Error when splitting Group membership

Hi all,
We are implementing SAP CRM 7.0 EHP3.
I'm having issues with the Split functionality in CRM. I have configured the Loyalty program, memberships, members and cards. The membership type that we use is "GROUP" membership which means one membership for multiple members.
I have a membership with 3 assigned members and when I try to split one of the members, I'm getting an error. After doing some debugging, it looks like the program is looking for "Related memberships" which to me is wrong. This is for "Shared" memberships. I wonder if there is Note or something that we need to apply.
Can anyone help me and let me know if we are doing something wrong?
Regards
Jacques

Hi Jacques,
I have created the split membership successfully as per the split ratio.
I have followed below steps:
1) Identify a Standard membership with Single member assigned (for ex: membership Id -4)
with Point balance as - 450 points
2) Assign another member to membership ID - 4 and click on save
3) So standard membership turns to Group membership
4) Now Click on Split membership, on the new screen choose newly added member in the drop down.
5) Choose Split ratio for example 60/40
6) Click on split membership, now system will create a new membership( Standard membership)
This will show point balance as 180 points
I hope this helps.
Regards
Pramod

Do you already know this error in JAG when generating groups that contain items with display type 'display field'? Or am I doing anything wrong?

    Toine,
Thanks for reporting, we should remove displayField from the list of dislay types. If you want a read-only field in 10.1.3, you can choose the proper display type, and then set "Insert Allowed" and "Update Allowed" properties to false.

  • Outlook error when collapsing groups on TS - specific users only - cleanviews and new profile didn't help.

We have a Citrix environment for app publishing.
Office 2007 is installed, and the users use the published outlook 2007.
For some users only(not all users), when they arrange by "from" and in-groups they get an error when they try and collapse groups.
Error is "There are no items to show in this view".
It does not affect all users.
    Troubleshooting attempted:
Recreated user's profile. - No change
    Made user an administrator
    -Logged in locally
-ran outlook in safe-mode -> no change.
    -ran cleanviews -> no change
There were no policies applied at the time, and there are no user specific configurations.
I can't find any other articles which might be pertinent. How should I troubleshoot this?

    Hi,
One more thing you can try is to run Office Configuration Analyzer Tool to find if there is any error of the installation.
The tool provides a detailed report of your installed Office programs. This report includes many parameters about your Office program configuration. It also highlights known problems that are found when OffCAT scans your computer.

  • XSLT List View Web Part Error when Using Group By

I have a Tasks List created a tasks list in SharePoint.  The Tasks (normal OOTB template) list works fine in the normal view, however, I have created an XSLT ListView Web Part that points to this tasks list.  When I set the web part to display
a view with a "Group By" rule, it returns an error:
"Attempted to use an object that has ceased to exist. (Exception from HRESULT:
    0x80030102 (STG_E_REVERTED))
The list has just over 1000 items and the threshold is set to 5000, I have tried indexing the column that I am "grouping by" just in case and that has not worked.
Has anyone experienced this issue before?  If so, what steps can be done to display the XSLT List View Web Part properly?

Thank you for the response.  I tried the above link and it didn't seem to solve the issue; in fact, when I clicked on Common Control Tasks there wasn't any Data View Tasks such Filter and Sort & Group.
Perhaps some more information would shed light on a solution. I created a list template including content of the task list in question. I  was able to display the new list in an XSLT List View Web part with grouping enabled.  However, I noticed that
the "Related Content" column was completely empty (it was there, it just had no data in each row).  What is the source of this Related Content? I know it is a system column that appears when Workflows generate the item in the list but could it be the
reason for the Web part being unable to display with groupings?

  • Error when syncing groups

I've got a test install of Vibe, and when I try to do an LDAP sync, with the option to automatically create group profiles, I get an error in catalina.out:

  • Unexpected Error when creating groups

    Hello All!
    Perhaps someone here can help:
-Recently upgraded our DC's from Win2003r2 to Win2008r2 and extended the schema, dc promo went as expected, things working okay.
-Running 10.8 server here; our DNS admittedly a bit messy so rather than use deploy studio I've been using ML Server for netrestores when imaging machines.  It's been working great, but I'd like to manage the labs with more granularity by using Profile Manager, so:
-Server is bound to our AD and I've enabled OD for profile management
-Server sees AD objects okay, but certain things aren't quite right....for example, its sees our 'students' group, but it's empty (figures, the most important one).  Other OUs are populated correctly (like faculty, or staff).
-When attempting to create a new computer group from within Workgroup Manager, I get the following error:
"Error of type eDSInvalidRecordType (-14130) on line 4451 of /SourceCache/WorkgroupManager/WorkgroupManager-409/PMMUGMainView.mm"
I have no idea what this means.  I am a domain admin and i've authenticated as such within both the server app and workgroup manager.
If anyone can steer me in the right direction so I can use Workgroup manager to manage the labs rather than building those prefs into the image prior to rollout that would be a big help.
Bonus points if you can help me figure out why certain groups don't populate.
Cheers and thanks to anyone kind enough to share their 2 cents!

Hi I am also experiencing this problem did you manage to find a solution?
    Thank you

  • Error when sending group e-mail

I have a group contact list set up on my iPad but when I send an e-mail I get a message back saying the first person on my list didn't receive the e-mail but when I checked with the person they actually did receive it.  Why am i getting this error?

    Hi Hongyan,
I have gone through the note and tried to make the change to my function module but it did not work.
Some time it still fails. I really do not understand the probelem in it. Enclosed below is a brief decription of the messsge ' STILL NO ENTRY IN QUEUE'..
    <u><b>Definition</b></u>
A message was sent from the application. The current status of the message is 'Waiting'. However, no entry exist (yet) in the queue.
    <u><b>Use</b></u>
This can be a normal interim status of a sent message. Preparations for entering the message in the queue for the SAPconnect send process are complete. As soon as the Persistence Service has put the message into the corresponding database table for the queue, the status changes to 'Waiting'.
If this status stays the same for too long, an inconsistent state exists. In many cases, the cause of this lies with the sending application. The Persistence Service first writes the data to the database when the application has set an explicit Commit Work. If this is missing, then the message is not put into the queue and is not recorded by the SAPconnect send process. On the send request overview, you can put the message in the queue again using retry, but you must look for the cause of the problem in the sending application itself.
Another cause of the problem may be that the corresponding entry in the queue was deleted manually before the send process recorded the message.
I request you to go through this and suggest me for a possible solution.
    Thanks & regards,
    Vamsi Krishna P.

  • OWA 2010 error when access Groups address list

    Exchange 2010 SP2
We use multiple ABPs for different OUs (which is different subordinates).
I found strange error in ONE subordinate.
Users in there? when they try to access an entry in Group list receive an error:
    "Access is denied."
" ! The Active Directory resource couldn't be accessed. This may be because the Active Directory object doesn't exist or the object has become corrupted, or because you don't have the correct permissions. "
    Any ideas?
    UPD1.:
Found trouble - GAL policy didn't work correctly, so OUs GAL wasn,t wrote into AD attribute
    showInAddressBook
Cure: manually add record about GAL into this attribute.
Same trouble with distr.groups not resolved YET

    Hi,
From your description, I recommend you check the permission of the GAL via ADSIEdit.
    Navigate to CN=Configuration, CN=Services, CN=Microsoft Exchange, CN=YOUR-ORG,  CN=Address List Container CN=All Global Address Lists
On the right hand side you will now see your Global Address List. Right Click it and select properties then the security tab. Please check if there is deny to read rights for users, if yes, please uncheck it and test again.
    Hope it helps.

  • Error when splitting a Table into two columns - Please help!

    Hi!
I have created a table in which I have created a header which has been split into 3 parts conisting of 2 columns. These all work fine. However, when I try to split the row below the header row into 2 columns, it does so but, in a way, connects the line inbetween the two columns with the line inbetween the two columns above and will not allow me to move it left or right by manually changing specs or dragging the line. Please help! (I'm using CS5 by the way!) Thank you!

I suggest you begin with a pre-built CSS Layout.  DW has several to help jump start your projects.  Go to File > New Blank Page > HTML.  Select a layout from the 3rd panel and hit CREATE.  See screenshot.
Save this layout as test.html and begin building your prototype page saving and validating code often during your work sessions.

  • On Prem Lync - Enable federation for "Lync Online" causes presence fail and gives error when creating groups

    Hi all,
We have had Lync on premise for a long time, and have recently added Office 365 Business Premium Plan because we wanted Cloud exchange and SharePoint.
I have found that on our on prem Lync, when we enable federation for "Lync Online" it cause our presence to intermittently flick on and off, and we are unable to create groups in our Lync Client. We get the message "unable to create a group

We are also not able to federate with Office365 hosted Lync Online clients.
This seems to be a bug between Office365 plans that have hosted lync licenses and on prem Lync. Has anyone found the
What I need to do is disable office365 Lync, and I have tried to do that in every location I can find (DNS/User settings), but I still have this issue.
Has anyone come across this issue and found a fix?
    Simon.

    Hi,
Did you do a Lync Hybrid environment or just make federation with Lync Online?
Please double check if there is any wrong configuration for federation with Lync online environment. You can refer to the following steps in the link below of “Configure federation support for a Lync Online domain in Lync Server 2013”:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh202166.aspx
Then make sure CMS replication update to the latest status.
If the issue persists, check if Lync Server update the latest version. If not, update it and then test again.

  • Group Membership Update Task -AD Connector 11g

    OIM 11g R2:
When will Group Membership Update task be triggered for a user? Will this get triggered when a Entitlement associated to a user is updated (entitlement metadata) -How will OIM identify that it is an update to the existing Entitlement and that User is associated with?
This is my understanding on other group related OOTB tasks:
Insert Group Membership will be triggered when a new entitlement  is added to the user
Delete Group Membership will be triggered when a Entitlement is removed
    Thanks in advance.

If entitlement display name is updated in OIM then it also get updated in provisioned resource profile for all users who are associated with the entitlement but it does not insert 'Group Update' task.
If entitlement - group name is changed in target system them OIM treats this change as a completely new and does not update it for the existing associated users.
    Thanks,
    Pallavi

  • Weblogic 10.3.0 -  Security Violation when Group Membership Lookup enabled

    Dear Admins,
We're running a Weblogic 10.3.0 cluster with our own software deployed.
We're using SQL authentication (JDBC to Oracle DB) to authenticate users.
Recently we've been tuning our WL cluster to improve performance, and have enabled Group Membership Lookup Hierarchy Caching.
Sometimes users log into our application and get inssuficient rights (or some other error). This appears to happen at random. Most of the times they can log in without problems.
We determined it's not something to do with the cluster, although it can happen on one node and the other node will work as normal.
In the Managed server we see this error (with test user):
Managed7Server.out00011:java.rmi.AccessException: [EJB:010160]Security Violation: User: 'test' has insufficient permission to access EJB: type=<ejb>, application=leanapps, module=process_general.jar, ejb=LaLifeProcessController,
    method=create, methodInterface=Home, signature={}.
When we disable Group Membership Lookup Hierarchy Caching, this error never occurs.
Our settings (Security Realms -> myrealm -> Providers -> SQL Authenticator -> Performance):
Max Group Hierarchies In Cache: 5000 (we have approx. 2000 groups)
    Group Hierarchy Cache TTL: 3600
    provider specific settings :
    Group Membership Searching: unlimited
Max Group Membership Search Level: 0
Also in Myrealm -> Performance we have set :
    Enable WebLogic Principal Validator Cache
Max WebLogic Principals In Cache: 5000
If we put the TTL really low (default 60 seconds), the error hardly ever occurs. But we want to have cache that lasts longer then one minute.
This might be a bug, as we have other clusters running on WL 10.3.5, 12c where we use the same cache settings. This issue does not occur there.
I'm more then willing to provide more info or config files
