ORA-01086: savepoint 'BO_SP' never establishedpoints to a missing or invalid ps_txn table where such save points are normally stored. Check your configuration (DB which you connect to) if you find the ps_txn table in there and that the user you use has the right to write into this table.
If you don't see the table then you have to create it (scripts for this are delivered together with jdev). Or ask the db admin to grants create table rights to your user.

Error while loading OS performance page
Hello all,
I have a 10.2 Grid Control on Solaris monitoring oracle 10R2 on Solaris SPARC.
I do not get the performance details in
Grid Cotrol -> Host-> +<Host Name>+ -> Performance Page
I get the below error and it displays all the charts with no data.
Error getting data for target . Exception: oracle.sysman.emSDK.emd.comm.MetricGetException: getConfigData: localtime: returned NULL: Permission denied Switching to the last 24 hrs view. Is it beacause that oracle agent cannot run some OS commands and hence no data ?
Could someone tell me which OS commands it tries ?
If so, i could tell my SA to grant that oracle agent user.
TIA,
J JHi JJ,
Please check whether Metalink Note 400408.1 helps to fix the issue.

I am working in a new enviorment and i am trying to save a report to the Crystal Server via the CMC. I am uploading the report from the objects tab and attempting to save to a folder. The report has 1 static defined parameter and that's it. When i click submit to save the report i receive the following error message: "There was an error while writing data back to the server: Failed to commit objects to server : Duplicate object name in the same folder." There is not a anothe report within the folder with that name. What could be causing this error message and equally important, what is the solution.hte message you received about duplicate user probably means something hadn't fully updated yet. Once it did then it worked...

Connection error while performing basic settings SOLMAN 4.0 SP12
Hi All,
We are currently facing a problem while performing Solution Manager 4.0 (SP12) basic configurations through the IMG Wizard. Within the "Initial Configuration Part I" section, an error while connecting to SAP is obtained (This is the full error message "Error creating communication to SAP Service and Support"). After checking at TX SM59, it was noticed that the RFC connections SAP-OSS y SAP-OSS-LIST-O01 (what are supposed to be created in previous steps by copying SAPOSS connection) were no created. We created them both manually (also tested) and everything was ok. We started the Wizard again, and the same error was obtained. However, it was noticed that the SAP-OSS RFC connection had been deleted. The system log shows the following:
00789 - Dialog work process No. 000 - XXXXXX - EQUIPO - 1 - SM_CONFIG_WZ - M_CONFIG_WZ_START - T - Transaction Problem - STSK
The same scenario occurs every time the above wizard is used.
It worth to mention that the SAPOSS connection works fine and also, just to perform a test, I was able to download a note correction through the SNOTE transaction.
Where should I check to see what is causing this connection error? Do I missing a previous configuration step?
Also, would be very helpful for us to get an step by step reference guide for SM configuration. We want to be sure we are no missing or mixed up anything.
Thanks so much for your help.

Why do you start configuration for SP12, although most current version is SolMan 7.0 EhP1 SPS19?
What scenarios / functions are you planning to use?

Although I can see the data coming is correct, but don't know why this error is coming.
I have seen for NULL values.
How can I see the detail log to trace the error?
Please help.
Thanks,
Himanshu TiwariHi,
You can login as system using SQLPlus and use the DBMS_SYSTEM.set_sql_trace_in_session procedure to set trace on another Discoverer session. This should establish if there is any database error occuring in the Discoverer session.

"Failed to perform requested action" error while importing table in P.Layer
HI
I have encountered an error while importing the table into physical layer of the repository. When I select the table and click the 'move the selected' button it is throwing this error "Failed to perform requested action". I didn't understand what does it mean, even it is not giving any error code but when I try to import other tables it is working fine. Please help me to solve this if someone has any idea. Thanks.Hi Srinivas,
I think you want to do JDBC lookup.. you must have created the JDBC receiver communication channel. As your communication channel is correct and still you are getting Table not found error.. Check following steps.
- Check that your Communication channel is activated and working fine.
- Check that the ID which you are using in JDBC receiver is having proper authorization to import the table definition.
Just check with all authorization.
I think the problem is with insufficient authorization to User ID used on JDBC communication channel.
Thanks,

Commit error while transferring Sales order Document to GTS
Hello,
We faced a transfer error while transferring sales order document to GTS.
When I debugged the code function /SAPSLL/API_6800_SYNCH is called. In this function, /SAPSLL/CUHD_MAINTAIN_SINGLE is called with parameter lv_no_commit = 'X'. When I checked why its value is 'X', I saw that if the RFC destination and the current system are the same, then lv_no_commit = 'X', (means if the R3 and the GTS are in the same server, same client.) In debug mode I set the value of lv_no_commit to space, and then it works. It creates the GTS document.
We are also transferring billing documents and it works fine. When I checked what is the difference between transferring sales order document and transferring Billing document, I saw that in the transferring billing document there is another function is called /SAPSLL/API_6800_CSD_SYNCH, and it's calling parameters(in background, as seperate unit) are different from calling parameters of /SAPSLL/API_6800_SYNCH. You can see the difference below.
For sales document transfer :
CALL FUNCTION '/SAPSLL/API_6800_SYNCH'
DESTINATION cs_transfer-rfc_dest
For billing document transfer :
CALL FUNCTION '/SAPSLL/API_6800_CSD_SYNCH'
IN BACKGROUND TASK
DESTINATION cs_transfer-rfc_dest
AS SEPARATE UNIT
So my question is, do you think is it a sap standard program error, or is there any suitable settings in the customizing or SM59 to fix this error?
Thanks in advance
Serhat
Edited by: Serhat Dirihan on Jan 22, 2009 11:46 AMDear Serhat,
I don't think this is an RFC problem or an error. But you wrote:
When I checked why its value is 'X', I saw that if the RFC destination and the current system are the same, then lv_no_commit = 'X', (means if the R3 and the GTS are in the same server, same client.)
It is impossible to have GTS and R/3 on the same system and same client. At least the client should be different. So try to check why the call is performed like that.

thats your correct procedure - but NOT CORRECT ISSUE.
You should use bulk collect with limit clause and forall clause to do it faster!!! Or Merge clause. -
JCAActivationAgent::load - Error while performing endpoint activation:java.
Hi,
I am getting following error while deploying a BPEL process. This is very surprising because the process used to run fine until yesterday. Also for some time I was getting a funny error - the JDev was not able to "read" a wsdl file on local machine. I restarted the server, machine many times but it did not help. I do not have any proxies set and the file resides on my local harddrive.

If you have installed a patch to the server, please check that the bpelcClasspath domain property includes the patch classes.
Please help. Finally , I was able to redeploy the process. After comparing new files with old files I observed an activationAgents entry in bpel.xml, which was not present previously.

<activationAgent className="oracle.tip.adapter.fw.agent.jca.JCAActivationAgent" partnerLink="CallHomeFileUtility">

when I removed this from bpel.xml the process deployed successfully. Not sure when the <activationAgents> is added to bpel.xml

Error while performing Risk Analysis at user level for a cross system user
Dear All,
I am getting the below error, while performing the risk analysis at user level for a cross system (Oracle) user.
The error is as follows:
"ResourceException in method ConnectionFactoryImpl.getConnection(): com.sap.engine.services.connector.exceptions.BaseResourceException: Cannot get connection for 120 seconds. Possible reasons: 1) Connections are cached within SystemThread(can be any server service or any code invoked within SystemThread in the SAP J2EE Engine), 2) The pool size of adapter "SAPJ2EDB" is not enough according to the current load of the system or 3) The specified time to wait for connection is not enough according to the pool size and current load of the system. In case 1) the solution is to check for cached connections using the Connector Service list-conns command, in case 2) to increase the size of the pool and in case 3) to increase the time to wait for connection property. In case of application thread, there is an automatic mechanism which detects unclosed connections and unfinished transactions.RC:1
Can anyone please help.
