  • Problem when doing update and commit at the same time...

    I want to "fusion" the update and commit event... I thought that if I added a jbo:Commit at the end of the update event,
    it would work. But, I get back an error message when running, and since this time, I can throw my project to trash:
    even if I get back to the previous version of my project ( the one that used to work ), I still have the message. The only
    solution for me is to shut down Jdeveloper, send to trashbin the project and to get back it from a saved backup...
    Has someone a way to fix it, please ?
    Regards,
    David

    Hi David,
    Could you please provide more details:
    1. What error message do you receive when running? Can you provide a stacktrace?
    2. What does the corrupt JSP page look like? Can you include the source for the page in your post?
    3. What error message(s) does the IDE provide when you try to reopen the project?
    Thanks,

  • Error in automatic batch classification when doing 311 movements

    I have created reference characteristics, that is, characteristics which have a direct reference to a database field (MCH1-LAEDA. LAst change).
    When doing the movement 311 with MIGO or MB1B the batch is not classified althougt in the MCH1 the field LAEDA (last change) is updated.
    In the tcode OMCV i have set the movement 311 with 1 (Classification carried out in background (all batches)).
    If go to tcode MSC3N, tha classificitaion is wrong, but if I enter in tcode MSC2N the system classify the batch.
    We are using this field to sort batches for consumption.
    Thanks in advance.

    my friend,
    do you have migo or mb1b only in background??
    you could set any 'foreground' option in OMCV, say, 2 or 3 (instead of 1)
    did you try that?
    good luck!

  • JDBC:ODBC Crashes in driver when doing update

    I am getting a crash in the native code when trying to update a record through an updateable record set using the JDBC:ODBC bridge. I have appended the crash information at the bottom of this message gotten from the Forte output window. This is going to SQL Server 2000. Through the Beta JDBC driver everything works fine, but through ODBC it always crashes no matter what columns I pick so it doesn't seem to be data type related. I would just use the JDBC driver, but that is not a option for some of our clients. I have used Insert statements without a problem, but one of the fields in one table is a BLOB field and I don't know of any way to access it except through an updatable record set.
    Does anyone have any ideas about how I might get around this?
    Thanks

    I am no guru,
    but I have written BLOBS into DB2 via JDBC and I use a Prepared Statement, this works well for me.
    // Below is some code I originally mimicked and It worked well for me.
    // hope it it useful. I have never used SQLServer :-(
    import java.io.*;
    import java.sql.*;
    public void insertBlob( int rowid, byte[] bindata ) {
    // In this example I'm assuming there's an open, active
    // Connection instance called 'con'.
    // This examples uses an imaginary SQL table of the following
    // form:
    // CREATE TABLE blobs (
    //    ROWID INT NOT NULL,
    //    ROWDATA BLOB,
    //    PRIMARY KEY (rowid)
    try {
    ByteArrayInputStream bais = new ByteArrayInputStream(bindata);
    String sql = "INSERT INTO blobs ( rowid, rowdata ) VALUES ( ?, ? )";
    PreparedStatement ps = con.prepareStatement(sql);
    // Set up the parameter index for convenience (JDBC column
    // indices start from 1):
    int paramindex = 1;
    // Set the first parameter, the Row ID:
    ps.setInt(paramindex++, rowid);
    // Now set the actual binary column data by passing the
    // ByteArrayInputStream instance and its length:
    ps.setBinaryStream(paramindex++, bais, bindata.length);
    // Finally, execute the command and close the statement:
    ps.executeUpdate();
    ps.close();
    } catch ( SQLException se ) {
    System.err.println("Couldn't insert binary data: "+se);
    } catch ( IOException ioe ) {
    System.err.println("Couldn't insert binary data: "+ioe);
    } finally {
    con.close();
    }

  • WHEN DOES UPDATE  HAPPEN IN JDBC SENDER Adapater

    Hi folks ,
    I am using jdbc sender adapater to call RFC function and the o/p pf the RFC i am writing to the file
    This is my select query
    SELECT * FROM ULIDTA2.F5631505 WHERE QSINTF='N'
    and mu update query is
    Update ULIDTA2.F5631505 set QSINTF='Y' where QSINTF='N'
    now the slect returns multiple rows and  i  want the rfc to be called depending on the number of rows i get 4m select . but wht is happening is i find that seleect picks the first row calls the rfc writes to the file and updates the query .
    hence other rows are not able to be processed .
    does jdbc sender update as soon as it picks the select query . how do i update one row at a time .
    thks
    amit

    Hi Amit,
    I dont think one row at a time is possible with the SELECT query as the JDBC adapter is going to return all the rows that satisfy your query.
    One work around would be to develop a Stored Procedure in your Datbase, and then use the same Stored Procedure as your select query. Now, tits the task of the stored procedure to make sure only one row is selected at a time.
    Just look at Query SQL Statement part ubnder this link,

  • Error : Temporary Tablespace is Empty  when doing expdp/impdp

    Hi all,
    I was doing expdp on my oracle 10.1.0.2.0 DB on Win XP P, though the user is having a default temporary tablespace with a temp file on autoextend enabled, I got the message as...
    ORA-25153: Temporary Tablespace is Empty
    Then I created a new temporary tablespace for the user with 500M tempfile and autoextend enabled, then expdp went through.
    Now I am doing the impdp for the same .dmp file to generate one sqlfile for the DB,
    again I am facing the same error message as...
    ORA-25153: Temporary Tablespace is Empty

    The message indicates that...
    ORA-25153: Temporary Tablespace is Empty
    Cause: An attempt was made to use space in a temporary tablespace with no files.
    Action: Add files to the tablespace using ADD TEMPFILE command.
    SO my question is every time I do any imp exp have I to add temp file in my temporary tablespace? will it not be cleared on the completion of the job?
    Any advice please.

    Hi Sabdar,
    The result of the query is as...
    SQL> SELECT * FROM DATABASE_PROPERTIES where
    2 PROPERTY_NAME='DEFAULT_TEMP_TABLESPACE';
    PROPERTY_NAME
    PROPERTY_VALUE
    DESCRIPTION
    DEFAULT_TEMP_TABLESPACE
    TEMP
    Name of default temporary tablespace
    So the default temporary tablespace is TEMP which is not having any tempfile as I cloned this DB from the primary DB, but the user I am using for the impdp is 'checkup' and the temporary tablespace for 'checkup' is 'checkup_temp1' which s having tempfile.
    SO then why the impdp job is going to server's temporary tablespace instead of user's temporary tablespace.
    Is there any way to get whether 'checkup_temp1' tablespace is the default temporary tablespace for 'checkup' or not?
    Can I create create the user mentioning default temporary tablespace anyway because it is giving me error as...
    SQL> create user suman identified by suman
    2 default tablespace checkup_dflt
    3 default TEMPORARY TABLESPACE checkup_temp1;
    default TEMPORARY TABLESPACE checkup_temp1
    ERROR at line 3:

    Then I did ...
    SQL> create user suman identified by suman
    2 default tablespace checkup_dflt
    3 TEMPORARY TABLESPACE checkup_temp1;
    User created.

  • I don't recall always having to enter admin. name and p/w when doing updates. Is this req't only for certain software. I am a bit paranoid now with the Mac Defender lurking about.

    When completing the software updates I can't remember always having to enter administrator name and password. Maybe it's just been automatic on my part but now I rethink the process when I am asked to enter this info since the Mac Defender malware became an issue with Mac. Just wanted to know if this procedure occurs with all software updates or is it selective based on the type of update? This time is concerned Airport. Thanks for any insight.

    Are you running as an Admin User or non-Admin? ie. have you set your Mac up with multiple user accounts - one as an Admin and one as a Standard user?
    For security, you are better off having an Admin user account that has Admin privileges and a Standard user account that you use from day to day with standard privileges. When you install system updates you will be required to enter an Admin name and password, and any software that needs access to the system will require an Admin name and password, but anything that you install just for your user account that doesn't require total system access will be able to be dragged and dropped into your Application folder as per usual.
    MacDefender runs in a web browser - that should be a huge red flag! If you see a warning when you are running Safari or another web browser close the browser window or Force Quit it. (under the Apple Menu => Force Quit...) In Safari Preferences untick Open "safe" files after downloading. (It will prevent an installer from automatically launching if something nasty is downloaded to your machine.) MacDefender and its variants attempt to trick people into installing stuff that will compromise their system. If something pops up unannounced on your machine that you didn't download, close it and delete it.
    This article goes into depth about the MacDefender Malware:
    http://rixstep.com/2/20110610,00.shtml
    The salient points are summed up in the "Recapitulate" section at the bottom of the article: It's a bit Hipster Geeky.
    "To Recapitulate
    As recounted elsewhere, the Mac Defender attack is a well thought out attack that may have taken months to get together. The first step was to compromise websites of eejits, hack their FTP accounts, and upload dynamited files to their servers.
    Then followed the Google whacks which led to people clicking on links they'd provided at the sites they'd hijacked.
    And then finally they uploaded Mac Defender so people would get hit by it. And the purpose of Mac Defender is to scare you into thinking you're infected so you pull out your credit card.
    Then the hackers run away with your credit card info and buy mink coats and chinchilla coats or whatever they want.
    But staying clear of Mac Defender is really easy and doesn't require any AV software.
    Don't ever open anything you didn't want to download.
    Turn off JavaScript when accessing any Google Images site.
    Make sure you don't have Safari set to automatically open downloads."
    I'd add, keep your software up to date. Especially Adobe's Flash Plug-in as this is no longer supplied in system updates by Apple and could become an attack vector in the future. Always download software from reputable sources - ie. when downloading the Flash plug-in, get it from Adobe directly - don't follow a link from a website that tells you your version of Flash is out of date.
    Enable your Firewall in System Preferences => Security => Firewall. Click on the Advanced button and Enable Stealth Mode too.
    Also under:
    System Preferences => Security => General.
    Disable Automatic Login. Require a password to unlock each System Preferences pane. Use secure virtual memory. Automatically update safe downloads list.
    Educate yourself.

  • "Error issuing replication: 8453 (0x2105)" when doing a repadmin /syncall

    Whenever I do a repadmin /syncall I get "CALLBACK MESSAGE: Error issuing replication: 8453 (0x2105):"
    If I do a repadmin /syncall /P the command completes with no errors
    I am running this command from the only FSMO roles holder for my domain
    This is also in our hub office which all of our branch offices connect to.
    I was going to run "repadmin /syncall /e /P" to immediately replicate changes to all of our DCs, but I want to be sure this won't break anything.
    I found two warnings in the following Microsoft article that worry me:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc811569(v=ws.10).aspx
    "These are very powerful subcommands and should be used sparingly as they do not follow replication agreements that are in place and have the potential to cause replication storm and break Active Directory if not used properly."
    for the /syncall switch:
    "Use this command and the above flags cautiously or you can damage the replication system because this command does not follow replication agreements nor honor any replication restrictions such as DISABLE_INBOUND_REPL or DISABLE_OUTBOUND_REPL"
    Is running this command safe or will I cause problems by doing this? I was thinking that because this is the FSMO roles holder doing a /P (push) to the other DCs from this one would be ok.
    I should also add that doing a "repadmin /replicate" to any DC executes without any errors.

    Can you post the dcdiag /q,repadmin /replsum and repadmin /syncall details of DC's to analyse the same.Please use skydive to post the log
    "Error issuing replication: 8453 (0x2105):" This can either be a DNS misconfig,secure channel between DC broken,lingering object issue or network connectivity issue,necessary ports are not fully opened between locations,etc. Microsoft's PortQry tests specific
    AD ports and the ephemeral ports, and the required responses from the services on the required AD ports it specifically scans for.  Here's more info on the ports that AD requires to properly communicate:
    Active Directory Firewall Ports -
    http://msmvps.com/blogs/acefekay/archive/2011/11/01/active-directory-firewall-ports-let-s-try-to-make-this-simple.aspx
    Also, disable local windows firewall service, by default it is enabled in vista/windows 2008 and above. Check the network connectivity and latency.
    Disable Windows Firewall:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc766337(WS.10).aspx
    Also ensure the following DNS setting on DC:
    1. Each DC / DNS server points to its private IP address as primary DNS server and other remote/local DNS servers as secondary in TCP/IP properties.
    2. Each DC has just one IP address and single network adapter is enabled.
    3. Contact your ISP and get valid DNS IPs from them and add it in to the forwarders, Do not set public DNS server in TCP/IP setting of DC.
    4. Once you are done, run "ipconfig /flushdns & ipconfig /registerdns", restart DNS and NETLOGON service each DC.
    Do not put private DNS IP addresses in forwarder list.
    5.Assign static IP address to DC if IP address is assigned by DHCP server to DC.It is strongly not recommended.
    Hope this helps.

    To restore from backup, follow the following steps:
    Right-click your iPhone in the "Devices" tab in the left-hand pane and choose "Restore from Backup".
    I've made a YouTube video on this, in case you wish to have a visual representation of what is going on.
    (Advance: Sorry for the stuttering. It was an older YouTube video I made. I'm posting an update for Mac users soon!)

    iTunes crashes when doing a power search. I get a Microsoft Visual C   Runtime Library Error message: Program C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes\iTunes.exe R6025.  Pure virtual functional call.  If I select ok, Windows 7 pops up with iTunes has stopped working and then it shuts iTunes down.  Anyone else every have this issue.  Any ideas on a fix?
    Thanks,

    For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
    The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
    Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

    Error -1
    Attempt to restore your iOS device two more times. If the issue is still unresolved, the device may need service.
    The "device may need service" means a hardware problem. In that case make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

  • I keep getting Error Code 4002 in iTunes when I try to update my iTunes Match.  I have turned off iTunes Match, then reinstalled it, but that does not seem to work.  I also get another Error Code (4010) sometimes.  Can someone offer advice?

    I keep getting Error Code 4002 in iTuens when  try to update my iTunes Match.  I have turned off Match, then reconnected, but the code keeps coming.  So does Error Code 4010 at times.  Can someone help?

    iTunes store, App Store, iTunes Match and various other services have been down for the past several hours. Apple's System Status page at http://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/ now shows them back up but they are STILL NOT up for me or many other users. The error codes 4000 series refer to connection errors, I've gotten several from 4001-4010 all day. We're kind of at the mercy of Apple at this point. It would be nice if they would give us some notification about their problems since we are paying for their service.
