Since you wrote, so just curious... EP & ESS/MSS Consultant... what does that mean?
If I am not taking it wrong, by that sentence you are trying to tell that you have worked on ESS / MSS modeule. Right?

This is the basic list, it can contain many more items... This is the list which I faced for my interview. As an EP consultant, you must be good in both Portal as well as WD end.
1 more thing, every interview is different from other, so no point in just mugging them out. Go through with there concepts. That way, you can answer twisted & scenario based questions.

Ess / Mss Error while manager tries to open the workitem in UWL.....

Hi Experts,
    As I am trying to apply the Loan details in ESS / MSS, Workflow is triggerred and workitem is received in the Manager's UWL. But when the Manager tries to open the Workitem it is going for dump. "As follows"....

Like this there are 47 errors continued...
What may be the cause? What should be configured...
Here I have configured the "SWFVISU" with my tasks 'TS18900024" which in workflow.

ESS MSS CBS Failed - Broken DCs */cfg

Hi,
      I am at the last stage of the import process for ESS MSS and its dependent SCs into our NWDI environment. All the imports are successful however, when I check the status of all the DCs under ESS and MSS components I see that all the ones DCs that end with /cfg are BROKEN in the Compilation state.
     There seems to be some issue that is causing all the */cfg DCs to fail. My attempt to 'Build' this compartment proved unsuccessful.
     I guess, my question is..
      What are these */CFG DCs used for and what could be causing this issue?

hi,
yes, FPM is the framework which all self service applications follow. Hence all the self service applications have same patterns. The thread I referred you in first reply, contains a gudd xplanation of FPM. Plus you can find the <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2005/helpdata/en/b4/139525380149a49c8402e22700e4ba/frameset.htm">documentation</a> of FPM helpful.
Its a framework which self service applications follow. hence no need to separately implement it.
Is ESS/MSS deployed and running in your portal?
But still you need to setup JDI for making any code changes to ESS/MSS applications.
