Hello;
Kind of hard without seeing everything but based on this :
channel ORA_AUX_DISK_1: ORA-19870: error while restoring backup piece /u01/PRBACKUP/0doahj1f_1_1
ORA-19505: failed to identify file "/u01/PRBACKUP/0doahj1f_1_1"
ORA-27041: unable to open file
Linux Error: 13: Permission deniedIf appears you have an OS permission on "/u01/PRBACKUP/" or the file is just missing.
If it helps here are my notes on this :

  • Error while duplicate database for standby

    Hello Guys,
    Both of my database are 10gR2 and Linux is the operating system.
    I am trying to create a standby database for my production database.
    I have matched the directory structure of primary and standby database and there is no conflict. Directory permissions are also set.
    After taking the rman backup from production database when i connect auxiliary database from production. I run this command to duplicate database and create standby database.
    rman
    set until sequence XXXX;
    duplicate target database for standby dorecover nofilenamecheck;

    Check the value for the parameter "COMPATIBLE" in the source and standby database instance parameter files.
    "COMPATIBLE" should be the same.
    See http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14239/create_ps.htm#i70517
    "... ensure the COMPATIBLE initialization parameter is set to the same value on both the primary and standby databases"

  • Error while configuring database for foundation service on EPM 11.1.2.1

    Hi,
    I have installed the foundation service and the database is Oracle. Before I tried to configue database for it, I created a tablespace naming HYPFS in Oracle and also I created a user HYPFS whose default tablespace is HYPFS. I gave the user CONNECT and RESOURCE role, the privilege is also enough as SYSDBA.
    In the configue panal, I entered the sid as orcl, the username is HYPFS and password *********, but I clicked the next step ,there came out an error. When I read the relavent log, the error is as folllows:
    [2012-05-22T14:34:18.718-12:00] [EPMREG] [ERROR] [EPMREG-11073] [oracle.EPMREG.REG] [tid: 35] [ecid: 0000JTrYrcZFs1apxKc9yW1Fj45I00000N,0] execute SQL INSERT INTO HSS_COMPONENT_PROPERTY_VALUES(PROPERTY_VALUE, PROPERTY_NAME, COMPONENT_ID) VALUES(?, ?, ?) error。

    Should these tables like HSS_* be created automatically? How comes out such kind of error? Does anyone have any idea? Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    How are you creating the tablespace and user?
    Name of the Tablespace and User should be in Capslock otherwise it gives issues
    Is it through SQL Plus or through the Web Console?
    Login to SQL Plus and try to execute the following query. I am assuming that oracle is installed on the C drive. The path of data file is valid only if it is on C drive
    CREATE SMALLFILE TABLESPACE "HYPFS1" DATAFILE 'C:\app\Administrator\oradata\orcl\HYPFS1' SIZE 100M REUSE AUTOEXTEND ON NEXT 100M MAXSIZE 32767M LOGGING EXTENT MANAGEMENT LOCAL SEGMENT SPACE MANAGEMENT AUTO DEFAULT NOCOMPRESS;After the tablespace is created provide with the following rights
    CREATE USER "HYPFS1" PROFILE "DEFAULT" IDENTIFIED BY "password" DEFAULT TABLESPACE "HYPFS1" TEMPORARY TABLESPACE "TEMP" ACCOUNT UNLOCK;
    GRANT UNLIMITED TABLESPACE TO "HYPFS1" WITH ADMIN OPTION;
    GRANT "CONNECT" TO "HYPFS1" WITH ADMIN OPTION;
    GRANT "DBA" TO "HYPFS1" WITH ADMIN OPTION;Then try to connect
    Database Type : Oracle's Driver(Thin)
    Server : localhost
    Port : 1521
    SID: orcl
    Username : Whatever username you have provided/HYPFS1
    Password : Password provided for the userand then try to connect.
    Thanks

    Database instance is on SQL 2000 SP3. ( I know it is out of support, But the customer is relutanct to upgrade)
    On Google search, i found below article which is best matching for this error
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/324321
    I have follows each step of troubleshooting. But still the issue persists.
    Step 1. The login does not exist == The login is very much exist in the domain as i am able to add the same domain id to other database instances
    Step 2. Duplicate security identifiers == i have used this query to find duplicate SID
    /*  SELECT name FROM syslogins WHERE sid = SUSER_SID ('YourDomain\YourLogin') */
    But there was only one row returned with create date of today's.
    Error while Assigning database level role (db_datareader) to SQL login (Domain Account)
    Step 3. Authentication failure == Domain is available. User is able to login on other servers via RDP connection.
    Step 4. Case sensitivity == Database collation is set to Case insensitivity. (CI)
    Other two 5. Local Accounts & 6. Name resolution == is not applicable to me.
    I tried other ways also.
    A. Creating login and providing permission in one go only = User account is not created
    B. Instead of GUI, use query to create login and provide required permission = Same error.
    Does anybody has faced any such situation

  • Error while selecting entity for composantEO

    Hi,
    Briefly, I do an example of displaying a list of components (and already it works properly), but when I added a link to the removal of components I have encountered an error
    Voila details
    function code delete
    public void deleteComposantMethod(String action,String param)
    System.out.println("Now we are inside deleteComposantMethod");
    System.out.println("we search composant with numcomp : "+param);
    ComposantVOImpl inst=getComposantVO1();
    Row row[]=inst.getAllRowsInRange();
    for(int i=0;i<row.length;i++)
    ComposantVORowImpl rowi=(ComposantVORowImpl)row;
    System.out.println("checking the composant ===> "+rowi.getNumcomp());
    if(param.equals(rowi.getNumcomp().toString()))
    try{
    rowi.remove();
    getOADBTransaction().commit();
    System.out.println("Deleting succes");
    catch(Exception ex)
    System.out.println("error : \n"+ex.getMessage());
    return;
    in the browser page component disapru it seems that it works correctly, but nothing changes at data base and voila the error message I get from embedder OC4J server log
    Application: FND, Message Name: FND_GENERIC_MESSAGE. Tokens: MESSAGE = oracle.jbo.DMLException: JBO-26080: Error while selecting entity for ComposantEO
    thanks
    Please note: although no board code and smiley buttons are shown, they are still usable.
    thanks

    Hi,
    for those who have encountered the same problem as me, you should check that the table name sql query is of the form Name_Schema.Name_Table.
    For this right click on the entity in the workspace> edit entity> Database Objects> Schema Objects and add the schema name before table name( Name_Schema.Name_Table).
    thanks,

  • "There was an error opening the database for the library "~/Pictures/Apert"

    Hey everyone,
    There's already another discussion thread about this at the link below, but the problem was never actually resolved. http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2343014&tstart=0&messageID=116 67261#11667261
    So I stumbled across this problem where Aperture 3 will display the following error when opening the image library.
    There was an error opening the database for the library “~[path]/Aperture Library.aplibrary”.
    One user suggested navigating to the actual library, and ⌘⌥-clicking the library to open it with the Aperture Library First Aid dialog. This however, did not work for me. I still received the error messages upon ⌘⌥-clicking the library.
    Here's a little hack I discovered for those of you still struggling. It doesn't fix the problem (leaves quite a large dent remaining actually), but hopefully someone can cultivate what little I discovered.
    ⌥-click Aperture (not the library)
    You should get to the library selection dialog box. Create a new library (bottom right corner) and remember the location of the new library. Put a few random pictures in the new one.
    Close Aperture
    ⌃-click both the old and new libraries and "Show Package Contents."
    Open the folder "Database" in both libraries.
    Cross check the folders to see if the old library is missing files that are in the new library. If your old library is missing some files (mine was), drag the missing files from the new library to the old one.
    Close both folders.
    ⌘⌥-click the old library.
    NOW, I got the Aperture Library First Aid dialog.
    Rebuild the library (3rd option)
    Wait a while.
    Aperture should open up with a folder named "Recovered Folder." Within this folder will be a SINGLE project named "Recovered Project" with ALL the images from your old library. There may be a few albums there too, but mine were all empty so it didn't matter in my case. To my knowledge, I lost all the adjustments I performed too.
    This is as far as I got. I have much of my library backed up, so I only needed to copy the most recent photos into the backup. I am NOT reorganizing and re-editing pictures in this one!
    As Aperture is a photo-organizing and photo-editing software, I understand that this by no means fixes the problem, since you lose all organization and editing. But it enables one to at least view the images lost. Hopefully a more knowledgable hacker else can figure out how to fix this completely. Unfortunately, I simply don't have the time to continue messing with this.
    Good luck to anyone else having issues! I understand the frustration you must be facing, its freaky having years worth of images simply disappear! After this incident, I'm definitely going to configure Time Machine to perform more frequent backups, since my latest backup was already a couple weeks old.

    Hey All,
    To my horror I have a similar problem and your solution didn't seem to help. To be specific, I get the error:
    "There was an error opening the database for the library “~/Pictures/Aperture Library_2.aplibrary" Everytime I try to run Aperture. This happened because my Apple computer shut off completely (due to bad battery) while importing photos from a memory card.
    I've tried "option + command" while clicking the aperture application and that gave me the same error message without any other option except to quit the program. I tried "option + command" and clicked the library package but that didn't work either. I tried creating a new aperture library, opening it which I did successfully, and then switching to my main one but that didn't work.
    Does anyone know away to get it to work again and have the edits still there?
    I'm a professional photographer and have thousands of photos or so in the library so this is distressing. The master files for the photos are located on an external hard drive, but I'm not sure how to access them in aperture. Are all the edits on the photographs are in the external hard drive or the aperture library. Is there any other way to resolve this issue without losing the edits?
    Does apple have a support number I can call? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

  • Error while creating database in classic appln

    Hi All,
    I am getting this error while creating database in classic application.
    com.hyperion.planning.olap.EssbaseException: Failed to create database, error code [%s] (1013221).
    Can anyone please let me know why I am getting it?
    Thanks in advance

    Can you check for a more specific error code in the Application log? There can be various reasons for this:
    1. For data storage and binary installation, Essbase supports the use of any disk array device mounted with a local file system interface (for example, NTFS, HPFS, JFS, VxFS, and UFS). A disk array mounted using NFS or CIFS is not supported.Use any disk array device mounted with a local file system interface (for example, NTFS, HPFS, JFS, VxFS, and UFS).
    2. Error occurs when deploy Planning application with double byte enabled. When the plan name is changed to English, deploy will be successful. This issue can be fixed by setting Correct Essbase ESSLANG system value.
    3. The Essbase User that creates the application and DB folders has default ACL rw-rw-rw which does not allow the essbase app to create files inside the folder.

  • Error while executing procedure for excel upload

    Hi Friends
    Pl. find below error while executing procedure for loading excel data. pl. verify and suggest for any changes in the format of data.

    If reading Excel as a database you would use "Access LSLINK"
    Access external means you are reading a file. I don't think it is possible to treat Excel as a file because the internal structure is complex.
    In the past I have saved the Excel as a CSV or as a Tab delimeted file. Then I use something like
    ACCESS External
      USE &filename
      BEGIN
        DESCRIPTION free ,
        Variables text 20
        Organisation text 20
        'July 2008' numeric 20
        'August 2008' numeric 20
        'September 2008' numeric 20

    I have an error like this:
    oracle.jbo.DMLException: JBO-26080: Error while selecting entity for ....
    It happened because my application was updating a few attributes in a ViewObject, And there was a message that showed:
    java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00904: "EI_PPN": invalid identifier.
    My entity object for the view object above has the EI_PPN attribute, and so as well as the table in the database. Why it keeps showing that EI_PPN is an invalid identifier?

    Is the column name also uppercase EI_PPN?

  • I downloaded Aperture and now I'm getting a "There was an error opening the database for Library " and I can't do anything else.  How can I fix it so I am once again able to run Aperture?

    I Downloaded Aperture from the Apple Website then proceeded to download all my picture's frp, IPhoto.  The very next time I opened Aperture an error poped up stating, There was an error opening the database for Library "blank".  I can't do anything with the program but hit the cancel buttom which closes the program.  How do I fix it?

    Is "blank" the name of your Aperture Library? If not, then Aperture is pointing to the wrong Library. Hold down the option (⌥) key while you launch Aperture by clicking it in the Applications Folder. Then select the correct library and press the "choose" button.
    If that does not help, try to repair your library:
    Locate Aperture library in Finder. Holding down the keys option (⌥) +command (⌘) and double click on Aperture Library to show the First Aid dialogue:
    Then try to start Aperture again.  If that also should fail, try the other steps in Aperture 3: Troubleshooting Basics: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3805

  • Error message "There was an error opening the database for the library"

    I am getting the following error when I try to open my Aperture today: "There was an error opening the database for the library “/Users/xyz/Pictures/Aperture Trial Library.aplibrary”".
    I tried doing Option-Cmd while double clicking Aperture, but I can't get to the restore screen.  I also tried to use Time Machine to restore the library and am still getting the error.  Is there a different way to get to the restore screen??

    Someone posted in another thread that they needed to create a new library and import the old one in.

  • I can not open aperture. Following message appears: There was an error opening the database for the library.

    I can't open aperure. Following message appears: There was an error opening the database for library.

    Try starting Aperture while holding down the command and option keys. This will open the library first aid window. Select library repair, when it is finished the library should open.
