Error when creating a saved result set

Hi all,
I want to create a saved result set with the marketing tool in OBIEE. I have made a saved result list format. But when I want to create the saved result set, I get this error:
Error in getting cursor for WorkNode (Id:0)
Authentication Failure.
Odbc driver returned an error (SQLDriverConnectW).
State: 08004. Code: 10018. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: 08004] [nQSError: 10018] Access for the requested connection is refused. [nQSError: 43001] Authentication failed for Administrator in repository Star: invalid user/password. (08004)
Does anyone know how to solve this?

Hi,
You would have to create Credential store values for the Administrator User.
(Refere to the Chapter 5 – “Oracle BI Presentation Services Credential Store” of the OBIEE Deployment Guide). You would have to include the Credential store info and additional Administrator user tag to overcome this issue.

We have migrated Siebel Analytincs 7.8.5 to OBIEE 10.1.3.4, and we are now unable to create any SRS from OBIEE though we can create Segment and marketing cache for the segment.
We did the following steps -
1. Unisntall Siebel Analytincs 7.8.5
2. Install OBIEE 10.1.3.4
3. Use MIGRATE tool (sawmigrate) to migrate RPD & WEBCAT
4. We have ALTERed the SRS tables - M_SR_HEADER, M_SR_ACCOUNT (as in OBIEE version there are many new columns have been added)
5. We passed GLOBAL CONSISTENCY in the RPD
6. We followed the steps in the document *"Oracle®Marketing Segmentation Guide Version 10.1.3.4 July 2008"*
7. We created a Saved Result Set Format as instructed in the document - here we are very confused to select the list of columns - we don't know what should be the excat source / format
8. Then we click the SRS create button
9. We got the below error -
Error Codes: QS2QOLYY:GDL67CY9:IHVF6OM7:OPR4ONWY:U9IM8TAC

It seems like you didnt setup the Administrator user for Saved Result Sets as it mentioned in the Marketing Segmentation Guide.
Here is an extract from the guide:
Setting Up the Web Administrator for Managing Cache and Saved Result Sets
Some queries issued by the segmentation engine require the use of the Execute Physical stored
procedure. These queries include delete statements on the cache, delete statements on the saved
result sets, and insert statements for the cache and saved result set. The Execute Physical stored
procedure must be run by a user with administrator privileges. The administrator user is set up in
the instanceconfig.xml file.
NOTE: The BI Administrator password and login parameters are case sensitive.
To set up the administrative user in the instanceconfig.xml file
1 Open a command shell and navigate to the <OracleBI>/web/bin, where <OracleBI> represents
the root directory of the installation.
2 Execute the following command:
cryptotools credstore -add -infile <OracleBIData>/web/config/credentialstore.xml
3 When prompted, enter the following values:
Credential Alias: admin
Username: Administrator
Password: <enter Admin password here>
Do you want to encrypt the password? y
Passphrase for encryption: <password >
Do you want to write the passphrase to the xml? n

Need to know:
Tax amount is also included in the credit check?
Is the total sales order value: 50,459.46 is included in the Credit exposure value?
If it is not included then the total will go beyond the Credit limit value. Fine the block is ok.
If it is included in the Credit exposure, then the total amount will be 3,09,089.1. Which is less than 3,50,000. So credit check should not happen.
But it is blocked and the error is through as u201Corder blocked for delivery as a result of credit checku201D.
Please let me know the reason & what other checks I have to look on.
So that I can provide the reason for this action.

Hi,
Generally total value of the sales order is considered for the Credit management.
Now if you want tax should not be included for the credit management.
Then you have to make small changes in pricing procedure.
Go to V/08 and select your pricing procedure and go to control data.
Check out the setting where your grand total is happening.
In the subtotal column you will find out A has been put up.
This A trigger the credit exposure of the credit management.
So if you want that tax should not be included then, check out where your total net value has been calculated before tax.
Over there put the A in the sub total column and remove it from the previous setting.
Save this setting now check whether the credit is happening including the tax or not.

"Saved Result Sets" message when using the raplace wizard in the Admin Tool

Hi,
I'm just trying to replace an existing Essbase source with a new one in my Business Model using the replace wizard. )It's a cube with > 1.5k account members so I'm really not looking forward to doing that manually).
So far all migrations have worked fine, but somehow this time after specifying which tables to use for the replace, instead of showing me a list of columns which will be changed, the wizard throws a "Saved Result Sets" message and just hangs. Every time I hit "Finish" the message appears again.
Here's a screenshot .
Anyone ever came across this?

Update: looks like the wizard is really overwhelmed with big cubes (1.5k accounts, 20 dims @ approx 10 generations each) and just breaks.
I haven't figured out the exact limit, but I'm able to migrate pack of about 8 dims at a time as long as I leave the accounts dim out and do that on itself.

Error when creating billing / accounting document with VF01

Hi All,
When I use VF01 to create an invoice with reference to a LF D/N, I got the following error after saving.
"An exchange rate type is not defined for country CN
Message no. FF 802". And billing document is created but with no accounting document.
I checked the exchange rate type is defined. but I can not find the place where I can assign to the specific country.

In FTXP, the tax code has been maintained.
And you are right, when I maintain the field KURST in table T005, it is ok. But I am confused in 4.6C, the field KURST can be maintained by T-code OY01, but in 470, exchange rate type cannot be found in OY01. Where can I set in 470? And why in 470, even field KURST is empty in table T005, but there is no such error when creating billing document?

OBIEE: Schedule Segments with Saved Result Sets?

Hi!
I'd like to know how it is possible to solve this problem:
Imagine that we have segments that were created with Segment Designer and configured with Saved Result Sets (SRS). Some of them are quicker to execute at night, so the goal is to schedule at night the execution of those sements and the respective saving of result sets. The next morning, the marketeer using Siebel Marketing, when designing and building the campaign, would only have to select the segment and then choose to use the contacts of the SRS of that segment, instead of running on-the-fly (online) the segment...
Was may explanation clear? How is this possible?

For troubleshooting this issue, let's verify the followings:
Whether you can create wiki pages well.
Whether this issue occurs for other sties.
Whether all users have this issue. Please test with Site administrator, compare the result.
As Naveen said, please check the log file to find more information about this issue. The path of the log file is: C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\Web Server Extensions\15\LOGS.

Why am I getting a syntax error when creating a user-defined table type in SQL Server 2014?

When you are using the Internal ITS,you need not run the report W3_PUBLISH_SERVICES.(only SIAC_PUBLISH_ALL_INT )
ALso pls check the foll:
-->activate the services through SICF tcode.
> Go to SICF transaction and activate the whole tree under the node Deafult host>sap>bc>gui>sap>its.
>Also maintain the settings in SE80>utilities>settings>internet transactuon server-->test service/Publish.
Table TWPURLSVR should have entries for the / SRM server line as well as gui and web server.
Could you please review again the following steps ?
Did you check that ICM was working correctly (TA SMICM) ?
1-Activate the necessary ICF services
With transaction SICF and locate the
services by path
/sap/public/bc/its/mimes
/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui
2- Publish the IAC Services
With Transaction SE80 locate from
the menu Utilities -> Settings ->
Internet Transaction Server (Tab) ->
Publish (Tab) and set On Selected
Site = INTERNAL.
3- Locate the Internet Services SYSTEM and WEBGUI.
Publish these services with the Context
Menu -> Publish -> Complete Service
4- Browse to http://<server>:<icmport>/sap/bc/gui/
sap/its/webgui/! and login to the
webgui.

We're upgrading our 46c System to ERP 6.0 EHP4.

Please Check the things in following sequence :
1.Use latest SAPehpi, R3trans and tp versions.
2. users/group authorization issue and/or ownersip limitations (set 777) .Reboot the server to make sure, that the authorisations are updated and there is no lock on a file in the EHPI dir.Repeat the phase.
Folders where permissions should be 777 are Upgrade directory, Data Directory, Cofile directory and .../EPS/in.
3. Source file corruption can be ruled out by execution
R3trans -l /usr/sap/<SID>/..../abap/data/R-700BGINPLMWUI.SAP (The data file corresponding to the Package which is giving error). Check if this ends fine.

4. Confirm that your transport tool is 'healthy' by testing it in STMS. In SPAM in client 000 use the function Disassemble package and enter the package <Package name>.
5. Try to update the kernel if it not helps.

Please check the user language setting in SU01. If no language is defined, the portal will use the browser to set the portal language. The payslip language is defined in feature HRFOR and must match the employee's molga. If the language defined for the employee's payslip is different from the user's, a dump will occur. Try changing the user's language setting.

Error when creating index with parallel option on very large table

I am getting a
"7:15:52 AM ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kxfqupp_bad_cvl], [7940], [6], [0], [], [], [], []"
error when creating an index with parallel option. Which is strange because this has not been a problem until now. We just hit 60 million rows in a 45 column table, and I wonder if we've hit a bug.
Version 10.2.0.4
O/S Linux
As a test I removed the parallel option and several of the indexes were created with no problem, but many still threw the same error... Strange. Do I need a patch update of some kind?

This is most certainly a bug.

Vehicle Scheduling Error:Error when creating transport structures in live C

HI Gurus,
We have one background job defined for Vehicle scheduling, which shows completed successfully but in log it says that :
: Error when creating transport structures in liveCache and Not possible to schedule shipment in the planning horizon.
My planning horizon is for 90 days from current date and demand horizon is for 30 days.
I have checked the VS profile and i dont find any problem with profile.
Can you please help me in finding what exaclty went wrong

Try This..
1. Open the crystal client on your local machine and import that particular report.
2. Do Database -> Verify Database. Then refresh the report on your PC and make sure that it returns data as expected.
3. Export it back to repository and try scheduling it again. You can verify through CMC for Crystal Reports under " Database Configuration" property to make sure it points to the right ODBC.
