Essbase optimalization issue, slow

Hi everyone,
I have made a Planning application which has some larger forms which take over 4 min to open, which could be okay, but what puzzles me is that the Essbase server is not using any system resources when the forms are retrieved. CPU load goes between 0 and 1%, whicle memory stay approximately the same using only about 1 third of mem available.
We have tuned outline, and cache setting, to my best knowledge according to what I can find of best practice. I wonder if this is normal, or anyone else experiencing the same issue?
Suggestions? do I need to give more details of system and/or outline?
Best Regards,
Kåre

Hi,
The resources which might be being used are on the planning server or even on the clients browser, it all depends on the form design and the structure of your cube.
Planning has to do alot of the processing and sometimes the queries on the essbase take no time at all, its planning constructing the grid which has can also take time.
Some things to consider in form design :-
Keep dense dimensions in rows and columns.
Place static dimensions in POV and hide these dimensions where not relevant to the form.
Place Scenario, Version, and Year dimensions in the Page wherever possible.
Please sparse dimensions in the POV
Minimize using account annotations on data forms.
The biggest impact on data form performance is down to the grid size, grid size = possible number of rows x possible columns, also grid size doubles when multiple currencies are used.
Enabling shared member security can also impact performance.
Complex security can also impact performance.
It is worth finding out where the problems lie, I have seen large forms in the past which can take a long time to download to the clients browser, then you add into the javascript processing for the form which adds overhead.
It may also be worth considering using smart view if you can't improve the performance of the web forms.
Cheers
John

  • Essbase performance issue

    Hi all,
We encounter a Essbase perfromance issue that we don't know the root cause.
We have configured a server to run Essbase with 8 core CPU and 16GB RAM. We found that the Essbase calculation can use up to 80% CPU and about 8GB RAM only. I also checked the IO rate at the same time but the disk loading is not very heavy. We just suspect that what kind of resource are waiting at Essbase calculation engine? It is not CPU bounded, memory bounded, and IO bounded.
Do you think it can help if we keep the whole Essbase database (around 30GB) into RAM based disk drive can speed up the IO performance?
Thanks if you have some ideas for us to investigate.

I'm confused -- is it CPU bound or not?
    You write:
We found that the Essbase calculation can use up to 80% CPU and about 8GB RAM only.Do you mean 80% of all eight of your CPUs? That sure sounds CPU-bound to me. In fact, I wish (within reason) that most of my Essbase calculations worked that way -- that would men that I have the disck caches tuned to their utmost efficiency.
This means you're getting data from disk almost as fast as is possible.
You're not going to be able to get everything into memory for two reasons:
    1) 30 GB of .IND and .PAG/.DAT files isn't going to fit into Essbase's addressable memory space. See: using RAM disk to speed up Essbase calculation and rollup
    2) Even when the database is nice and small and you can stick the whole thing in a cache, uncompressed, Essbase still is "smart" and will keep a portion of it on disk during calcs -- this doesn't make sense in isolation, but empirically, you can monitor disk usage during a supposedly database that is in theory total enclosed in the cache and see it getting hit. This may be related to Essbase's general housekeeping -- I don't know. In any case, this is generally not a real world case, unless you're running your business on my Very Favorite Database In The Whole Wide World -- Sample.Basic.
Or are you saying that you will define a real (and it would help if you really could allocate real RAM, and not an OS-managed sort-of-RAM-sort-of-DASD situation) RAM drive and point Essbase there. That is sort of risky, isn't it? How will you flush it to real DASD for backup? Exports?

  • Essbase Known Issue (7445394), Possible Fixes?

    Hi
I am using essbase v9 and I am having problems logging into spreadsheets which contain macros. I can across this know issue and was wondering if there are any workarounds or patches available for this bug that I could try in order to eliminate this as the possible issue.
Spreadsheet client. Visual Explorer connection time to remote Essbase servers is very slow because of the necessity of reading the metadata across networks. [7445394]
    Thanks
    Michelle

QUESTION: are there any available patches for this
    at this time?
    NO.
If not - will there be any available
in the future - Or am I stuck with this for the life
    of the notebook?
According to Hardware Monitor's developer, it's possible to fix it through firmware, but Apple will never put their engineers on that.
This problem is caused by an internal design flaw of current versions of Intel Core processors. The Digital Thermal Sensors may stop working when the processor returns from a C3/C4 power saving state.

  • Essbase Calculation issues from version 6 to 7

Hi does any one know are there any calculation issue with essbase BSO cacl engine from version 6 to 7. Cube which calculates fine on 6 verison never ends to finish on version 7, does any one have ideas about number of max generations and levels possible under dense dimension in verison 7

Not sure if it was a 6.5.1 to 7.1.5 issue, or if it was that 6.5.1 was on Win2K and 7.1.5 is on Solaris 5.9. But, I had one calc script that for total company on Windows and 6.5.1 ran in about 2 1/2 minutes, but same calc on same outline on Solaris and 7.1.5 ran in over 2 hours.
Hyp support was able to offer some suggestions on Unix settings, and some undocumented script features that got the runtime down to around 10 minutes, but didn't get any farther than that.
Luckily for me there also was some functions that were not resolving correctly in the script so I had to take the functions out (turned a 100 line script into an 800 line script), and wouldn't you know it that fixed the slow run time as well.

  • MBP mid 2009 sudden HDD issues / slow and unresponsive

    Hello all,
First of all i want to apologize if there was a similar topic, but ive tried looking with no result. I am in a big crisis and i think this forum is my only way of finding a solution.
The problem started yesterday, when all of a sudden my computer became unresponsive (finder and apps), although music from itunes continued playing. I had no choice but to **** it down with the button.
When i turned it back on, i got the blinking folder with the question mark. Tried all the advice with no success. Then i opened the computer, checked the flex cable and the hdd which both seemed fine. Closed it back up, started it up again and the same story. Then i moved the computer after half an hour and the thing booted normally. The only obvious thing was that programs tended to freeze for a minute or two and i get the umbrella and then it works.
Since im a photographer i have lots of work on it and immediately bought an external hdd for backup. Time machine wasnt successful since it worked so slowly and it worked on intervals. 2 mins of copying, 5 mins of nothing and really slow ( the hdd graph in activity monitor showed continious spikes with a flat line inbetween. I gave up on that and now im copying the important stuff manually which seems to be working fine.
However the computer still has a big issue - i am hoping its the flex cable, since it suddey started working. In case of hdd failure i dont think i would be able to get back in and use it? The hdd is a year old, its the seagate hybrid - momentus 750xt and the os is mountain lion.
Does anyone have a clue or a tip what to do? I have to order the flex cable via ebay since there are no authorised deLers for apple that have spare parts available here in Lisbon, Portugal. Im afraid making a clean install wont help , although on a windows computer id do that the first thing..
Thanks a lot for any help, im desperate and i have a few weddings to edit this month, and since i study abroud this is the only xomputer i can use!
    Regards, Jaka

It does seem to be the internal cable or connection is faulty, but only on an intermittent basis.
My suggestion is to backup your data on an external HDD using Disk Utility>Restore or Carbon Copy Cloner.  This will create a drive that will enable you to boot your MBP and use it externally until you get your cable replaced.
    Ciao.

  • ITunes on Windows 7 performance issues - slow and hangs

Is there any way to improve performance of iTunes running on Windows 7?
It has always been slow with lots of application hangs and stalls that will resolve themselves if you wait for iTunes to catch up, but I find it incredibly frustrating.
For example, when iTunes starts and if it is checking podcasts, the entire application is unresponsive until it finishes checking and refreshing podcasts.
Alternately, when viewing my iPad Air and looking at the list of apps installed via iTunes it can take 30 seconds before iTunes responds.
Considering that this is running on a system with a quad-core Haswell processor at 3.2Ghz, 16GB of RAM and Windows 7 x64 it is pretty unacceptable.
The efficiency at which iTunes operates is just appalling.  I can run Adobe Photoshop and many more memory hungry and processor intensive applications than iTunes and get better performance than what I see in iTunes.
This is not specific to my system either.  All of my family members have iPhones and their own computers and this performance issue exists on every computer I have ever run iTunes on.
Is there any way to manually tune performance because this is pretty crappy.  It's been bugging me for years, but today just kind of feels like the last straw.

I guess the answer is, "It's terribad, live with it"

  • Very Strange AFP/SMB file service issue, slow, intermittent connections.

There's a bit of a saga to this, so please stay with me.
X-Serve G5, first loaded with 10.3.2, and over 2 years upgraded to 10.3.9. All the server has ever done is be a standalone file server to Mac only. There is no AD/OD intergration, or any fancy stuff about it, its just a dumb file server, serving Macs.
Recently we decided to put in a larger raid, and some new G5's, both PPC and Intel, and upgrade all the other G5's to 10.4. At the same time we thought we'd upgrade teh server OS to 10.4, so we had a full 10.4 site.
All updates went well, apart from the server. As soon as we started running 10.4 the server connections were really slow, and basically unworkable. I came on here and found little tweaks to do as other users were having similar problems, but with much more complex set-ups. The most puzzling thing was the apparent local caching issue.
If i copy a 50mg file/folder via either afp or smb, whatever happens the first time is longer, eg 1st 43s, 2nd 2sec, 3rd 2sec,, then re-boot, and its back to the same thing. If you disconnect, and secure empty trash you get the same thing.
    Maybe more of an eye opener is a 110mb file/folder, 1st 75Sec, 2nd 38Sec, 3rd 32Sec.
Now i've given up and done a clean istall back to 10.3.9 on a seperate partition, and its instantly quicker in everything. eg. 50MB 1st AFP 5 Sec, 2nd AFP 5 Sec, 3rd SMB, 5 Sec, 110MB 1st AFP 9 Sec, 2nd AFP 9 Sec.
So i've fixed it, but by having to retrograde the OS back to 10.3.9. We don't use apple talk, only IP, we have no network issues, and spanning tree, etc, can't be the issue as it only affect appletalk!.
If i get a minute i'll do a clean install on 10.4, to see if the problem was the upgrade from 10.3 to 10.4..
Just wondered if anyone has had a similar experience, ot hoping that it may help someone in a similar situation. All i can think is maybe ACL's were the issue, or a newer/different version of AFP.
The new raid system showed the same throughput/connection speed on both OS', and the same network load, etc, is also on both OS', they were also not maxxed out, and the afp daemon wasn't eating CPU.

Retrograded back to 10.3.9, all works fine now!?!?!?!?

  • Video size issues/slow performance after update to CC 2014

    Hello everyone,
I'm not an editor by trade, so please bear with me here. I've spent the last few days searching around for an answer and haven't been able to come up with much.
    I'm on a late 2011 Macbook Pro, 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7, 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3, AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512 MB, Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63b).
I spent a month cutting my first little experimental feature which the assistant editor set up for me (and who is currently away).
My computer isn't rocket fast, but I was able to complete the first few passes on Premiere CC (7.2.2?) with few major issues.
About a week ago, I upgraded to Premiere CC 2014 8.0.
I immediately noticed that my footage went from this:
    To this:
    (The specifics of the footage:
As you might be able to tell, we shot very old school VHS to help sell the 90's setting. It was a nightmare to find the best way to export it all. I'm still not sure if we did this entirely properly -- and hopefully it's not the cause of these issues. Also, I know VHS is only SD -- we chose to import at the utmost quality, i.e. 1920x1440 and ProRes 422, because more of the image detail was present in low-light.)
I found that I had to select all the clips in each timeline, right click, and select the 'Set to Frame Size' to have the video full frame once again. Then I had to render everything.
As I tried to resume my edit, the performance was much slower. Playback is a nightmare. I get the beach ball of death constantly. It would take several minutes to save the project. And it started to crash about once an hour on top of everything.
But I continued to work for the last eight days, hoping that I'd be able to rectify this somehow.
I cleared the cache with no luck.
I read that I could uncheck 'Composite in Linear Color' to make it faster, but that wasn't an issue in the last build.
My playback and paused resolution is 1/4.
I read that I should update my OS to OS X Mavericks, but that keeps crashing too! Haha.
I understand that my system isn't the best, but I just want my project to perform as well as it did on Premiere CC before the update.
I just spoke to an Adobe tech who basically told me that there wasn't a solution here besides reverting back to Premiere CC from CC 2014 -- or buying a new Macbook.
But there has to be a way that I can get the same performance that I did before the upgrade, right? I have a feeling something happened to how CC 2014 is using the existing footage.
(Also, I noticed that clips where I increased the zoom, i.e. 100% to 110%, were back at their original size. And instead of saying 100%, it was now saying 300%. I'm assuming this is because of the 'Set to Frame Size' setting, but this wasn't the case on Premiere CC.)
Does anyone have any ideas what I can do here?
Here's my sequence settings on CC 2014:
    And on CC:
For some reason, portions of this window are grayed out, and not in CC 2014. Not sure if this has anything to do with the issue.
Thanks a ton in advance everyone! I really can't afford to lose 8 days worth of work, so any help would be greatly greatly appreciated!
I'll be more than happy to provide additional info.
I'm really looking to find out, definitively, if my only two options are: a) go back to Premiere CC and lose my recent work, or b) buy a new laptop, which I can't afford.
(As a side question, is there any way I can transfer my recent work from CC 2014 to CC? I understand it's not backwards-compatible, but there has to be at least a partial solution.)
    Best,
    Jon

    Thanks for the quick response!
So just this right (to DV):
I scrubbed through really quick, seems like it just may have worked.

  • Leopard general issues (slow boot-Blue screen of tolerance)?

I upgraded it to leopard 10.5.2 a week ago. I thought my old system with tiger (10.4.11) used to boot faster and work faster and I thought I was being cynical. I just checked with my buddy's computer which is completely identical to mine (2GHz intel Core 2 Duo, 2gb ram, 120gb hard disk macbook). She still has tiger 10.4.10. It boots drastically faster. As soon as dark grey apple disappears tiger shows a progress bar showing the log on process and it logs on in less than 5 secs. Overall boot up was around 20secs. First of all I don't know why leopard doesn't have that progress bar. Secondly leopard hangs on a blue screen during startup for another 20 seconds which makes the overall time 40-50 secs.
I deleted all cache everything and unused files while installing. I never got a blue screen of death either. It is almost a clean install. People might suggest erase/install or archive/install but I checked other forums people suffering with this issue has not been successful to eradicate it this way.
I checked my logs. they are pretty clean except some launchctl convert stuff.
I am pretty convinced it is leopard issue.
    I have two questions:
    1) Is Apple aware of this issue (blue screen on startup for 20 sec) and would be address it in next update? or is it not fixable?
    2) Can I somehow have that auto-logon progress bar back?
    3) Sidebar fonts are very small. Tiger sidebar was much easier to use. Is their a way to increase font size.
In general I am quite disappointed with Leopard. It is much slower especially with respect to finder windows. I wish I could downgrade to Tiger but it is to much hassle..taking backup..reinstalling all applications. I kinda like quicklook too. I'll miss it if I downgrade.
I would like to know whether apple addresses such issues in upgrades? I am patient.

    I have two questions:
    Actually I count three questions.
    1) Is Apple aware of this issue (blue screen on startup for 20 sec) and would be address it in next update? or is it not fixable?
Not a problem with OS X. More likely a problem with your installation or setup. I have 5 Macs running Leopard and have no similar problem nor ever have. Although boot times differ with hardware, startupitems, login items, etc. they are not much different. My Mac Pro takes half the time as my laptops typically.
    2) Can I somehow have that auto-logon progress bar back?
No. It's no longer included in OS X.
    3) Sidebar fonts are very small. Tiger sidebar was much easier to use. Is their a way to increase font size.
Not aware of any control over this in Leopard, but if there is someone else may let you know.
If you want to improve performance on your computer then try some maintenance:
Kappy's Personal Suggestions for OS X Maintenance
For disk repairs use Disk Utility. For situations DU cannot handle the best third-party utilities are: Disk Warrior; DW only fixes problems with the disk directory, but most disk problems are caused by directory corruption; Disk Warrior 4.0 is now Intel Mac compatible. TechTool Pro provides additional repair options including file repair and recovery, system diagnostics, and disk defragmentation. TechTool Pro 4.6.1 is Leopard compatible; Drive Genius is similar to TechTool Pro in terms of the various repair services provided. The current version, 1.5.1, is Intel Mac compatible.
OS X performs certain maintenance functions that are scheduled to occur on a daily, weekly, or monthly period. The maintenance scripts run in the early AM only if the computer is turned on 24/7 (no sleep.) If this isn't the case, then an excellent solution is to download and install a shareware utility such as Macaroni, JAW PseudoAnacron, or Anacron that will automate the maintenance activity regardless of whether the computer is turned off or asleep.
OS X automatically defrags files less than 20 MBs in size, so unless you have a disk full of very large files there's little need for defragmenting the hard drive. As for virus protection there are few if any such animals affecting OS X. You can protect the computer easily using the freeware Open Source virus protection software ClamXAV. Personally I would avoid most commercial anti-virus software because of their potential for causing problems.
I would also recommend downloading the shareware utility TinkerTool System that you can use for periodic maintenance such as removing old logfiles and archives, clearing caches, etc.
For emergency repairs install the freeware utility Applejack. If you cannot start up in OS X, you may be able to start in single-user mode from which you can run Applejack to do a whole set of repair and maintenance routines from the commandline. Note that presently AppleJack is not compatible with Leopard.
When you install any new system software or updates be sure to repair the hard drive and permissions beforehand. I also recommend booting into safe mode before doing system software updates.
Get an external Firewire drive at least equal in size to the internal hard drive and make (and maintain) a bootable clone/backup. You can make a bootable clone using the Restore option of Disk Utility. You can also make and maintain clones with good backup software. My personal recommendations are (order is not significant):
    1. Retrospect Desktop (Commercial - not yet universal binary)
    2. Synchronize! Pro X (Commercial)
    3. Synk (Backup, Standard, or Pro)
    4. Deja Vu (Shareware)
    5. PsynchX 2.1.1 and RsyncX 2.1 (Freeware)
    6. Carbon Copy Cloner (Freeware - 3.0 is a Universal Binary)
    7. SuperDuper! (Commercial)
    8. Data Backup (Commercial)
The following utilities can also be used for backup, but cannot create bootable clones:
    1. Backup (requires a .Mac account with Apple both to get the software and to use it.)
    2. Toast
    3. Impression
    4. arRSync
Apple's Backup is a full backup tool capable of also backing up across multiple media such as CD/DVD. However, it cannot create bootable backups. It is primarily an "archiving" utility as are the other two.
Impression and Toast are disk image based backups, only. Particularly useful if you need to backup to CD/DVD across multiple media.
Visit The XLab FAQs and read the FAQs on maintenance, optimization, virus protection, and backup and restore.
Additional suggestions will be found in Mac Maintenance Quick Assist.

  • Essbase copy issue

    Hi
We have an issue with Essbase cube copy in EAS (essbase and eas are in version11.1.2.2) .  When we copy a cube we expect the access for the users and groups to be also available in the copied cube ie say groupA is assigned read access to cube1 but if we copy cube1 to cube2 we cannot see that groupA is also assigned read access to cube2 .  This issue did not happpen in System 9 and this is major issue for us since we rely on the process of taking snapshot of the cube monthly basis and losing the secuirty of the cube when copying is not acceptable

Are you copying it within the server / across server?
I am not much familiar with LCM but if you are using it may be I guess you can do it from there.
If LCM cannot hep you, you can achieve it using Maxl as Sh!va said . Take an export of the security, parse it using BATCH (Windows) / SHELL SCRIPT (UNIX) and update the security again (Export will serve as security backup too ).
We had an application way back in v6.5.7 and we did the same way.

  • UCCX 5 SQL Dbase Query Issues - Slow Returns

For several months it seemed to me that our UCCX 5 system was beginning to have trouble. At first it appeared as a problem with our wallboard system being unable to display the real-time data properly. I had deduced that queries to the db_cra database were taking 4 - 5 minutes to return data.
At first I called on the vendor for our wallboard, but they were unable to help stating that it was a UCCX database issue - and I agreed. I then went to Cisco TAC and fed them all my information and asked them for help. They also were unable to help figure out what was happening, but they could see that the SQL queries that used to take 2 seconds were now taking several minutes. Since the wallboard system queried the database every 10 seconds, it was over-taxing the database.
This began to cause little anomalies in things like call-distribution, dropped calls, slow to no Historical reports returns, and this ultimately began to cause failovers to our backup node. I could not go a day without a failover and I had to reboot the servers almost every night.
I felt there was no solution and was afraid we needed to replace our system.
After talking to all the engineers around the world, my solution came from our very own SQL administrator. Within 5 minutes he was able to resolve all our issues.
The root of our problem was that the indexing of the db_cra database was extremely fragmented.
He wrote a SQL sript that he had me run against the database and he told me that this would correct any indexing issues.
    It worked like a charm.
The system stopped behaving poorly immediately. This resolved many of our problems that I had been living with for a long time. It made the Admin page work so much faster, call distribution issues halted, the wallboard is running faster than ever with real-time data, and the list goes on. This resolved so many smaller issues that I cannot even list them all.
I would advise anyone using a SQL database, whether it be a Cisco product or not, to always keep their database 'defragmented'.
My SQL admin also setup the script to run automatically, on a schedule to keep our database running like a Ferrari. It has been sweet ever since.
KEEP YOUR INDEXES CLEAN AND YOU WILL REAP HAPPINESS!

I was equally shocked that there was no escalation, as was my boss and my Cisco rep. They let me go with no resolution and hung-up the phone leaving me with instructions to have some-one else take a look at the database. It was very unexpected, especially considering how close they were to the point when we were trouble-shooting.
The TAC SR # 611904619 - IPCC Database Not Returning Query Data.
With this resolution, it also raised to my mind the issue of Informix. We are using CUCM 6.1.2 and are concerned about the same issue happening there and we would like to determine if this can happen there also, and if there is a re-indexing tool available for Informix.

  • Complex Essbase MDX Issue - Need Guidance

    Hi,
I have a complex Essbase issue in ASO version 11.1.2.2. Currently I have a MDX formula with a Measure member named '10th Percentile'. It calculates the 10th Percentile perfectly. So new requirement is to create a new Measures member and instead of calculating the '10 Percentile' value, it needs to display the Customer Name of the value that is the 10th Percentile from the Customer dimension. So if I do a retrieval and the '10th Percentile' is 3.23, then it needs to display the Customer Name of the 3.23.
So I altered the formula to do what I think needs to be done and it verifies. However if I retrieve on that new measure in the Excel Add In, I get and error: An error [1200315] Occured in Spreadsheet Extractor. However if I navigate without data I don't get the error, but I also don't get any data, which I obviously need. So my question is, if MDX support reporting on Metadata not just Data, what/how can one report on it? Ideally I need to have this work in the Excel Add In as the client is using a custom vba modified template for their end users.
    Any ideas and help?

Here's the formula. I bolded the part that is new.....
IIF ( [Lbs Per Yard].CurrentMember IS [Lbs Per Yard].[No_Lbs/Yd] ,

Which version of EPM you are using?
If it is V11.1.1.3, I had similar kind of issue with FDM module. I was getting Server 500 error while trying to access FDM application URL and got it resolved with following steps. You can try same solution with Essbase.
The issue was - EPM System Configurator copied the wrong WebLogic IIS plugin on the Windows 64-bit operating system.
    To work around this issue:
1 Stop IIS from the following place:
    l IIS Admin Service*
    2 Copy iisforward.dll from: EPM_ORACLE_HOME/…/wlserver_10.3/server/plugin/ win/x64/iisforward.dll*
    to: EPM_ORACLE_HOME/DOMAIN_NAME/VirtualHosts/iisforward.dll*
    3 Copy iisproxy.dll from: EPM_ORACLE_HOME/…/wlserver_10.3/server/plugin/ win/x64/iisproxy.dll*
    to all folders under: EPM_ORACLE_HOME/DOMAIN_NAME/VirtualHosts*
    Hope it helps :-)

PS: Some of our servers went down recently... from that day itself i am facing this issue...

Since I made the post I have explored some more.  The SQL statements for the drill-though report definitions work with all cost centres, when I run them in a SQL console (SqlServer management console). But even when I create a new drill though report, it still only works only for the cost centres that previously worked successfully with the existing drill through reports.  There is no signifigant difference in Essbase between the cost centres that work and the ones that dont , so I am completely stumped

  • ESSBASE Aggregation Issue.

    Hi,
I am facing a serious problem with Essbase. Iam implementing Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.2 for one of our client and first time I am implementing this version.
The aggregation is not working in my setup. I have written a rule to aggregate the hierarchy. I have tried with AGG, CALC DIM, etc. But still the same issue.
I have also tried running the Calculate web form rule file, but still aggregation is not happening.
I have also noticed that in Planning Dimension maintenance, even the level 0 members showing the consolidation operation.
    Any body has clue?
Please help me as I am unable to proceed further.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Regards,
    Sunil.

It is probably worth testing your script as a calc script and then run it directly against the essbase database using EAS, then check the data with Smart View, this process should eliminate any issues in planning or calc manager.
If you are still having problems then post your script and I am sure somebody will give you some further advice.
    Cheers
