Error while opening Jolt Administration Manager
Hi..
Am using Tuxedo10 R3 on AIX server..
Am trying to use Jolt Admin Console using RE.html..
But am getting this error:
bea.jolt.SessionException: Cannot connect to any //<servername>:<portnumber>.
Reason:NwHdlr: Cannot get address by name.
Below mention is the java version which am using current:
java version "1.6.0"
Can anyone help me in this??
Thanks in advance..
Hi Todd,
The Simpapp Servlet is running on WebLogic Server hosted on the Server. So my understanding is that since the Servlet is working fine JSL & JSH are working fine and listenning is happening through the port. We are accesing the application from a remote PC.
We have the following Java Version:
IBM J9 VM (build 2.4, J2RE 1.6.0 IBM J9 2.4 AIX ppc-32 jvmap3260-20090215_29883 (JIT enabled, AOT enabled)
Since this is the latest Java version for AIX it should support Applet.
I issue the command appletviewer RE.html the Applet start up but when I pass my credentials it throws the error which I specified.
should some access be granted for the Applet to use the port?? And will the ServerName parameter be the default name of the server or can we change it anywhere in the UBBCONFIG??
Thanks..

Error while opening MDM Data Manager
Hi,
We are getting the following error while trying to open Data manager on our repository.
"Error Initializing Attributes for table Taxonomy
Application will exit
Already exists"
mds Version 5.5.42.90
MDM DataManager Ver5.5.42.90
The repository loads without any errors. The server log file too doesnt show any errors.
Is there anyway to fix this?Go to your MDM console, Login to repository and Unload repository first.
Then load with Update Indices.
This problem comes when you change anything in schema in console and then load repository with immediate option.
So always prefer to use update indices as accelator files will get updated and data comes from actual database.
If the problem still persists then Go again to console and check your repository for any fatal error. if errors come then repair repository and if not come then also repair.
Then load with update indices.
Hope it will help you.

Getting below error while opening query in bex 3.5x
Dear Guru's
I am getting below error while opening query in bex 3.5x
The following object were not found when accesing the server .
Press repair to correct the problem (included parts of query deleted) press cancel to undo the last action.
Regards
KaranHi,
1) When a query administrator with the sufficient authorization (sap_all or the * authorization for the field in the authorization object) is creating the query in query designer including the 'attributes' which are not visible with the 'normal' authorizations, the query will not list the columns in the output when it is executed by the normal user.
2) so create an authorization object for each of these attributes with * (full authorization)

Currently i am getting this error and when i am click on cancel (or ok) getting the blank page. I am not able to view the backup logs form Maxdb.
Please give me some hint to resolve this.
Regards,
Nagendra.Hi,
Use below procedure
1. Go to /sapdb/SRD/data/wrk
2. cp -rp dbm_knl dbm_knl_OLD
3. vi +<Line in which the corruption occured> dbm.knl
see there must be a corruption in the given line and it will specified with a green color
delete that part and make the format as per the above line
4. save the file
5. execute the procedure again from Database studio or Database Manager
(Note: Make sure that you have taken the backup first of dbm.knl file Because any extra entry may cause another corruption)
(FYI : This file is only log file of successful backups and returns the return-code)

Error while opening document
Message no. SOFFICEINTEGRATION143
Diagnosis
An error occurred in the desktop application while opening a document.
Procedure
Check first whether you can insert a document from this desktop application as an embedded object in another application. The necessary menu item is usually 'Insert --> Object'. The application then lists all of the OLE document types. Choose the type corresponding to the desktop applciation. If the insertion fails, the error is in the desktop application itself.
This error has various causes. Often, it is caused by activating certain add-ins. Sometimes, the desktop application is wrongly installed. The error should not recur once you have disabled any add-ins or reinstalled the desktop application.
Procedure for System Administration
If you cannot solve the problem as described above, enter a problem message. There are notes relating to how to generate the log file using the program SAPROFFICEINTEGRATIONTRACE.
Regards
Sekhar DattaHi ,

Executable JAR using ADF displays JBO-26061: Error while opening JDBC conn.
I'm trying to create a simple Java Desktop Application (ADF) in JDeveloper 11g (11.1.2.3.0) which will run on Windows XP (SP3) simply by clicking the JAR file. I have encountered many problems and found solutions but I am now completely stuck. Currently when I execute the JAR I get (oracle.jbo.DMLException) JBO-26061: Error while opening JDBC connection.
Inside JDeveloper it runs perfectly but I want it to run without JDeveloper. If I run the executable string JDeveloper displays when you click run, this also works fine.
Here's what I've done -
Created a demo app using the 'Building a Java Swing application with Oracle ADF' tutorial as a proof of concept.
Created a deployment profile 'Client Jar Deployment Profile'
Create a new file group to include all the JAR files.
Create a manifest.mf listing all the JAR files - making sure not to exceed 70 bytes on each line and every new line starts with 2 spaces and at the end of the line there is no trailing spaces.
Made sure the jps-config.xml and cwallet.sso is included in the META-INF folder of the JAR.
I've deployed the JAR file to a folder which contains all the associated JAR files, made sure the manifest.mf is pointing to the correct files and executed my jar (double clicked it) after a short pause (2-3 seconds) that's when the error pops up.
Here is the error stack

Edited by: ChrisDugdale on Nov 15, 2012 2:41 AMThat's excellent advice, changing the connection type, I tried this before, it still gives the same error so I didn't think it had much to do with my problem but what I didn't notice is it gives a more meaningful error stack - see below, compared to my original error stack, i think you're on to something good! So, clearly the password isn't being packaged into the JAR, now I thought this might be happening which is why I added "DeployPassword" in the connections.xml file but that hasn't made a difference. I can see the connections.xml in my JAR if i expand it in the META-INF folder, so I know that's included ok, along with jps-config.xml/adf-config.xml/adfm.xml/cwallet.sso/MANIFEST.MF also in the META-INF folder (inside the JAR)
I can see the password element contains no value, but I tried changing this before with no luck. I'll try again.
connections.xml -
