Event ID 1020 from server trying to relay through Exchange
I have a server that serves as a document workflow process. It uses Exchange as its SMTP server, and all worked when we were on Exchange 2010. Now, with Exchange 2013, it no long can send emails. The client side error makes it sound like
it's trying to send out too many emails at a time and I need to bump up some settings. On the server side it seems like it's a permissions issue.
On the client end, they get the error:
Error occurred while sending mail. Detail: Service not available, closing transmission channel. The server response was: 4.3.2 The maximum number of concurrent connections has exceeded a limit, closing transmission channel.
One the Exchange 2013 side I see this error each time:
Event ID 1020 MSExchangeFrontEndTransport
The account 'NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON' provided valid credentials, but is not authorized to use the server; failing authentication.
Hi ,
On exchange 2013 either you would have the default receive connector or custom receive connector to accept the emails from the server that serves as a document workflow process.
On that receive connector , please check the parameters "MaxInboundConnectionPerSource & MaxInboundConnection & MaxInboundConnectionPercentagePerSource & ConnectionTimeout & ConnectionInactivityTimeout " and for a testing purpose ,
please change the values as per your requirement.
Better way is to have the separate receive connector for accepting emails from the application server instead of doing the changes on the default receive connector.
On my side i strongly suspecting the error occurred on your side is because of minimal value on the parameter " MaxInboundConnectionPerSource" in receive connector .Anyhow the best practice is to check all the parameter and do the changes on the
receive connector which you have utilized to receive emails from the application server.
Reference Link for the above parameters: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-in/library/bb125140(v=exchg.150).aspx
Note : I hope you are not relaying emails to the users in outside world through exchange server from the server which doing the document workflow process.
I case if would like to do that we need to assign some permissions on the newly created or custom receive connector to achieve your scenario.Because by default exchange will not be in open relay.

Sending photos from iPad to company email through Exchange and Outlook
When sending emails with attached photos from my iPad to other employees using outlook off our exchange server, the photos sometimes show up as attachments (good thing) and sometimes display in the body of the email not as attachments (useless)
My iDevices are all using the mail app and are synced with my company email through exchange. This issue only appears from iDevice's and is random.
We also have Android devices in the company and they do not have this issue.
All emails originate from my devices as new mail and I have tried to copy past the photos and also sharing them directly from the gallery. I also have issues with FWD email with attachments but I am familiar with these issues and and some workarounds.
Our server was just upgraded to the newest available specs 3 months ago, prior we could not send any images from iDevices.
When the photos show up in the body without attachments is makes saving them very inconvenient and at times they wont save at all. This feature is a real issue die to the way we are required to transfer info to our client.
Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks Joe. We have discovered from this forum, actually, that if you send the photos from the iPhone, if that's where they were taken, then you are asked what size.
"If you send from the camera, then you get the option of reducing the size. If you send from your other photos synced from your computer, they don't have that option of reducing."
I tested it by sending a couple of photos taken by my iPhone, and sure enough, was asked as to size. Then sent the same two photos from my iPad (Photostream) and was not asked. Interestingly though, the sizes were identical in both emails. -
Error from users trying to send through Ironport
Hi guys,
I have an intermittent problem with users trying to send mails through the our C150. It happens from Vista and XP users using Outlook 2003 and 2007.
From the users point of view the error message is "Your outgoing SMTP server does not support SSL-secured connections".
TLS is enabled on the Ironport, outlook 2003 only has the SSL option, but 2007 and Thunderbird users see the error message sometimes even though TLS is selected.
The Ironport works for 99% of users all of the time, but every now and again this error will rear its head.
If anyone has any wisdom to impart it would be greatly appreciated.
This is what it looks like from the smtp_conversation

Maybe I'm pointing you into the wrong direction, on forehand my apologies for that.
What I need you should check: Ironport has a limit on the number of concurrent TLS session. Your problem might occur when this limit is reached and an additional host tries to setup a TLS connection.
(Not sure, just a shot in the dark)
Good luck with this problem,
Best Regards,

Team , Thanks for looking into this ..
As a last resort on optimizing my stored procedure ( Below ) i wanted to create a Selective XML index ( Normal XML indexes doesn't seem to be improving performance as needed ) but i keep getting this error within my stored proc . Selective XML
Index feature is not supported for the current database version.. How ever
EXECUTE sys.sp_db_selective_xml_index; return 1 , stating Selective XML Indexes are enabled on my current database .
Is there ANY alternative way i can optimize below stored proc ?
Thanks in advance for your response(s) !

Error in IB (When trying to import objects into ESR from SLD or from server
Hi Experts,
We are facing an error with the Integration builder recently. When we open Enterprise Services Repository of PI 7.1, we are able to see the GUI with objects perfectly. When we try to import an object into the repository from the server ( In ESR, choose Tools -> Import Design objects -> From Server), we are thrown with an exception...
Error when exectuting search (QUERY_ERROR)
& java.lang.NullPointerException
The server throws the above two exceptions. I have pasted the logs of the error when trying to import an object from the server and also from the sld, below.
Have any of you experieced the issue? Request you to please check this out and suggest what the problem could be. Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Basker

Thanks for your inputs. I myself am a basis guy. I ve already checked all the authorizations given to the user - PISUPER, and have found it to be fine. Can't understand why this security issue crops up still. anyways, i m getting this error when trying to import an object from the server. If i try to create a new object and during the process, try to import the SCV from SLD, i m facing with an error again, of a different sort. The log says...

I need help with event structure.
I am trying to feed the index of the array, the index number can vary from 0 to 7.
Based on the logic ouput of a comparison, the index buffer should increment
or decrement every time the output of comparsion changes(event change). I guess I need to use event structure?
(My event code doesn't execute when there is an event at its input /comparator changes its boolean state.
Anyone coded on similar lines? Any ideas appreciated.
Thanks in advance! You don't need an Event Structure, a simple State Machine would be more appropriate.
There are many examples of State Machines within this forum.

Trying to publish an event to fb from iPhoto '09, 8.1.2. Getting error message: "Line 22: Opening and ending tag mismatch: meta line 0 and head". Never had any trouble before. What in the world?
See if you can export those same photos to a folder on your Desktop.

FCP X deleted about 2/3 of events to a project and the project. I uploaded the project to vimeo from FCP X, and the next day when I tried to use FCPX, they were gone, the events are gone from fcp and my ext hd, the project is still on the ext hd, but it won't recognize in FCP X even though my ext HD shows in the project tab. anybody any clue how to bring it back?
Thanks for the reply Andy.
No, I don't have identical projects on a second drive, only saving to the movies folder on internal HD. The files and media save there fine, but fcp doesn't seem to recognise them the next day, just opens with one new untitled event and no projects.
I have tried saving to en external HD tonight and will see if the problem happens again with this set up when I restart tomorrow.
But I should be able to save to internal HD, so something is going wrong...

Once I have downloaded email on my iPad the same is not downloaded on my laptop. Have tried all settings including choosing the setting DELETE FROM SERVER:NEVER and REMOVE FROM SERVER:NEVER
Hey rbrylawski, just wanted to let you know that my ipad email problems have been solved. Called Apple Sup in OZ, I'm in NZ. Daniel Barber was the support tech from heaven!! I was about to return the ipad but solving this issue reset my faith in phone support.....perhaps until I call a differnet companys phone support eh? Anyhow, for reference the fix is below. My accounts are all POP not IMAP, and the primary smtp server setting had defaulted to have SSL switched on and the port was set to 5XX (something, cant remember). Anyhow, SSL was switched off and the port was swithced to 25. VOILÀ!! Settings/Mail, contacts, calendars/My POP mail account/smtp/primary server/ >>> server on, no username and password, use SSL off, no authentication, Server Port 25 Thanks for having a crack at it. This might help when assisting another user. Cheers Tonino

'Cannot obtain error message from server' when trying to use ODBC
Post Author: Grant C
CA Forum: Data Connectivity and SQL
Hi, I'm developing some reports using Crystal XI on my local PC, using an Oracle 10i back end on a separate server. The SQL for the report is in a method in an oracle package.
When I set the datasource location, selecting 'Oracle Server' then entering the details works fine, and the report runs. However, when I try to use an ODBC connection I get the following error:
Database Connection Error: 'Cannot obtain error message from server.'
The ODBC link is set up as a System DSN, which works fine when I test it. I think I need to use ODBC as some of the reports (which I inherited) seem to fail when run on the Crystal Server, and it seeme to be the ones set up with ODBC which work.
Any thoughts? Thanks.Hi Mars-
It sounds like your NI-DAQ installation may have become corrupted. I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the DAQmx 7.4 driver to correct this problem and ensure that you're up to date. This download is available here: NI-DAQ 7.4
If the problem persists you may want to uninstall and reinstall LabVIEW and then NI-DAQ in that order. The error message will usually give an indication as to which VI the error occurred in. Please let us know which VI is failing if you're unable to avoid the error with these suggestions.
Have a good day-

tried this but does not work...
var request:URLRequest = new URLRequest("
http://localhost:8080/pack1/importAction.action");
request.contentType="multipart/form-data";
in the interceptor it expects the request to be instanceof
MultiPartRequestWrapper...
Further the document says that FileReference.upload() and
FileReference.download() methods do not support the
URLRequest.contentType and URLRequest.requestHeaders parameters.

PrintBrm.exe - Migrating printers from Server 2008 R2 to 2012 R2
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to migrate our printers from a Windows Server 2008 R2 to a brand new Windows Server 2012 R2. While doing this, we also want to switch the drivers to a newer version. As I successfully tried this a year before with the PrintBrm.exe (but from Server
2008 R2 to another Server 2008 R2), I choosed this tool again.
Unfortunately it fails at some point this time. The printer export and import succeeds every time, but if I'm trying to print a testpage on the new server, it won't stop printing hyroglyphs... Only if I install a printer manually (same driver), it works
fine.
Do you have any solutions or ideas for that? For better troubleshooting, I attached an image of one failed testpage and the code I've written, too. Looking forward for some ideas.
Best regards, Andreas

In addition, please open Event Viewer and check if you can find any related event (Source: PrintBRM). If any
