Ever since the large update my Apple TV has become completely inconsistent. Unable to connect to WiFi or keep a connection when I get one. As well before the update it would connect really quickly, now even when it does connect it takes forever to do it.
A few weeks ago I was using my Apple TV ( gen 3) and it started to automaticall do an update. That was the really long one. Ever since then I have been having more trouble getting it to connect to my WiFi and stay connected.
I just did another update and nothing seems to have changed. Please don"t tell me it's interference or I need to "reboot" the system. I've done that so many times my cats know how to do it now!
I've tried everything that I can find online and in my users guide but nothing seems to be helping except unplugging it and starting over, every time I change shows. I'm ready to toss it out a window, any ideas? And no, it doesn't seem to qualify as the models that were being replaced.
I have been having the same issue and am now VERY upset because it works for about 5 minutes so I bought a movie(that you can only watch on AppleTV once you buy it) thinking it would work...but now it stopped again. I rebooted the system I even reset the thing with no luck. I got into the first 2 minutes of the movie and only have 24 hours left to watch it. At the moment I am not very satisfied with the AppleTV update and hope it is fixed and I get my 6.99$ back.

Hi apple, I have currently got a visa $50 gift card. I put it on my iTunes account I have currently ran out of funds on the card. Now even when I try to download free apps or even update, it says it requires a new credit card. Is there a way around this
We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
If you have a credit card on your account then it needs to be valid. Have you tried removing it from yoru account ? On your iPad try tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Store on iOS 6+) and selecting 'View Apple ID' on the popup - that should give you a payments link on your account's page. -

iTunes is updated and works fine and I am able to log onto my account. When I go to purchase a song, I get the error message "Your Apple ID has been disabled". I've tried different methods: changing passwords, making a new account with another email address, and emailing itunes tech support. I am curious as to how many others have been experiencing the same issue. When I googled the error, it seemed like it was happening extremely often with many people.

I had some fraudulent charges on my itunes account, so I call my bank and disputed the charges. Right after I did that, I started getting the message "Your apple ID has been disabled." I just realized today that the charges are not fraudulent, they are "in app purchases." One of my daughters downloaded the game Top Girl which is FREE, but in the game Top Girl you use money in the game to purchase things. It just so happens that the money you use to purchase things is real money MY Money!!!. My daughter thought she was using play money in the game and had no idea she was using real money. She spent $106.00 buying stuff. Now I have to call the bank and tell them to release the hold and pay Itunes. I'm hoping this solves the problem. I just bought a new pc and for our internet connection we have an airport express. My laptop can connect to it but my airport utility won't recognize it. Even though it does connect to the internet about every 15 minutes the internet shuts off. What should I do?
If you've not yet tried, unpower the AppleTV for a minute or so and restart - this occasionally corrects issues.
If not and the software update seems to have caused an issue, go to the Settings menu and choose to Restore it (this will erase all settings) to reapply current firmware.

Hard to say. The speed of your Internet connection. Congestion on YouTube's servers, problems at any point in between you and them... When you are connected to WiFi, you will get a substantially higher resolution version of some videos than you do on 3G.
Are you using the youtube app or are you just accessing it via a web browser. -
How to I get music I purchased before the iCloud was created to show up on my new authorized iPhone? Right now I can only see the Apps I recently purchased on the actual phone but older music I purchased on my CPU using the same Apple ID doesn't appear.
Does any music show in the Purchased tab on the iTunes store app on your phone ? Music can't be re-downloaded in all countries, and even where it can be it will only appear whilst it remains in the store. Do you have your purchases on your computer and/or on a backup of your puchases so that you can sync them to your phone ?

You'd need to look for an HDMI to RCA adapter of some kind - as the RCA connectors are generally for standard definition video and stereo audio, the picture quality may not be great as AppleTV really expects an HD TV of 720p or more. You would have more issues if the TV is not widescreen as well.
I can't really recommend an adapter for those connections as I've never used one. The annoyance with HDMI is despite offering good quality, adapters are frowned upon by the media 'industry' who don't want anyone being able to record/copy via analogue connections.
I'd maybe look on Amazon in your country or e-bay for something, but as I say you can't guarantee it would work.
The AppleTV 1 had analogue connections but that was component video (as well as HDMI) not really composite (yellow RCA) though some reported some kind of 'hack' that allowed one of the component RCA connections to output composite signal. That model is discontinued and really doesn't support many of the newer features.
Current AppleTVs are not an ideal mix with modern TVs I'm afraid. You may not want a new TV but rather than trying to find an adapter it might be worth considering an entry level HDMI TV as they are far cheaper these days. -

Do you also connect the external USB drive to the AC power as well while you use it ?
Sometimes USB external drive problems are resolved simply by plugging them into the mains power and trying again.

Due to recent security issues and identify theft (mostly due to phishing scams), the iTunes Store seems to be requiring more frequent verification of credit card information when a card is registered in your account, even if you have a balance from a prepaid card. Either just go through the verification process or, if you have a credit card entered and you don't expect to need the card anytime soon, go into the Payment information in your account and set the payment method to "none" which should then stop the regular requirements for verification (it may still ask - mine does - but you should just be able to click through the buttons without problems).

I changed my apple id password and the apple id is still fine, but itunes has it disabled. I verified that the computer is authorized for this apple id. What to do now?

Have you tried a 'hard reset'. You do not lose any of your data on the iPad.
Here are the steps:
Press the Power Buton and the Home button simultaneously.
Continue to hold down both buttons until the iPad shuts off
Release the buttons when the Apple Logo appears.
Also, make sure your iPad is not in airplane mode. Settings, Airplane mode is the first option under settings,
