[solved] How-To apply lxappearance Look&Feel for qpdfview?

Hello,
as the title says: I wonder if there is a way to get the configured lxappearance Look & Feel for the qpdfview pdf-viewer.
I'd also write some code if necessary but I'm don't know where I should start…
Help is as always appreciated. :-)

Hello!
You just need to install "libgnomeui". This package (or some of it dependencies... I never "investigated" what exactly happens) provides what is necessary to make Qt applications use the GTK theme. Probably it is going to work right after the installation. If not, try to logoff/login or restart the computer. And, as a "last resort" (it should not be necessary), change the Qt settings, on "qtconfig", to make it use the GTK+ Gui Style.
I hope this have worked. Anything else, just ask!

Dears at Apple:
I can't find how to apply sound enhancements (EQ) for the podcasts now with iOS 6.0 update on any of my devices(iPhone 4s, iPhone Touch (4th Gen), iPad (3rd Gen). Most of the "Podcasts" I listen to are music content based and wanted to apply sound enhancements(EQ) like before when integrated with ipod function. Can you consider to "fix" this issue?

OK Emanuel I found a solution! I dowloaded and installed "Denon Audio" app from the iTunes store & it works great! It has an EQ you can set curves on manually or use the (few) built in pre-sets. It is a player like the Music app that comes with the iPhone, etc. but restores the EQ functionality so we can adjust the audio of PODCASTS:-) Until Apple fixes this what I consider a bug I will be using the Denon app as my default music player!

If you want the user to select then LookAndFeel then Visitor Tools.

if you have only a few combinations then you could even create different desktops and direct the user to the appropriate url

How to apply Software Restriction policy for specific user in local group policy object ?

I am working on implementing user based software restriction policy programmatically for local group policy object.
If i create a policy through Domain Controller,i do have option for software restriction policy in user configuration but in local group policy editor i don't have option for that.
When i look for the changes made by policy applied from Domain Controller in registry, they modifies registry values for specific users on path HKEY_USERS\(SID of User)\Softwares\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Safer\Codeidentifiers
They also have registry.pol stored in SYSvol folder in Domain Controller. When i make the same changes in registry to block any other application, application is getting blocked.
I achieved what i wanted but is it right to modify registry values ?

[SOLVED] How to make URxvt look like default XTerm?

I don't want to install terminus-font or something else. Just want to make XTerm and URxvt look equal.
I prefer URxvt over XTerm for its performance, but default URxvt looks ugly comparing to default XTerm: for example default bitmap font (fixed) is broken whereas it looks beatiful on XTerm.
Also colors in URxvt do not match to those in console and XTerm (which seem to be the same) - highlighted directories, executables, prompt, etc which seem to be darker.
How do I fix it?

I believe the default xterm fonts are listed in /usr/share/X11/app-defaults/XTerm. I may be wrong but I think you want to specify the urxvt font as:
-misc-fixed-medium-r-semicondensed--13-120-75-75-c-60-iso10646-1
This will be incorrect if you do not have the xorg-fonts-75dpi package installed. If you don't have that package installed, I'm not sure what font is used in its place by either emulator.
WIthout specifying the terminal colors in my ~/.Xdefaults or ~/.Xresources file, I also found the two terminals' colors do not appear the same. I have configured the colors so they are identical in both apps. This excerpt from my .Xdefaults uses the asterisk, *, as a wild card so the colors I have chosen apply to both terminals.

[SOLVED] How to choose a fast mirror for net-install?

Coming back to Arch after some time away. Sitting here looking at the AIF screen asking me to select a mirror from a huge list. So, how to determine, without another machine running Arch (or, for that matter, any other Linux distro), which mirror to choose? Shouldn't rankmirrors be behind the scene to build a very short list for this? Welp, wish me luck, literally.
Solved: Since rankmirrors is on the net-install disk along with the mirrorlist...duh. Just didn't occur to me until after I posted.

If you right click on an empty container or a container with an object in it, it has the same available choices to select. However, if you create a blank property node on the block diagram, and wire up the .net object to it, you will see a much different list of properties.
So, the property node created from right clicking a .NET container will be for that container, even if there is an object inside. To create a property node for the object, you must wire the .NET object to an empty property node on the block diagram.

first question ,yes that is exactly what i am done. second question i also have a small scripts on windows pc to solve routes traffic problem
route -p delete 0.0.0.0
route -p add 192.168.9.0 mask 255.255.255.0 192.168.9.1
route -p add 0.0.0.0 mask 0.0.0.0 192.168.22.0
but after a while i found scripts is not necessary because windows always attempt to use PPPoE sessions as default internet connection local connection is also ok
and use -i pppX in my iptables rules dose not solve my problem , because same account start PPPoE session could be marked as ppp0 or ppp1. it is hard to identified which account start session.

In my application I use nearly 100 VOs, which will be mapped as LOV to some base VOs. These VOs are not only for LOV but also will be used directly in screen as read-only table. All these VOs contains EFF_BGN_DTand EFF_END_DT. Requirement is to display only the active records in VO.
We don't want to crete view criteria at design time for each and every VO. Instead we want to have a base ViewObjectImpl class, create at runtime and add this common criteria with the existing view criterias (If any given, which are actually required for the developer for screen specific functionality).
NOTE: As all of our VOs are custom java data source implemented and none of them have queries, we cannot use whereclause API but only ViewCriteria.
We want to create a view criteria, that somewhat looks like the below condition.
           (     (TO_CHAR( EffBgnDt, 'yyyy-mm-dd') <= '2010-02-01' )
             AND (TO_CHAR( EffEndDt, 'yyyy-mm-dd') >= '2010-02-01' )
             OR
           (     (TO_CHAR( EffBgnDt, 'yyyy-mm-dd') <= '2010-02-01' )
             AND (EffEndDt IS NULL )

No it is not working. I've tested. When i test your implementation in my sample using AM tester, it is not at all going inside getCriteriaItemClause(ViewCriteriaItem pViewCriteriaItem). For example when i say, AM.findViewObject(String ViewObjectName), followed by getEstimatedRowCount(), it should apply common filter criteria and give me the result.
Given below required scenario:
Department table:
ID     DEPT_NAME     START_DATE     END_DATE
1     Hr          1-Jan-2010
2     Purchasing     1-Jan-2010     31-Dec-2010
3     Shipping             1-Jan-2010     31-Dec-2055
4     Sales          1-Jan-2010
Common criteria to be applied (Programatically) : :bind_current_date between StartDate and EndDate or :bind_current_date >= StartDate and EndDate is null
VO specific view criteria (may vary VO to VO): DeptName not equal to 'Sales'
Expected Result:
Case 1:
         a. DeptView = AM.findViewObject("DepartmentVO")
         b. DeptView.getEstimatedRowCount()
          It should give me 3 records (Hr, Shipping, Sales)
Case 2:
         a. DeptView = AM.findViewObject("DepartmentVO")

How to apply one exact menubar for multiple pages?

I have a sidebar witch repeat itself over 7 other pages.
If I come to neccesary to edit one or few components in sidebar's content, I have to cross all seven files and edit each individually.
I came to conclusion that it would be much more confortably to have this sidebar in such manner which creates sidebar's modifications to all other files, after it's changed in one of them.

Have a look at using a server side include (SSI).
If I get what you mean, you put your HTML in a seperate file and call it say, navigation.php and then you can put a php include where you want the navigation in the page. For php you would need to ensure that it is available on your server and you need to use .php for your file extensions.
It's really easy to do. Once you crack it, you can use php includes for other consistent elements of your page like say, your footer and header. You do need to pay attention to links used in the include file because if you change the folder the page is in that calls the include file, the links might end up pointing to the wrong place.
Once you're set up, you can easily edit the navigation.php code and it will update wherever you have that php include. I can only do it with PHP but this technique is available with other flavours.

How to apply a new font for missing glyphs in another font?

The situation:
For an article, I want to use Font1, but some of the glyphs are missing in it, and are highlighted with pink boxes. Font2 have much more glyphs than Font1. I can apply Font2 manually for each of the missing glyphs, but it is tedious.
Question:
Is there a way for InDesign to do such substitution automatically? I.e., apply a default font, which can be specified by user, for all the missing glyphs.
If not, how to search/find those missing glyphs with GREP or script? Since InDesign can identify the missing glyphs and marked them with pink boxes, it seems easily (not to identify the unicode ranges which seems not very easy) to find them using GREP, but I failed to find it.
Any one know how to do this? Thanks.

No. Alas, I might add. There is some sort of auto-catch, specific for Symbol symbols, but no-one knows how it works and you cannot manipulate it yourself.

Not specifically, i.e., you cannot search for "any missing glyph". Add a GREP style which changes just the font (make sure it doesn't set the font style as well, or else your Bolds or Italics might disappear). Create a new Preflight profile that checks just for missing glyphs, so you won't miss any.
None of this can be automated though.

InDesign's GREP flavor doesn't allow named Unicode blocks (http://www.regular-expressions.info/unicode.html), but I have successfully used character ranges to automatically set the font for Chinese, for example.

Using jdev version 1.6.
There is one FormGroupLayout and undrthat many panelLabelAndMessage components and each panelLabelAndMessage having different types components like textbox,dropdown etc .
Here question is how to make llabel as eft aligh for the all components of panelLabelAndMessage .
text-align:left is not working for the components under the panelLabelAndMessage .
i have tried by hardcoding the lable align text align as Left ,its working .But if we apply from the CSS class its not working .
