Smash126Hi Smash126,
Based on the error message” Could not allocate a new page for database REPORTING' because of insufficient disk space in filegroup 'PRIMARY'. Create the necessary space by dropping objects in the filegroup, adding additional files to the filegroup, or setting
autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup”, we can know that the issue is caused by the there is no sufficient disk space in filegroup 'PRIMARY' for the ‘REPORTING’ database.
To fix this issue, we can add additional files to the filegroup by add a new file to the PRIMARY filegroup on Files page, or setting Autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup to increase the necessary space.
The following document about Add Data or Log Files to a Database is for your reference:

If there are any other questions, please feel free to ask.

Can anyone list the problems/errors when uploading data using BDC's and BAPI's?
Hi,
If you are actually creating a BDC to load data pls be more specific.
Data format incorrect. Tab delimited/ etc
Dates in wrong formats
Currency incorrect formats
Missing screens
Wrong transaction code
File not found,
Missing Mandatory fields,
Screen resoultion.
You should always use refresh for your Bdcdata table.
Loop at internal table.
refresh Bdcdata.

Data with "," overflows to the next field when importing data with DTW
Dear all,
When I tried to import data with DTW, for the data that includes ",", the data after "," all jumps into the next field after import.
E.g. Column A(memo): bank, United state
Column B(project code): blank
Result in SBO: Memo field : bank
Project code: United state
I have tried 2 ways.
1. Save the file as csv, and adding double quote(") at the beginning and ending of the data. However, it didn't work. It didn't work with single quote as well.
2. Save the file as txt, without amending the data at all.
It worked, however, in SBO, double quote is auto added, it becomes "bank, United state".
Please kindly advise how to handle such case.
Thank you.

Error while importing data in DTW
hi,
while importing the data for items in DTW the option for browsing templates differs from normal DTW. "query params" the odd structure displayed in the tree structure when we select the data source file.for items alone i had this type of tree structure.after selecting the source file i got the error as "itemNo is missing". even though the itemcode is entered.i couldn't import the file.hi,
i refered to your note.absolutely tat was the error i got.i checked the 1st workaround.but i couldn't import the file and i got the same error itemNo is missing.
but while checking the 2nd workaround i couldn't uninstall the DTW.there is a window opened by displays the following information.
"The following applications are using files that need to be updated by this setup.close this applications and click retry to continue".if i ignore this window i got the error msg as
"another application has exclusive access to the file C:\ProgramFiles\SAP\DataTransferWorkbench\dtw.mdb.please shutdown all the applications and retry".
if i click retry, the same error was displayed again and again.if i cancelled i got the error as "fatal error during installation". -

krishHi,
HireDate Column int he table SCOTT"."TEMPTABLE2 is date. The data you are trying to insert is not in the Default Date format. Hence it could be the reason.
Please provide TEMPTABLE2 Column Structure and the sample data for more details,

Error when extracting data using DB Connect from an Oracle database
Hi All,
We are on BI 3.5 and loading data from a non-SAP (Oracle 10g) database using DB Connect.
I received the following error messages when trying to perform "Check DataSource" using the DB Connect setup in RSA1.
Event with errors RSDL_META_UPLOAD in DataSource
Message no. R8287
Warning Messages;
Message no. RSDL053
Field name ReceiptID contains non-alpha-numeric characters
Field name ActivityDate contains non-alpha-numeric characters
Field name ReceiptDate contains non-alpha-numeric characters
Field name ReceiptLineNumber must have between 000001 and 000016 digits
etc...
Views are created under the owner's user name. I have checked with DB personnel and they confirm that all the authorization and security access privileges have been correctly granted to the views.
We are also able to extract the data by running a sql query statement from the views using SQL Plus
Currently we also have a similar extraction process set up with an Oracle 9 database, which extracts the information without any issues.
Thanks,
AnthonyHi Mr Loh.
I know that this thread has over a year ago but i was looking for something similar for over 2 weeks ago and i ialways found this thread...I want to share my experience even that maybe you already found the same solution or something similar (i saw that you check your own post as answered):
I made a similar connection from BI 7 SP 18, but in my case was to a Microsoft SQL database 2005. When i "check the datasource" i receive like almost 150 warnings and 1 error and all the warnings and errors are the same ones as you describe above. What i did is create a custom view in the MSSQL database and convert all the column names to uppercase and the column names i limited to 16 characters at most. after doing that all the warnings and the error described disappear and i can view the database content when you made click in the "view content table" button.
I hope that this will help somebody and best regards

Error while importing data using SAPINST system copy method
Dear Friends,
I am in process of doing system copy from production to Quality.
OS: Linux
Database: DB2
We have completed export from production. I have uninstalled quality system before importing, uninstall of quality system was succesful. Know while importing the exported data by using sapinst method, i am getting error in phase define parameter. Where it is showing error as below.
==============
TRACE 2011-07-01 13:15:35.738

===================
from the above error , it seems it is trying to conect to old quality database, but i don't know why it is doing so, as i have already uninstall the complete instance using sapinst. need your expert suggestion to over come this issue.
Thanks
Anil BhandaryHi ,
This is probably due to shutdown of the system not correctly.
you will have to re-create control file.

Error when inputting data using scanner
At one point in my program I use scanner to read the users keyboard input, after pressing enter I get this error:
NullPointerException:
at JerooProgram.makeRobotJeroos(JerooProgram.java:158)
at JerooProgram.main(JerooProgram.java:23)
at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method)
at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(Unknown Source)
at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(Unknown Source)
at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Unknown Source)
Right after collecting the data I assign it to a String, I don't know if that matters or not.
SkeetlesSomething at line 158 has a null value (and shouldn't)
NullPointerException:
at JerooProgram.makeRobotJeroos(JerooProgram.java:158)
Figure out what the error is (one way is to print out all values used in that line of code.) -
Error when loading data using transformation
Hi,
I load a text file into an application using Transformation file. The load failed with error "Enforced *DESTINATION cannot be empty". What does this error mean?
ThanksHi Liana,
Do you have default logic turned on?
When you validate and process the transformation file, select the file that you want to load at the first prompt.
Do you get the same error?
Thanks,

Hello Gurus,
I am having issues when perform an LCM import to a different server. Following is what I get
Could not read zip file
EPMLCM-37015: Cannot Zip.
Warning in migrating artifact, "/Configuration/Properties/Application Definition".
EPMLCM-37038: Cannot perform migration. Unable to find artifact resource - Application Definition in the source application. I am not sure what needs to be done.
Any help will be highly appreciated. In 11.1.2.2 if it is a classic application then a Planning LCM export will contain "Application Definition.xpad", this does not exist for EPMA applications. For classic it will create the application.
For EPMA applications there will be a "Application Settings, Shared Dimensions, Filters and Overrides" file when an LCM EPMA export is run, the information in the file is the equivalent of the application definition file for a classic planning application.
For an EPMA application which doesn't exist you probably have to first LCM the EPMA artifacts then deploy which will create the planning application, then run an LCM for the planning artifacts
It does say even if it is an EPMA application that it will create the application if it does not exist but will fail because the "Application Definition.xpad" does not exist, whether this is the way it is meant to work or a bug I am not sure as I usually create the application first.
Cheers
John
