Error: You are not one of the possible agents of task 'WS99900032'

Hi frnds,
    I have copied the std leave request workflow WS12300111 into WS99900032 and assigned in the SPRO setting. The approvers are determined using the workflow rule (PFAC) and its not determined from Org Management. But when i tried to apply leave, its throwing me the error You are not one of the possible agents of task 'WS99900032'.
Can anyone give me solution to solve it?
thanks,
Suganya.

You are not one of the possible agents of task 'WS99900032'
You need to refresh the  organizational environment and then execute the workitem
1. First make the workflow tempalte as General task and then
Goto PFTC ---> enter the workflow tempalte number by selecting workflow template  ---> open in display mode and on menu Addtional Data ---> agent assignment  ---> Maintian ---> select General task
2. Goto SBWP  -
> Seetings  -
>workflow settings -
> refresh ornozational environment and then try to execute the workitem

  • You are not one of the possible agents of task 'WS20000081'

    Hi,
    I need to trigger the workflow WS20000081 using the service. This workflow gets triggered by 'Create Leave Request' service which is in ESS.
    To test the above said workflow, I need to execute the service WS20000081 in R/3. But when I execute this service from Service User log-on, it throws an error as follows.
    <b>You are not one of the possible agents of task 'WS20000081'.</b>
    Even after I changed the task assigment as 'General Task', it keeps giving the same error.
    Please suggest me how to solve this problem.
    Regards,
    jey

    There are agents assigned for a task in the workflow.The same role has been assigned to my user id.But it does not work
    I saw in Debug that it tries to execute the Method 'EXECUTE' in the Class CL_SWF_RUN_WORKFLOW_START..which checks for authorization internally.
    I never know why this is failing.
    I checked in another box which is upgraded to ECC .
    There inside the Method Execute it takes a parameter m_task->properties-general = 'X'
    and TCLASS = 'NO_CLASS'.These r passed to the authorization check which succeds there.
    But in this system m_task->properties-general  = '  ' and Tclass = '  '.
    Can anyone pls suggest how to go abt this.

  • ESS- Leave : You are not one of the possible agent for the task ws9021212?

    Hi ,
    I have copied the standard workflow template wa12300111 and assigned the new template in the customizing. When i apply leave from ESS working time , it says an error " You are not one of the possible agent for the task ws9021212? " .
    The similar kind of Error i have solved before in by making the workflow as GENERAL TASK in PFTC as follows.
    PFTC -> Choose "Workflow Template" from the drop down -> Enter the workflow template id "ws9021212" in the text box -> now click on "change" button -> Now goto the menu addional data -> agent assignment -> maintain -> select the task text -> and set it as general task.
    i have cleared the buffer also!
    BUT STILL I AM GETTING THE ERROR ?
    Please help me !

    hi Richard
    Try to do this way.  IN the workflow builder there is a button with hat. that is basic data. click on that and  it will go to another screen and u can find a apple button that is agent assignment for a task click that.
    It will open maintain agent assignment screen. click the text below that and click the attribute button and click the genral task. i think this will solve ur issue.
    If helpful kindly reward points

  • Unable send request, you are not one of the possible agents

    Hi,
    I am trying to configure workflow  for leave request, for my requirement i have to do some modifications to stadard workflow(12300111), so i copied it and made configuration settings in spro also, but when i create a leave from PTARQ transaction
    workflow is not getting created.
    when i debugged it, i got amessage saying 1) unable send request 2) you are not one of the possible agents
    Is there any other stting i have to do??
    Thanks,
    Krish.

    Hi Kishore,
    Please check below things.
    1. In the SPRO, have you maintained your workflow Template against the required leave type.
    2.Use CTRL + F2, and check is there any error in your workflow. Also check whether it is active or not.
    3. Check the workflow agent assignment in Basic data. It should be General Task.
    Thanks.

    Try making this task a General Task..use tcode PFTC and change the attribute of this task to a general task. That might help solve the issue.

  • Not one of the possible agents WS12300111

    This issue is very similar to the one described in following thread, although I already tried all the hints in that one:
    Dynamic Action.
    I have defined the wf as a general task as described in the other thread and I even put me and my entire org. unit in the agent selection screen. Still when I request an absence from the portal view I get the message that I am not one of the possible agents of the workflow.
    Now, I tried to view the workflow log to find errors but to my surprise the worklfow has not even been started at this point?!
    Can anyone help me out here? It does not make sense to me anymore.

    Hi Mike
    The error message corresponds to the workflow I select in PTARQ under customizing so at least I think it does try to start it. Then again - anything is possible at this point
    I read that I could use any user with SAP ALL but should preferrable stick to WF-BATCH. I'll change it back.
    I think this problem is getting weird. I'll take your advice and try again tomorrow and hope for the magic SAP goblin to do some trick overnight
    I'll be back if it does not work. Thanks so far.

  • You are not connected to the internet error

    Recently, my old Apple iMac 9.1 - OS X V10.5.8 - stopped connecting to the internet with error message "You are not connected to the Internet".
    Having checked all other devices on the WIFI network, there seems to be is no reason for issue.
    Now utilising ethernet cable, but with same error message.
    Is there any I am missing or a possible virus closing out all connections ...
    Can someone please provide any guidance ...

    The rule is, your Mac will try to send packets bound for the Internet to the Topmost Interface on
    System Preference > Network
    Be sure to re-order them so that Ethernet is on top if that is what  you intend to use:

  • Error: You are not a receiver of the work item in Leave Request Deletion

    Hi All,
    We are using customized leave request workflow which is the copy of standard leave request workflow.
    All tasks are assigned as general tasks and assigned in SWFVISU.
    But the employees are unable to delete the leave request with Sent status.
    Scenario:
    Employee applies leave.
    Now when the employee tries to delete / cancel the leave request before approval (Status is SENT), the employee is getting the error
    "You are not a receiver of the work item".
    This issue is happening for only the leaves which are in "SENT" status and though the employee is able to delete the "REJECTED" leave requests. The employee is also able to change / modify the leave requests without an issue.
    We are on EHP 7 with SP level 22 and running this on Portal 740.
    I have gone through the threads related to this issue but did not get any success.
    Please let me know if I am missing something that can resolve the issue .
    Regards,
    Anurag

    Hi Sid,
    As I mentioned above, we are on EHP 7 with SP 22 and hence the above note 1066288 does not apply in our case.
    Moreover, we're using WDA based application and the above note seems to be the one for XSS based on WDJ.

  • UWL workitem error: you are not a receiver of the work item

    I have created a workflow with 2 decision steps. When testing the workflow through the SAP inbox (SAP Business Workplace), when the first agent approve the workitem, it is forwarded to the second agent who can also approve or refuse the workitem, which then ends the workflow.
    When testing the same process in the portal UWL, the first agent receive the workitem and approve it. The second agent receive then the workitem, but when I open it to approve it, I have this error message: "you are not receiver of the workitem" !!
    How come I am the right receiver of the workitem in R/3 and not in the portal ? We are using a CUA so users in the portal and R/3 are the same, the webflow connector is working, SSO has been set up.
    Thanks in advance for your help.
    Thibault

    I have registered a UserDecisionHandler to display the task. Now the error message is gone and I am the receiver of the workitem. But the new problem is that when I try to approve or reject the workitem, I get this new error message:
    Function is obsolete (successor: SAP_WAPI_DECISION_COMPLETE). It looks like the handler is trying to use a former function but I have no idea where I can find which function is called to process the decision.
    Any ideas ?
    Thanks in advance for your help.

  • When I try to launch terminal, i get an error "You are not authorized to run this applicationThe administrator has set your shell to an illegal value."

    When I try to launch terminal, i get an error "You are not authorized to run this applicationThe administrator has set your shell to an illegal value."

    If you'd asked a question in your original post it might have solicited more pertinent responses. As it is, you were stating a fact. No one knew whether you considered that fact a problem, or what you were hoping to gain by doing so.
    The simple addition of 'can anyone help me fix this so I can run Terminal' would have counted for a lot.
    As it is, your solution is likely to require the Terminal, so you're going to need to fix that one way or another. The simplest would be to create a new admin account (System Preferences -> Users & Groups) then log in using that account.
    Then try and launch the terminal. If that works the problem is specific to your original account and can likely be fixed via some command-line tweaking. I'd start with:
    dscl . read /Users/<username>
    (where <username> is the short name of the account having a problem). This will show the records in the directory data for your account, one of which will be UserShell. Chances are that value is invalid, or missing, and can be corrected via:
    sudo dscl . -change /Users/<username> UserShell <currentValue> /bin/bash
    (where <currentValue) is the current setting for UserShell) which will change the user's shell to /bin/bash (the default).
    Of course, you might already know this and already tried, but since you didn't say so in your original post it's worth checking.

    Kirk,
    One correction, you can access the same Internet Options from the Control Panel without opening Internet Explorer. These are the global internet/proxy settings for the computer.
    Are you using a router by any chance? If so which model?
    I found the following on another thread and it worked
    for me.
    Problem solved:
    1.) Open Internet Explorer (6.x or 7.0 Beta 3)
    2.) Click on Tools -> Internet Options
    3.) Click on the Connections Tab
    4.) Click on the LAN Settings button
    5.) Check Automatically Detect Settings
    6.) Click on OK -> OK
    7.) Reload iTunes
    8.) Update
    Thanks!!!

  • "itunes could not contact the ipod software update server because you are not connected to the internet" Help?

    Hello all, new to the forums.
    I've been recieving the error message "itunes could not contact the ipod software update server because you are not connected to the internet". This problem didn't occur at all for the past 2 years of using itunes.
    I've already scanned through numerous websites and forums for help, but none of them worked.
    This  set of instructions resulted in no change to any of the problems, though iTunes lists that as the supposed solution.
    # Open Internet Options from control panel.
    # Click the Connections tab.
    # Click the LAN Settings button.
    # Select the Automatically detect settings checkbox.
    Others include installing IE7, which that didn't work either.
    Can anyone help?

  • Solved: message "You are not connected to the Internet" after idle sleep

    Summary: What worked for me was to turn off IPv4 and IPv6 on my unused interface.
    The problem was that after my computer had been in sleep mode, Safari would say:
    "You are not connected to the Internet."
    or "softwareupdate -l" would say:
    "This computer’s Internet connection appears to be offline."
    Yet Firefox worked OK and traceroute also showed the connection was fine.
    Digging deeper (though only later, after I found the command), "scutil -r" indicated a problem with DNS lookup:
    $ scutil -r developer.apple.com
    Not Reachable
    $ scutil -r 17.254.2.129
    Reachable
    I'm using 10.6.6 on a Mini (model Macmini1,1), which has a wired ethernet connection on en0 and an AirPort on en1. I use the wired connection, but I also configured the AirPort just because, and then turned it off in the network preferences. I use a static (manually-configured) IPv4 address on en0 and DHCP on en1 (when it's up, which is only for experimenting). I don't use IPv6 as such, though I've left it enabled.
    I was initially confused, thinking the problem was intermittent, though it's not. I tended to assume that because the display had gone into standby the computer must be sleeping, without checking that the power light was dimming and brightening, indicating sleep mode. Later I found the "pmset -g" command to display the power management settings. Among the settings is:
    ttyskeepawake 1
    This means that if I had a shell session open in Terminal, which I did quite often when investigating the problem, the computer put itself into idle sleep later than if I didn't have the session open. The times in Energy Saver settings in System Preferences seem not to be very accurate anyway. For instance, with the default computer sleep and display sleep settings of 10 minutes and a shell session open, I've seen it take 17m25s for the display to blank and a further 14m16s for the computer to sleep, for a total of 31m41s.
    The problem only occurs after an idle wait. It doesn't occur after a software sleep (entered from the Sleep entry in the Apple menu or using the keyboard shortcut) or after pressing the power button momentarily.
    One way I found to fix the problem was to turn the AirPort on and then off again through Network Preferences (or the menu bar item). Later I found that disconnecting and reconnecting the ethernet cable also fixed the problem. I hoped to find a better way.
    What led me to this halfway house solution was noticing that if I turned the AirPort on and then off again, entries for en1 still remained in the routing table. These entries were for IPv6 link-local and multicast networks, as in this edited output from "netstat -nr":
    Internet6:
    Destination Gateway Flags Netif Expire
    ::1 ::1 UH lo0
    fe80::%lo0/64 fe80::1%lo0 Uc lo0
    fe80::1%lo0 link#1 UHL lo0
    fe80::%en0/64 link#4 UC en0
    fe80::216:cbff:fexx:xxxx%en0 0:16:cb:xx:xx:xx UHL lo0
    fe80::%en1/64 link#6 UC en1
    ff01::/32 ::1 Um lo0
    ff02::/32 ::1 UmC lo0
    ff02::/32 link#4 UmC en0
    ff02::/32 link#6 UmC en1
    Even with the AirPort switched off, ifconfig showed it as being up:
    en1: flags=8863<UP,BROADCAST,SMART,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
    ether 00:17:f2:xx:xx:xx
    media: autoselect (<unknown type>)
    status: inactive
    I don't know if these observations are relevant, but anyway they led me to the solution (well, workaround). The way I finally fixed the problem was as follows.
    1. Create a new location in Network Preferences. (This isn't strictly necessary, but it allowed me to keep the AirPort configuration (including my wireless password) intact in the default Automatic location.)
    * Click on the Location pull-down
    * Click Edit Locations...
    * Click +
    * Enter new location name (I called mine Wired-static)
    2. Configure the Ethernet interface with its static address. (If using DHCP, I'd have skipped this step as DHCP is the default.)
    3. Go to the AirPort configuration (even though it's shown as Off).
    * Click on Advanced
    * Click on TCP/IP
    * Select Off for both IPv4 and IPv6
    4. After clicking Apply in Network Preferences, a new "Location" item appears in the Apple menu between "Dock" and "Recent Items". Select the new location. This setting sticks across boots.
    I hope this helps anyone else in a similar situation. Maybe if you use wireless it would help to turn off IPv4 and IPv6 on the Ethernet interface?

    Try:
    - A reset. Nothing is lost
    Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Power off and then back on the router
    - Reset Network Settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
    - iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
    - iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
    - DId the iPod ever successfully connect to the network?
    - Does the iPod successfully connect to other networks?
    - Do other devices successfully connect with your network?

  • "You are not connected to the internet"....sometimes.

    I've had to write this in IE on XP in Parallels as it is the only reliable way I can access the web. Since upgrading to 10.6, Safari (and Firefox to a lesser extent) has been giving me frequent (and instant) "You are not connected to the internet" errors. If I try another site I may get there straight away and then re-trying the original site may get me there. Or not. Very intermittent. Also, when finally accessed some sites aren't rendering properly. Right now in Safari I have Apple's site up with 18 errors, no graphics, default fonts, no layout. Activity shows the errors as "This computer's internet connection appears to be" - the rest of the message cannot be seen.
    The other way I could have posted this is to use my wife's MacBook running 10.5 - no problems there. It's almost like it wants an instant DNS lookup and if that isn't forthcoming it spits. But then, why "not connected"? Wouldn't it be "Server cannot be contacted"? What is it that prompts Safari to believe the internet is not connected. This is a major pain!

    This is interesting! Something is not correct here. Either the time I took to back-up on Time Machine prior to installing OS X 10.6 caused my MacBook Pro to overheat overnight or the OS X 10.6 has a problem with the ethernet card or internet. To clarify, I have yesterday and today upgraded a MacBook Pro, iMac and MiniMac with OS X 10.6. The only problem I have is the MacBook Pro will not connect to the internet via cable to the router. All the machines including the MacBook Pro connect via ethernet or WiFi to my network no problem. The MacBook Pro even connects to the internet via WiFi but not ethernet. So I suspect overheating!. See what transpires when I start it up again.
