Error while using Copy Package

Hi,
I want to copy data from category BudgetV1 to BudgetV2,
I have tried to use Copy Package but I always get error with
error message "The file is empty".
Can anyone help me with the problem?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Please check if you have data in category BudgetV1. This error normally occurs when there is no data in source specified in COPY package. Make sure to select appropriate members when you specify other source dimensions.
Hope this helps.

Shoba

can you elaborate more on this?
    I can open http://127.0.0.1:7101/Application15-Model-context-root/HelloWorldPort?wsdl
on my browser. Is your browser on that Oracle server? You are instructing Oracle server code (the UTL_DBWS package) to access that URL.
The IP in that URL is a localhost IP address - and that means using the local IP stack only. So it expects a web server on the Oracle server platform on tcp port 7101. It cannot use that IP to access your client/development machine.
How can I test it using UTL_HTTP?You can write a basic web browser, minus the rendering engine, using UTL_HTTP. You can also use it for web service calls - which is my preference as I deem the UTL_DBWS package to clunky and complex.

If the latter is the problem than you should or try a different JDBC driver or (which is probably the best solution anyway) create an iTar with Oracle support via metalink.oracle.com

    exception.
I type in the foll.command in sqlplus:

    and I get the foll.error---

If I try and trap the exception it shows
    request_failed exception.
If any one has any clue on how to resolve this -- >please reply ASAP .
    Thanks

Is it possible that your database sits behind a firewall? If so, you need to specify the proxy in utl_http.request.

    Hi Ram,
please check, if the note 1396300 is implemented in your system?
If so,  check the table T777F.
It should have the following entries:
    MANDT ISTAT INFTY  FCODE
    002   1     ****   AEND
    002   1     ****   COP
    002   1     ****   CUTI
    002   1     ****   DEL
    002   1     ****   DISP
    002   1     ****   INSE
    002   1     ****   LISD
    002   1     ****   PLVO
In case these entries are missing, please do an adjustment with your 000-client.
    Hope this help

Are you sure that you are running the same package via .NET which works fine from Visual Studio?
By reading error message, I can say that you have copied OLEDB task from another package OR you have deleted one OLEDB connection manager. Now when package is run this task tries to use the connection manager and not found thus throws error message.
Open all OLEDB destination tasks and you find connection manager missing. Connection Manager name should be provided there

  • Error while running SSIS package from Integration service or via Job

    Hi All,
I encounter the below error while running SSIS Package from Job or integration service. However on execution completes success fully while running from data tools. The issue occurs after migration to 2012 from 2oo5 dtsx. PFB the error.
SSIS Error Code DTS_E_PRIMEOUTPUTFAILED.  The PrimeOutput method on OLE DB Source returned error code 0xC02020C4.  The component returned a failure code when the pipeline engine called PrimeOutput(). The meaning of the failure code is defined by
the component, but the error is fatal and the pipeline stopped executing.  There may be error messages posted before this with more information about the failure.
A buffer failed while allocating 10485760 bytes.
The system reports 26 percent memory load. There are 206110765056 bytes of physical memory with 150503776256 bytes.
free. There are 2147352576 bytes of virtual memory with 185106432 bytes free. The paging file has 208256339968 bytes with 145642921984 bytes free.
The package also runs successfully from other servers. This happens only in one of our server.seems like issue with some sql configuration.

    Hi ,
Are you running using SQL Agent Job and Data tools on same server or different?
If it is executing fine using Data tools and failing with Job it might be User credentials issue.Try
to run Job with your credentials by using proxy .

  • Error while using LabVIEW 8.2.1 Dll from Visual C++ 6.0

I am getting an error while using a LabVIEW 8.2.1 dll from Visual C++ 6.0 application. This is what I am doing:
    1) Created a dll using LabVIEW 8.2.1 (I used a tutorial from NI knowledge base: "Creating DLLs from 6.0i". It is a temperature conversion VI; input DegreeF and get DegreeC out). Instead of LabVIEW 6.0i, I used 8.2.1. It created the dll Convert_Temp.dll successfully.
    2) Then I created a Visual C++ 6.0 application (used a tutorial from NI knowledge base: "Calling a DLL from Microsoft Visual C++ that was Generated by LabVIEW 6i). I could build the project and create an executable application F_To_C.exe.
    3) Then copied the LabVIEW dll Convert_Temp.dll into the folder where F_To_C.exe resides. Using windows explorer, went into that folder, and executed the application.  I got the following error:
    System Error 998 while loading the LabVIEW run-time engine (C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Shared\LabVIEW Run-Time\8.2\lvrt.dll).
Convert_Temp requires a version 8.2.1 (or compatible) LabVIEW Run-Time Engine. Please contact the vendor of Convert_Temp to correct this problem.
    I checked the folder: C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Shared\LabVIEW Run-Time\8.2\. It has the file lvrt.dll.
So why am I getting this error?
    GKB

sounds like you need to install the LabVIEW 8.2.1 runtime. Not the 8.2 runtime engine.

  • Error while excecuting of package in ODI 11.1.1.6

    Hello Gurus,
We have migrated from ODI 10g (10.1.3.5) to ODI (11.1.1.6) using Upgrade Assistant utility.
After migration, for most of the interfaces , we are getting error while running a package
ODI-1228: Task <Interface_Name> (Integration) fails on the target MICROSOFT_SQL_SERVER connection ODI_Staging_DB.
Caused By: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: Could not find server '#GLOBAL.ODI_Server' in sys.servers. Verify that the correct server name was specified. If necessary, execute the stored procedure sp_addlinkedserver to add the server to sys.servers.
at com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException.makeFromDatabaseErrorhere, ODI_Server is name of global variable.
We tested the query on SQL server, it returns a hostname of database server.
Any idea what could be the issue ?
    Thanks,
    Santy.

Actually, I already have tried doing that. Is there any task we need to perform from database side ?
or do u think it would be issue with the JDBC URL that connects to SQL Server from Physical technology?
    Thanks,
    Santy

  • Error while using RSDRI_INFOPROV_READ : parallel processing error

    Hi
I am also facing parallel processing error while using the function module RSDRI_INFOPROV_READ in transformation.
when only one data package is there, the load happens without any issue.  But when multiple data packages are involved the load fails with an error "Exception in parallel processing".

    Hi Lijo,
I got the following information from the function module documentation of the FM RSDRI_INFOPROV_READ.
If neither I_SAVE_IN_FILE nor I_SAVE_IN_TABLE are set, then the return takes place in the form of packages (that is an internal table), of value I_PACKAGESIZE. A negative value means that the return should be in one package.

  • Inconsistent FOTY0001: type error while  using translateFromNative

I am getting FOTY0001: type error while using translateFromNative function in assign activity.
This error happens only in the below scenarios:
    1. Create a BPEL process with file input adapter that accepts simple xml string as input and accepts files like input*.txt.
    2. Create a simple XSD(Fixed Length native XSD) and convert the simple string to XML using translateFromNative function and copy it into a variable.
    3. Switch off the process
    4. Put atleast 10 input*.txt files in the folder and switch on the process.
This error doesn't happen when I put one file at time.. Even when I put multiple files, the error happens for few instances inconsitently.
    Here is our assign activity
    <assign name="Assign_1">
    <copy>
    <from variable="PlantChemMsg" part="Chemistry"
    query="/ns2:Chemistry/ns2:chemistryString"/>

    <to variable="ChemistryOut" part="Root-Element"
    query="/ns8:Root-Element"/>
    </copy>
    </assign>
Here is the error in group log:
    ORABPEL-09500
    XPath expression failed to execute.
Error while processing xpath expression, the expression is "ora:translateFromNative(string(bpws:getVariableData('tempChemistryString')), 'ChemistryLegacy1.xsd', 'Root-Element')", the reason is FOTY0001: type error.
    Please verify the xpath query.

    James,
Thanks & Sorry for the late reply.
I used assign activity just because I have only one source and target element.
This error happens even with transform activity.
Also, all the input messages are same. So It is definitely not the issue with the input message.
    One observation I did is:
The error doesn't occur when I use like below(Full Http url):
    ora:translateFromNative(string(bpws:getVariableData('tempChemistryString')), 'http://psc-d674943.hdq.uss.com:7777/orabpel/default/TestTranslateFromNativeError/1.0/ChemistryLegacy1.xsd
    ', 'Root-Element')
But occurs when I use like below.
    ora:translateFromNative(string(bpws:getVariableData('tempChemistryString')), 'ChemistryLegacy1.xsd', 'Root-Element')
