Error when consuming WebService SOAP in DataService 4.2

Hi everybody,
I've a problem when I try to import the function in DataService 4.2 (the Data Service version is 14.2.1.224).
How you can see in the attachments file, I've created the DataStore WebServiceSoap with le right characteristics but when during the import i have the error.
I've tried to use the web service
https://po-cloud.com/POWebService/POService.asmx?wsdl
in SOAPUI and in Strike Iron Webservice Analyzer and everything works correctly.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks a lot
Simone

Yeah, I'm getting a similar exception here, but it's when I run a client application whose stubs have been generated by the clientgen ANT task. Seems to have something to do with processing the Faults in my WSDL. I've traced the NPE to this line of code in
weblogic.wsee.bind.internal.FormQualifiedHelper.getPropertyForElement:
String s1 = bynamebean.getName().getXmlName().getQName().getNamespaceURI();
bynamebean.getName().getXmlName().getQName() returns null.
BEA, is this problem innocuous, and if so, is there a way to get rid of the exception? It's very disconcerting.

    Hi All,
    I am facing a issue executing a proxy class created by consuming web service.
    I have consumed a web service which queries data from oracle server to process them in SAP.We have created a Proxy class and did the following configurations:
    1) Created a logical port using SOAMANAGER
    2) In SICF t-code we have selected No proxy setting for local server.
    But when we execute the proxy class it gives an error as "SoapFaultCode:1'.

    Regards,

    Hi Prasad,
    if you are testing Cloud WSDL via SOAP UI and any error you can check into Application and User Management --> Business Communication Monitoring --> and from drop down select "Reject Web Service Call" option to know more about your error.
    as per you error i thing if Work Assignment 1 is not available or may be leading zero problem, i don't know but you can check the error log into the cloud may be its helpful to you.

    I had the same error, while implementing a new client webservice.
    The Error ERROR_WEBSERVICE_RUNTIME_INIT was in my case solved by:
    1. regenerating the CL_SOAP_APPLICATION_CLIENT class.
    and
    2. deleting the LPCONFIG setting and creating a new one.

  • Error in consuming webservice in SE80 - SOAP:1.023 SRT: Processing error in Internet Communication Framework: ("ICF Error when receiving the response: ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION)

    Dear Gurus,
    Hope you all are fine. I am consuming 2 external WSDL's in ABAP (SE80 - Service Consumer). These are working fine in SAP DEV server. But when i execute tham in SAP QAS server, i am getting this error.
    (SOAP:1.023 SRT: Processing error in Internet Communication Framework: ("ICF Error when receiving the response: ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION))
    can anybody tell whet could be the problem?

    These proxies are working fine in DEV server. I transported them in QAS and tried to execute but getting that error. Networking team say that SAP and other servers can free communicate to each other.

  • Error in Consuming webservice proxy in SAP

    Hi,
    I have a webservice which I am not able to consume in SAP. I get an error 'Cannot generate Proxy (object <attribute name="arrayType"> missing in WSDL, see long text').
    When i tried to search in SDN, I found a post which says that SAP doesnt support soapenc:Array types and it can be converted to corresponding Sequence. I went through the help link
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/43/ce993b45cb0a85e10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm
    which has a link which shows an example.
    Accordingly, I have changed mine from:
    - <schema targetNamespace="https://tserver.perfectcompliance.com/4DSOAP/LLX_Guardian" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:SOAP-ENC="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/">
    - <complexType name="ArrayOfstring" xmlns:wsdl="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/">
    - <complexContent>
    - <restriction base="SOAP-ENC:Array">
      <attribute ref="SOAP-ENC:arrayType" wsdl:arrayType="xsd:string[]" />
      </restriction>
      </complexContent>
      </complexType>
      </schema>
    To:
    - <schema targetNamespace="https://tserver.perfectcompliance.com/4DSOAP/LLX_Guardian" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:SOAP-ENC="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/">
    - <complexType name="ArrayOfstring">
    - <sequence>
      <element name="item" type="xsd:string" minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="unbounded" />
      </sequence>
      </complexType>
      </schema>
    After doing the above changes, I am able to consume webservice and create a proxy but it's not working. When i execute any method which is using the Arrayofstring, it gives me an error:
    Complex Types cannot be parsed.
    Is my above change in XML wrong. Do I need to do any other changes.

  • Error in consuming webservices using ABAP

    Dear Gurus,
    I am trying to consume webservices using ABAP. We dont have XI installed and no java instance installed.
    I created a customer proxy through SE80 and generated a proxy class by giving a WSDL link and also defined logical port. Traditionally followed the steps. But while testing webservices , I get a ICF error.
    The error is as follows:
    SOAP : 1:023 SRT : Processing error in internet communication framework ("ICF error when recieving the response  ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED)
    Please let me know the cause of this error and solution to be provided.
    I also tried to call the method from an abap program, But I get CX_AI_SYSTEM_FAULT exception.
    Awaiting your replies.
    Thanks in advance for your support and valuable time.
    Thanks
    Gurushanthi

    Hi Gurushanthi,
    It could one of several problems, examples:
    - A firewall setting
    - http communication out disabled by Basis team or
    - The logical port wasn't configured correctly.
    Try the suggestions in this thread to narrow down the reason (particularly the telnet test from the server):

    Hi friends,
    I am trying to consume a WebService and the WSDL that I try to consume passes the test performed with report RSSIDL_DESERIALIZE_DEMO.
    But when I try to execute the WebService, I get the following error:
    Error (id=SOAP:1.001): CX_ST_GROUP_MISSING_CASE:XSLT exception.Element 'cn' missing
    Can anybody help me ? Thanks

    Please Check the  following note
    Error when indexing data provider services (next by time)
    SAP Note Number: 1377473
    Symptom
    When you index data from the data provider services,
    the termination "Error occurred in the next by timestamp data service at last timestamp" or "SOAP:1.001 CX_ST_GROUP_MISSING_CASE:XSLT exception.Element 'NamespaceID' missing" occurs (see the job log in the cockpit of the
    Enterprise Search).
    Thie exception occurs if the service is implemented for the complete indexing but not for the delta indexing.

  • Timeout when consuming a SOAP web service

    Hello,
    I'm quite new to Labview and I'm trying to consume a SOAP web service created using a very simple WCF example, but I keep on getting a WebException because of a timeout.
    The web service has been created using the example from the WCF getting started tutotial (to keep things simple) http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms734712.aspx
    You'll find my .Net solution attached to this message. (You'll have to be administrator to run the service though).
    I have used the import web service tool in Labview to create the VI to connect to the web service and all went fine, it created the VI correctly. You'll find the created VI also attached to this message.
    Then, I'm trying to create a very simple VI to call the webservice and put the return value inside a numeric indicator. Unfortunately, when I run this VI it crashes with a WebException because of a timeout.
    If I run the .Net client, everything goes fine, and if I go to the web service address with a browser, I get the service website, so I know that the server is registered correctly, only Labview can't connect to it for an unknown reason. Everything is setup to connect through localhost:8000, so it can't really be a network problem, I've tried disabling the Windows firewall to see if that was the problem, but it persists.
    I've also tried to do something similar using the CDYNE web service, like in the example http://www.ni.com/white-paper/4728/en/, and it works perfectly.
    Does anybody have an idea about what could be the issue?
    Regards.

    OK, I found the problem myself, it was a problem with the configuration of the WCF service, I was missing the ServiceMetadata endpoint.
    For reference, if somebody stumbles upon the same issue as I had, here's a service configuration that works with Labview (using .Net >=4.0)
      <system.serviceModel>
        <behaviors>
          <serviceBehaviors>
            <behavior name="">
              <serviceMetadata httpGetEnabled="true" />
              <serviceDebug includeExceptionDetailInFaults="true" />
            </behavior>
          </serviceBehaviors>
        </behaviors>
        <protocolMapping>
          <add scheme="http" binding="basicHttpBinding" />
        </protocolMapping>
      </system.serviceModel>
    And here's how to create and run the service host.
    using (ServiceHost selfHost = new ServiceHost(typeof(Calculator), new Uri("http://localhost:8000/Calculator")))
                    try
                        selfHost.Open();
                        Console.ReadLine();
                        selfHost.Close();
                    catch (CommunicationException e)
                        selfHost.Abort();
                        throw;

  • Error when Consuming a WS from an ABAP program

    Hello,
    I am getting an error when I try to consume a WS from my ABAP program. The error states ' Unexpected element -el=definitions ns=http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/' and the code is SOAP: 14
    This should be a simple call to a WS from BOBJ. I have searched OSS and SDN and I can't find any help. We are using 7.01 SP3
    Actually I watched the blog by Thomas Jung to get me started and thing went well except forthe part where I was supposed to create the logical port via SOAMANAGER. I got this error 'Error: Initial value "context operation table" in methodDELETE_INVALID_INTERFACE_NODES of class CL_SRT_WSP_CONFIG_SIDL' so I used LPCONFIG instead and them SM59.
    Has anyone encountered something like this?
    Thanks!
    Rich

    Ok so I got the bright idea of putting an external breakpoint in the DELETE_INVALID_INTERFACE_NODES method of class CL_SRT_WSP_CONFIG_SIDL and interestingly I think I am on to something. The code that is throwing an expection is srt_wsp_error_is_initial lt_operations[] 'context operation table'. "#EC NOTEXT at approximentally line 89.
    So I am doing my amateur sleuthing in the debugger and it leads me to the WSDL and what looks like a missing operation for a port type. I say this b/c all the port type /port type  tags have operation/operation tags embedded within them. simliar to this
       <portType name="Real-time_Services" />
    - <portType name="Batch_Jobs">
    - <operation name="Oracle">
      <input message="tns:Oracle_Input" />
      <output message="tns:Oracle_Output" />
      </operation>
      </portType>
    - <portType name="Realtime_Service_Admin">
    - <operation name="Get_RTService_List">
      <input message="tns:Get_RTService_List_Input" />
      <output message="tns:Get_RTService_List_Output" />
      </operation>
    - <operation name="Run_Realtime_Service">
      <input message="tns:Run_Realtime_Service_Input" />
      <output message="tns:Run_Realtime_Service_Output" />
      </operation>
    - <operation name="Get_RTMsg_Format">
      <input message="tns:Get_RTMsg_Format_Input" />
      <output message="tns:Get_RTMsg_Format_Output" />
      </operation>
      </portType>
    Note the first port type = Real-time_services doesn't have an end port tag and in the debugger my ABAP is shortdumping when trying to proess this port type
    I think I found my error. Can anyone who has seen this before verify this for me before I give the WSDL creator heck
    Thanks
    Rich
