Error : Write attempted after request finished

hi frnds,
I am using netbeans-6.5, with WTK-2.5.1 on Fedora-10
my code is something like
- open the connection // Connector.open(strURL, Connector.READ_WRITE);
- read the response // in = conn.openDataInputStream(); in.read(); in.close();
- {color:#800000}write some data // out=conn.openDataOutptStream(); out.write(data); out.close(){color} {color:#ff0000}<--Error occurs here looks like "java.lang.IllegalStateException: Write attempted after request finished" {color}
-read the response // in = conn.openDataInputStream(); in.read(); in.close();
and by searching the web I got following
{color:#008080}+You have to open a new connection for every new HTTP request. Since HTTP is strongly request-response based, you cant write anything to the output stream after you have opened the input stream (wrote request, read response and finish).+
You cant reuse the existing connection in HTTP. Of course a socket connection can do this ;-)
-Kay
{color}
{color:#008080}+The HttpConnection object is a "use and throw" object. It works for one sending of the HTTP request, and then receiving the response. That is why once you've opened the input stream you can't write to the output stream. It's already been flushed and closed. But the phone will keep your GPRS connection open. So you can send more requests without the need to to reopen the GPRS link.+

{color:#000000}is it really so ?{color}
do i have any alternative ?

Hi,
{color:#000000}is it really so ?{color}Yep !
do i have any alternative ?Open a DatagramConnection by passing something else than an http request in "Connector.open"

    Since Windows system uses separated user mode and kernel mode memory space, stop errors are always caused by kernel portion components, such as a third-party device drivers, backup software or anti-virus services (buggy services).
    The system goes to a BSOD because there is some exceptions happened in the kernel (either the device driver errors or the service errors), and Windows implements this mechanism: When it detects some errors occur in the kernel, it will kill the box in case
    some more severe damage happens. Then we get a blue screen or the system reboots (it depends on what the system settings are).
    To troubleshoot this kind of kernel crash issue, we need to debug the crashed system dump. Unfortunately, debugging is beyond what we can do in the forum. A suggestion would be to contact Microsoft Customer Service and Support (CSS) via telephone so that
    a dedicated Support Professional can assist with your request. Please be advised that contacting phone support will be a charged call.
    To obtain the phone numbers for specific technology request please take a look at the web site listed below:
    Microsoft - Help and Support
    If you are outside the US please see
    Microsoft Worldwide Home for regional support phone numbers.
    Meantime we can try some available steps as a general troubleshoot.
    1. Please remove the antivirus and run the system with a period. If the issue does not occur, mainly focus on antivirus settings and compatibility.
    2. Disable Automatic Restart and see detail information on the blue screen.
    1).Click Start, in the Start Search box enter sysdm.cpl.
    2).Click the tab Advanced. Under Startup and Recovery, click the Settings button.
    3). Uncheck “Automatically restart”.
    4). On the drop-down menu “Write debugging information”, choose “Small memory dump”.
    5). Click OK.
    When Blue Screen displays, you may find some useful information.

    Hi M.S.,
    You said that the "lower case" tick box is not checked in the Info object maintenance.
    Then it is pretty clear that this error might have occured due to lower case letters in the text field.
    Checking the tick box here and activating Master Data will affect the other BW objects where this info-object is being used.
    You may solve this by
    1. Make the request red in ODS and delete the request.
    2. Go to PSA, Data Package 001 and look for the erroneous record.
    3. Change the lower case letters of Text ("connect") to upper case, save it.
    4. Go to PSA Tab, find the PSA request.
    5. Right click and in context menu, select Start the update immediately.
    The request should be loaded perfectly.
    As mentioned by one of the members, for permanent solution, you may as well go for formula "TOUPPER" or use a routine in transformation.
    Thanks
    Regards,
    Reddy!

  • Error when submitting GRC request

    Hello IDM Gurus, <br>
    We were running into an issue when trying to set up our IDM - GRC integration; when submitting a request to GRC via the AC Validation task the "Submit AC Request" task always encounters an error, but in spite of which the request still gets created on the GRC end; weirdly enough, 2 requests get created each time:<br>

    Hi there ,
    I am a graduate student and new to ColdFusion.I started working on this already developed project by someone couple of years ago , and the client wants some changes to be done.so i went ahead and did some small modifications to the appearance of the form(insertdata.cfm page) like adding some more options to a drop down menu , changing the label names and so on and am very sure this changes would not have effected the application in any way.And the place where the message says the error can be , i didnt even touch that part.Now after 4 days i start getting this weird error saying " Error Occurred While Processing Request

  • Error when submitting GRC request from IDM

    Hello GRC gurus,
    We were running into an issue when trying to set up our IDM - GRC integration; when submitting a request to GRC via the AC Validation task the "Submit AC Request" task always encounters an error, but in spite of which the request still gets created on the GRC end; weirdly enough, 2 requests get created each time:<br>
    putNextEntry failed storingcn=TESTUSER,ou=submitrequest,o=grc
    Exception from Add operation:javax.naming.CommunicationException: [LDAP: error code 2 - (GRC Submit Request:2:oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver)]; remaining name 'cn=TESTUSER,ou=submitrequest,o=grc'
    <br>
    On the GRC end we noticed that we are getting the following error:<br>
    2011-12-05 20:21:32,046 [SAPEngine_Application_Thread[impl:3]_30] ERROR com.sap.security.api.NoSuchUserAccountException: Cannot find user when logonid is null!

    What are we supposed to set the User data source as within CUP? Is there something else we should be doing to fix this?<br>

    Would greatly appreciate your help with trying to fix this!<br>

    Thanks a lot in advance!<br>

    Hi Diego,
    Thanks a lot for your quick response! Sorry for the delay in responding; I was travelling.
    Uploading the new files from the Note you mentioned allowed us to view what the actual errors were; but we've started running into new errors now; when looking at the operation logs for VDS, I see that the webservice actually returns an operation result of SUCCESS also quoting that "Finished add operation"; which is why the request does in fact get created in CUP but a couple of log entries later after the webservice returns the request number I encounter the following error within VDS:
    Exception in GRC WS API call:oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver
    Here's the error found in sequence within a set of other operational log messages within VDS:

    It's the strangest thing, because it seems to send the request across successfully which is how the request is getting created in CUP but after it succeeds it encounters the exception with the GRC WebService call from the API; any ideas why this is happening? how can we possibly fix this?

  • CC app manager update  failed with error code 50 after reaching about 35%

    Trying to update the CC app manager. The update is always very slow  (I have ATT DSL, lowest level) and I usually terminate it after an hour or so. Today I let it run and it failed with error code 50 after reaching about 35%. Any ideas?

    Update to my original post. I read through some of the suggestions that I found in other threads for fixing this problem, and it appears that this has been an ongoing issue. Numerous fixes have been suggested, some very convoluted, difficult, and involved, including those that came from the customer support folks.  I passed on those as this should be something simple. How Adobe manages to let updating of their own software turn into an ongoing problem is beyond me and sort of defeats the purpose of subscribing. I then noticed that a simple fix had been suggested a few times, so I tried that.
    The user suggested fix that worked for me was:
    1) Restarted computer (Asus Windows 7 i3 machine for me) in Safe Mode with Networking. Logged into my separate Admin account just in case.
    2) Started the creative cloud desktop app.
    3) The app said it needed to be updated. I hit the update button.
    4) Update started and proceeded slowly as it had in many previous failed attempts (I have ATT DSL at the slowest level, but it is not dial-up). Within about 30 min, the update succeeded.
    5) Restarted computer in normal mode.
    6) The creative cloud desktop app now did not say it needs to be updated, and I can update my other apps normally. Have not updated LR or PS yet, but plan to try. If that fails, I may try doing it in the Safe Mode with Networking.
    So, that was relatively painless and much much simpler than many of the other suggestions I saw. Do not know if it will work for everyone, but I wanted to post the fix that worked for me. Thank you very much to the 2 or 3 users who had suggested this fix earlier (sorry, I did not write down your IDs, but the threads can be found by searching for creative cloud desktop update fail error code 50). Hope this saves some people a lot of time.

    Hi All,
    We are using FTP Connection in our SSIS Package which will take a flat file from the sharepath to another FTP Path.

    Hi Surendiran,
    The issue should occur because the syntax of the ConnetionString property of the FTP Connection Manager is incorrect. In fact, the ConnectionString property is unnecessary. I suggest that you only use the four properties instead: ServerName, ServerPort,
    ServerUserName, and ServerPassword.

  • Why do I get this error message: Application has requested the runtime to terminate?

    I get this error message: Application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way.  The application won't open at all even after several tries and a reboot.

      Try making a direct desktop icon for the Editor and see if you can launch the program directly from the desktop.
    Right click anywhere on the desktop and select New >> Shortcut
    Browse to Computer OS C:
    And find the PSE Editor application in Program Files or Program Files (x86) on Windows 7 - 64 bit.
    C: >> Program Files >> Adobe >> Photoshop Elements 9
    Within the Photoshop elements 9 folder find PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe (with the blue icon)
    Select that file and click Next.
    Then click Finish.
      You should now be able to launch by double clicking on the new desktop icon, bypassing the welcome screen.

                   It works fine but in that case there might be a deadloack on the server side since both the client and server in that case try to modify tables on the same db.
    any work arounds???????

    HTTP is a request / Responce based protocole where all the data to be send to the server must be included in the request and then the server send all the data as the responce.
    By the time you read the responce the request is already send and the server have finished processing it. So it is not posible to send more data to the same request.
