EXC_BAD_ACCESS without writing any code!

This is driving me crazy so I hope someone can help. Basically, I am getting a EXCBADACCESS error in Xcode without writing a single line of my own code. It occurs if I open the same NSWindow object twice. The first time, the window opens perfectly but, the second time, it generates the error.
I actually started getting this error in an app I am working on but couldn't find the fault and so created a brand new project to troubleshoot and still get the error from the most basic scenario possible. As follows:
- Created a new project
- Opened MainMenu.Nib in interface builder
- Added an NSWindow object
- Added a NSButton to the original NSWindow
- Control Dragged to add a makeKeyAndOrderFront: to the new window
- Built and Ran the App
- Pushed the button and the second window came to the front
- Closed the window, pushed the button again and EXCBADACCESS
I have reinstalled the latest SDK twice without any joy.
Any thoughts???

You came to the right place.

By default NSWindow is released when closed. You can just uncheck +Release When Closed+ under Behavior in the Attributes Inspector. An alternative would be to connect another object's outlet to the window, e.g. the 'window' outlet of a window controller or a custom app delegate.
Note that setting an object as the target of an action doesn't increase the reference count for the purpose of garbage collection and doesn't retain the object in a non-gc environment.

Thanks. Your answer was correct, but my question was not as clear as It should have been. The only "animations" I currently have are images used as buttons. The top image is before and the button down image shows the sky replacement. These can be seen on the home page at www.2000skies.com. I also have some flash slide shows which would be nice to replicate, but not essential.

You can get it from Rest,
There are 2 options,
1) create a 'Result Source' which has a search query for that List which has attachments
- Use rest query to get the 'Filename' , it will have the attachment file name
For example, if the result source id is : 73e6b573-abf8-4407-9e5f-8a85a4a95159 , then the query will be
http://[site URL]/_api/search/query?querytext='*'&selectproperties='Title,Path,FileExtension,SecondaryFileExtension,Filename'&sourceid='73e6b573-abf8-4407-9e5f-8a85a4a95159'&startrow=0&rowLimit=100
You can refine the query, be giving proper 'querytext'
2) Use the List rest api

Hello,
For simple single table reporting as this just use transaction code SE16 or SE16N. Filter your results as you would in any standard report selection screen using the search bubble option on the selected fields. After inputting the table select "Settings --> Fields For Selection" at the selection screen from the toolbar to add fields for the search. You may then download the results from "System --> List --> Save --> Local File" (Spreadsheet).

Sure Sun provides the tools: it is called the compiler. Now all you need to do is write the code for a portal. But since there are vendor specific solutions available that could make your life a lot easier, writing one yourself is like reinventing the wheel.
Pardon my mild sarcasm, but avoiding API's not developed by Sun is not the general idea behind the Java platform. You are encouraged to use those API's.

To avoid writing database code in the front end

I am working on a database application using 10g database as backend and dotnet as front end. I wish to execute only oracle stored procedure for all the select (to avoid hard parse and use of bind variable), DDL and DML operations; just to avoid writing database code in the front end. Can anyone please give me a little examples of :
1.Select query's output to be return as resultset by stored procedure.
2.DML example by stored procedure.
3.Any DDL example by stored procedure.
using scott.emp, so that i would just call the stored procedure, rather than giving select,DML and/or DDL commands in the front end. Even though i have read in the documentation, but a clear cut examples will help me to get into clear concept as well.

1) i have to extract the data first from a custom table based on one condition and then placing it into internal table .
2) Now i have to loop at source_package for a particular region field say "ASIA". with this result i have to check for the correponding entries in custoom table .
   if condition is not true (i.e ) with entries or not matching then delete that particular record from source_package.
i have written a small logic for this . but this is producing any ouput , Please check it and also let me know for modifications .

Writing web code on a Mac???? And FTP Programs?

Alright, so bear with me on this one. I've been using mac's for years for my graphic design and graphic pieces of my web sites, but I still use my PC to write the code (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, mostly) that the sites run on. I write it, in true old-fashioned sense, in Notepad.
However, now my overglorified word processor (PC) is being totally, ridiculously, slow and acting weird... I think it did this before my last Blue Screen of Death, so luckily I've backed up everything important. Anyway, I thought I'd give writing code on the Mac (a gorgeous 20" imac, in all its wondrous glory) a shot. Here's what I've done:
- Open TextEdit, type in a few lines of test code.
- Save As : select HTML as the file type, with a file name of "Test" or something.
- Open the file in Safari, expecting to see a real, webpage. Instead? I see my code. Black text, white background, flaunting every little
and tag like a defiant child smearing raspberry jam all over my couch.
I just can't switch to a WYSIWYG editor and lose the (tyrannical) control I've had over my web pages from writing the code in notepad. So what should I be doing to write code on a mac? I need to know soon, since my PC will be exploding any day now. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
P.S. I'd prefer not to have to spend any money to purchase a text editor for web code. Am I being cheap? I don't really know. But if I can use a program that's already on my mac, I'm all for it.
P.P.S. Also, I've been uploading code/images/etc. to my hosts via the WinSCP FTP software, on a PC. Can anyone recommend good FTP software for OSX (10.4.10).

Both of iFelix's suggestions are great free apps and I would recommend them also.
If you don't mind shelling out some money for the apps (after a trial of course), I myself use Panic's Coda (http://www.panic.com/coda/) for coding. A lot of people also prefer apps like TextMate (http://macromates.com/).
CSSEdit (http://macrabbit.com/cssedit/) is a really nice combination of a WYSIWYG and source editior strictly for CSS also (Coda has this sort of functionality built in also).
As far as FTP, if you arent happy with the free options, Panic makes an app called Transmit (http://www.panic.com/transmit/) that is excellent, and is also basically built into Coda.

How to create a new aspx page in Pages library using Elements.xml without including any aspx page layout in my feature?

Is it possible to have the elements.xml file create a page in the Pages (or SitePages) library without actually including any sort of page layout or aspx artifact in the feature?
I see no reason to add a mywebpartlayout.aspx to my feature just so I can deploy a Home.aspx based on the BlankWebPart.aspx page layout.
I'm sure there is something obvious I am missing with regards to the Elements schema (which is why I've almost given up on using it completely and just gone to pure C#) but
I would really like to do this kind of simple stuff with declarations if at all possible. Must less code to write, debug, test and maintain.

I can't be more clear than "without including ANY sort of page layout or aspx artifact (meaning anything ending in aspx) IN THE FEATURE". I am not capitalizing to yell,
only to emphasize. Your disagreement is based on a link that shows ADDING AN ARTIFACT (the dummy MyPage.aspx) to a feature. I am asking if it
is possible (again, I cannot be more clear) to just use an Elements.xml file to instruct SharePoint to make a new item in a Pages or SitePages library.
Your definition of page includes Page Layouts and what you call Web Part Pages (again, a type of page layout + data in a site pages list that says what webparts
to display). Page Layouts are clearly NOT items stored inside of a SitePages or Publishing Pages library. Those libraries are just lists whose records
define the parts to show inside a specific layout.
When I refer to a Page I mean an entry into a pages (site pages/publishing pages) list. If I wanted to deploy a page layout then, quite obviously, I would need
to include it into my solution. I think maybe you are assuming that I do not know the difference. I do. The question is, can an Elements file alone be enough to instruct SharePoint to make a new entry into a Pages or SitePages library.
Now, your second link does show how to reference an existing Page Layout. Thank you for that. It is excellent. But this still leaves the problem of having to
add some sort of aspx page into the solution. Let me try to explain why I feel this SHOULD BE unnecessary: The aspx file will not have anything on it if I am referring to the ~sitecollections/.../BlankWebPartPage.aspx layout.
All web parts and content that should appear on the new page can be described IN the Elements.xml file. Any sort of aspx file is unnecessary, it seems to me.
So, if I am referencing a ~sitecollections/.../BlankWebPartPage.aspx page layout and specifying the web parts to add to the page, why should there be a
requirement to have some aspx file within the feature? That's what I am trying to figure out.
I am not asking for source code as proof. I am asking for an Elements file that does NOT reference anything AT ALL inside the Visual Studio solution for reasons I just described.
If you do not know how to do it then perhaps it cannot be done but I would like the question to stay unanswered for a little while until someone can demonstrate either a) it CAN
be done or b) a link to some Microsoft document stating that it is MANDATORY to have a physical element within the feature that gets copied to the environment.

wrap those xml chunk with a class having clear public properties like:

simpliest way is to change xml structure to use attributes than wrapping that thing with AS code, it's time consuming and non efficient.
