate the interface table or valid.
    Can someone please post your views on this, on where the problem might be.
    Thanks!

    Hello,
    Try the following
    1) Check if any processing constraints are applied to customer/location
    2) Try to create a new customer and associate internal location.
    Create a new order to reproduce the issue

  • SSL ERROR : The required certificate was not found

    I am using Adobe Javascript this.submitForm to submit FDF. This works fine in Windows. When the same pdf is opened in a Linux environment I get the following error:
    SSL ERROR : The required certificate was not found
    and am required to run acroread -installCertificate.
    This I do and it succeeds but the SSL error persists.
    The this.submitForm command is given below:
    /this.submitForm({cURL: 'https://some-webpath/FILE.cgi#FDF',bFDF: true,bGet: false});
    When reading the documentation for the submitForm I see that the Acrobat Web Capture plug-in should be installed: I notice this is the case in Windows but not in Linux. Where can I get this?

    Hi Ben,
    The behavior you have noticed with the newly installed certificate files in
    [home-folder]/.adobe/Acrobat/[version]/Cert folder
    and the
    [install-folder]/Adobe/Reader8/Reader/Cert/curl-ca-bundle.crt file is correct. Further, the behavior has not changed between Reader versions 8.x and 9.x
    It is possible that the problem may be of the installed certificate not linking up to one of the Root CA-s. An Intermedia-CA certificate may be needed to be installed.
    Could you mail me at " sanath at adobe dot com ", if possible, with more information about the problem (the PDF, the certificate in question - the file named like 123456.0 ), so that we at Adobe can work on resolving your problem
    Regards
    Sandip

    I have a problem, i can't generate with DPS App Builder "App distribuzione.zip" to be sent to Apple to publish APP, this is the error message: is not a valid distribution certificate Apple. What do I do?

    As Bern510 says, you'll need to recreate certificates that are valid. I suggest following our step-by-step publishing guide, which walks through how to obtain certificates correctly.

  • Validity of System PSE ends in 2 days - How to stop these warnings?

    Hi
    We are getting following warning in our R/3 System-4.7 (Web AS 620 on Windows with Oracle - Kernel 640)
    SAPSYS - Validate of Certificate from list with PSE type > System PSE > ends in
                     2 days, for more information, see the SAP System log (transaction
                     SM21)
    I am aware that our Portal logon ticket (SSO) certificate is expiring in 2 days. In order to stop these warnings,  I deleted the Portal PSE certificates in the R/3 System, but these warnings still appearing when we log in to R/3 system.
    I am in the process creating new certificate in Portal and import the same to R/3. But, in the meanwhile how do I stop these warnings in the R/3 System? It looks like it cached some where.
    Your directions/help in this regard would be highly appreciated.
    Regards
    Chandu

    Resolved by myself by deleting the old certificate and also deleting the messages in SM02. It's surprising to see that messages created by the system in SM02.

  • Import a valid Server Certificate as a trustStore.?

    How do I import a valid server certificate as a trustStore and put
    this in jre/lib/security.
    I have a Java class that needs to connect to a valid HTTPS Server
    having a certificate issued by a CA.
    Now,I have a Java client that connects to this server,and sends and
    receives data.
    I will need to import the server certificate into the jre/lib/security
    directory?
    I guess we need to do this so that the client accepts the server's
    certificate
    Has anyone understood my question?
    Attached is my java class:
    public class HttpsSender
    String sURL = "SomeServerAddress";
    public static String ec(String sMess)
    String response=null;
    try {
    Security.addProvider(new com.sun.net.ssl.internal.ssl.Provider());
    System.setProperty("java.protocol.handler.pkgs","com.sun.net.ssl.internal.www.protocol");
    /* Temporarily testing on Tomcat and hence the Context:A_SYMBIAN_SERVLET */
    URL url;
    String uri = "https://" + sURL
    url = new URL(uri);
    HttpsURLConnection hpCon= (HttpsURLConnection)url.openConnection();
    hpCon.setRequestMethod("POST");
    hpCon.setDoOutput(true);
    hpCon.setDoInput(true);
    /** Transfer Data over https */
    DataOutputStream dos = new DataOutputStream(hpCon.getOutputStream());
    dos.writeUTF(sMess);
    /* Response from the Receiving Servlet.*/
    DataInputStream dis = new DataInputStream(hpCon.getInputStream());
    try {
    response = dis.readUTF();
    }finally
    dos.close();
    dis.close();
    }catch(IOException e)
    System.out.println("Error in Client " + e);
    return response;
    } // End of Method Encrypt.

    You can import a valid server certificate into a Store with the keytool!
    Good link:
    http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jsp?forum=2&thread=4240
    You must provide to the Java-VM where it can find the TrustStore:
    -> on command line:
    java -Djavax.net.ssl.trustStore=XXX/jssesamples/samplecacerts
    For Testing the Debug Output can be usefull! Enable with:
    java -Djavax.net.debug=handshake,ssl
    -> in source code:
    System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStore",STORE_FILE);
    System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStorePassword",STORE_PASS);

  • The enrollment server did not provision a valid identity certificate

    I'm working on rolling my own MDM service, and I'm trying to combine the SCEP and MDM payloads as the MDM protocol document from Apple suggests. I created my own SCEP web service in C# .Net and I know that the device can get a valid certificate when I just send the SCEP payload. However when I also include an MDM payload that points to the SCEP payload's UUID via the IdentityCertificateUUID key, I get the following error, "The enrollment server did not provision a valid identity certificate." This configuration is the one that is sent after the user chooses to install the initial enrollment configuration (step 1 of phase 2 in this diagram).
    The device doesn't appear to even make an attempt at connecting to my server, and thanks to server side logging I know that it never reaches my SCEP web service page. This seems to indicate that there's something wrong with the certificate I use to sign the payload. I've separately tried signing it with my SSL certificate (from a pre trusted root authority), my customer MDM push certificate (chained from our vendor cert), and my self-signed root certificate authority certificate (created via makecert.exe) that the SCEP service uses to issue new certificates (i.e. device identity certificates).
    I've looked at the output from the iPCU (iPhone Configuration Utility) when I create a profile with both the MDM and SCEP payloads, and it isn't a valid profile (I've even tried copying it nearly wholesale). However when I install the profile via the iPCU the error doesn't come up and it begins the SCEP enrollment process without issue.
    A side note - using a preexisting MDM vendor is not an option here.
    Below is the profile I'm using:

    I got in touch with Apple about this.
    Apparently you want to send the combined MDM & SCEP payload in step 2 of phase 3 of the diagram I linked in my question, which is the profile that's sent after OTA enrollment.  According to Apple you need two separate certificates (which means two SCEP enrollments) - one for OTA enrollment, and one for MDM enrollment.

  • Windows built-in IKEv2 clients are not finding a valid machine certificate

    Hi All,
    I'm trying to connect windows built-in clients to a Cisco IOS IKEv2 headend. I want to use EAP to authenticate the clients with there AD credentials. For EAP, I need to use certificates so I will use self-signed certificates as I don't have a CA.
    Once I have ceated a certificate for the headend, i import this on the clients Trusted Root Certification Authorities. But when I try to connect the client to the headend, I get an error message from the client "Error 13806: IKE failed to find valid machine certificate". It seems that Microsoft is having issue with the certificate.
    Does anyone have an idea what I'm doing wrong?

    Please tell me where my Mail is getting Elementary School-isized. anyone?
    Mail's Preferences do not affect what is seen at the other end, they are only for local display. To have the recipient see your desired font, you must set it individually for each message in the New Message pane (also you should make it different than what is set in the Preferences, because of a bug). Or you can use custom Stationery.
    A workaround used by some is to create a signature in your desired font and begin your message in the first line of the sig.
    If these options are not satisfactory, best to switch to Entourage or Thunderbird.

  • OCSP Validation in Certificate-Based Authentication

    Hi,
    Has anybody done OCSP Validation in Certificate-Based Authentication ? If yes - then please describe how can we configure an OCSP responder for Certificate Validation?
    Regards,
    YK

    Hi,
    Thanx for all of ur replies :)
    I am now able to do lot of stuff using Identity Server :)
    My main target is to use Identity Server for certificate-based authentication by enabling OCSP validation.
    First I configured Web server to enable SSL and client authentication. Then I configured Identity Server and enabled the Certificate based authentication. I edited the certificate authentication properties and enabled the OCSP validation check. I provided the OCSP responder address and corresponding CA name in AMConfig.properties.
    Now I am testing this setup up as follows.
    1- I try to access the default index page by following URL
    https://identity-1.identity.com:58090/
    2- It asks for client certificate to choose from available certificates
    3- I select a certificate (issuer of this cert is configured for OCSP validation) and proceed
    4- Identity Server make an OCSP request and send it to my OCSP responder
    5- OCSP responder response with revocation status 'good'
    6- Now I get the server certificate on browser
    7- I press OK and I see the index page of Identity Server
    I think it is working fine now :)
    now if in step 3, I select a wrong certificate i.e. issuer of this certificate is not configured for OCSP validation then It shows the DNS Error Page. Why dont it show the proper authentication failed page of Identity Server? If I see the error log for the web server I see the following error:
    [03/Jun/2003:11:18:10] failure ( 1692): Error receiving connection (unable to map error number -8062)
    What does it mean ? Any ideas ?

    I noticed that the content within the CERT is different. Not sure if that is relevant.

    I am not sure what the "store.connect()" does, based on the exceptions seems to be trying to make non-https connection which based on the documentation is not supported:
    Unsupported Features
    Alternative
    Remote invocations with a transport protocol other than HTTPS (including plain text HTTP).
    Not applicable.

    When I try to download the latest version of iTunes from apple.com, I get the message "Content was blocked because it was not signed by a valid security certificate."When I open iTunes and try to download the latest version there, I get the message "iTunes has an invalid signature.  The download has been removed."  I have also gotten an Internet Script Error stating that an error has occured in Line 0, Char O and that "Access is denied to images.apple.com/global/scripts/lib/iepngfix.htc."  This problem has never occurred with earlier versions of ITunes.  Anyone know how to fix this problem?

    Are you downloading iTunes form an Apple website or somewhere else? If the answer is somewhere else, try downloading it from Apple. Click on iTunes in the black menu bar above and go from there.

  • A fatal error occurred while creating an SSL client credential. The internal error state is 10011.

    Need help.  I have my pilot lync 2013 pool up (in coexistence with 2010 production environment) and can log into Lync 2013 environment with a lync 2010 client but am not able to with a lync 2013 client.  It just prompts for password but will not
    take it. I'm sseeing this on my front end server multiple times:
    A fatal error occurred while creating an SSL client credential. The internal error state is 10011.
    Came across this http://www.logicspot.net/index.php?id=50 and tried disabling TLS 1.2, which I did and verified but yet the issue still exists.
    All my certs are good coming from internal CA.  My signin logs show below but keep in mind, this works just fine if using a 2010 lync client to my lync 2013 servers.  Issue only occurs when trying to connect using a lync 2013 client.

    Rich

    Hi,
    Please check the server role and Web Services for Internet Information Services (IIS) are set correctly.
    For the detailed IIS configuration, please check:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg412871.aspx
    As Lync client 2013 attempt to query in order to perform autodiscover of the Lync registration server. First
    lyncdiscoverinternal.<sipdomain> Host (A) record and then
    lyncdiscover.<sipdomain> Host (A) record. If neither of these records are resolvable then the legacy DNS SRV and A record fall-back process is used. So make sure you have add the two A record in DNS server.
