ERROR when Runing Maps in ORACLE WORKFLOW

Hi All,
When running a mapping from owb in owf, some times I am receiving the following error massages, and the flow fails:
RPE-1009-ABORTED_DUE_TO_SYSTEM_FAILURE: Completion of this task could not be completed due to an earlier system failure.
RPE-1008-RECOVERY_IN_PROGRESS: Recovery of this request is in progress.
What can I do to avoid this problem?

DIDIf you need to manage more than one database, you will need to look at Grid Control. I sense that you want the 10g version of the 9i Oracle Enterprise Manager and that is Grid Control. Database Control only allows you to manage one database and it creates its own repository. The emca command is used to repair this repository...do emca -help i believe to get more help.
But look at the Grid Control installation..when you install it, it will create a repository similar to 9i etc...You will have tools like AWR for statistics gathering, you can add nodes to it by installing management agents on the different nodes.

Lots of different errors when using Maps on Linux, help?

I'm trying to use Maps in one of my programs, but for some reason I get all sorts of different errors when compiling.
I've tried both my own (very) simple tests of it and also I've copied and pasted the code straight out of the official tutorials.
//Edit: Ok, I've tried it on several different IDEs, and Netbeans (on both Linux and Windows) and JCreator(on Windows) both work now for whatever reason. The only one I still have problems with is below.
Here some of the errors I get, and nothing is making sense.
On a Linux machine, using a simple IDE (Geany):
MapTest.java:6: not a statement
Map<String, Integer> m = new TreeMap<String, Integer>();
^
MapTest.java:6: ';' expected
Map<String, Integer> m = new TreeMap<String, Integer>();
I don't know why it isn't working.

What do IDEs have to do with this? It's a compiler error.
Do you import java.util.Map and java.util.TreeMap?
Are you using JDK 5 or higher? Generics didn't appear in Java until JDK 5.

I am trying to connect to the database using OCI and its tns name. Also right now I'm just using the tomcat bundled in the netbeans ide.
Anyone have any ideas on what's wrong?

Why not use a type IV JDBC driver, available forfree download from Oracle? No
need for any DLL then.The standard Oracle driver comes with "oci" and
"thin" drivers.
Thin driver is 100% java.
oci driver uses the dlls.
What version of Oracle are you using? I am guessing
10?
Have you got Oracle Client installed on this machine?
(Stupid question I know)
What URL connection string are you using?
Does the "thin" driver work? ie url
"jdbc:oracle:thin:@[IP_ADDRESS]:[PORT]:[SID]"

I am getting the below error, when I try to generate wsdl in oracle apps r12.1.3 from Integrated SOA gateway,
Service Provider Access resulted in exception 'oracle.apps.fnd.soa.util.SOAException: ServiceGenerationError: ServiceGenerationError: Error in Service GenerationJ2T-120, ERROR: Illegal option "-plsqlname=objectid" ignored' when attempting to perform 'GENERATE'. Please view Service Provider logs for more details

Pl Make sure that you have applied all the mandatory patches for your R12 version
as mentioned in metalink note :

IF applied and still you are facing issues, proceed with below steps
Edit the following file with the password that you have in DB with clear text for ASADMIN as "!MyPassw0rd" - Please note the "!" before the real password.
$ORA_CONFIG_HOME/10.1.3/j2ee/oafm/config/system-jazn-data.xml
The password can be verified as:
select fnd_web_sec.validate_login('ASADMIN','MyPassw0rd') from dual;
If password is not known the change the password as:
       1. Log on to Oracle E-Business Suite using sysadmin/sysadmin.
         2. Select the User Management responsibility in the Navigator.
         3. Click the Users link from the navigation menu to open the User Maintenance window.
         4. Locate 'ASADMIN' user by entering information in the search area to retrieve the 'ASADMIN' user.
         5. Click the Update icon next to the ASADMIN user to open the Update User window.
         6. Remove the Active To date field and click Apply.
         7. Click the Reset Password icon next to the ASADMIN user to open the Reset Password window.
         8. Enter new password twice and click Submit.
Restart the OAFM
cd $ADMIN_SCRIPTS_HOME
./adoafmctl.sh stop
./adoafmctl.sh start
./adoacorectl.sh stop
./adoacorectl.sh start
Then check the status by:
./adopmnctl.sh status
Now test the SOA Gateway page again:
http://<Host>:<Port>/webservices/SOAProvider/?testquery
and it should return "TEST RESPONSE".
Now try to Generate and deploy the WSDL

Iu2019m trying to create a new connection to an oracledb but keep getting the error u201Cdbd_oci file, specified procedure could not be foundu201D.
Following is the installed software;
u2022     Oracle 10g
u2022     Oracle client 10g running on my desktop
u2022     Edge BI series ver 3.1 with data integration
u2022     Desktop running Windows 7 professional
I have defined a DSN entry that connects to the oracle DB and it works fine.

This is all quite strange, I did uninstall the edge client earlier and re-installed it, hence my edge client installtion is after the oracle client installation. The environment path have the correct location for oracle, yet I get the error message.
However, my oracle client installation is for Windows NT though my laptop is running Windows 7 professional. The Oracle application runs perfectly well despite having an NT installation.
Any ideas?

Do you think it might be a bug? I mean, External Tables and Pivot operator may become way too difficult for Oracle to handle....
Self-Deadlocks occurs when a session try to get a lock on a resource that is already locked by this session. It also depends on the DB version you are using (there was a Bug in releases earlier than 9i). Is this mapping altering any object (maybe, disabling/enabling indexes) before/after load? If so, try to remove this part of the code and test.
Also check if this Mapping has circular references to invalid objects. That could cause this error. Use query bellow to check:

This used to work on 9.0.4. I notice that the 'sqlplus_exec_template' has changed slightly since 904. The 'l_task_type' variable is now (in 9.2) declared varchar2, when it used to be number (in 904). The variable is then used as parameter to 'wb_rt_api_exec.open(l_task_type,....' which expects the parameter to be number (!?). Am I missing something here?

You get more objects then expected so there are 2 or more objects with the same name.
This is mostly caused if you have a process flow that has the same name as for example a mapping. Check and make sure all of these have unique names.

Inconsistent State Error when running DataMiner OBE sample workflows

In a test environment, running Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0 - 64bit Production and using SQL Developer Client 3.0.0.4
and Data Miner 11.2.0.1.10.109. ,

I setup my test user and imported the OBE workflows. When I try to Run any of the components, I get an error : Inconsistent State - Finished job detected but unable to reload the editor.

I downloaded a later version and this has resolved the issue.

Removed the old repository and installed the new updated and the issue was resolved.
