The above is an error recieved when trying to compile the orange code from the synce project. The libole2 is installed as version 2.2.8 and I have tried 0.2.4 just for reference and it makes no difference. It would seem that libole2-config is just not there. I'm not sure how to fix this error but would like it if someone else could give any advice..

Well, I managed to get it to compile from CVS and it seems to run correctly. I may do a little bit more polishing and post the PKGBUILDs on the AUR.
Note: Seems libole2 was replaced by libgsf in the newest CVS.

  • RoboHelp 9/10 Java Error Trying to Compile AIR Help Skin

    I'm trying to save a custom skin for a RoboHelp 9 project on a Windows 7 64-bit PC using AIR Browser Based Help. When I try to save the skin, or compile it into a SWF, I get the following error:
    Error loading: C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_09\jre\bin\jvm.dll
    The dll is located at that path. I tried running RoboHelp as Administrator. I tried editing a new skin with a new clean project and also with a downloaded trial of RoboHelp 10, and I got the same results. Has anyone seen this, or can anyone think of a fix?

    Hello hypericon_0090001,
    Have you found any fix for this, as I am having the same problem.

  • [solved] Error Trying to Compile Video For Linux.

    I have a new TV card and I need to patch v4l to get it working. When I run the build script I get:
    Preparing to compile for kernel version 3.7.9
    File not found: /lib/modules/3.7.9-1-ARCH/build/.config at ./scripts/make_kconfig.pl line 33, <IN> line 4.
    Usually this means that I you don't have linux-headers installed but:
    scamper2 src/media_build ‹master*› » pacman -Ss linux-headers
    core/linux-headers 3.7.9-2 [installed]
    However, /lib/modules/3.7.9-1-ARCH/ doesn't have a build directory. Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong?

Sorry for the grumpy tone, but i've been battling with this and trawling the web for about 5 hours now, and its 1am...

    it compiled, but i get the same kernel panic when i use this on the end of my boot line:
    splash=verbose,theme:darch console=tty1
    And the error is:
    kinit: nuking initramfs contents, directory not empty
    Kernel Panic - not syncing: attempted to kill init
    Also, just trying to run "/etc/rc.d/fbsplash start" gives me "line 6: splash_check not found"
    again, any help appreciated.

  • Getting error message Cannot Resolve Symbol when trying to compile a class

    Hello All -
    I am getting an error message cannot resolve symbol while trying to compile a java class that calls another java class in the same package. The called class compiles fine, but the calling class generates
    the following error message:
    D:\Apache Tomcat 4.0\webapps\examples\WEB-INF\classes\cal>javac

    ConnectionPool.java:144: cannot resolve symbol
    symbol : class PooledConnection

    The code is listed as follows for PooledConnection.java (it compiles fine)
    package cal;
    import java.sql.*;
    public class PooledConnection {
    // Real JDBC Connection

    Is ConnectionPool in this "cal" package as well as PooledConnection? From the directory you are compiling from it appears that it is. If it is, then you are compiling it incorrectly. To compile ConnectionPool (and PooledConnection similarly), you must change the current directory to the one that contains cal and type
    javac cal/ConnectionPool.

    Try here:
    iTunes: Unable to sync photos
    Usually deleting the iPod Photo Cache Folder works. Note that if you sync via the folder method, make sure you dlete all the ifolders since :
    The iPod Photo Cache stores the photos that are optimized for display on your iPod, iPad, or iPhone. The location of this folder depends on the syncing options you select. In iTunes, if you change the selection in the “Sync Photos From” pop-up menu, a new iPod Photo Cache folder will be created (and the previous folder will remain).

  • Suffering an complie error when trying to compile java class in EBS11i

    Hi,
    When I trying to compile java classes with which imported the HttpServletResponse class, will get the follow error message:

    resolved this issue.
    1. Edit $APPL_TOP/admin/adovars.env file -
    Add the following jar files to the AF_CLASSPATH line -
    Full path of /...../iAS/Apache/Jsdk/lib/jsdk.jar
    Full path of /...../iAS/Apache/Jserv/libexec/ApacheJServ.jar
    2. Bounce the concurrent manager in order to have the changes take effect.

    Question:
    When I sync with my iphone I get an error reporting message but the sync still works.  After trying to download 10.6.3 Mac OSX Snow Leopard, this message appears every few seconds as long as Entourage is open.  This continues until I quit Entourage.  How do I turn this message off? It interferes with any other work I am doing.   I appreciate any suggestions.

    I only have one video project that I ever published to iDisk. It didn't have any music or photo files attatched to it, just a few clips stitched together. I can play these clips right now in the Event Library (so I know the source files are on my computer), but strangely, under the Project Library, the project is not there. I'm almost certain that I didn't store the project on iDisk; I just completed the video and published it to iDisk (as a .mov file I think) for family to see. I've tried to figure out how to get iDisk to stop looking for this project to no avail.
    I don't know if others have experienced this, but if I click on any project and on the menu bar select Share --> Remove From --> Media Browser... it lists iPod, iPhone, iPad, tv, Computer and MobileMe. Why would MobileMe be an option here? This is the case for any video project I select. Didn't iLife '11 and/or OSX 10.8 remove all mention of MobileMe? I wonder if this is part of the problem too.
    Edit: I just removed every project I have from the Media Browser. Still no luck.

  • Unknown sync error -- Tried everything (?)

    I've recently switched from Chrome to Firefox to try and get as far away from Google as possible. There, I never had any issues with syncing across devices and platforms.
    On my Windows desktop, syncing never fails. On my MacBook Air, it always says, along the bottom of the window, that an unknown error has occurred.
    I did have the Keychain Services Integration add-on installed, but removed it because I thought that that might be why. Still, I get an unknown error. I removed *every* Firefox-related file on my MBA and got everything going again (minus that add-on), and it still throws an error. I also tried deleting the profile and creating a new one, resulting in the same error. Lastly, I tried the PlacesCleaner add-on, also with the same results.
    I'd attach a sync log, but it seems like some of what's in it might be private.
    Any ideas?

    You could '''Unlink''' that MBA from Sync, then restart Firefox on the MBA and then re-connect to your Sync account, to see if that helps.
    There's no private information in Sync error logs, but most of those logs contain more characters that these "Post a Reply" boxes can handle and the formatting might not carry thru when posted.
    In the second column of the Error log look thru the '''Sync.Status''' items for the first listed ERROR; subsequent ERROR listings might be of interest. Also, any '''Sync.ErrorHandler''' lines might have information we can use.

  • Error when trying to compile HTML help

    I'm using RoboHelp 7.0 on Windows XP. All of the sudden, last
    week, I start getting the following error when I try to compile
    "Fatal Error: Unexpected error from Microsoft HTML compiler." I've
    read the other posts regarding this error and deleted the .CPD file
    multiple times and tried to compile again still with no success.
    I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and not had any
    better results. The other author in my office can check the project
    out of RoboSource and compile it fine. I have it on my local drive
    when trying to compile.
    I'd appreciate any ideas. It doesn't make sense that is
    something in the project since my other author can compile it fine.
    Thanks,
    Nita

    Hi, Nita,
    Do you have any other RoboHelp projects that you can try
    compiling? This may help to determine whether there's something
    slightly askew about this particular project — sounds
    unlikely if your colleague can compile without error — or
    whether the problem lies in your RoboHelp installation.
    I'd also recommend that you run MJ's Help Diagnostics,
    available from the address below. This will verify that all the
    HTML Help viewer and compiler components are properly installed and
    registered on your machine.
