Error with DLL

Hi,
I have created a DLL file and now I am trying to pass parameters to the DLL... the parameters i would like to pass is the IP Address of the sensor, a string (this will be generated from .NET but can be anything... eg. "", abc or even 123) and lastly a boolean which controls a button... the vi i've created works perfectly fine... so i do not think is the vi's problem..
when passing a valid IP Address over to the DLL, i get an error 54 (i've attached a screen shot of it)... i cant test what the value was passed over as its an DLL (or is there a way??)... another problem is when i pass a True value over, i get an error too (this time its from .NET)...
the biggest problem is how to check whether the DLL file i've created is a valid DLL file?? when i add the DLL file as references (just for testing only), an error pop up and say "the file cannot be added and only assemblies with extension "dll" ... can be referenced.. "

Hi again,
i've modified my vi to save the data passed through the parameters into SQL and the result returned a single character (eg. the string pass was testing, but the data save is only "t")... so i think i can conclude that i recieved that error 54 is because the IP address wasnt complete...
First point: i think it only passed a single character rather the whole string is due to the parameter set as "void testing(char ipadd[], char teststring[], LVBoolean *Save)"... from my understanding, char only stores 1 character?? correct me if i'm wrong...
Second point: when compiling a DLL, i noticed there are 3 options; String Handle Pointer, C String Pointer (default) and Pascal String Pointer... can someone advise me on what are the 3 and when to use each of them?? i've tried to compile using each of them, and only the default pointer gave me LV error.. the other 2 gave me .NET errors... so i can conclude that using the other 2 is not suitable for .NET (i get some exception error telling me about some object error)??
Third point: i noticed that some examples come with .bld files... how come when i build my DLL file, the .bld file doesnt appear.. is it necessary??

For running SharePoint Designer 2013, you need to install Microsoft .NET 4.0 Framework or higher.
Please uninstall the Microsoft .NET 4.0 Framework, and install it again. After that, reboot your machine.

I'm French so i'll try to explain in my best english.
I had the same problem. And i solved it.
In fact i change the dll because the one which php install give us is not compatible.
I choose the one which is provides with wampserver 2.0i.
php_oci8_11g.dll
with instantclient_11_1g
Next i'll create environnement variables
NLS_LANG=FRENCH_FRANCE.WE8ISO8859P15
TNS_ADMIN=d:\oracle
and in path variable add the way to the instantclient11_1
D:\oracle\instantclient_11_1
Then i restart the server and lucky all services start and run perfectly.

PXI RT 8.6 crash with error lvrt.dll load address 0x1924000

I have an application developed with LabView RT 8.6 that run 24h/day and randomly crash evry 3-10 day with this error:
LVRT.DLL load address 0x1924000. Attached I put log file available after restarting PXI.
I dont found any information on this error, and it's very hard to found the soluction... any idea?

Application was developed with LV 8.6, actually I have installed a LV 8.6.1 in my lap top where I develope the application. I attach some print screen of configuration of PXI.
Application running on PXI consist of several never-ending loop, one of this is a time-critical loop where I from CAN, DAQ, and I send data via CAN. There is other Hardware-timed loop that comunicate via TCP/IP with PLC and with host computer (but application on host is not developed with LV, use a client socket to comunicate with PXI for reading data).
Error Log show alwayis the same error, and for my opionon, there is no relation for when the event occur, can be in any moment.
Application in pxi has some VI that are published as web service for diagnostic only, but there is no any interaction with user, (no keyboard and no mouse), it's a silent application, that read some encoder, calculate speed and aceleration, generate some output and send all data acquired via tcp/ip... 24 h/day.
Strange is that error position is always at 0x1924000, in all the error log!
Unfortunatly system is used all the day, and it's very far from office, so debug can be done only at specific day, when production is off... and internet is unavailable...
Enabling the debug mode, It's possible to have more information about the problem without changing the performance of the system?

Application crash with error ntdll.dll 00018fea

Hi,
I have a problem with my app.exe build.
I attach a simple code; the Vi open and close a TDM file.
If I run this Vi in Labview works fine.
If I build the application.exe on a notebook and I run it I got "Application crash with error ntdll.dll 00018fea".
I've tried to build the Vi on another Pc Desktop with Labview and here if I run the exe it works fine.
On the two PC I have LV8.5; the build options are the same.
On the notebook I've try also to reinstall LV8.5 but I got the same error.
Can you help me?

Never ever do that! You were very lucky that both ntdll.dll files were probably the same version so the exchange didn't do much but ntdll.dll is one of the core Windows DLLs were everything goes through that normal applications may access in Windows. APAgent.exe error dnssd.dll on startup with the suggestion to reinstall. How do I remove the error?

I am giving away my windows XP laptop to my 80 year old Mom and deleted itunes and ipod software.

Did you uninstall Bonjour from the PC? Airport software uses Bonjour, and it looks like your Airport base station agent is complaining about the missing Bonjour (dnssd.dll is a Bonjour file).
Is your Mom going to be using the Airport capabilities of the laptop? If not, it might be easiest just to uninstall the Airport utility and/or other related Airport software.

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

In the past I ran several times into the same strange error messages. The DATASAVE AV was never the reason, but it was always the symptom for a corrupt memory content. In my case it was caused by extension DLLs (GPI) I used (and developed).
I recommend to find the reason for the 'mfc71u.dll' AV.

got it fixed! My Son had both files on his Win7 iTunes installation. Never mind he had no issues whith ths iTunes and iPhone Sync. So I checked my other Win XP PC, where I don't have this problem syncing my ipad, and surprise. Both files do NOT show up on this PC. So I renamed the iTunesPhotoProcessor.exe I found under c:\program file\iTunes and synced again my iPhone and it went through without any error. So the problem might be and unremoved iTunesPhotoProcessor.exe or the missing iTunesPhotoProcessor.dll under the iTunes install root folder and this even if I had checked that the folder was completely removed during iTunes unistall.
Please try yourselve and just rename the iTunesPhotoProcessor.exe to iTunesPhotoProcessor.exe_ under c:\program file\iTunes or get a copy of the missing iTunesPhotoProcessor.dll and cp to c:\program file\iTunes.

I've just (finally) managed to fix this problem today. I checked the Apple Support forums, and it seems a lot of people are having the same problem.
I rang the Apple Support line, and the very helpful man (thanks Alan!) talked me through it stage by stage. If you go to the following page on the internet:http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5376 it takes you through the process. WARNING - it takes a little time! The main purpose of this is to remove any trace of the old version of iTunes from your computer...
Basically, the first thing you have to do is go to your Program Files and double click on your iTunes folder. There'll be a number of files with the suffix .dll - you need to move all the .dll files from that folder to your desktop - you can simply click and drag them on the desktop..
Next, uninstall iTunes - go to Control Panel / Add/Rempve Programs and when the list comes up remove iTunes. This will take a few minutes... Then reboot your computer.
Next, go back to Control Panel / Add Remove and Remove - IN THIS ORDER -
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot again!
Next, check in your Program Files that the iTunes folder is completely gone - if it has, great: if it hasn't, right-click on the folder and press Shift and Delete - it will say "Are you sure you want to completely remove the folder "iTunes"? Click on "Yes".
Reboot!
Then go to the iTunes download page and voila! It should download iTunes without any problems... well it did for me.... Good luck!

Error date20.dll module failed to load

I just loaded my Palm Desktop software onto a new PC with Vista. When I try to load the Palm Desktop I get this error message: "Error date20.dll module failed to load". Each time this happens, when I try to close this error message box for the 3rd time the Palm desktop finally loads. How can I stop this from happening every time I try to open palm Desktop?

Essentially I had to install SSIS on the build machine so that the 64-bit version for
ExecPackageTask.dll, was available. I did this from the original media CD selection Integration Services as a feature.
Hope this helps someone in the future.

ORA-06502 error with external table having long records

I'm getting a strange error with the oci driver that I don't get with the thin driver.
The basic situation is that we using external tables and both the oci and thin drivers have been working until we tested with a table that had longer records than the previous tables. The new table has 1800 byte records.
The thin driver still works fine with the new table. However, the oci driver generates the following error with the new table:
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small
I suspect that with oci driver the oci DLLs are reading the external file and the DLLs can't handle the longer record length.
Particulars
- Oracle DB Server is 10.2.0.1 on SunOS 5.9
- OCI Instant Client instantclient_10_2 on Windows XP
- OCI client code from DB server installation running on DB server
- Works with thin driver from Windows XP and on DB server machine for all record lengths
- Works with both OCI drivers for records < 1800 bytes (don't know actual limit)
- Fails with both OCI drivers for records = 1800 bytes.
Does anyone out there have any thoughts.

Your access parameters are in the wrong order. External tables are a bit fussy like that. Refer to the access_parameters section in the Utilities manual and follow the order there. From memory it will go something like this:
RECORDS DELIMITED...
LOG/BAD/DISCARDFILE...
FIELDS TERMINATED...LDRTRIM
MISSING FIELD VALUES...
fields...
