Ravindra,
It could be that the AE was not configured properly during installation. Please refer to the below link and see it helps you narrow down your problem.

Error while sending query result
Hi all,
I am working on a JDBC-XI-IDoc scenario. In my sending JDBC adapter configuration, i have given the Query SQL statement as <b>SELECT * FROM SAP_PROMOTION</b> and Update SQL statement as: <b><TEST></b>
But when i go to adapter monitor, i am seeing an error as follws:
<b>Error: Sending query result failed with com.sap.aii.af.service.cpa.impl.exception.CPALookupException: Couldn't retrieve binding for the given channelId: Binding:CID=875514bc047b3557a5b53dfb5ef4babe; - retry
last retry interval started 10:54:09 2006-05-25
length 60,000 secs</b>
Can anybody help me how to solve this problem.
Regards,
DivijaDivija,
Am not sure if this is the exact cause for your problem, but would anyways suggest that you take a look at it,
<i>classes12.zip is not compatible with JDK 1.4.</i>
From the note : <b>831162</b>
Oracle JDBC Driver (classes12.zip / classes12.jar) Deadlocks
<b>Q: I have deployed the Oracle classes12.zip / classes12.jar JDBC driver as per the instructions in the XI Configuration Guide.
Unfortunately, I frequently notice hanging database connections. A thread dump taken according to the instructions in note 710154 shows one or more blocking JDBC Sender/Reciver threads and optionally that the JVM has detected a deadlock.
A: The Oracle classes12.zip / classes12.jar driver is compatible with Java 1.2 and Java 1.3 only, but not with Java 1.4. Please upgrade to a current driver (ojdbc14.jar), which does support the Java 1.4 JVM you are using.
Please make sure that you remove classes12.zip / classes12.jar from aii_af_jmsproviderlib.sda prior to adding the new driver as per the instructions in the answer to question #1 above as you will get a class name collision otherwise (all JARs from aii_af_jmsproviderlib.sda are loaded into the same class loader and the driver class name of both driver versions is the same).
Before deploying the updated driver, ensure that the new version is still compatible with your Oracle database server release. For details, please refer to the release notes provided by Oracle.</b>

JBO-26061, Error while opening JDBC connection, please help
Hello
I am new to JDeveloper suite.
I tried to follow BC4J/JSP tutorial found in "JDeveloper Handbook" but every time I try to execute my starter page, I get the following error:
Error Message: JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: oracle.jbo.DMLException, msg=JBO-26061: Error while opening JDBC connection.
Connection test runs successfully in JDev itself and I had no trouble with creating BC4j components (entity object, view and application module), mapping fields etc. Bc4j.xcfg file looks OK as well as server.xml of OC4J server.
I guess that OC4J server is unable to connect to database, but I cannot see why and what could be done about it.
Any recommendations would be warmly appreciated. Please send cc to [email protected] as well.
Thanks in advance,
KristjanKristjan,
BC4J has a tester that can be used to test applications. Right mousew click onto the Application Module and choose tester from the menu. Use setting as defaulted. If this can't connect, then obviously the database connection defined for the Application module is different from the one you are testing. Also, make sure the database password of the connection gets deployed (checkbox option in the connection dialog)

Error at sender JDBC communication channel
Dear All,
While executing JDBC(MS-Access)-PI-RFC interface, we are getting error in sender JDBC communication channel. The error is as following:
Error during database connection to the database URL 'jdbc:odbc:Driver={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)};DBQ=
sappidev\Datatran\Database.mdb' using the JDBC driver 'jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver': 'com.sap.aii.adapter.jdbc.sql.DriverManagerException: Can not establish connection:: SQLException: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified'.
I have checked various posts on forums and as per those no drivers installation is required to access MS-Access database and I am not able to find any post which could solve my problem.
Kindly guide me on what might be the problem and how this can be resolved.
Regards,
NJHi Nishu,
That error ALWAYS means your DSN name is incorrect or can't be accessed for some reason (permission). The ODBC part says that the bridge is working.
But that DSN is 100% wrong or cannot be seen by the user account that the server is running as. Make sure you have a system DSN and not a user one.
You can refer these....

Hope this will help you....

Error while opening JDBC connection
Hi
The JDBC connection works in the current page, but when I clicked a tab to go to another page using the same database, I received the error:
Error while opening JDBC connection.
ORA-01005: null password given; logon denied
Unexpected exception caught: java.lang.NullPointerException, msg=null
I used jdbc data source, I assume. In the application module configuration, there are two listed there. One is UserServiceLocal, the other one is UserServiceShare where datasource is specified. I also specify the dataSource in the Domain server admin console. I deleted cwallet.sso file. My development and deployment machine is Vista.
I would appreciate your input!have you explicitly mentioned username password in your connection string?

Please check to ping the BI server IP 10.1.45.35 from your XI server , in case its working you can check telnet to SAP standard port like 3201/3601/3301/3901 etc.
It seems to be connectivity issue only.
Make sure your both the systems are up and running.
Revert back after checking above stuff.

Error while sending a message 501 not implemented
Hi all,
running some tests checking some Xi interfaces we have the following problem :
going to Runtime Workbench --> Component Monitoring --> Adapter Engine e clicking on the Tab "Test Message" we insert Service, Interface, Namespace, Quality of Service, user and password
On "send message to" we insert the string:
http://apl06gjbx:8031/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=:BSY_CDFS_CRISP_DX8:CC_SOAP_IF_KE_02_In
Executing "Send Message", we get the following error :
"error while sending message : 501 not implemented"
Any suggestion ?

Thanks in advance.
Suki.Hi,
Check in transaction SCOT. If your mail is in error status in SCOT, you can assure that there is no problem with your code. If your message has not reached till SCOT, then the problem will be with the code.
If the mail is there in scot with error status tell the BASIS to configure it. I feel this could be the problem.

In external WLS i created the JDBC datasorce connection in WLS domain successfully.i followed the steps given in deployment chapter of Oracle® Fusion Middleware Fusion Developer's Guide for Oracle Application Development Framework 11g Release 1 (11.1.1)
Anyone tell me i went wrong.Hi frank,
i got what you told me in previous reply.
In Jdev IDE ,I edited the local AM configurations by changing the JDBC URL to Datasource.
again i created the new EAR file for the app and i deployed it successfully on the external WLS10.3
now when i am running the app from external WLS,
i am getting the following error.

Executable JAR using ADF displays JBO-26061: Error while opening JDBC conn.
I'm trying to create a simple Java Desktop Application (ADF) in JDeveloper 11g (11.1.2.3.0) which will run on Windows XP (SP3) simply by clicking the JAR file. I have encountered many problems and found solutions but I am now completely stuck. Currently when I execute the JAR I get (oracle.jbo.DMLException) JBO-26061: Error while opening JDBC connection.
Inside JDeveloper it runs perfectly but I want it to run without JDeveloper. If I run the executable string JDeveloper displays when you click run, this also works fine.
Here's what I've done -
Created a demo app using the 'Building a Java Swing application with Oracle ADF' tutorial as a proof of concept.
Created a deployment profile 'Client Jar Deployment Profile'
Create a new file group to include all the JAR files.
Create a manifest.mf listing all the JAR files - making sure not to exceed 70 bytes on each line and every new line starts with 2 spaces and at the end of the line there is no trailing spaces.
Made sure the jps-config.xml and cwallet.sso is included in the META-INF folder of the JAR.
I've deployed the JAR file to a folder which contains all the associated JAR files, made sure the manifest.mf is pointing to the correct files and executed my jar (double clicked it) after a short pause (2-3 seconds) that's when the error pops up.
Here is the error stack

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding and Java/ADF applications are not supposed to work without the WLS.
Many thanks,
Christian.
Edited by: ChrisDugdale on Nov 15, 2012 2:41 AMThat's excellent advice, changing the connection type, I tried this before, it still gives the same error so I didn't think it had much to do with my problem but what I didn't notice is it gives a more meaningful error stack - see below, compared to my original error stack, i think you're on to something good! So, clearly the password isn't being packaged into the JAR, now I thought this might be happening which is why I added "DeployPassword" in the connections.xml file but that hasn't made a difference. I can see the connections.xml in my JAR if i expand it in the META-INF folder, so I know that's included ok, along with jps-config.xml/adf-config.xml/adfm.xml/cwallet.sso/MANIFEST.MF also in the META-INF folder (inside the JAR)
I can see the password element contains no value, but I tried changing this before with no luck. I'll try again.

Broken pipe, DMLException: JBO-26061: Error while opening JDBC connection
Hi,
We are facing strange problem with oc4j903 container using bc4j getConnection() method.
We are getting the following error intermitantly using bc4j getConnection() method.
ApplicationModuleProvider JBO-30003: The application pool (bc4j_paris) failed to checkout an application module due to the following exception:
oralce.jbo.DMLException: JBO-26061: Error while opening JDBC connection.
and then it says ,
java.sql.SQLException: Io exception: Broken pipe.
It gets connection automatically in a matter of minutes.
Has anybody faced these problem or anyone has the solution please help us out.
Thanks,
ChinnaBhaskar -- BC4J related questions are better directed to the JDeveloper forum; that's where the BC4J PMs and developers hang out.
cheers
