I would repeat nothing in my code is 'null'. I can print all the values on the screen. Moreover, If i just use an older version of the jar file of the crypto library I am using, everything works fine. But as soon as I replace the CLASSPATH with the new jar file, the code throws the above mentioned exception.
I repeat, I don't make any changes in the code. But the code runs well with the older jar and doesn't with the new jar.
It has something to do with that com.trend.jscan which is not letting the methods from the new jar run.
Can anyone tell me how to avoid this and let my code run?

Hi All,
Can some please help me to get out of this HAL error .
I was facing the below error from HAL routine .
In bound routine failed at 3/12/2009. Exception raised: com.oberon.runtime.OverflowException: Type Mismatch: Overflow
Thanks in advance
Edited by: Hyp on Dec 30, 2009 3:44 PMI am not sure this will help in any way, but type mismatch and overflow mean the following:
Overflow: Too many characters. In other words the process could have expected "+" but instead was "something, something, something, dark side"
Type mismatch: seen quite often in relational databases, and VBA (also java) where you are expecting a 'number' and instead receive a 'string'. so for example it expected 123456, and received "Account 123456" or something along those lines. -
I get the below error in Develope trace and see all the process are in status :"Inprogress" from many days and the task's related to them are inactive.How can i rectify?
process()
[EXCEPTION]
com.sap.engine.interfaces.webservices.runtime.RuntimeProcessException: com.sap.engine.services.webservices.espbase.client.bindings.exceptions.TransportBindingException: Connection IO Exception. Check nested exception for details. (Invalid char #0x0 (:main:, row:328, col:0)).
at com.sap.engine.services.webservices.espbase.server.additions.StreamEngine.deserializeJEE(StreamEngine.java:386)Hi,
You get this error when null value is passed when the webservice is triggerred. Check for null values and pass any default value when triggering the webservice. This will solve. At the end of the error trace the exact cause for the exception will be mentioned.

I did a fresh install of the following on my linux machine in the mentioned order -
jrockit-jdk1.6.0_29-R28.2.2-4.1.0-linux-x64.bin -> /opt/fusion/middleware_11116/jrockit-jdk1.6.0_29
oepe-wls-indigo-installer-11.1.1.8.0.201110211138-10.3.6-linux32.bin -> /opt/fusion/middleware_11116
ofm_osb_generic_11.1.1.6.0_disk1_1of1.zip -> /opt/fusion/middleware_11116/11116
jdevstudio11116install.jar -> /opt/fusion/middleware_11116/jdeveloper
Note 3: jdeveloperstudio11116 doesn’t support wls 10.3.6. It supports only till wls 10.3.5. So, had to install jdeveloper outside of middleware home.
Now, when I'm trying to build a jar, which needs to be later deployed on an osb domain, it is failing with following error -

After searching for a while, I copied all the content from /opt/fusion/middleware_11116/Oracle_OSB1/eclipse140 to /opt/fusion/middleware_11116/oepe_11.1.1.8.0
/opt/fusion/middleware_11116/oepe_11.1.1.8.0/dropins does have a file oracle.osb.ide.link which contains
path=/opt/fusion/middleware_11116/Oracle_OSB1/eclipse140
Still I'm getting the above error. Didn't find any solution in Oracle forum or anywhere else. Anyone has a solution for this?
Thanks.Solution Summary
Add system property "com.bea.plateng.common.util.logging.useJDKlogger" set to "true" for configexport task, so that ANT target body look like:
<java \[...] jar="\[...]/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher_1.0.1.R33x_v20080118.jar">
<sysproperty key="com.bea.plateng.common.util.logging.useJDKlogger" value="true"/>
</java>
Solution Description
The problem is in OSB module "com.bea.cie.comdev", which provides custom logging abstraction classes. Class com.bea.plateng.common.util.logging.LogFactory dynamically detects log4j library. If it is found, returns Log4jLogger, otherwise Jdk14Logger. The problem is that it uses context class loader for log4j detection and current class loader for Log4jLogger instantiation. In runtime, detection finds log4j installed in plugins/ directory (version 1.2.13), but instantiation finds none.
Specified parameter disables log4j detection. -
I have an iMac as my home computer, upgraded to this about a year ago from a windows pc and love it.
However...
I have a HP Compaq laptop that i am running with Windows Vista, which I use when travelling. A while ago, I believe on an update, to either windows or itunes, it stopped running iTunes and comes up with the error : Runtime Error: R6034 - An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly.
I have a reasonable amount of tunes stored on my laptop, and am unable to ascertain as to whether this fix for allowing itunes to work again will delete my music folder and lose all the tunes i have on my laptop already?
The contents of my music folders on my laptop and iMac are not the same, as they are not synced!
Any help please on this would be appreciated!

I have an Officejet 6500.: All print jobs (except copies) come out with dark black smudged background and the text is also smudged. Any suggestions? Thx
FYI, for Black not printing on OJ 6500 ...
If the printer is out of warranty it may be worth following the suggestion in this post re. soaking the Printhead. Note it's important to switch the printer off at the Power button rather than just plugging out at the wall (as otherwise the Printhead won't get capped properly and may dry out)
Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP.

Problem Description:
When I use FB 4.7 GUI, everything works OK.
When I use FB 4.7 command line, it fails as follows:
org.osgi.framework.BundleException: Exception in com.adobe.flexbuilder.codemodel.CMCoreActivator.start() of bundle com.adobe.flexbuilder.codemodel.
As you can see from the discussions below, it happens to a few users, and for us it happens to all mobile projects ot all machines..
We still don't know what is the common denominator for the projects in which it occurs ... is it the env
Steps to Reproduce:
not easy to reproduce, but basically it works fine in FB4.7 GUI, but fails only in command line.
It happens in specific projects (for us it happened in ActionScript Mobile Project).
here is what I run:

Runtime exception: NoClassDefFoundError: com/sapportals/htmlb/Component
Hi,
I'm trying to use htmlb to have some javascript in my page:
Button myButton = (Button) view.getElement("DNMO.MainWindowView.testButton");
myButton.setJsObjectNeeded(true);
but at run time this exception is raised:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sapportals/htmlb/Component
Libraries com.sap.portal.htmlb_api.jar and htmlb.jar are in my project java build path.
Has anyone seen this problem before?
Thanks for your help,
RomainOK, so:
- In SAP NW developer studio, project properties -> Web Dynpro References -> Sharing References tab, if I add the htmlb reference there, next time I deploy my application, portalapp.xml is generated with that line:
<property name="SharingReference" value="htmlb"/>
- but I've got this warning when deploying:
Caught exception during application startup from SAP J2EE Engine's deploy service:
java.rmi.RemoteException: Error occurred while starting application arch.com/portal and wait. Reason: Clusterwide exception: server ID 27977350:com.sap.engine.services.deploy.container.DeploymentException: Clusterwide exception: Failed to prepare application XXX for startup. Reason=Clusterwide exception: Failed to start application XXX: The referenced application htmlb cannot be started. Check the causing exception for details. Hint: Is the referenced application deployed correctly on the server?
at com.sap.engine.services.webdynpro.WebDynproContainer.prepareStart(WebDynproContainer.java:1507)
- On the server, in the Visual Administrator, Services > Deploy selected in the left-hand pane, I can see sap.com/com.sapportals.htmlb.ear is deployed and started in the servlet_jsp container, but not in the webdynpro container
Is this my problem? If so, do you know how to deploy this application in the webdynpro container? I've been playing a bit with this visual admin tool but I can't find a way to do it...
Thanks

I am testing BOE 4.0 with a simple jsp based on the samples. The code is what I used to test BOE xi 3.1. But I ran into some report display inconsistencies with 3.1 so I am trying 4.0. The code below works in 3.1 But in 4.0, I get the report viewer screen coming up but get a null pointer exception coming to the screen.

Thanks
RajkumarThat's a good start; however, chrysalisits.com doesn't appear to be a correct name, so:
1. Where's that library?
2. Did you seed the random generator properly, per its JavaDoc?
3. If 2, what are lines 44 to 54 of UUIDGenerator.java?
