Error when previewing WD iView

Hi
We made a custom iView for ESS.
I am able preview it when I go to Content Admin --> Web Dynproo and when I select the application and preview it I can see the display.
But when I make a web dynpro iView from atemplate I get the following error

Hello,
I'm using EP7.0 SP 9 and IE6
I'm trying to create a XML IView to read RSS 2.0
I tried to use an URL from internet but it doesn't work so I create a folder in KM and I upload my rss.xml file there and try to create XML IView using it but it didn't work neither.
I'm having the following error :
Error while using XML iView, please contact your system administrator
In the logs I'm having this error :

Publish to portal error when creating a iview

hi gurus,
I have done complete BI-EP integration. SSO is also working fine. But when i publish a query from query designer to portal, i am geting a error when creating a iview for the query as show below.
Error:
Java system error: call FM RSRD_X_MAP_TO_PRTL_USERS_PROXY to ProgId EPD_PORTAL_B07 on host epdev with SSO not authorized: Authentication failed.
when i manually create a BI Query iview,its working fine but to create a iview from publish to portal in query designer it is througing me error.

When i used TCODE ST22 to check the ABAP error, it says that "You attempted to use a 'NULL' object reference (points to 'nothing') access a component (variable: " "). An object reference must point to an object (an instance of a class) before it can be used to access components. Either the reference was never set or it was set to 'NULL' using the CLEAR statement.". This error occurred in VARIABLE_START method.
When i searched the forums and also SAP notes, it says that I need to download and execute "SAPBINews BI 7.0 Support Package 15". Is this feasible?

Did you try the "Validate" function from the Word Template Builder?
It helps find many of these issues. The only thing that makes it more difficult to use
is that it tells you onlythe line number in the RTF file.
So if you don't know which field causes the issue, you need to open the RTF file
in a text editor like notepad, got to the line number and look for some
regular text close to it to the error to find where the issue is in the word document.

Strange Error when previewing or publishing

I am getting a very strange error when I publish to BC or when I go to preview in browser:
"Adobe Muse has encountered an error.. blah blah"
and then a very confusing:
"There should not be such ID exists in the mapping"
It forces Muse to close.
I can't think of any significant step I took to cause this problem from when it was working.

To enable the frequent release of new features within Muse, the team is always simultaneously working on many different improvements only some of which are completed and exposed in any given release. In the 2014.1 update some of the underlying code related to SVG support was unintentionally enabled. When copying and pasting from some versions of Adobe Illustrator (and other sources) the result may be an SVG vector graphic in Muse, rather than an image. While the SVG may appear to work in Design view, it can cause failures when exporting or publishing from Muse. This functionality will be disabled in an imminent dot release, 2014.1.1. We advise users to remove SVG content from their sites. Until 2014.1.1 is available, the graphics will need to be brought into Muse as .png, .jpg, .gif or .psd images using File > Place or Import, rather than Copy/Paste.
Sorry for the inconvenience. SVG support will be fully implemented, tested and included in a future major update of Muse.

Prevent errors when previewing app including Vibration ANE on desktop

I am making use of Adobe's Vibration ANE. It works fine when I deploy on my device but throws an error when I test my movie in the Flash IDE.
The content cannot be loaded because there was a problem loading an extension: Error: Requested extension com.adobe.Vibration is not supported for MacOS-x86.
This is because desktop isn't supported by the ANE. I am looking for an efficient way of being able to test the rest of my app on desktop and have it include vibration functionality when deploying on my device. I don't want to have to manually remove the ANE each time I test the app on my desktop and add it each time I deploy to my device. Could I, for example, somehow add 'fake' desktop support to the ANE? To clarify, I don't need it to do anything on desktop, I just want to be able to test the rest of my app.

Portal Runtime Error When Previewing the BI Report iViews

Hi Experts,
I hope this is the right place for my issue. I have an issue previewing the BI reports that I have created as the iViews and have put them in the portal. I am able to preview them in the BW/BI server successfully. Then I have created them in another server and got the portal runtime error. There are 2 different servers that I am working on, and there is no single sign on support on these servers.

I check the permission, and everything has been set up as the BW/BI server (Built-in Group Everyone). I still got the portal runtime error. There is another folder of BI report iViews that someone else has created before. When I preview it, it prompts me with the NetWeaver Log in page. Then it opens the BI report iView properly. Unfortunately, it will not prompt the log in page on my own BI report iViews that I have created. Instead, it shows the portal runtime error page. Any ideas how can I solve this?

Hello,
We have imported Business Package for CRM 4.0 (60.2) into EP 6.0 (Version: 6.0.19.0.0) according to the installation guide(InstGuide_EN_CRM40_502.pdf). We have also defined SAP_CRM and SAP_R3 Systems in Portal System Landscape Editor. And we have also set the permissions for the user with which we are logged in on the "Portal Content->Migrated Content->EP 5.0" folder with "Read" permission and checked the "End User" option.
Now when we do a test preview for "Portal Content->Migrated Content->EP 5.0->iViews->SAP CRM 4.0: Sales->Activities" iView in PCD i get Portal Runtime Error in a new window with following information:

Page not found error when navigating in Iview application

Hi,
I have developed an application,and I am able to view a sucessfull preview of the Page as well.There are htmlb links on the page.When clicked,they navigate to the next jsp page.This iview was assigned to a user,and the portal was logged in though a local ip address.The application works fine.
In trying to access the portal though an external Url,the initial page comes up perfectly fine.However the next page,does not come up,when a link on the first page is clicked.I get initially a popup with the message:
"This page contains both Secure and Non secure Items
.Do you want to display the non secure Items."
The options on the Popup were yes,no,More Info.
When I clicked yes then I get the display page not found error.The error is:
" The page cannot be found

This problem occurs only to a particular user.If I add the role to another user,and view the iview I am able to navigate without problem(there is no popup as well).Even for this User,it is happening only when,I access through extrenal url,not when I access the portal through the local IP Address.

This is a further Update.The problem described above has something to do with the roles.When some roles(cusom) are assigned the navigation occurs.Can you please let me know if there is any role related configuration with SSL.

When i am click on preview button in crystal report it show an error:

It looks like there is mismatch SP level version in AS JAVA and AS ABAP. For Bi system, ABAP _ JAVA must be in the same SP level.

Error when running EP5 iView on EP6

Hi all. We have to migrate quickly from EP5 SP3 to EP6 SP9. We have a number of custom coded iViews which use the deprecated jcoclient methods.
From the Netweaver developers studio we import and export a Java iView thats running fine on our EP5 SP3 portal and get the following error while trying to preview it on EP6 SP9.

Is it possible to do what we are trying to do with basic EP5 JCO (non pooling) iviews? Will this work if the iview uses JCO Pooling?

Connection error when previewing video

I imported a video into CP6. I can see it in the timeline and when I play the slide I can view the video, but when I try to preview it in a browser I get a popup that states Connection Error.
Any ideas?
