  • Disable availability check in UWL on rejecting shopping cart

    Dear all,
We are using SRM 7.0 and the portal in an approval workflow for shopping carts. On ECC side we create reservations for stock - materials.
Now we have the problem that in the UWL a availability check is started when the user approves or rejects the shopping cart. This is a problem when he wants to reject a shopping cart, which has been created some time ago and the articles aren't available anymore. In this case an error message is shown:
/sapsrm/cx_pdo_error Document check returned at least one error message.  The action can not be carried out. For more details, see message area Availability check for 05.01.2011:                   7 ST. Lead time for                  30 ST: 14.01.2011. Availability check for 05.01.2011:                   7 ST. Lead time for                  30 ST: 14.01.2011.
How can we disable this availability check on approving and/or rejecting shopping carts?
Thank you very much for your help.
    Best regards,
    Thomas

You may wish to post your question in the SRM forum for quicker assistance or open an OSS message at service.sap.com to see if they can assit you.
Depending on your SRM scenario EBP / SUS you can configure your approval mgt at different locations.

In the portal the UWL is mapped to the Workflow so you may be in a position to adjust the Business Workflow for your situation. Have a chat to yoru ABAP'ers or SRM/Workflow specialists in your company.
Just a question. Is there any reason why you cannot manage the shopping cart and remove the entries in error then reject it? It may well have been that those entries cannot be rejected because they have already been issued/receipted/invoiced - again this depends on the status of the W/F for the specific cart. I would imagine if you outright disabled the approval check your situatation will bring other challenges.

  • Archiving Evaluated Receipt Settlements (Apprentice project)

    Hi all,
I have a few questions regarding the archiving of Evaluated Receipt Settlements (ERS) in SRM.
I'm trying to Archive the PDF document that is sent to the vendor.
    My question are as follows:
    1) Is BBP_INV the correct archiving object for ERS or do I Need to create a custom one?
    2) When trying to Change the spool mode from "Mail" to "Mail and Archive", I have to fill the attached fields.
What do I have to fill in "Archive object type" ? I can choose e.g. BUS2207, which is our ERS object. But is that correct?
    3) Where / How can I manage where the files are stored? Can I store them based on criteria like vendor, date, ERS number and so on, or does this have to be customized?
    4) In our old System, we already have the Archive linked to the System. But for the new one, I Need to do it. What steps have to be taken to implement the HTTP Content Server? I know I have to define Content Repository and define it via CSADMIN but that can't be all right?
I would appreciate help for any answer. You don't have to answer all of them. Every helpful answer will be rewarded with a star
    THANKS in advance!

Thank you so much, this brought me a leap Forward.
So the Business object should be the BUS2207, right? This is our Business object for ERS. We don't have BUS2081, what is that?
edit: Wait, what is the difference between Business Object and Archiving Object? We do not have an archiving object vor ERS.
To clarify: We do not book in SRM, we are sending it per Idoc to another SAP System where the booking takes place.
We are just creating the PDF out of the BUS2207 and sending it to the vendor via RSPPFPROCESS and Action "BBP_ERS".
Can you tell me where I can see detailed Information for the Archive Connection? I have the entry in OAC0 with IP address and all. But we have no records of ever archiving in this System so how can I see Connection details and test it?
I also have to analyze if ArchiveLink is already set up and working..
Also, where do I define how the files are saved in the storage System? With this I mean like in which Content repositories / Folders and so on they are saved.
What Information are given to the PDF? All document informations, like Dates invoice number and so on? How can I use them for my Archive structure?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Service SRM PO fail to replicate to SAP with error"Tax code Mand. for ERS"

    HI
We are facing issue for posting Serviice PO with vendor enabled with ERS functionality.
Service purchase orders with ERS flag and with complete tax detail fail to replicate to MM PO. Error found on XML on ECC interface : "Enter Tax code in case of Evaluated receipt settlement".
We have compelete tax details on the XML which is not recognized. When we manually feed the details in dubug it allows to post the document.
PO is created with account assigned service item.
Have any one come across simialr situation.
    Regards
    Prashanth K Saralaya

    Hi Prashanth,
Do you have tax code maintained in SRM PO. SRM PO is pushed to ERP using RFC Calls and not XML(in standard scenarios). I am wondering why XML is being checked in debug mode by you for a SRM PO to make it to ERP.
May I have the background of your requirement..

  • ERS Automatic Settlement and adding tax code to SRM PO

    Hi.
For ERS Automatic Settlement, the ERS flag has been acticvated on the Vendor master and BP records. The issue we now have is that for new PO's for this ERS supplier, the system gives the error message [Enter a tax code for automatic settlement].
I cannot find the drop down field on the SRM PO screen where the end user can enter in this tax code value (as end users do not enter this on Cart). How do I set this value? Up until now, all tax code selection & amount was entered in the SAP backend invoice screens with MIRO, therefore not part of SRM, but ERS will change this.
    We have deployed SRM 5.0.
    Thank you.
    Dave.

    Hi Dave
As per i know TAX validation is required for ERS settlement in standard SRM.
Enterprise Buyer automatically posts the invoice on the basis of the purchase order and the confirmation. ERS within Enterprise Buyer applies to local purchase orders and confirmations.
Determines invoice amount for this ordering transaction from price entered on PO, terms of
payment, tax information, and delivery quantity. ERS must be specified on the business partner
    master record.
Purchase orders generated in the back end system can be settled using the ERS functionality within
    this back end.
ERS only recommended when you and your vendor have a clear agreement on the conditions.
please check it out any BADI to resolve this since sap code checks if ers then looks tax information also. as you said earlier you dont have any information on sc ( does not have tax). if sc has tax it would have copied into po.

  • SRM ERS Purchase order / SRM Document Control flags

    Hi,
We are using ECC 6.0 and SRM 5.0.
Which flags should be set in SRM when raising an ERS PO.
    The options are:
    PO Response
    Shipping Notif.
    Confirm Performance of Service/Goods Receipt
    Invoice Expected
    Confirmation-Related Invoice Verification
    Automatic Settlement
Which flags should be set for normal MIRO invoice matching?
    What do they all mean?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
PO Response  -- flag if you are expecting a response to PO to be entered in the sytem
Shipping Notif. --flag if you are expecting a shipping notification to be sent by u r vendor
Confirm Performance of Service/Goods Receipt --- flag if u are excpecting a GR
Invoice Expected -- flag if u are expecting a invoice documnet
Confirmation-Related Invoice Verification -- check for GR based invoice verification
    Automatic Settlement - for ERS

  • ERS indicator of PO item is not checked for Contract assigned SRM POs.

    Hi Team
We have SRM PO which is assigned to contract as source of supply and vendor for the contract document is assigned with ERS functionality (Aut. setlement in vendor master) for Invoice settlement.
Issue faced: When the contract is selected as sources of supply for Shopping cart and ordered as release order in MM (classic deployment) MM PO line ERS flag is not defaulted. Scenario works for normal procurement with vendor assigned Purchase orders.
Did any one faced similar issue in their landscape.
    Regards
    Prashanth K Saralaya

I think this  is one of the vendor data synchronisation issue like OA vendor .
Vendor master team might change some data but in contract it will not be synched automaticaly. we may require action on CONTRACT equivalent to vendor master maintenance.
if the contract has ERS .It might be available in PO too when you refer contract.
debate come here like who takes precedence vendor master or contract ?
However customer may expect this ERS falg has to set in the contract as well as it may replicate the same in po as well.
for testing manually EDIT via ECC contract and flag ERS.

  • Creation of multiple contracts in ERP backend from 1 GOA in SRM

Hello fellow SRM'ers, we are on SRM 5.5 and we have a scenario where we create a GOA in SRM and it get's created as a contract in the ERP backend system.  This is working fine.  Now our client would like to have multiple contracts created in the backend, one for each company when the GOA is saved.  I found OSS note 646903, statement #2 that explains how to code the badi bbp_ctr, but is this all that is required to do this?  It seems to me that the code in BBP_CTR will only create 1 contract/idoc.  Can anyone tell me how we generate an idoc/contract that we want to create in ERP backend?  Or is this how it's done?
Points will be rewarded for usefull answers.  I have read most of the posts on this forum and have not found any answers yet.
    Thanks,
    Marty

    Hi,
Please go through the below explanation from SAP documentation which says the no of contracts that would be created in the backend depends on
--If you activate grouping logic for locations in GOA from SPRO under cross aplication settings, items belonging to the same release-authorized purchasing organization, but different locations, can be grouped together into one backend contract. This requires a 1:1:1 relationship between an item, the release-authorized purchasing organization, and the location. This means that for each item, you can only assign one release-authorized purchasing organization, and one location, in order to release the GOA.
If you do not select this indicator to activate the grouping logic for location, a separate backend contract is created for each item belonging to the same release-authorized purchasing organization, but with different locations. Only items referring to the same release-authorized purchasing organization and location can be combined into one backend contract.---
So the bottomline is by default, when we distribute one separate contract is created for each location.
    Hope this clarifies.

  • Service procurement & implementation scenario in SRM 7.0

    Hi Guys,
I would like to know if in SRM 7.0 the new Service Procurement External Staffing scenario would work in the Extended classic scenario implementation? Or is this only supported in standalone?
Do we have to custom build the document exchange between ECC - SRM - SUS for confirmation and invoice documents like in SRM 5.0. I am searching for a possibilty to let the service agents themselfs fill in the confirmation with the service entry sheet.
If the extended classic scenario is supported then we are quickly done. Other possibility is to let an existing web application (to capture time sheets) generate a XML confirmation message and send this message to EBP via XI. This way the hours can also be captured. Invoicing can then by handled e.g. by ERS. What do you think?
    Thx.
    Skander

    Hi Muthu,
Thx for your response, but these blogs do not provide an anwser to my question. I have read the release documentation of SRM 7.0, but even then I still have the above question.
Will this business scenario work in combination witht the extended classsic scenario (and how does SUS fits in this picture)?
    Kind Regards,

  • Archiving of spool requests (ERS documents) Apprentice Project HELP needed..

    Hi guys,
I'm an apprentice from Germany and I have to do a project for my final exams. I could desparetly Need some help on getting started.
In our SRM, we have a program for the Generation of ERS documents (credit note?).
Firstly, the Programm BBPERS creates ERS Idocs on Basis of stock-receipt (?). Secondly, the program RSPPFPROCESS sends the ERS invoice to the supplier via mail.
The document is saved only as an email.
We do have a Z-Programm, ZZBBPERS, that is used for subsequent creation of ERS documents as PDFs. These are saved in the Spool, but for each invoice a different spool number is created.
Now my Task is to find a way to Archive these ERS documents into an external Archive. We use d.3 as Archive, I don't know if you have heard of it. But that shouldn't matter right now.
So the question is, how can this be achieved? I don't really know anything about archiving in SAP. And this is a very Special case. Where do I have to start? Do I Need to write a program, or can I use some of SAPs Standard possiblities? What programs are there for archiving spools? Can they be defined as only archiving Spools from program X? Where do I define archiving procedures?
I hope some of you can get me started. I don't Need a perfect solution right off the bat, just a place to start and ideas how to Approach this Project.
Thanks SO MUCH in advance for any help!

  • GOA distribution to R3 - Tax Code for ERS vendors

    Hi all,
Having an issue with GOA distribution to R3 for evaluated receipt settlement vendors. For ERS vendors, tax code is a required field. There is not a tax code field in the GOA and this is not being passed in any iDoc segment I can find. My current tax configuration is calculate tax in backend, i have maintained tax codes I0.U1, I1 with U1 set as default. As shopping carts are transferred from R3 they are assigned U1 as expected and PO's generated in the BE from these external requirements are getting the U1 as expected. The problem is with contracts and scheduling agreements. Everything is fine unless the vendor has the ERS indicator set. Tax code becomes a required field.
Has anyone else experienced this? I've' researched SDN and everything talks about shopping carts and PO's, which is working for us.  I cant find any info on the contract distribution. I've investigated the BADI's associated with tax calculation in SRM but I'm not sure these meet the requirement for ERS vendors.
Am I missing configuration? Is one of the tax badi's the way to go? Any information is appreciated.

  • SRM: Sourcing - PO not getting created via sourcing

    Dear SRM-ers,
I am facing problems while creating PO in the backend system via the sourcing cockpit.
My scenario is that when an approver SC enters the Sourcing cockpit, the user should be able to assign a vendor and proceed with creating a PO in the backend (without the bidding process).
When i click on the Create PO option i get an error, that 'some documents could not be generated or contain errors.'
Similarly in the application monitors the error is   "Shopping cart 1100000204 (PO 7000000055): BBP_BD 002 An exception has occurred"
When i try to debug this via bbp_pd transaction, the details that seem fishy to me are:

BUS2012          Follow-On Document Object Type in Backend Sy
7000000055     Follow-On Document Object ID in Backend

  • Goods receipt in SRM or R3

    Hello SRM Gurus,
I understand that GR can be done in either SRM or R3. We use the classic scenario so I know that my GR will get posted in R3. My questions are:
    1. Are there any advantages to creating GR in SRM vs. in R3?
    2. How do I specify whether GR is to be performed in SRM or R3?
    Regards,
    HP

    Hi HP,
like Yann mentioned, there are no specific settings needed.
The decision, where the GR is done is process driven and depends on your
definition and your business. Based on that design, user get the roles in SRM
and/or R/3 to perform their tasks. For typical indirect procurement, the GR is done
by the requisitioner or much easier, automatically in combination of ERS
    procedure.

  • Extension of a user exit in R/3, called on PO creation by SRM(SRM 5.0,class

    Hi All,
I am new to SRM technical,I need the user-exit which is called in R3 on PO creation by SRM.
I have to perform some checks and validation for the tax code in the exit(It may be badi also) befor creating PO in R3.
Please tell me the User-exit as soon as possible and help to sort this problem.
    Thanks in advance.
    Ankur

    Hi Sachin,
I want user exit in R3 not in EBP.
    This the orignal requirement....
Extension of a user exit in R/3, called on PO creation. If document type = EC (PO from EBP) and an ERS vendor has been chosen on the order, re-use some of the logic/code/lookup table entries which currently determine the tax code automatically for interface orders for where ERS flag is ticked on vendor.
    Now please help me.

  • ERS flag not picked automatically

    hi gurus ,
we are using srm 5.0 , extended classic scenario
while creating a po in srm with ers vendor with account assignment wbs , the ers flag is not getting picked automatically.
while if i use the same vendor and use account assignment cost center , the ers flag is getting picked in the po.
so for wbs po , we are manually going to the follow -on tab in item data and ticking the ers indicator.
what could be the reason for this ? why is the ers flag not getting picked from the vendor master.

    please reply !
