firefox is just an empty icon from what i can tell... when i upgraded to 10.9.5 on my mac firefox no longer works. it turns into a grey screen and then just ends up disappearing to the finder window... the application remains on, and won't force quit. I must re-start in order for it to Not be running... I've used firefox and mac for over 8 years and never seen anything like this.... I'm sure it's on the mac side of things, but I'm hoping y'all can fix it... it truly sucks to loose my favorite browser and all my saved bookmarked tabs and all
Your bad charger probably damaged something inside as well. Your hard drive directory may be damaged too.

Both my wife and I have iPhone 5 and we use Siri a lot. Ever since we upgraded to IOS 7 we found that frequently we get a reply from Siri something like "This is embarrassing but I cannot handle a request right now". Prior to IOS 7 this did not happen.
tonefox is probably right. Server overload. I also notice that when siri does respond correctly, it is slower. My wife has a 4s and same story, and she has not upgraded to IOS 7.

I have not been able to back up in Time capsule since I upgraded my mac to MAC OSX Lion 10.7.5.
Do I need a new external drive or an erased drive to get it to work with the lion software?Either new or an erased drive is fine, as long as it is formated Mac OS Extended (Journaled).
By the way: I find that Carbon Copy Cloner is a much simpler and efficient "clone"(backup) solution, especially if you're using an external drive.

Ever since i upgraded my iPhone4s, i'm not to get to camera on first screen.
since i upgraded to os 5.1 ...when i click camera icon, on start up screen, not able to get to camera.
i have to go the old way of going to home screen than click camera icon.
what's up?If you slide it up it will get to it. I am confused because I used to have to double press the circle button to get it and now I don't. Not sure if I like that option just in case it would get brushed up against something.

Try:

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

Then your basic issues are: too little RAM, incompatible software, dysfunctional installation.
Add more RAM or kill as many programs that you use until the computer is running normally.

Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Reinstalling OS X Without Erasing the Drive
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility and press the Continue button. After Disk Utility loads select the Macintosh HD entry from the the left side list. Click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If Disk Utility reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit Disk Utility and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

ever since I upgraded to ios 7, my battery life is very short. I do not use the ipad all that much and have to charge it twice as much as before. I have been on the phone to Apple 3 times and turned off a number of things that I am not using and now power it off more regularly but still not happy with battery life. It is less than a year old and as I said, I don' t use it all that much
My best bet would be to restore the phone. Back it up to itunes, and then reset it Factory settings. This way, any corrupt software will be removed, and you can start fresh. Make sure you back it up first. By the sounds of it, you are using the phone for business and probably need the data from it. Hope this helps!

Hello! Ever since I upgraded my iPhone 5s to IOS 7.1, I am unable to access the iPhone Keyboard if I access contacts using the recent calls tab. I am also unable to access the keyboard if I want to search for a contact as long as I went through the recent calls tab. Has anyone a fix for this problem? If you want to try it out, do the following?
Dial a number from your iPhone Keypad. After cutting the call, try to save the number you just dialled to your contacts by choosing the new contact option. You will see that you will not be able to key in the name of your new contact.Works fine for me.
Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset. -
ever since I upgraded iPhoto to 9.5, my camcorder videos aren't all downloading properly and I have several of the videos to say a necessary data reference could not be found. I also can see many of the pixels on the video footage that was downloaded. Anyone have any suggestions???
What version of iPhoto and system are you using? Also what camera make and model are you using?
See if you can download all of the videos to a folder on the Desktop using Image Capture and import into iPhoto from that folder.

I upgraded to 10.7.4, to upgrade to iCloud. And ever since the upgrade to iCloud, my iCal, Address book, etc. won't sync to my iPhone. My iMAC does sync with my MacBook Pro but not to my iPhone. What do I do? And though my iMac sync to my MacBook Pro, there is a little problem. My iCal shows let's say 9 AM in my iMAC, it shows 8 AM in the MacBook Pro. The scheduling in the iCAL is a bet of a mess eer since of the upgrade.
PLEASE HELP ME SOMEBODY PLEASE!!!To sync to your iPhone, you need to check iCloud requirements to be sure your iPhone is compatible with iCloud and your iPhone software is up to date.
You also need to make sure iCloud is enabled on the iPhone.
And you need to make sure the iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi in order to sync.
For the time difference, be sure the time settings on each device is the same with time zone and daylight saving time the same setting on each. -
