Every time i click anywhere, on any page, the blinking line that shows up when you're typing appears on the page.
for instance, when i was typing this question, the blinking line appeared in the box. when i clicked outside the box, it appeared next to the header above this form, as if i could type there.
a lot of the time, if i try to click away, the blinking line applies itself to the entire page. if i do manage to get it to vanish, i can't scroll with my arrow keys; if i don't, hitting the down arrow takes me to the bottom of the page, and hitting the up arrow does nothing.
i can still follow links and such.

Reset the home page and default search engine in all the browsers, if it was changed.
Step 2
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
/Library/LaunchAgents/com.vsearch.agent.plist
Right-click or control-click the line and select
Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item named "com.vsearch.agent.plist" selected. Drag the selected item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator login password.
Repeat with each of these lines:

Restart the computer and empty the Trash. Then delete the following items in the same way:

You may be wondering why you didn't get a warning from Gatekeeper about installing software from an unknown developer, as you should have. The reason is that the Internet criminal behind VSearch has a codesigning certificate issued by Apple, which causes Gatekeeper to give the installer a pass. Apple could revoke the certificate, but as of this writing has not done so, even though it's aware of the problem. This failure of oversight has compromised both Gatekeeper and the Developer ID program. You can't rely on Gatekeeper alone to protect you from harmful software.

Every time I click something on web pages, like a link or a search bar, I get a pop-up. It's usually a semi-related pop-up, like on Apple websites, I get a lot of MacKeeper pop-ups. I let my younger brother use my laptop yesterday, and now this is happening. I think he might have downloaded something, but I don't know what it is called or anything so I don't know how to delete it.

I created an album in iPhoto and every time I click on slideshow it plays the pictures backwards from the order in the album. How do I change that?
When running a slideshow from an album it will not run properly if the photos are sorted manually. Sort them by any of the other options, title, date, rating, etc. and it will play correctly.
Send a report of the problem to Apple via http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html.
If you must sort them manually create the slideshow in the slideshow mode in iPhoto, not from an album.

I believe that the question is self descriptive. I open a new tab and it opens. I click on my home page which is Google. The browser then opens a second tab and in the second tab that it opens is the Mozilla start page. if I do this several times during the day I end up with several tabs open to the Mozilla start page and it is irritating.

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.

Can I stop the updates from popping up every time I click on firefox? It updates to often.
When ever there is an update available a pop up comes on when I click on my firefox browser. If I dont install the update then that pop up shows up every time I click on my browser. When I search something from the address bar, it uses a search engine called http://thesmartsearch.net/ in stead ıf gooogle. Although, I set it back to google from preferences, it automatically goes back to this smartsearch engine. Also, streaming has slowed down, it feels like something is continuously running at the background and my fans are non-stop working right now. I'm scared if I have a virus or something. My macbook Pro is stuck on a grey screen with language select and every time i click english it brings me back to the same gray page with language select what do i do? If the Mac starts up normally, shut it down again and then plug in one of the peripherals (keyboard or mouse first) and start up your computer again. If it does so successfully repeat the process, adding one peripheral at a time until your Mac acts up. At that point, disconnect the last peripheral you added, reboot your Mac and search the peripheral vendor's website for an updated driver.
If no driver exists or the problem remain after installing the new driver, try a different cable or a different port on your Mac.
If none of the above works, again disconnect all peripherals from your Mac, hold down the "shift" key to start up in "Safe Boot" mode.
If the Mac starts up correctly, restart without pressing the "shift" key.
If your computer still does not start up properly, shut it down and restart it while holding down the Apple+Option-P-R keys; keep holding "all 4 keys" down until you hear the startup sound "twice."
If none of the above work Disconnect all peripherals from your computer. Boot from your install disc & run Repair Disk from the utility menu. To use the Install Mac OS X disc, insert the disc, and restart your computer while holding down the C key as it starts up.
Select your language.
Once on the desktop, select Utility in the menu bar.
Select Disk Utility.
Select the disk or volume in the list of disks and volumes, and then click First Aid.
Click Repair Disk.
(If Disk Utility cannot repair, you will need a stronger utility (3rd party) - Diskwarrior or Techtool PRO)
Restart your computer when done.

Remove any 3rd party ram.
Reinstall Leopard - This will install a "fresh" copy Leopard without archiving old system files but leaves the rest of your files in place.

Start up from your install disc, go to Disk Utility and select the disk and click erase - to securely erase data click Security Options and Erase Free Space which will entirely wipe your disk, overwriting it with zeros so that no data is recoverable.

It sounds like you are unable to print from Pages at all from your computer. I want to recommend troublehsooting the Mac OS for print issues with this article named:

Follow these steps until the issue is addressed:
