Error Web Service
Hi All
I am getting following error in Http to Webservice Interface
com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: java.io.IOException: No SOAP Envelope but 1 definitions; HTTP 200
I have checked the Mapping in the test tab and it is working fine, Cache is updated and I have reactivated all the design and configuration objects.
Regards
Abhishek Mahajan
Hi,
In ID, in your receiver SOAP comm channel, do not select the option of Encoded Headers, Query string and SOAP envelope.

Error "web service destination is not configured" in CTS+
Hi experts,
during deployment with CTS+ I get the error "web service destination is not configured" (see below). In fact there is a web service to be deployed and a WebDynpro-DC using this web service as adaptive web service model. The model uses the destination DACC_PI_WS_METADATA_DEST and DACC_PI_WS_EXECUTION_DEST. I configured both destinations in the server with type "WSDL".
Any idea what goes wrong?
Regards,
Christoph

Error: Web service object exists
Hi all!
I am very new with SAP Web Services so, to learn, I created a very simple function, enabled it for RFC, and activated and successfully tested it.
After that, I tried to create a Service, starting the Wizard (Utilities > More utilities > Create web service > From the Function Module).
I followed all steps, setting 'Endpoint type' to 'Function Module'; enabling 'Mapping names'. All remaining values are default values.
Service name was set to 'Z_ESTRAZ_MATERIALI_n' (in the first trial n=1).
After completion of the wizard, in the status bar appears a red-icon message that indicates that the service already exist (but I am sure that no service exists with that name).
- The problem is highly reproducible (with new names).
- In the transaction WSADMIN I cannot see any service listed.
- SAP version: SAP ECC 6.0.
What can I check to solve the problem?
Many thanks.Hi all!
After some trial-and-error it seems to me that the problem is solved when logging in English instead of Italian language. Doing this way, everything is ok.
Bye. -
Error Web Services RFC proxy - Application Server
Hi,
I configured the Web services consumer. The architecture requires passage through a proxy. Now when I check the RFC of WS from Central istance the test is ok. While, when I check the same RFC from the application server, this asked by the user and password, resulting in authentication failure.
How do I solve my prolem?
Best regards,
Diego.Hi Nagaraju
The checks are all ok. Then I contacted the network administrator, this was not the vision for SAP in the proxy.
The problem has been resolved.
Thanks for your cooperation.
Best regards,
Diego Garofalo. -
I have a problem, when I send a xml request and the response is very slow, or time out. Ii have to resend the request, but i would like to know if the first petition will be attend. Actualy the problem is that when i notice my request isn´t be attend, i resend the request. sometimes is ok but sometimes the transacction is duplicate. There is a way to know if my request is been process????.

Hello Guru's,
we are creating sales order in SAP from a quote created in .NET, through Web Service created in SAP, and consumed in .NET.
When ever a order is created in SAP for a given quote, SAP returns the sales order number to .NET.
Orders are getting created as expected, but once in a while we are getting the following error from webservice :
Web service processing error; more details in the web service error log on provider side (UTC timestamp 20140609173429; Transaction ID 4DFCEFE33301F1EBB5CE00155D0B4530)
But the problem is order is getting created in SAP for the perticular quote for which we are getting the above error and this order number is not getting returned to .NET.
Upon analysis in TCODE SRT_UTIL for the above transaction ID, has the following details , which are hardly help full to resolve the error.
----TYPE CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB
----ERROR_TEXT The database returned a value containing an error
----CX_SY_NO_HANDLER
-----CLASSNAME CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB
This Exception raised by Web Service application
Could you please help in resolving this issue or alteast provide an approach for the same.
Thank you,
Suresh.Thank you Bhaskar,
How can we clarify whether the error is from SAP or Web part.
I have checked ST22, but there is not entry for the perticular exception transaction ID
My exception time stamp is

WenhaoHi Wenhao,
I did face something similar ....but when i tried it again...it worked..
In case it does not then before u try to start the procedure to dwnld the Enterprise service wsdl....
uncheck the wsdl validator check box in NWDS...
I suggest u first try to consume the wsdl by importing it locally...
just follow this blog by Boris step by step..
/people/boris.mohr/blog/2007/01/23/how-to-guide-for-consuming-a-web-service-with-a-standalone-client-using-sap-netweaver-application-server-javatm-ee-5-edition
Once u r able to do this..then u can try to consume it from service registry

Error during creation of web service from abap rfc
Hi,
I'm creating a web service from abap rfc (SE37), but at the end of Creation Wizard I have this error:
"web service object already exist".
This is my first web service creation. Into WSADMIN there are not web services with the same name.
How can I solve this problem?
Thanks!Hi,
What system/release/SP do you use ?
Beginning with Netweaver 7.0 SP14, you configure Web services with SOAMANAGER and you don't see them with WSADMIN...

Hello,
I have Tomcat 3.3.1a web container running with JSP that acts like Weblogic 7.0
SP2
webservice client. However, when I try to send data file to webservice, I get
the following
error:
web service invoke failed; nested exception is:
javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: failed to serialize xml:weblogic.xml.schema.binding.SerializationException:
mapping lookup failure. class=class javax.activation.DataHandler class context=TypedClassContext{schemaType=['http://www.ma.ee']:register}
It is SOAP With Attachments style webservice. Is it related somehow with javax.activation.Datahandler
class? Please answer urgently!
Best regards,

WEB Service task excuting error "method not found"
Hii All,
I am the beginner of ssis, and on executing the package I am getting error :
[Web Service Task] Error: An error occurred with the following error message: "Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.WebServiceTask.WebserviceTaskException: Could not execute the Web method. The error is: Method 'ProxyNamespace.BizTalkServiceInstance.Submit'
not found..
at Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.WebServiceTask.WebMethodInvokerProxy.InvokeMethod(DTSWebMethodInfo methodInfo, String serviceName, Object connection)
at Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.WebServiceTask.WebServiceTaskUtil.Invoke(DTSWebMethodInfo methodInfo, String serviceName, Object connection, VariableDispenser taskVariableDispenser)
at Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.WebServiceTask.WebServiceTask.executeThread()".
Please help me out..Hi Mangla,
Based on my research, the issue always caused by the data type of input variable mismatch for the Web Service. For example, the input type for web service is String. The variable was of type Object but in fact it was a Decimal stored in it. Obviously SSIS
Web Service Task will not implicitly do a .toString() call on the input variable. So the issue occurs.
To fix this issue, please change the type of the variable. For more details, please refer to the following similar thread:
https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/sqlserver/en-US/1073ad37-ed05-4ab4-85e3-689e1cd17a68/ssis-web-service-task-error-with-wcf-service
Besides, SSIS cannot invoke services with spaces in the names. And we should configure the HTTP connection manager the following ways:
Use credentials.
Use a client certificate.
Provide a time-out for connecting to the server and a chunk size for writing data.
Use a proxy server.

HTTP Connection Manager

SSIS Web Service Task Error with WCF Service
I have read all the other posts on this site and have not been able to resolve my issue.
For testing purposes i created a very simple WCF service that takes no arguments and returns true. That is all it does.
When i create a winform client and instantiate the service i can run my service method and get true back so i know the service works.
I then create a test SSIS package with 1 task, a web service task.
I set the web service tasks properties as follows:
http connection: http://localhost/WCF_SSIS_Prototype/Service1.svc
wsdl file: C:\...\SSIS_WCF_Prototype\Service1.wsdl (I know this is not a valid path, i changed it for posting to forum)
Service: Service1
Method: GetData
Variable: User::BResult
When i run the package i get the following error:
[Web Service Task] Error: An error occurred with the following error message: "Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.WebServiceTask.WebserviceTaskException: Could not execute the Web method. The error is: Method 'ProxyNamespace.Service1.GetData' not found.. at Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.WebServiceTask.WebMethodInvokerProxy.InvokeMethod(DTSWebMethodInfo methodInfo, String serviceName, Object connection) at Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.WebServiceTask.WebServiceTaskUtil.Invoke(DTSWebMethodInfo methodInfo, String serviceName, Object connection) at Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.WebServiceTask.WebServiceTask.executeThread()".
I'm not sure why it is saying "Method 'ProxyNamespace.Service1.GetData' not found. It the web service task trying to create a proxy class and naming the proxy class namespace ProxyNamespace?
Any help is greatly appreciated.Hi,
How do you get around the same issue if your string type is based on a client token ? I downloaded the .wsdl file, was able to see the service name, method and when selecting a method type, I am required to provide a client token which was given
to me. (Name column = clienttoken, Type = string, Value = 2227656 - ec8922 (client token numbers goes there)? I am new to use ssis and need your help please
error message: Web Service Task] Error: An error occurred with the following error message:

Problems connecting to php web service
Hello
I am pretty raw when it comes to using web services. I am facing a bit of a problem.
I have been given a url to a web service. http://41.208.61.35/legacyfallback/ws/legacyLifeWS.php?wsdl
I am trying to connect using cfinvoke:
<cfinvoke webservice="http://41.208.61.35/legacyfallback/ws/legacyLifeWS.php?wsdl" method="test" returnVariable="result"> </cfinvoke>
<cfoutput>#result.test#</cfoutput>
I keep getting the following error:
Cannot generate stub objects for web service invocation.
Name: http://41.208.61.35/legacyfallback/ws/legacyLifeWS.php?wsdl. WSDL: http://41.208.61.35/legacyfallback/ws/legacyLifeWS.php?wsdl. java.io.IOException: Type {http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema}char is referenced but not defined. It is recommended that you use a web browser to retrieve and examine the requested WSDL document to ensure it is correct. If the requested WSDL document cannot be retrieved or is dynamically generated, it is likely that the target web service has programming errors.
Please can someone assist me in getting around this.
Have a look at the service url if you need to.
Ive been at it all day and im ready to pull my hair out!
Thanks in advanceHi
Ok now i am using the following code:
<cfinvoke webservice="http://41.208.61.35/legacyfallback/ws/legacyLifeWS.php?wsdl" method="register" returnvariable="registerRequest">
<cfinvokeargument name="wsUserName" value="delon">
<cfinvokeargument name="wsUserPass" value="cheketri">
<cfinvokeargument name="mobileNumber" value="0834064488">
<cfinvokeargument name="name" value="delon">
<cfinvokeargument name="gender" value="M">
<cfinvokeargument name="birthDate" value="01-01-2010">
<cfinvokeargument name="merchantid" value="0">
<cfinvokeargument name="email" value="[email protected]">
</cfinvoke>
and getting the follosing error:
Web service operation register with parameters {mobileNumber={0831727737},name={hansie},wsUserPass={smit},birthDate={01-01-2010},gender= {M},email={[email protected]},wsUserName={delon},merchantid={0}} cannot be found.
WHy would that be?
I checked with the provider and the var names are correct. -
Hello,
I have a web service task that worked fine prior to upgrading from SQL Server 2005, but in 2012 fails with an error saying the "wsdl file is invalid". I am using the same wsdl file as I was using in 2005. Connectivity tests for the
web service connection manager in 2012 worked fine. Any ideas on why I would be getting a failed wsdl file when it worked ok on the 2005 platform? Below is the specific error:
[Web Service Task] Error: An error occurred with the following error message: "Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.WebServiceTask.WebserviceTaskException: Could not read the Web Services Description Language (WSDL) file. The input WSDL file is not valid.
The following error occurred while reading the file. There is an error in XML document (3, 2)..
at Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.WebServiceTask.WebServiceTaskUtil..ctor(Object connection, String downloadedWSDL)
at Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.WebServiceTask.WebServiceTask.executeThread()".
Thanks for any help or suggestions,
PatNeed to open the package for editing and resave, perhaps there were changes in how the Web Services task is persisted to package file. (a more typical upgrade path is SSIS 2005 to SSIS 2008, then 2012)

Web Services and Nested Complex Types
I am having troubles trying to get coldfusion to use a web
service function.
I know that the web service works as I am sending another
function in a simple variable and receiving a simple variable. I
know the function exists as I when I dump the object the function
is there and I have been told by who supplies it that it works in
other languages.
The problem I am having is that when I call the function I
get the following error: Web service operation "[function name]"
with parameters [parameters] could not be found. I am lead to
believe that it may have to do with the fact that one of the
parameters is a complex type with nested complex types, because of
the amount of trouble it took to get nested complex types to
(apparently) work.
Has anyone had this problem before and/or know how to fix
it?You can invoke methods which take complextypes as parameters.
The idea is to create first a structure which represents the
complextype. For example; crit = structNew(), crit.paramname1 =
value1, ctir.paramname2 = value2. After this, you just pass the
structure
crit as a parameter value, for example with
<cfinvokeargument>.
Always check the wsdl and the possible documentation
carefully. You'll get always an error if the types of the
parameters passed didn't match exactly to what was expected.
Handling complextype responses is also possible, but not very
elegant with ColdFusion.
For example, you have <cfinvoke
returnvariable="wsResult"... >, and you get a java object as a
response which you can really do nothing about with CF functions,
you must use Java Reflection API to extract the values.
<cfset oFields =
wsresult.getClass().getDeclaredFields()>
<cfoutput>
<cfloop from="1" to="#arraylen(oFields)#" index="fi">
<cfset field = oFields[fi].getName()>
<cfif isdefined("wsresult." & field) AND field NEQ
"typedesc">
#field# = #wsResult[field]#<br>
</cfif>
</cfloop>
</cfoutput>
The above is just an example, and It might work with only
some types of complextype responses. But it's a start. :)
http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg00553.html
is also another example about handling complextype responses. It
plays "safer", not relying that CF can extract values without
"getters" automatically, and is more of a complete solution.
