Error while upgrading Weblogic 8.1.5 portal domain to weblogic 10.0

Hi,
I am trying to upgrade the weblogic 8.1.5 portal domain to weblogic 10.0 by using the Domain Upgrade Wizard.
The Upgrade wizard is failing at the "Execute p13n Components Domain Upgrade step" It shows the message "Mandatory P13n database upgrade changes will be made" and displayes a Exit Message saying
"Parse domain-info failed
The wizard wil now shutdown. please restart from backup. fix issues and start again"
Does anybody encountered similar problem?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

on AIX with IBM java 5.

I keep getting the following errors when tried to execute silent script for domain upgrade. Any body has tried "Silent" mode before and has any clue?.It complains about Valid Domain Directory, but as per the document what ever I mentioned in the silent xml file looks right.Appreciate some help..

Hi,
Upgrade report is giving me following warning. Is my above problem is due to this warning?
The project <Application Name> references netui-pageflow.jar, which contains an 8.1 WLS XMLBean, com.bea.wlw.netui.pageflow.schema.webapp23.EjbLinkDocument. Regenerate the JAR to use Apache XMLBeans.
If yes then how to resolve this issue. Any suggestion guys.

Hi,
1)Could you please try logging into sqlplus using using the below command :-
    sqlplus "/ as sysdba"
2)Execute the below command to check if the password in expired :-
select username, account_status, expiry_date, where username='MDS username';
3)Change the password if the password has been expired by following the below command :-
   alter user <user> identified by <password>;
4)Once the above steps are followed please login into the Weblogic Admin Console and follow the below steps:-
    + Go to DataSources ---> Select the MDS schema ----> change the password which was given in step no.3
    + Restart the Weblogic once again.
5)Lets us know the result.

I checked the Connectors directory for coreman but its not available. I even checked with my previous successful installations for this directory, its not even there too.
The only difference i found in the error logs and the successful logs is ..

I did not see this line in the success log.
Here is my environment information.
I have an OPMN clustered environment. The second node in the cluster was down while this upgradation.
There are two groups -- default_group and abcbpel_group
abcbpel_group contains the soa instance. while default_group contains home instance.

Somehow your credentials are corrupted. Two possible solution:
1) open your system11.1.1.xxxx folder open the DefaultDomain\servers\DefaultServer\security folder and edit the boot.properties file. Remove the '(AES)...' part after username and password and write the new ones e.g. username=weblogic', password='Welcome1'. Save the file and try to start the integrated server again. Once the server starts the entries are encoded again.
2) if 1) does not work, remove the whole DefaultDomain folder and create a new WLS instance inside jdev.

First thing, I am not sure this will work :-)
The main issue is that there is no StAX provider to parse I-not-know-what XML file.
You may try to execute appc with the parameter
-Djavax.xml.stream.XMLInputFactory=com.bea.xml.stream.MXParserFactory
Anyhow, you may still have some issues given that Java 6 is not a supported Java version for WL 9.1.

database, the thread's title is "Error while

If you goto 9.2.0.8 patchset download page, you will see all three patchset listed, there's a good chance Sunil mistakenly download the catch-up patchset instead of the full set. My purpose is to clarify the situation.
At least he didn't mention Patchset Number.
PS :
Patchset 4547809 first, the 415M onePatchset 4547809 is 415M for 64-bits, which seems not
be used here (the Banner doesn't contains "64bit
Production"), it's 352Mb for 32-bits. But I maybe
missed something else.
