Errors in Importing Web Services to Composite Application

Hi Everyone,
I have created a CAF and exposed its operations as Web Services using CE 7.1 EhP1 SP2 platform.
Now I would like to import the web services into another CAF project as external service in the same CE AS.
The following are the error messages I have encountered during the importing of the service:

Can anyone give me some guides on how to solve this problem?
Thank you very much.

Hi Andre,
Thanks for the reply,
<b>but the scenerio is like this,</b>
I have some web services which are talking to MDM,
like create, update and delete master data in MDM,
Now I want to create a CAF application using Guided procedures and want to put it on Portal,
So that different actions can be done based on authorizations,
<b>Now what I have done</b>
I have created a CAF application in which for each webservice, I have created an entity service then an application service,
so that I can create Callable Objects for those app services and then create a GP,
<b>Now where I am stucked?</b>
After creating entity service, when I create a record in entity service, so that corressponding webservice mapped can be run, I get this error
<b>Error: Invalid Address</b>
Now please tell me where i am wrong?
Am I following the right approach?
Please advice..
waiting for the valuable opinion.
Thanks,
Deepak

  • Error when importing Web Service Model

    Hi,
    I am having trouble importing a Web Service model into my Web Dynpro component.
    I have successfully published my SessionBean method as a Web Service which works correctly when used from the Web AS Web Service Navigator.
    However, my Web Dynpro cannot correctly create a model from the WSDL. The problem seems to be with the last parameter of the method, a two-dimensional array of Strings. When importing the web service model, the following line of code get created in the respective Model class:
    logicalPort.generateMetadata(this.getKeywordsAsArray(), this.srcLang, this.getTgtLangAsArray(), ERROR no prop = parameters
    Obviously there is a problem with the code generation for the last parameter (the two-dimensional array) which results in this "ERROR no prop = parameters" message.
    Does anyone have an idea what I might be doing wrong? Is there a problem with multidimensional arrays in Web Dynpro model classes? I originally wanted to use a HashMap but naturally had to use a simple data type - any other ideas for a workaround?
    Cheers,
    Tim

    Hi,
    First, can you check whether you able to access your web service url in browser?
    or
    you can test your webservice from the NWDI Web service perspective, here you can test your web service is correctly functioning or not before using in your Web Dynpro application.
    This document clearly explains How to test the web service url and what is the correct procedure to consume the web service in SAP portal.

  • Error while deploying web service in Netweaver application

    Hi,
    In my group, two members working in the development of a WebDynpro based application.  We have created a track and are using the same for development. For our application
    the team member 1 created a Dc say DC1 for EJBS(both
    entity and session) and another DC say DC2 for the application archieve 'ear'
    and activated the two DCS. When another member of
    the team is trying to create a webservice in the checked out DC, the
    webservice was created successfully but while deploying the
    application archive DC it gives an error (details furnished below).
    Error:
    :Caught exception during application deployment from SAP J2EE Engine's
    deploy service:java.rmi.RemoteException: Cannot deploy
    application asianpaints.com/pe_mgt_ear.. Reason: Webservices common
    deployment exception! The reason is: Error occurred,
    trying to update web services for application

    for application asianpaints.com/pe_mgt_ear.
    WSDeploymentException: Webservices common deployment exception! The
    reason is: Error occurred, trying to parse documentation
    for web service NewPEProcessorService. .
    So we created one more DC3(referring the entity beans of DC1) and
    created the required session bean and webservice in that
    DC. It got deployed successfully. Again when we are trying to create
    new webservice it got created but the deployment got
    aborted with the same error as mentioned above:
    The detailed error description we got in both the cases is given below:

    Hi,
    You can go to the Visual Administrator -> <SID> -> Server -> Services -> Deploy -> Runtime tab -> option Container at the bottom and see if everything is correct and running in the webservices_container.
    If something necessary to the deployment is not started you can select it and click in start.
    I hope it helps.
    Thanks,
    Anderson

  • ERROR DEPLOYING A WEB SERVICE (SOA Order Booking application)

    Hi everyone...
    I got some problem here, I hope somebody help me...
    So...
    I've quite laboriously managed to get SOA Suite installed and I'm half way through the deployment of the order
    booking demo, and encountered an error that I can't find a reference to in
    online searches. I'm up to the step "4. Deploy the Credit Service application"
    and get the following error:

    So, does anyone can tell me what am I have to do?!
    Regards...

    I am currently having the same problem with the SOA Order booking demo application. All of the installation went fine until I tried to run the web client. Whenever I try to access http://localhost:8888/soademo, I get a 500 internal server error.
    Did you ever find a solution for this problem?
    Thanks in advance!

  • Import web service from service registry into web dynpro

    HI, when i import web service into web dynpro model, it asks me to create service group or if i choose no service group configure, it ask me the destionation for metadata and excution. i import service from service registry. what does the service configuration mean? and if i choose no service group, where should i configure the destination?thanks

    Hi Lei,
    The metadata and execution destinations are relevant for runtime. On runtime you web dynpro application will access the web services you imported via these two destinations.
    You can configure the metadata and execution destinations in the following location:
    login on the CE system Netweaver Administrator: http://hostname:portnumber/nwa
    On NWA navigate to SOA Management --> Technical Configuration --> Destination Template Management.
    In this section of NWA you can define the Metadata and Execution destinations for your web services.

  • Consume Web Service in EJB Application

    Hi Experts,
    I have EJB Application with some Java Classes.My Requirement is to Consume Web Service in EJB Application.
    I am new to EJB Application.Please share if have any ideas regarding the same.
    Thanks & Regards,
    SatheshKumar R

    Hi Vijay,
    Thanks for the Reply.
    Please provide the JAR Files i need to add.
    I had tried to consume the web service by using the java class in Java Project ie EJB.
    After creating the Project i will import the WSDL file in that Project and create the Client Application.
    The Request and Response java class is created by importing the WSDL file.
    The Client Java Class is created to access the Request and Response objects.
    After this Main class is created and I have run the application to execute the Client Java Class. During this time its shows some error.
    The Error Message are:

  • Coonection reset error when calling web services

    Hi,
    I am newbie to web services.
    I am calling the web service in my application.
    I had imported the certificates into my runtime JVM using keytool and having the host entry also.
    While hitting our application (where I am calling the external web service), the following connection reset error is logged in the console,
    WebServicesFault
    faultCode: Server.generalException
    faultString: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset
    faultActor: null
    faultDetail:
    java.net.SocketException: Connection reset
    at com.ibm.ws.webservices.engine.WebServicesFault.makeFault(WebServicesFault.java:156)
    at com.ibm.ws.webservices.engine.transport.http.HTTP11Sender.invoke(HTTP11Sender.java:294)
    Can anybody help me to trace this problem? what could be the cause for this? Did it require any other configuration such as in java.security , java.policy?
    Help me.
    Thanks in advance.
    Alice.

    If you attempt to retry the stalled component through adminui, it will work. Am i correct?
    If so, you can test the following approach.
    1. drag a blank component (e.g a decision point)
    2. connect a line between the exception of the Web Service Invoke operation to the decision point.
    3. Choose java.io.IOException from the eeception drop down.
    4. again connect the decision point back to the web service invoke component. (i mean a looping)
    This approach was working fine with me.
    Please see the attached image shows my routing.
    PS: After a couple of days, I tested without looping and it seems to be working. So I removed the loop now.
    Thanks,
    Nith

  • How to deploy a web service on Oracle Application Server 10.1.2.0.2?

    Hi everyone,
    I followed the instructions of the following link to create a web service using jDeveloper 10.1.3.1.0 on Oracle Application Server 10.1.2.0.2. [http://st-curriculum.oracle.com/obe/jdev/obe1013jdev/10131/devdepandmanagingws/devdepandmanagingws.htm#t1]
    The web service created was deployed & used with no errors on the standalone OC4J instance.
    But my goal is to deploy my web service on Oracle Application Server 10.1.2.0.2.
    So after several attempts, I was able to deploy it on the Oracle Application Server 10.1.2.0.2 but unfortunately I didn't know the URL needed to use the web service.
    I tried the following link (http://192.168.0.91:18100/JavaWebService-GetDates-context-root/GetDatesWSSoapHttpPort) but also didn't work :(
    I also tried converting to J2EE 1.3 and still not knowing how to access the web service.
    Please advice with a solution.
    Thanks in advance.
    Lana

    Thanks everyone for your help :)
    The problem turned out to be that Oracle application server 10.1.2 is unlike the others servers, it uses 2 ports:
    - port (19100) is dedicated for the console.
    - port (7779) is to view your applications.
    So the URL needed turned out to be "http://acteos-109.beirut.acteos:7779/beanTest" instead of "http://acteos-109.beirut.acteos:18100/beanTest"
    Hope this info is useful

  • Error while calling Web Service

    Hi All,
    We have downloaded the WSDL file corresponding to the Web Service from the Application Server through transaction: SOAMANAGER.
    And we integrated this WSDL in our AIF(Adobe Interactive Form). but when we click on the Button which calls this Web service, we get no response at all.
    We also tried using the Button which automatically comes when we create a Data Connection. But it gives the following error:
    Error attempting to read from filehttp://<SOAP address which is there in the WSDL>
    Please help.

    Hi,
    If you rae using the transaction SOAMANAGER then you need to use to URL's.
    For creating the dataconnection in the Adobe Form use the URL or the WSDL code from SOAMANAGER Transaction.
    And at runtine i.e. when a enduser performs any action like if he clicks on submit then you must use the URL from SICF Transaction Code, to trigger the Submit button then you must write Javascript or FormCalc Script for a button. In scripting use this URL(got from SICF).

  • Errors calling oracle web service from pl/sql

    Oracle application server version 10.1.2.2.0
    Jdeveloper version 10.1.2.1.0
    I have published a function of an oracle database package as a web service using jdeveloper by creating a connection to my database and right clicking on the package and selecting publish as a web service. I accepted all the defaults and deployed the web service to my application server also using jdeveloper. I have been able to invoke the web service from the url which was generated.
    I now want to invoke this web service from another pl/sql procedure in the same database as the function I've published as a web service using the utl_dbws facility but get the following error
    ORA-29532: Java call terminated by uncaught Java exception: javax.xml.rpc.soap.SOAPFaultException: No Deserializer found to deserialize a 'http://fujibox09/FinalTestWS-Project-context-root/FinalTestWS/:p_group_id' using encoding style 'null'. [java.lang.IllegalArgumentException]
    I have amended the wsdl to look like this

    Hi,
    On way we can call a web service is to pass the Web Service URL to UTL_HTTP package:
    Sample Web Service URL
    ===================
    lv_url :=
    'http://67.97.189.151:8888/plsqlsample/dbfunc?invoke=placeOrder'
    || '&'
    || 'param0=1'
    || '&'
    || 'param1=1'
    || '&'
    || 'param2=1';
    Sample Call using UTL_HTTP
    =====================
    SELECT UTL_HTTP.request (lv_url)
    INTO lv_result
    FROM DUAL;
    Thank you.

  • Error when creating web service client in netbeans

    i tried to create a web service client from a wsdl and an error pops up:
    web service client can not be created by jaxws:wsimport utility.
    reason: com.sun.tools.xjc.api.schemacompiler.resetschema()v
    There might be a problem during java artifacts creation: for example a name conflict in generated classes.
    To detect the problem see also the error messages in output window.
    You may be able to fix the problem in WSDL Customization dialog
    (Edit Web Service Attributes action)
    or by manual editing of the local wsdl or schema files, using the JAXB customization
    (local wsdl and schema files are located in xml-resources directory).
    end of error message
    I am using netbeans 6.0 RC 2 and the bundled tomcat 6.0.13. Please help me.

    Hi Yatan
    The error is mostly there may be some Duplicate variable/schema element decalared in the wsdl or the xsd referred in the wsdl. Like in WSDL for any Operations, most of the times, we use input and outputs as complex xsd element. We declare these xsd in the same file or in another file and import that in the .wsdl file. So check or validate your XSD file for any Duplicates.
    In JDeveloper itself, I think, you can open XSD or WSDL and validate it from right click menu options like that.
    Thanks
    Ravi Jegga
