ESS Loans validation

We are implementing loans in ESS for India country grouping.
There are mandatory validation in the UI (request loan amount, number of installment, repayment start date) to be entered by user.
We don't want these fields to be entered by user, since we want to define/enter in Infotype 0045 by paroll administrator as per policy guidelines.
But, in ESS these are mandatory fields & should be entered by user. I have checked the WD personlization option & it is no use.
Can anybody tell me how to fix this issue ?
Is there any RFC or table to configure ? Please share your inputs.

ESS Loan Request Approver side validations

Dear All,
I am using standard ess loan request service.Here I have to perform certail validations at MSS side(Loan Request Approver IView).
Here manager can edit the values of Granted Amount,payment date,payment amount and payment type.But without entering these values also the loan request is getting approved by clicking on Review button.
I want to validate the above mentioned fields in case any of thefields left blank and also I have to validate the granted amount(should not be greater than requested amount).
As we know we have following BADI's available thru which we can perform validations when employee is applying for a loan.
1.Eligibility check
2.Custom Validations
3.Determine Approver.
Is there any BADIs available to perform validations at MSS part(Loan Request Approver)

According to your reply I understand that I need to write my validations in the approval task(TS18900024).In the workflow Approval task there is a standard class CL_HRPBSIN_LOAN_REPAY_WF available.I cannot create a method under it since this is a standard class.Do I need to take a copy of it and create a method?
But how can I Import the parameters from approver screen like Granted amount,payment amount,payment date and payment type.

Error while accessing ESS Loan Request.

Hi Experts,
While accessing ESS Loan request for Country grouping 40 India am getting below mentioned error saying that 500 Internal Server Error.
I have maintained the settings for Leave request and maintained Infotype 45 Loans for employee.
But it is giving the below mentioned error.

ESS - Loan details are not displaying

Dear All,
Applied loan from Portal and it is updated in R/3 Infotype 0045 - loans.
But these created loans are not displaying in ESS - Benifits & payments - Loan Request.
Please help me in solving this issue.

Could you please check if you have maintained the customizing tables correctly in the Payroll-India->Employee services->Loans in spro.
Also check if you have configured the loan types in V_T7INLOAN_TYP.

ESS Loan without Instalement details

Dear ESS/MSS Guru's..
Presently implementing The Indian Specific Loan services for Indian client .
Our senario is ..the initial Loan - requester will apply for a Loan , but the Repayment Start Date and the Installment amount may change in the mid of approval processing time.
As these fields are not there in the Approvers screens ( for Approval / Reject ) , how to handle the same in the standard SAP webdynpro screens . If not how to manage as our WF is with 4-5 levels .
And the Loans are paid Off- Cycle for which we have developed a Z program ( copy and edit ) of std program - HINUUPDATE_INFTY_LOANS_ESS . But the same std program is giving dump . I wanted to know which Indian client is running this Loan services perfectly.

ESS Portal Validation for Claims

Hi All,
Need some direction in Validating the ESS Portal screen where employees post their claim components for approval...
So if an Employee is claiming for his care re-reimbursement the below components needs to be validated...
Total Claim Amt- 10000 per month.
Petrol - 4000 per month.
Driver's Salary - 5000 per month.
Car Maintenance - 1000 per month.
Is it possible to validate this entries using a BADI?
Also currently only the Total Claim Amt is coming into SAP.. how to pass the break-up components claimed also in SAP which are custom creation in the ESS Portal screen??

To debug, open the BADI, and put External break point in your code.
Then click on menu Utilities -> Settings
In displayed box, click on ABAP Editor tab -> then displayed tabs click on Debugging tab
Here in External Debugging users field specify your user ID. Then check the Session breakpoint activ.imme
Click on continue.
Now you logon to portal process the application.

Actually i have a requirement like ..three types of loans are there ..those are placed into the drop down once employee selected the loan type and enter the amount then submit the loan request ...that request has to pass to the manager he has to approve or reject here work flow should trigger ...once it approved request has to pass to the finance dept..this is the requirement how to do it in webdynpro java iview..

Hi Ram
You can create a WebDynpro application with Accept,Reject, Save buttons. And you can launch this WebDynpro application from UWL taks list in the portal.
When user clicks on particular task in the UWL taks inbox in Portal we can configure to open a WebDynpro application. And we can configure to send the task WorkItemId to the WebDynpro Application as a url parameter.
In the WebDynpor application you can get that WorkItemId from url parameters. Using this WorkItemId you can execute the standard bapis required for the task completion from WebDynpro using the Adaptive RFC model.

Is it because the disk I bought is an education edition? My new macbook pro cant read a disk so how do I install? can I download the education edition somewhere? if this is the problem?

Loan request - ESS - Error on eligiblity

Hi
Loans are configured in R/3 and working fine .... I configured the same for ESS ( Benefits and Payments - > Loan Requests ) when i try to raise a request for a loan type in ESS , i get en error saying " The Experience of employee 00000022 is less than eligibile experience for loan" , even though i have given "null (0) " in the node - Maintain loans Eligiblity checks and limits ... have any of you come across something like this..... inputs on how to solve this would be highly appreciated.....

Unable to create elemt entry with APIf or element with formula validation

Hello Im trying to create an element entry that has validation for the input value. The element name is Mortgage Loan Disbursment
The input values are :
Disbursment amount (user enterable)
Total Installements(user enterable)
and there is a validation for the total installment called 'Mortage Loan Validation' which does a check from the global value MORTAGE_LOAN_INST

I think the error is occurring because a database item within the formula has returned no row, contrary to its 'NOTFOUND_ALLOWED' flag.
Depending on the nature of the database item, there could be a variety of reasons for that, but one possibility is that it is relying on the presence of a session date in order for the DB item value to be found. So, if prior to calling the api, you create (or update) a row in fnd_sessions for your session with the effective date set to the effective date input parameter value, you might get some success.

Loan - Years of Expereince - Eligiblity error

Hi
Loans are configured in R/3 and working fine .... I configured the same for ESS ( Benefits and Payments - > Loan Requests ) when i try to raise a request for a loan type in ESS , i get en error saying " The Experience of employee 00000022 is less than eligibile experience for loan" , even though i have given "null (0) " in the node - Maintain loans Eligiblity checks and limits ... any idea why i get this error ? .... Even with the BADI activated, i get the same error in ESS..
In the ESS - Loan Request screen, the "Reference No." field is grayed out with '000000000000" , though i have given the number range in SPRO for the same...
Can you please let me know whether you get the reference number field correctly filled??

How to register a custom HCM module/application in Fusion Application

Hi All,
I am working on a Fusion Co-existence project and one of the requirement we have to create/register a custom application/module In Fusion Apps(Just like Creating Entry in FND_APPLICATION IN EBS).
Once created we want it to be linked to a custom schema and custom Linus directory structure as well.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

We haven't deployed any application till now; Infact we are not even sure of it as we are EBS People predominantly. Here is what we need and Why:
We are developing a custom integration to support the Data translations migrations from EBS to Fusion Apps in a co-existence environment. Solution is basically consist of :
1.Extract the Data in Flat File using a Concurrent Program from EBS R12
2.FTP the file to Fusion Server
3.Read the file and write into Staging table using the SQL*Loader in Fusion Apps through a custom ESS Job
4.Data validation and Import program in Fusion Apps through a custom ESS Job
Since this is a custom solution The ESS Import/Validation jobs in Fusion Apps need to be register within a custom module (Like lets say XXHR). So the staging tables need to be created should be tied to custom Database schema linked with this application and the Files to be palced in the Fusion Server should be placed under the Custom XXHR_TOP/bin directory. Also the ESS job shold be registered with the custom application.
So we are looking for a complete help on this.

Validity option not getting displayed in Bank Information ESS

Hi Experts,
Can you please advise how to enable the validity option in the screen for bank bank information. Currently ESS->Personal Profile->Bank Information->Add other bank there is no option to specify the date range eg : create a bank record for a future dated record ( screen shot attached). My understanding is this option is part of the standard and should come towards the bottom of the screen.
I have checked the FPM_FORM_UIBB->HRESS_CC_PER_DTL_BANK_AU and it seems all okie. Can you please advise.Your help is highly appreciated.
