Exception in Metadata Services Layer.

Hi,
I am getting an exception in Metadata Services Layer when deploying the SOA Composite to SOA Server.
The error logs are detailed below:

As I was able to make out from the error that this is issue related to tablespace but the tablespace set by DBA is autoextendable with a max size of 8 GB and the table space size currently was 1 GB. Do you forsee any other problem here.
The version of SOA Suite and JDeveloper is 11.1.1.5.0

Could you please share some document or link from Oracle for this problem explanation and solution because I was unable to find this on the internet.
Also now we are facing issues with SOAINFRA Schema. Can this be even part of the earlier problem that we faced for MDS Schema.
The error are detailed below:
Caused By: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01654: unable to extend index DEV_SOAINFRA.CI_CREATION_DATE by 128 in tablespace DEV_SOAINFRA
Not fatal connection error ... not retrying: class com.collaxa.cube.engine.EngineException: Global retry rollback fault thrown.
The current JTA transaction is aborting due to an user rollback fault being thrown. The upstream component should retry in a new JTA transaction upon catching this fault.
This exception was caused by a global retry fault being thrown from downstream component. The user had directed the BPEL engine to roll back the current JTA transaction and retry within new JTA transactions for the specified number of times and retry interval.
There is no action recommended.
Any help will be appreciated.

I recently installed SP 2010 in my WIN 8.1. Installation was successful and I am able to create and modify sites etc. I am able to deploy solutions via VS2010 as well. all are working fine.

Ale Service Layer error 29

Hi All,
Plz help me in this issue, I had made the Ale connection to transfer Data, once I had done it successfully, after that I had deleted and made again, this time I am able to transfer the data, in both the clients it is showing traffic light green, however in <b>the target client after two seconds it is converted in Red</b> with "error in ALE service layer 29, unable to find recipient "MATFET", last time I had given MATMAS, since I am getting this error I had added MATFET also, still I am getting this error.
In Patner profile : Inbound client( Sender): MATMAS, SYNCH
In Patner profile : Outbound client( Reciver): SYNCH
In Patner profile : Inbound client( Reciver): MATMAS
Every thing is in green, no errors, in profiles and distribution model, everything is successfully created except this Traffic light and error in the receiving client.

Could not determine recipients for message type &
Message no. B1003
Diagnosis
An IDoc of message type MATFET was passed to the ALE layer, but the three receiver fields in the header record were not filled. In this case the ALE layer tries to determine the receivers from the entries in the distribution model. There are no entries available in the distribution model for the above message type.
Procedure
Define the receivers in your distribution model for this message type or deactivate distribution for these message types.
One more thing In BD87 if I go to sender client then there is node for sender system and in the receiving client there is node for receiving system, is this correct ? or both the systems should be reflected in both the systems?

I've been trying to create new Managed Metadata services but get this error when trying to manage them:
The Managed Metadata Service or Connection is currently not available. The Application Pool or Managed Metadata Web Service may not have been started. Please Contact your Administrator.
I've checked that the application pool that the Metadata service uses is running and that the account it's running under is in the farm administrators group. I've checked that the WCF hotfix is applied on the system by re-downloading KB971831 (I have Windows 2K8 SP2) and trying to run it again but it says it doesn't apply to my system (as I had installed it before installing SharePOint)
I'm not sure what else to do - can anyone give any pointers?

I've got the default one working again now, the new one "TM Metadata" has been added but shows the same error on the management page.

UPDATE : I've just gone back to IIS to check the pools and it looks like adding the 2nd metadata store has knocked out the app pool that the SecurityTokenService runs in.

I'm not able to access the term store. I get an below mentioned error.
"The Managed Metadata Service or Connection is currently not available. The Application Pool or Managed Metadata Web Service may not have been started. Please Contact your Administrator. "
Since this is happening on my local machine (Dev environment). I have full control on the term store and the all the site collections.
Hence, this is not a permission issue.
I have checked, the Metadata service is active on the machine. All the application pools in IIS is running.
After reading one of the recommendation on internet, I created a new Managed Metadata Service.
After which I was able access both (old and new) MMS from Central Admin only (highlight the MMS from manage service applications and click Manage ) and not from the site collection (term store management).
Now again its not working after I did an IISRESET.
The managed metadata service (Managed Metadata Service Connection) is grayed out.
ULS Error says:

I tried making all possible combination of changes to the web.config and client.config files but it does not make any difference to the environment.

User Profile Application and Managed Metadata services are missing

Running SharePoint 2013 servers on a set of 2012 R2 Servers. One of our farm administrators deleted the Secure Store service account. They recreated the Secure Store account, but after doing so, the Managed Metadata Service and User Profile Service
are now unavailable.
When going to the User Profile Page, there is an error that says "Sorry, something went wrong."
When going to the Metadata page, there is an error that says "The Managed Metadata Service or Connection is currently not available."
There is an additional error that says "The Security Token Service is not available."
How can all three services be brought back online?

Oracle ADF Business Service Layer Technologies

Hello,
We are building an online shopping mall/site that is expected to receive order volume of 50-60 thousand orders per week. So obviously, data traffic generated by the site will be pretty heavy. The technology set we are supposed to use is Jdeveloper 10g with ADF. Currently ADF business service layer offers following set of technologies. The question is which of following technologies meets these four criterias the BEST? (1) Security, 2)24x7 Reliability and Maintenace overheads (3)Speed /Performance of the server response to client requests (4) integration with Oracle database.
Please advise. Any technet/metalink oracle document that compares these various business layer technology would be great indeed.

Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) Session Beans
Since most J2EE applications require transactional services, EJB session beans are a logical choice because they offer declarative transaction control. Behind the EJB session bean facade for your business service, you use plain old Java objects (POJOs) or EJB entity beans to represent your business domain objects. JDeveloper offers integrated support for creating EJB session beans, generating initial session facade implementations, and creating either Java classes or entity beans. You can also use Oracle TopLink in JDeveloper to configure the object/relational mapping of these classes.
JavaBeans
You can easily work with any Java-based service classes as well, including the ability to leverage Oracle TopLink mapping if needed.
Web Services
When the services your application requires expose standard web services interfaces, just supply Oracle ADF with the URL to the relevant Web Services Description Language (WSDL) for the service endpoints and begin building user interfaces that interact with them and present their results.
XML
If your application needs to interact with XML or comma-separated values (CSV) data that is not exposed as a web service, this is easy to accomplish, too. Just supply the provider URL and optional parameters and you can begin to work with the data.

So the quote says "technologies Oracle recommends to J2EE developers" which is correct - if you are an experience Java EE developer the TopLink/JPA/EJB stack should be your choice however if you are coming from a 4GL/Enterprise developer background then the recommendation is here:

        Actually I am calling validate Login method of External service from the application service. When the login fails, my external service will throw user defined Exception.I want to catch the user defined Exception.
    But in the application service , validate Login method can catch only Invocation Exception and Engine Exception.
   These two exception are present in the Application service remote interface.

User Defined Exceptions in Web Service

I am trying to create complex user defined exceptions in Web services I am creating. Is there a way in JDeveloper to assist in modifying the WSDL to include all required parameters for fault handling that I can use to do this? Or do I have to write the XML manually in the WSDL file. Any recommended ways to accomplish this?

raise duplicate_loan; won't avoid the trigger to insert and commit. If you really want to avoid the insertion, use the raise_applicatrion_error() instead.
For instance : Raise_Application_Error( -20001, 'Insertion cannot be validated' );Then in your Forms module, you can catch it like this:

According to your post, my understanding is that you failed to republish the content hub.
I recommend to execute the following PowerShell command to add all permissions needed:
Initialize-SPResourceSecurity
In addition, you can create a new managed metadata service application and also a new application pool account to check whether it works.

Nokia Service Layer issue with NSU

Well i have just installed NSU and ran it for the first time and this is the error message i am getting while the splash screen is displayed.
"Nokia Service Layer Host Process has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
everytime i get this.
I've seen the topic about an "internal error" and tried the dll fix but that didn't work.
any suggestions?

turned out it was my firewall which was preventing the application to connect to the net to check for anything.
i turned off zonealarm but somehow it still locked it out so i had to keep zonealarm running and give the NSU access when it ran.
Kinda strange that zonealarm locked it when the firewall wasn't running but its fixed now.

i had exactly the same problem while updating using the latest NSU on Windows Vista with SP1.
I guess there is some compatibility problems between the latest version of NSU and Vista.
I tried with Windows XP SP2 and the latest version of NSU, i was able to update my E90 to the firmware version - 200.34.73
In case, you are using XP, I would suggest you uninstall NSU as per the FAQ in Nokia web site and reinstall the latest version.
Please let me know if this helps.

Need Answer on ALE Service Layer

In my cusomized outbound program i am using a function module MASTER_IDOC_DISTRUBUTE to generate the IDOCS. I am passing the both sender and reciever values to the function module MASTER_IDOC_DISTRUBUTE then distribution model in BD64 is not required. if we are not passing the both sernder and reciever to the MASTER_IDOC_DISTRUBUTE, the MASTER_IDOC_DISTRUBUTE will pick both the sender and reciever from the ALE Distribution model (ALE Service Layer) . What my doubt if i pass both sender and reciver need it won't execute distribution model in the BD64. In this situation If i need a filters and converstion for the recievers then i should use the diribution model. In this situaion if i pass both sender and reciever to the MASTER_IDOC_DISTRUBUTE does the ALE Service Layer ( Conversions & Filtters ) will execue?

This layer provides ALE with an interface to R/3 to originate or receive messages containing data to or from external (or other R/3) systems.
Processing in the ALE layer consists of the following steps.
Receiver determination. If the receivers are not known, they are determined from the customer distribution model. If a receiver is not found, processing ends. For each receiver identified in this step,
the following steps are executed.
1)IDoc filtering. If an IDoc filter is specified in the distribution model for a receiver, values in the filter are compared against the values in the IDoc data records. If a data record does not
meet the filter criteria, it is dropped.
2)Segment filtering. For each sender and receiver combination, a set of segments that are not required can be filtered out.
3)Field conversion. Field values in data records are converted by using the conversion rules specified for the segment. Values can be converted to global values or converted to specific values for the receiver. For example, storage location 0001 can correspond to storage location 1000 in the receiving system. The rules specified here are also available in the EIS (Executive Information System) module.
4)Version change for segments. Segments are version−controlled. A new version of a segment always contains fields from the preceding version and fields added for the new version. Thus, the segment can communicate with a back−level system by blanking out the new fields. Read
the version specified in the Seg. Release in IDoc Type field of the partner profile to determine the version of the segment to be generated.
5)Version change for IDocs. IDocs, like the segments, are also version−controlled. A new version of an IDoc always contains segments of the preceding version and segments added in the new version. Thus, the IDoc can communicate with a back−level system by deleting segments that do not exist in the version specified. The version is determined from the Basic Type field of the partner profile.
6)Communication IDocs generated. The final IDoc generated for a receiver after all the conversions and filtering operations is the communication IDoc. One master IDoc can have
multiple communication IDocs, depending on the number of receivers identified and the filter operations performed. Communication IDocs are saved in the SAP database. At this point, a tangible IDoc that can be viewed by using monitoring tools has been created in the system.
The IDoc gets a status record with a status code of 01 (IDoc Created).
7)Syntax check performed. The IDoc goes through a syntax check and data integrity validation. If errors are found, the IDoc gets a status code of 26 (Error during Syntax Check
of IDocOutbound); if no errors are found, the IDoc gets a status code of 30 (IDoc Ready for DispatchALE Service).
8)IDocs dispatched to the communication layer. In the ALE process, IDocs are dispatched using the asynchronous RFC method, which means that the sending system does not wait for data to be received or processed on the destination system. You read the setting in the Output
Mode field of the partner profile to determine the timing of the dispatch. If the mode is set to Transfer IDoc Immed., IDocs are immediately transferred to the communication layer; if not,
they are buffered until the next run of dispatch program RSEOUT00. After IDocs have been transferred to the communication layer, they get a status code of 03 (Data Passed to Port OK). This status does not necessarily mean that IDocs have been dispatched to the destination
system.
