Error while importing the whole app

Hi
I am trying to import a whole application and getting GET_BLOCK_ERROR. Many of the pages in the app contains Dynamic actions. Learnt that it causes error while importing.

With an issue like this you have to provide the Oracle ver. the source and target Apex versions and whether you are upgrading or just exp&imp to same ver. If source&target versions are same then the issue might be due to missing resource files you didn't include also make sure you have in place all required DB objects....hope that help.

Error while importing the user Records through SCC7

Hi Basis Gurus,
We are doing the post DB Refresh Activities for a Sandbox .
Refresh is done from D21 to S21.
We are stuckup with an error while importing the user Records(scc7).
The exported user records request from D21 is dumped in the trans directory of S38 and imported in to S21 using TP commands at O/S level. The import is done successfully( RC 4 with warnings).
But now when we run SCC7 (post import activities) in the background the process is getting cancelled right in the begining.
Error Occured in SCC3 log
Table logging disabled in program RSCLXCOP by user SAP*"
R/3 Version is 4.6C OS:AIX5.3

Hey Sitaram,
I looks like you have incorrect parameters of client copy in the S21 system.
You can change the parameters in S21 system,
by executing report RSCLXCOP (via transaction SE38 or SA38) in S21.
Search parameters that related to table logging/sap*

When you perform a bulk load, you basically tell SQL Server to execute a command local to the SQL server. What that means is that if you pass it a parameter that says load the file :
C:\Hyperion\products\FinancialDataQuality\Mineapp\Test2\Inbox\mine\load_demo2.txt
SQL Server is going to look on it's C drive for the file.
Unless you have SQL Server running on the FDM server, this is going to fail obviously.
The 'right' thing to do is setup your FDM app using a share name. (i.e. \\FDMSERVER\FDMAPPS\Mineapp instead of c:\Hyperion\products\FinancialDataQuality\Mineapp).
If you are relatively handy with FDM, there is a config file (in XML) that has the path information for the apps and you just need to change it from the hardcoded C drive reference to the share you create.)
Your other option is to NOT load the fiels as bulk. If you have a lot of large data files being loaded, this would be a bad idea. If you have relatively small load files every month and not a lot of users on the system, this may not impact performance. I would update the path information if it were me.

Hi saran,
Check the source system connectivity of the Quality system. Also check whether you have transported the datasources related to those objects that you transported from DEV to QAS.
First you need to transport the Datasources created in R/3 and then replicate them in QAS/Prod and then transport the objects in BW from DEV to QAS/Prod.
Check all these things and if still the problem persists... Refer to the below threads which may help u...

Sequence tag error while importing the SSL certificate into ".keystore" fil

I have created the ".keystore " file successfully and also imported the "root.cer".
but while importing the SSL certificate it says like

Hi,
I resolved this error by making it sure that there are no extra spaces or unwanted caracter copied while copying the certificate response from the CA. Make sure you are copying the certificate response properly. In my case, some extra space was getting copied so after re-copyinf it properly, it worked.

Error while importing the export in new environment

I have getting AIP-11052: Writing following objects: Transport Protocol Parameter failed due to following constraint violation: TRANSPORTPROTOCOLPARAMETER_UK. UNIQUE CONSTRAINT VIOLATION
while importing the export. Has anyone encountered this issue? or Can anyone provide pointers as to why this might be occuring?

Hello Dipal,
The erros seems to be because of some UNIQUE key constraint issue while importing the export. This may be due to some conflicting import data which is causing this voilation. If it is a possibility, please purge the entire repository and have a clean import or else please analyse the UI log to find some more details.

Error while importing the database of Oracle 10.2g to MaxDB - DB Migration

We are testing the data migration from Oracle 10.2g to MaxDB 7.6. First i have exported the oracle database without any errors. But while importing to MaxDB i am getting error as below,

Hi,
it is not astonishing that the error occurs every time you try this create table statement.
A table with this name already exists. And error -955 tells us exactly this.
What to do?
As I do not know if there is data in this table and/or if there are views / other database objects
using this table, I cannot decide, if dropping this table would be a good idea.
But what I do not understand is, why during one (?) loading in a clean (?) database this
table is tried to create more than once. Or was the database you are loading into not clean,
fresh and empty? Then it will happen that not only this table, but some others will result in an error
because they exist already.

Error while importing the epa file..help needed urgently..

I am facing a severe problem, I have developed a portal application, designed the pages, iViews roles etc and exported to a file and later downloaded the epa file.
For testing purpose, I deleted my content folder of the pages and iViews from the content administration. But when i tried to import the file, I am getting an error message
" Error extracting the package file. Check the log files for details. "
When i lokked the log file, i found the exception as
" [com.sapportals.portal.transport.ui.ImportComponent] Error while extracting EP6.0 package C:

and below the erro i found an exception message as "error in opening zip file"
When i tried to extract the file using winzip, I can extract it with out any problem..
Can you please tell me how this happened?

Well, I have solved the problem. But I don't know whether it will be the correct technical way.. Because i have to solve the same under a very little time constraint. The solution is given below,
I unzipped the epa file which i have downloaded using winzip. inside the extracted file, i found a zip file with the same file name and extension. when i uploaded that file, it worked fine with out any problem. I tried the same many times. and each time i got the same results.
Please try this if you are still facing the problem..
