Error while installing NetWeaver ABAP 7.0 Trial (2008 version) in Windows 7

Hi,
My Sys config is :
Windows 7
1.5 GB RAM
1.6 GHz Processor
250 GB HDD - Providing 50 GB partition for the SAP NetWeaver ABAP 7.0 Trial installation.
After installing the J2E 1.4 & configuring the environment variables, MS loopback adapter......I started the SAP installation, it said the installation can't run in GUI mode....start in "-console" or "-silent".
Then I started the installation in "-CONSOLE" mode......it asked for paths .... then installation started.....after 10 minutes, it haulted with following error :

The Java troubleshooting guide http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/dc49a7fb-0701-0010-88bf-f45221a97d15&overridelayout=true has some suggested solutions or trouble shooting steps for the MOS-01011 error - starting on page 19.
I also noticed that you only have 1.5GB of RAM but minimum requirement states 2GB, could be related, could not. Have never tried to install CE with less than 2GB of RAM http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/downloads?rid=/library/uuid/a0a6bd7b-3dfc-2c10-eb95-aae0f777d4ab ;-).

ERROR while installing Netweaver CE ???

Hi,
I have been trying to install a trial version of NWDS CE 7.1 SP3.

While installing this instance of SAP, I came across the following error.

"Unable to add account WinNT://S-1-5-21-2852108815-686089182-94734287-1029 to group WinNT://<domain name>/<computer name>/SAP_LocalAdmin. A new member could not be added to a local group because the member has the wrong account type."

The OS under use for this purpose is "Windows XP SP2".

Can anyone please help me to deal with this problem.

Hi,
we're installing NetWeaver 7.0 Java+ABAP with PI under Solaris 10 with an Oracle DB. The server has 16GB of RAM.
In phase 21 (Start instance) we get the following error:

When I try to install Visual Studio Express 2013 with Update 4 for Windows Desktop, I

I am trying to install the Netweaver SP16 but in vain. I am struck at the 11thphase(DataBase instance Creation) I had installed the J2sdk correct version which is requried. I tried five times but could not succeed.

Error while installing MS Project Server 2013(trial) on Sharepoint 2013(CAL)

My problem is that I get the following error:
trial editions and licensed editions of SharePoint, Project Server, and Office Web Apps products may not be installed on the same server
when I try to install MS Project Server 2013(180 days-evaluation) over a Sharepoint 2013(MAPS license).
What does exactly this error say?
Do I need to have Sharepoint and MS Project Server with same type of license?
If so, I suppose I'll have to remove Sharepoint(MAPS) and install a 180 days-evaluation Sharepoint. Will this re-installation be acceptable or I'll get some license type incompatibility issues?

Hello. You are correct, you will need to have the same license types either both trials or both licensed. Uninstalling/ reinstalling with trials should work fine or build another trial farm. Paul

DBConnect Error while installing SAP ABAP Engine DBInstance

My environment is as follows
Windows 2003 (SP1) Server
SQL Server 2000 (SP3 + hotfix + unicodecp850bin2)
SAP XI 3.0 Installation
Central Instance Installation was successful and trying to install DB Instance but somehow all scripts throwing same error DBConnect rc=256 DBError rc=20;
Are there any special setup needed for sql server user setup. I am using same windows authentication for sqlserver admin

Patch sql server to sp4 ( 8.00.2040).
Also do you have a named instance of sql server?

Uninstall it and try new installation using sapserver.cmd script, if you will see many error .... then new windows installation will help you )) Next time before press on SETUP.EXE read any guides like "instguide" for your SAP release.

You say you downloaded 10202_zlinux, is IBM Linux on System z really your OS and platform? Not impossible,of course,but most Linux systems run on x86. Since it's not a old bash version, I think you have the wrong software.

I am getting following error while installing SAP Netweaver 7.1 CE Java Trial.
