Error when activate analytic view (join tables)-Exception during activation

Dear guru,
I suffered an error showed "Exception during activation" when activate a newly created analytic view.
I used two tables, one is NASDAQDAILY, one is NYSEDAILY.
Private attribute are "DATE, STOCK(NYSE.STOCK), STOCK_1(NASDAQ.STOCK"
Measure are "PRICEOPEN(NYSE), PRICEOPEN_1(NASDAQ)"
JOINS are: Left Table-NASDAQ, Left Column-DATE
Right Table-NYSE, Right Column-DATE
Validate is sucessfully.
But when "Save and Activate", it gave below error.

Hello,
This issue is resolved now.
The problem was with the file system space on the Unix server(on which portal is installed).
The server administrators and the Basis team extended the disk space and issue got resolved.

Error when using Analytic view with Input Parameters

Hi,
I am trying to create an info space based on my Analytic view which has input parameters. The infospace is validated and indexed without any issue. However when I ran the view, I get an error (50011) as it is unable to fetch any results. I tried using an infospace based on Calculation view with input parameters and the explorer view works without any issue.
Has anyone faced similar issues?
We are using HANA SP 6 rev 67 and BI 4.0 SP 4.
Also is there a way to enable input prompts for the users when they refresh the BO Explorer view? If not currently available is there any work around ?

I don't have any personalization set on the info space. Also I am using mapped Account in BI to connect to HANA. The confusing part is that it is able to validate the infospace with the input parameters and index it. However query does not return any results. I even tried running the same query which explorer sends to HANA in the SQL editor and there too the same results,the query does not return anything. The model does return data when I do a data preview and if accessed from other tools like AAO.
Also when I use SSO connection to HANA, indexing of the infospace fails. Where can I see the error log?

Error when displaying analytical view

I own a cloudshare account. i created attribute views and when i want to display, it worked. but when i created the analytic view and look for "open content" option, its missing. then i gave the sql command "Grant select on schema SYSTEM to _SYS_REPO with grant option". then also it didn't work. please help. the relevant screen shot is attached.

Why am I getting a syntax error when creating a user-defined table type in SQL Server 2014?

We are getting the following error when activating an ODS:
Fiscal year variant not expected
Error when assigning SID: Action VAL_SID_CONVERT table 0FISCPER
Interestingly, we have two systems for two different phases, on the same BW 3.5 SP level and the corresponding source R/3 SP Levels. BEx reporting is turned on for both the ODSs.
On one system, the ODS get's activated without any issue and on the other, it get's errored out.
I have tried different things like Rebuiding Global Transfer Settings, comparing the data between the two systems, etc., but no use.
Any ideas/solutions?

I have checked once and found all the data is correct. I will do that again.
When I tried RSRV checks on 0FISCPER and 0FISCVARNT, I am getting the following message:
0FISCVARNT is not a characteristic but an InfoObject of type TIM
Message no. RSRV209
Diagnosis
The value entered 0FISCVARNT must be the name of a characteristic. However, 0FISCVARNT is an InfoObject of type TIM.
The following values can be types:
CHA characteristic
KYF key figure
TIM time characteristic
UNI unit
DPA package
ATR attribute
MTA meta-InfoObject

Error when trying to view purchased items in app store

My ipad has an error when trying to view my "purchased" items in app store, keeps "Loading...." for a while and then close the app.
All the other options works well (featured, top charts, genius, updates...)
I already turn off / on the ipad many times, same problem....

the SAP Visual Business frontend component requires the FPM application to run in a browser mode 'standard'. You can press F12 in your browser to adjust this.
Check note 1987004 to adjust the default mode for the application.
In addition, it is important to check the SAP VB installation guide for the right NWBC and browser version.

Error when attempting to merge into table with RLS - ORA - 28132

hey,
i've encountered an "ORA-28132 - Merge into syntax does not support security policies" when attempting to merge into a table with RLS defined on it.
i looked around and found this [discussion |http://asktom.oracle.com/pls/asktom/f?p=100:11:0::::P11_QUESTION_ID:259415261270] on ask tom.
according to the thread - this was a bug in 9i. in 10g merge is possible only if the policy returns "null" and in 11g it was finally fixed.
*i have been able to merge into tables with rls in 10gR2 in some cases.*
i would like to know if anyone has some more information about this error. when can i merge into tables with RLS ?

Never.
The bug was that it did work sometimes in 10g i.e. it should always raise an error.
It's something that I've always found a bit odd and frustrating - that MERGE and RLS policy should not be compatible.
But bottom line is that you shouldn't be using MERGE on table with RLS policy.

Chuckwagons post - error when trying to view

In trying to view chuckwagons post, "just received my new iMac 2.1" (http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=319765&tstart=0), I keep getting an error. It just says an error has occurred and we apologize for the inconvenience. However, I notice that new posts are being added so some folks are able to read and post. Is anyone else getting an error when trying to view this post? I've tried Safari, Firefox and IE. I'm trying to make up my mind as to which iMac I want - G5 or Core Duo. Right now I'm leaning towards the G5 and it would be nice to be able to see what chuckwagon has to say.

Try restarting everything and then try to sync or reactivate. Quit iTunes, reboot your computer, reboot your iPad and then try again.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Basically , when you design your analytic views , while designing your data foundation , you can directly join the tables with the corresponding key attributes . Analytic views are capable of optimizing the join operation when we access the view.Logic of joining is purely depends on your business requirement
