Event for Table rows deselection

Hi Guys,
I have created a Table and created a method for event 'OnSelect'.I am capturing row values into an internal table when user select a value from the table.Here my problem is once deselected after selecting the row ,the selected data is still appearing in the internal table but deselected value should get deleted from the table.How it can be acheived.Is there any event for deselection.

Hi nandana,
If i am understanding your query correctly, on Row select you are appending the row value to an internal table.
Now on deselect you want the row to be removed.
So do one thing in that event method before appending the row into table check if the row value previously exist.
If it exist then remove the row from internal table otherwise append it into the table.
Check it works or not.
If it is not working with onSelect event try to use onLeadSelect event.

So i want to set fire action event for particulars rows only which will saisfy some condition.

Your approach(setting fire action for few rows) seems not possible. Better to go ahead with workaround.
Do you want this functionality in processRequest(while page loading) or processFromRequest(on some event) method ? Give more explanation regd. your requirement ?
In either case loop through the rows and when your condition is met write the action to be performed in controller.

Custom FPM Event for Button row element

I have created a new button row element in standard screen, where I want to add custom FPM event and handle the same in get_data( ). But by default SAP is providing few event ID's in drop down.

Hi Remy,
Process Event method does have any signature parameters in it which allow us to disable/enable buttons.
We can handle this in Get data method.Get Data is always triggered after Process Event. So you can write that in Get Data instead.

    lw_action-enabled = abap_false.

Abap WD ALV: Event for calculation row?

Hi,
i have one Abap WebDynpro ALV Component. It is possible to register an event (ON_CLICK) for Cells which are an Link_to_action for example.
My Table:
ID | Group | Var
A1 | Test | 4
A2 | Test | 5
A3 | Dev | 4
A4 | Dev | 6
If i create the ON_CLICK event for the last row, which is then a link_to_action column, i can click on the numbers and the event is triggered
Now i have a table which uses the ALV Calculation feature and the Intermediate Results for the grouping.
My new output view is:
ID | Group | Var
->---Test 9
A1 | Test | 4
A2 | Test | 5
->---Dev 10
A3 | Dev | 4
A4 | Dev | 6
(It calculates the sum of the vars and groups it by the second column)
Now I need an Event if someone clicks on the numbers in the Var Row of the intermediate results row (here: 9 and 10). How can i do this?
If this is not possible, how can i register an event if someone expands or collapses a intermediate result row?

Getting at the data binding for table rows in ADF/UIX

At the highest level, I'm trying to figure out the best way to get spreadsheet-like behavior in a table where some of the cells are editable. The table cells were created using the "model=${uix.current.<columnName>}" mechanism.
I've been able to specify event handlers triggered by the <primaryclientaction> for a table cell component which call into static java methods. But I haven't been able to figure out what binding to use to get at the Java instance for that cell's row in order to use <invoke> to get at non-static methods in the row's view object. The ${uix.current} binding is stale at that point.
Are the table row data bindings just gone after the table is rendered or is there some alternate notation that lets me get at them.

the primaryclient action should pass the rowkey of the current row (${uix.current.rowKeyStr}) as a parameter. This way the server can find the corresponding row on the server in an event handler.

Disable Lead selection for table row cloumn

HI Team,
I have table with multiple rows and multiple columns.
Based on the lead selection of the row we are displaying the some form.
But in table row there are some columns like enter date, when the user is trying to enter the date, it displaying the form because of lead selection and it is not allowing the user to enter the date.
So, I want disable the lead selection for some columns.
How can I do this?

I think that you can get the UI Table in the wdDoModifyView method, and then the UI Column and play with his values, is something like this:
IWDTable table =(IWDTable)view.getElement( ");
And then play with the "column" methods.

Smartform_header event for table

Hello All,
In a smartform, I have header event for a table and this event has to get triggered at the start of the paragraph and at the page-break.
The problem what i face is,
when the paragraph(table) get printed exactly at the start of the page(second page), header event for the table get triggered twice(one for start of the paragraph and the second for page-break) and print the header twice.
Can you help me out.

Just double click on the header node of the table node.
And just check in the right side output options tab whether under the print time
both the checkboxes are checked .
Both should be checked . then only you can get the desired reault.

Bizarre Problem for table row deletion.please help

I am facing a most BIZARRE PROBLEM!!!
I have a table with a deleteButton by the side.
The table has 3 rows
ABC-----DELETE
BCD-----DELETE
VDG-----DELETE
I click on the delete Button of the first row,the record gets deleted from the table,
Now there are 2 records..
BCD-----DELETE
VDG--- -DELETE
I click on the delete Button of the first row,and I get the error
java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: Array index out of range: -1
The table.getSelectedRow() becomes -1 automatically...
Now if I comment out the Table deletion statements, and I click on any delete Button
i get the correct messages
You clicked row : 1
you clicked row : 2
After deletion of the first record,i am unable to delete the 2nd record,i get the
error above.

Different onMouseOver Event for each row of a report

As you can see in the demo, all employees of a department are shown when you click the detail link for a department. This is done with the help of AJAX technologie to avoid the submit of the page.
My question is: Is there a possibility to show the the employee report for the correct department when I move the mouse over the row of a department. In other words: what I am searching is a possiblity to define the behaviour of a certain row, so that code like
<tr onMouseOver="javascript:getEmps(1)">....</tr>
<tr onMouseOver="javascript:getEmps(2)">....</tr>
is generated.

Hi,
for this you need to call the PLSQL function upon table rendering, which means that you need a field in the table referencing a managed bean. In the managed bean you can use #{row} and resolve it using a ValueExpression. #{row} gives you access to the current rendered row (this is why you need to do it when the table renders) and thus allows you to call getAttribute(name) to get the values of field 1 - 3. The search field value you should get through the bindings reference (assuming the search form uses ADF). Then you create an operation binding for the executeWithParameters and call operationBindingName.getParamsMap().put(argname, argvalue); on it.

Many options for table row

Hi,
I'm making a page with a table. On every row many actions could me executed.
To show all the actions a user can choose I normaly use the rightmouse button to show al the options.
But as far as I know that is not possible with adf, do you have a other nice solutions to show a lot of options/actions?

How about a drop down list of the actions?
You can either put it in each row, or at the top of the table - so people select a row and then select an action.
In JDev 11 there is a context menu option for the table component :-)

The design property in Table properties should work for your requirement. Select "alternating" value for design.
Please see the API below:
design
Determines the appearance of the table. The property design can take the following values and is represented by enumeration type WDTableDesign.
alternating - The table rows are displayed alternately in a different color.
standard - The table background has one color. The individual table rows are displayed with grid net lines.
transparent - The table background is transparent. The individual table rows are displayed without grid net lines.
Check whether you have changed the right property or not? Also table should contain more than one rows to test this scenario.

Applying table scroll bar for only table rows with table columns fixed.

hi oa gurus,
i had implemented table scroll bars using oarawtextbean , there is no problem in vertical and horizontal scroll bar working its working fine. but the requirement is i need to scroll only the table rows with table columns fixed. so , how to achieve the table scroll for only table datas neglecting table headers.
the code for vertical and horizontal bars scroll is like this,

Blue-white colored table rows

Hi, table design gurus!
I need in blue-white colored table rows. It looks like Table desing in altenating mode. Alternating mode fits my needs except one. This mode restricts read-only tables but I have regular table with editable cells. Well, I have read an article about how to build colorful tables. Ok, I have got a table in a different colors. But neither blue or white color were not found in WDTableCellDesign. How to use blue and white colors for table row background? I should not ovveride CSS using WD Theme Editor. I want to set a color implicitly in java code. Please, help me.

I have never used it, but there is a property called semanticColor in the TextView of the columns of the table.
Go to the layout of the view. Look in the Outline. There you will find Table -> TableColumn -> Caption + TextView. In the properties of the TextView you will find in the semanticColor.
The semanticColor needs to be linked to an element inside the table in the context. So create a node inside the table with cardinality 1..1 and selection 1..1 and add a (calculated) attribute to the node with the correct type (I don't know this one....it is probably inside "com.sap.ide.webdynpro.uielementdefinitions". My guess would be com.sap.ide.webdynpro.uielementdefinitions.TableCellDesign.
Ones you have linked the cell to the attribute in the node you will have to code the changes in color doing something like this. that will probably be easiest if the attribute is of the calculated kind
In the calculated attibute you return WDTableCellDesign.GOODVALUE_LIGHT or whatever color you want.

Check for empty table row before adding date

On the form below, when I click the green + button (far right), a new table row is created with today's date. the user can then enter more text to the right of the date. Problem is when the form is saved and reopened, the text the user enters is deleted and new today's date added because it is in the intialize event. How do I script to check and make sure each dated row is empty before adding today's date?

One option would be to use the caption area of the textfield for the date and leave the value portion free for the user to input their data:
