Hello,
My application has as a root element an Anchor Pane.
When trying to have 2 or more instances (new-->..) in my application (because my application supprts many instances of this componenet) i got this error:
Anchor pane already set as root of another scene.
Help

As David said above, this is going to be very hard to diagnose if you don't post some code. Otherwise we just have to make guesses as to what the issue is. Post a simple, self-contained, executable example which demonstrates the problem.

I am designing a project which demands many scenes to be involved in. so, I am trying to send the playhead to another scene by clicking on a button existed in a movie Clip at the main root. I used gotoAndPlay demand. but, it is not working. Do you have any command can I use in this situation?

From what I can tell of that image, it appears that it should be okay. A likely cause of additional problems is the use of scenes... I never recommend using them... they can be problematic to navigate. I can offer what someone else would probably tell you to try in this situation. In frame 1 of the aboutus scene, put a frame label "aboutus_frame1", and then change line of code to _root.gotoAndPlay("aboutus_frame1");
IF that doesn't work, then I can't offer much else except to say to not use scenes. Use movieclips and/or the one timeline with sections spread along it.

FireFox doesn't fully close so whenever I reopen it refuses to open secure sites I had up when I closed it; it keeps thinking that the tab is already open and wont open another one. How do you fix this?

Whenever I close Firefox and then reopen it later on it opens the last webpage I had open before closing the browser instead of my homepage. It seems that exiting Firefox doesn't fully shut it down and just puts it into hibernation mode. This has become a problem because when I have a secure webpage open when I close the web browser, without logging out of the page, and then try to go to that page again it thinks that it's already open and wont open another page for me. This means that I can't even navigate to the page to log out. I think it might be just a setting with Firefox 4 but not sure which one, any suggestions?

Animated gif not moving, image.animation_mode already set to Normal

With image.animation_mode already set to Normal, animated gif are not moving, it seems only the first frame is downloaded. I tried downloading the image, it also seems that only the first frame is downloaded. Then I disabled all extensions, the problem persists. Then I use a whole new profile, there seems to be no problem.
The question is, is there another hidden settings in firefox which cause this trouble? I do not want to start a new profile just because of this. (It also happens in Firefox version 13)

Do you see the animation if you check the image in Tools > Page Info > Media or open the image directly in a tab?
Some security software (firewall) can block animated images and send a normal image instead, so can try to check the advanced settings for Firefox in the firewall if the problem isn't in Firefox.

How to handle "/9.2.0/root.sh as root from another window" in silent instal

Hi,
I was successful to start a silent installation of Oracle9iR2 using a responsefile on my System RHEL 3. But the installation ends soon and a wrong successful install message:
Error :*** Alert: A configuration script needs to be run as root before installation can proceed. Please leave this window up, go run /opt/app/oracle/product/9.2.0/root.sh as root from another window, then come back here and click OK to continue. ***
The installation of Oracle9i Database was successful.
I use -ignorePatchConflicts for ignoring the patch conflicts. But How do I handle these issues. Where I have to run root.sh ... etc in teh Non Interactive Install.
I am scripting solution for non interactive install and manual intervention to run these root.sh shell scripts at different points of install is not a good idea as it wont help me automate the install.
Please let me know if anyone has solved this problem with -silent install.

Since I already set up an iCloud account using my school ID but need to access my home iCloud files, do I need to delete the iCloud school ID to get those home files? I believe so. If so, then can I use the same school ID and password later for iCloud or will it require that I change the password, etc.? Is there another way to get those home files without deleting the school ID?
OR, just help me figure out how to get my school PC to read Pages files. That would answer all the questions. No, I don't have technical permission or power to add programs to my PC.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.
When you do this, you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this happens, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

FaceTime asking for email address for people to call but it's already set up and won't skip, already on iPhone 4, want it on iPad

So my nan has just got an iPad for Christmas, she already has an iPhone 4 and her FaceTime account is already set up, but she would like it on her iPad as it is obviously bigger than her iPhone. However, FaceTime will not let her proceed when it asks for the email address for people to contact her on. It says that it is already in use??
We already know this but she wants to use the same account rather than create a new one just for her iPad, any help or advice would be muchh appreciated.

I am logged into the same things on both my iPhone and my MacBook Pro, except for mail. I use a gmail IMAP account and everything there already works on both machines. The iCloud account on my iPhone uses one Apple ID and the one on the Mac uses the second Apple ID.

Selecting a random frame in another scene

I have an app I'm creating with Flash CS5.5 with 42 different short stories in it. It has 2 scenes. Scene 1 is the opening and contents menu to access the stories. Scene 2 contains the 42 stories.
In scene one, I have a button that I want to be able to pick a random story so it would need to pick a random frame between 1 and 42 in scene 2. I have seen some code in here that will pick a random frame when you open the program, but I don't know how to tie it to a button or pick a random frame in another scene. Any ideas on how this is done?

I don't understand why, but it's not working properly for some reason. I have only one scene now and the 42 stories ended up being in frames 88-139. When I click the random button the first time, it seems to work ok. It sometimes works a 2nd or 3rd time, but it eventually gets to the last story and it won't do anything after that. I think it's going past the last frame of the timeline so the buttons no longer work after that.
There is a randomizing button on every frame except for frame 1.
This is the code I'm using for it with the first randomizing button located on frame 2:

Welcome to your new iPhone...but I've already set it up, now what ?

I bought my iPhone 5 two days ago and set it up, registered it and loaded some apps, set up my email accounts, etc. all from the phone. Now I went to plug it in to iTunes (11) to back it up and load some pictures, tones, etc. however as soon as I plug it in iTunes shows "Welcome to your new iPhone, would you like to set up this iPHone as a new iPhone or restore all of your information from a previous backup?". I don't want to do either. If I select "Set up as new iPhone" won't it wipe out everything I've already set up and installed ? Is there away around this ?

1. Plug your Iphone into your computers. Click ok on the message and let iTunessync
2. Once sync is complete, right click on your phone (it is on the left side of itunes)
3. Once you right click, select "reset warnings". Unplug it and replug to see if it still happens.
I found the solution above on another post forum and it worked for me, but only after I tinked with a few settings. Warning: What I descibe below may only be a solution for those of us who use the icloud backup feature.
I knew the data on my iphone 4 and on icloud was up to date so I went into the iTures preferences/devices and I deleted all of the old backups. With that I restarted iTunes and got a slightly different "Welcome to your new iphone" page. This welcome page only had a "continue" button as an option. After continuing I was given the summary page and was able to sync the phone. After syncing I "reset warnings". Ejected/unpluged then pluged back in and was back in business. No more welcome page.

Sorry you're having this problem. I think it was previously reported only by Windows XP users.
When you reinstall, were you making Firefox your default browser? Some users have reported that ''not'' making Firefox the default browser was an effective workaround.
However, you may have success with this approach, suggested by a user in another thread, which appears to more thoroughly update the Windows registry:

# Edit->Preferences
# In the Categories column click 'General'
# Near the bottom of the page click the button marked 'Select Default PDF Handler'
# In the dialog, select 'Adobe Reader XI' (or Adobe Acrobat, as the case may be) and click 'Apply'

Does that resolve the issue for you?

0. I have SOA on Unix, so I am pasting all details from unix .sh files. BUT same things should apply for .cmd files also in the windows side. So look for similar things in .cmd files.
1. Check your Classpath and specially the values for the home directories like WL_HOME etc etc. Also, if you have any spaces in the folder names sometimes that will cause the issue. Like if you install say in C:\Program Files\MySoftware\... etc, it may be an issue.
2. Usually when we start the soa server, this is the output we get:

BUNCH OF JARs3. Under your domain/bin folder, look at these files. When you start soa server, these files are called internally in this order. You can open all these files and check the contents and add your own echo commands to see exactly.

In startWeblogic I see the below command in the top section after calling setDomainEnv:

So I suspect if your WL_HOME is set properly or not.
Conclusion, from Windows ENV, see if you have any weird stuff in PATH or CLASSPATH. In past I remember one user had a Classpath running into like 2 pages due to some bad settings. Once they cleaned it, they could start the servers.

(1) You say you did the symbolic link. I will assume this is set correctly; it's very important that it is.
(2) I don't know what you mean by "Been feeding the [email protected] for several weeks now, 700 emails each day at least." After the initial training period, SpamAssassin doesn't learn from mail it has already processed correctly. At this point, you only need to teach SpamAssassin when it is wrong. [email protected] should only be getting spam that is being passed as clean. Likewise, [email protected] should only be getting legitimate mail that is being flagged as junk. You are redirecting mail to both [email protected] and [email protected] ... right? SpamAssassin needs both.
(3) Next, as I said before, you need to implement those "Frontline spam defense for Mac OS X Server." Once you have that done and issue "postfix reload" you can look at your SMTP log in Server Admin and watch as Postfix blocks one piece of junk mail after another. It's kind of cool.
(4) Add some SARE rules:
