Exception message changed

We noticed that when an EJB in WL7 throws an exception
with a message, the client sees a differente message,
enriched with the server side exception trace. So if you
client uses the message to get information from the
server, this message is useless. This behaviour was not
present in WL5.1.
Is there any way to make WL7 behave like WL5.1, not
adding any information to the exception message?
Thanks for you attention

There is no 'backwards compatibility' setting for the exceptions.
Is this causing you a problem ?yes, because we use programmaticaly the exception messages. If the messages are
different we can' use them and we have to re-implement all the exception to deal
a new field.
Is there any other solution (maybe a configuration solution)?
There is a configuration property in config.xml
'InstrumentStackTraceEnabled' (you can also find in the Weblogic console
but I don't remember exactly where) that allows you to do this:
<Server
InstrumentStackTraceEnabled="false"
ListenPort="7001"
ListenPortEnabled="true"
Name="myserver"
NativeIOEnabled="true"
ServerVersion="8.1.2.0"
StdoutSeverityLevel="16"

By default it is true (I've always wondered why since this could
potentially cause issues and we've always set it to 'false') so it's not
persisted with its default value.

I changed my apple id and everything works fine except message and facetime. I cannot reactivate imessage and facetime is using my email instead of my mobile number. How do I reactivated message and use my mobile number on both applications?

I apologize. I misread your statement.
The information that I provided about adding the phone number back to the iPad is valid and should work. Now as for the activation of messages, take a look at these support articles for starters. Hopefully, something in one of these will help.

    Hi Hooi,
I'd like to know whether you can build successfully in your local machine with MSBuild. You have to build succeed with MSBuild beore you can build with TFS Build since TFS build use MSBuild as its default compiler.
From the error message, you might build with wrong platform for your project. Please check if the build platfrom is proper. If you have customization of your build process template, it would be better to elaborate the reproduce steps and customization details.

  • Cannot edit wiki pages-- Exception message: Invalid field name

We have migrated from one Sharepoint 2010 environment to another Sharepoint 2010 environment and only wanted to preserve a few sites, mostly Enterprise Wiki Sites.
We have imported 5 total Enterprise Wiki Sites, all of which point to particular Term Sets in Managed Metadata.
2 wikis are pointed to term set A, 2 wikis are pointed to term set B and one wiki is pointed to term set C.
One of the wikis pointed to term set A is working, and one is not
The malfunctioning wiki has the following symptom:
Whenever you try to edit a page (new or existing) and save your changes, regardless of whether it is tagged, you cannot save your changes.  When you try, you get the error below.
    Error
    Failed to get value of the "Wiki Categories" column from the "Managed Metadata" field type control. See details in log. Exception message: Invalid field name. {f863c21f-5fdb-4a91-bb0c-5ae889190dd8}

    Go back to site
To me, it looks like there is an invalid URL, since it gives the URL path, and then there is a space, and then it also has a relative URL to /wiki/adminwiki/pages ...is this normal?
Any ideas on how to fix this is great.  I don't think it has anything to do with the Managed Metadata service or the Term Store since the other wiki site (pointing to the same exact Term Set) is working normally with no problems.

To solve the problem make sure that the template you are using for the current page (with errors) has the same content type as the page. In example of the Enterprise Wiki page, I forgot to set the content type to an Enterprise Wiki page on a custom page
template I just added to the Master pages.
So what I had to do is:
go to properties of the page with errors described above and set it to be
    Enterprise Wiki page
go to master pages and set the custom template to be of the same type, Enterprise Wiki page
    That solved the problem

  • MRP Type V1 - Does it create Exception Message for "Reschedule-in"?

    Hello Experts,
We are using MRP Type V1 (Which has the Manual Re-Order Planning + External Requirements). However we are facing and issue with the Rescheduling part. Scenario is as following:
    Material ROP is - 5000
Open Pur Ord is - 5000 (due in 01 June'09) based on the Std Lead time of the Material
Stok on hand is - 0
At this point a Sales Order is entered for 1000 pcs
After MRP Run, we expect an Exception Message for the Purchase Order to have "Reschedule-in". But, instead, system creates a PReq for 1000 pcs and the required date is NOT the Sales Order required Date but based on the Std Lead Time of the Material.
I have set the Material Lead time - 60 Days
I have set the Reschedule horizon - 0 Days ( I even tried with different Days but NO use)
However, when I change the MRP Type to PD, system generates a "Reschedule-in" Exception Message for the Purchase Order.
How can I get the "Reschedule-in" Exception Message for the Purchase Order with the MRP Type V1?
Thanks for your help in Advance!

    Anil,
Reorder point/External MRP performs net requirements calculation (within replenishment lead time).  If the existing firmed supply elements minus the existing requirements bring the projected stock below ROP, it will propose an order that will bring the projected stock back to reorder point.  The proposal will generally come at replenishment lead time.
In the normal business cycle, your sales order would confirm to lead time, and you now have a confirmed sales requirement at lead time, plus a new purchase req to bring the stock back to the reorder point.  The scenario you have described is working exactly as it is designed.  Consumption based MRP will not normally try to reschedule supply elements to match requirements inside of lead time.
Rescheduling horizon generally is counted from the end of lead time.  It won't help you here.
I guess if you insist on having a reschedule message, you could change your lead time to 0 days.  Not a wise move in my opinion.  You then have locked yourself in your choices of types of Sales order availability checks into one that ignores lead time.  You also have to find a way to let your buyers/planners know what the 'real' lead time is when they place their orders on the vendors.
I don't know why you are using a consumption-based planning type (reorder point).  It sounds like your business requirements are that you actually need to be using a demand-type planning method (eg, your supply elements are driven by your demand, not by a reorder point/desired stock level).  If PD works the way you want, why aren't you using it?

  • When i run report through OC4J Application i get a exception message

When i run report through OC4J Application i get a exception message saying Server returning invalid xml and the exception number is JBO -29000. The Reports Server is installed on machine having IP 10.191.99.254.
    Below is the exception message:
(oracle.jbo.JboException) JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: oracle.jbo.JboException, msg=JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: java.io.IOException, msg=Server returned HTTP response code: 500 for URL: http://10.191.99.254:8888/reports/rwservlet/showjobidnull
Anybody Please help me out with this issue.....because I am really fed up with this problem....want some urgent help.....
One possible workaround which I could make out is there needs change to be made in the .rdf files in Report Builder and then inside the User Parameters we change the Initial Value to * from % because the Reports Server encodes every value as %Initial_Value% and hence if the initial value for the parameter is % then it does not get a valid value and hence it returns as an invalid xml
But unfortunately it seems this workaround does not work. Please help as soon as possible.

    Hi,
you said that some changes were made in the .xml files but i had said that all the files present in Reports Developer or Reports Builder are .rdf files and I had made changes in the .rdf files for this articular report and then compiled it thereitself and then ran a paper layout of the report but the report did not comprise any data.
There was sufficient data also to populate the report. So this may not be a database issue. Please help if you can ASAP.

  • MRP exception message 64 and planning strategy group 52

    Hi Gurus,
I have done extensive search online in the forum to find the route cause why we are getting MRP exception message 64 for a specific material in one of our plants. This exception message does not occur for the same materials which is also produced in another plant.
I was just wondering whether the planning strategy group of 52 in MRP 3 view would have any effect on the frequent occurrence of exception message 64. I know that the 64 message occurs when the routing time is higher than the in house production time. If that's the case where to look for in routing to correct this, apart from this do we need to look at work centers and other details. I'm not a  PP person but still was curious to know see if i could take a shot at it.
Also the MRP settings that we follow in the plant where this problem does not occur is NETCH, Create PR - 2, Schedule lines - 3, create MRP list - 1, Planning mode - 3, scheduling -2
in the plant where the 64 message occurs quite often is Netch, Create PR -2, Schedule lines - 3, create MRP list - 1, planning mode - 1, Schdeduliing - 1
I was  thinking do MRP settings and planning strategy group would have any impact on why we are getting the 64 wexception message
Because of this 63 exception message, the downstream components are getting wrong signals.
    Thanks
    Ravi

    Hello Ravi
Generallt, exception message "64 - Production finish after order finish" is triggered when the order start date is in the past and system automatically changes to forward scheduling to calculate the finish date.
Note 1913017 explains how the order basic date is calculated and adjusted in case of forward scheduling, however, you are using strategy 52 and this is a very special scenario, whever VP planned orders are generated.
The VP planned orders will always be adjusted to the requirements date even if the requirements date is in the past. This is a special feature in the planning segment, since these orders are only kind of 'virtual' planned orders. These orders only have to provide the demand requirements for the components in time.
Therefore, there is a relationship between strategy 52 (VP planned order) and the exception message observed.

  • Exception message 26, (only warnning not an error mesage).

    Dear Experts
my environment is MTO, which generates a huge number of production orders daily with a big number of exception messages which some times are not enough to adopt the PP activities on the system,
in the case of  (Procurement type:X) which the planned order for a HALB or FERT, material can be produced internally or procured externally, i can partially convert a part of the total quantity into a production order or a purchase requisition  and so the remaining qty,  into any of the both procurement proposals.
now if the total quantities of the partially converted production orders and purchase requisition, is exceeding than the planned order qty, i am getting the exception message 26, (only warnning not an error mesage).
my requirement: i want the system to restrict users to covert the planned order into a production order or a purchase requisition if the total quantities of all the partially converted production orders and purchase requisitions are exceeding more than the original planned order quantity.
    Example:
planned order qty, is 10 EA, if i convert a qty, of 3 EA into a partial production order and another qty, with 4 EA into a purchase requisition,
system must restrict me to convert the remaining qty, into a production order or a purchase requisition  if i changed the qty, to a qty, exceeds more than 3 EA.
    Thanks in advance.

    Ahmed,
Exception message 26 is neither a warning nor an error.  It is an alert that a certain business condition exists (excess stock in a segment).  The general rule for exceptions is that it is up to the planner to determine the significance, and to use your company's business rules to react accordingly.
The solution to your stated requirement does not exist in standard SAP.  To me, it makes no sense to lock the system down in this way.  Message 26 can come from overconversion, but it can also come if the requirements are reduced.
If you still feel that this functionality must be implemented, I would suggest this partial solution, that uses standard functionality.  Have your planners perform only the conversions of the plndords to firmed purchase reqs, for a given time frame, all at one time, and decline to convert the remaining balances to production orders. Then, re-run MRP with delete/recreate.  This will create planned orders for exactly the balance(s) required.  Then, you could immediately use the standard mass program to convert the 'balance' Planned orders to Production orders.  The mass conversion could be the second step of an auxiliary MRP job.
If you insist that the requirements must be met using the method you indicated above, then it implies that every program that could be used to convert a PlndOrd to something else must be modified.  I don't think I would attempt this unless there were no other possibilities.

  • How to show exception messages in Terminal

    Hi all,
I use clang-3.1 in C++11 mode, with -stdlib=libc++, without any IDE, just on the command line.
My problem is: my c++ code is expected to throw exceptions (I'm testing it), but the Terminal does not print out the exception messages. Instead of my nice exception messages (which I see with clang-3.1 on linux), I have things like: "terminate called throwing an exceptionAbort trap:"
How should I act on the environment of the code to display those exception messages? I don't want to change the code.
    Many thanks,
    Best regards,
    Romain

You are posting in a user forum. Probably the vast majority of the people here don't have the foggiest idea what you are talking about. Post in the Developer forum.

  • Exception message 10 and safety stock

    Hello
When I have a ressource in the past (we have this case), and if the safety stock is not complet, the exception message is "10" (reschedulling in) without date.
Normaly the result should be exception message "15" (rescheduling out) with a date.
Why have I an exception message "10" without date ?
Is it the custo, but I found nothing ?

    Hi Christian,
I've seen this myself, and believe that it happens only if you allow start in the past and have got insufficient coverage for safety stock.
I guess it doesn't have a date because of the start in the past, which will set availability date even today. Try to change the "start in the past" indicator, and see what happens.

  • Exception Message 10 / 15 in MD04 ????

    Hi
In what cases do we get exception message 10 & 15 in MD04?
Say i have a S.O which is to be deliverd on 30.12.2008.
My planned delivery time is 90 days, purchasing processing time is 3 days and GR Processing time is also 3 days.
In addition i need to keep 10 days of opening period also (as mandatory) in Schedul Margin Key....I do forward scheduling
Now whenever i run MRP (with MRP Control parameters as "create purchase requisition in opening period"); system always gives error 10? Is it linked to this opening period?
I mean to say; is there any generalized thumb rule to understand that under what circumstances this error appear?
Please give your valuable suggestions and get rewarded.....
    Rgds

    Hi,
During MRP the system carries out Rescheduling check automatically. No Tcode is reqd.
Rescheduling check is to change the dates of already existing firmed receipts
which were not planned on the same day as the requirements day to suit the
    requirement.
For this we need to define a rescheduling horizon.
Rescheduling horizon defines the period for bringing the receipts that should be
    taken into account for rescheduling.
    There are two process
1.Reschedule in - Bringing the process forward Exception message 10
    1. Within the recheduling horizon the system checks whether after the
requirement a firmend receipts exists which can be used to cover this
    requirement.
    2. Then the system displays the message Bring the process forward and
    exception message 10
    3. The net requirement calculation uses the receipt and the system will create
new procurement proposal only if there is any shortage.
    4. For this we need to define a tolerance value for bringing the process in
    tcode OPPQ /OPPR
The system checks compares this value with the difference between order
finish date- Reqmts date.If this difference is more than the tolerance value
the system issues the message for the MRP element to bring the process
forward if the reqmts date lies before the firmed receipt element date.
    5. Same process for Postponing the process Exception message 15.
In OPPQ you have defined the tolerance value say 2.
The difference between order finish date and reqmts date is say 4 days.
Then the system compares the tolerance value(2 days) with this 4 days.
since this 4 days is greated than tolerance value the system decides that the order proposals nedd to be rescheduled.
Then system checks whether it is bring the process or postpone the process.
If the reqmts date is before the order finish date then the system issues exception message 10 Bring the process forward.
If the reqmts date is after the order finish date then the system issues exception message 15 post pone the process.

  • Reschedule Exception message in MRP

    Hi ALL.
MRP suggests rescheduling a PO to create a new one for delivery in the past. The planner clicks the Processing Indicator (Dealt With). As soon as additional orders come in and change the quantity, the "Dealt with is over-ridden" Can this be prevented? Suppress "Reschedule" exception messages?
    Please Advice,
    Jinen

    Hello
I have just created a new WIKI about the rescheduling check on MRP.

  • Exception message

    hi
I have only one planned order with Exception message 62  i.e. master data inconsistent and all other planned orders of this material are having no exception message.
I am running MRP again with planning mode = 2
but still exception message is not going.
    Amit

    Hi,
You said that for the same material , you have some other planned orders into which the routing is transferred - right?
so , pls change the order start date of this planned order with the start date of those problem free planned orders and try to schedule this planned order again. If now, this planned order gets scheduled and routing is transferred /Det sched tab is added , then we can conclude that the problem is with the validity date only.
    pls check

  • Configurable exception message

I would like to have a configurable reschedule in and reschedule out MRP exception message that only tells me to move in or move out when I am at 50% (or some other number) above or below safety stock on a code within the planning time fence on an M1 code.  Any ideas?  I have looked at using MRP group reschedule tolerance but the issue here is that it is only good for values in days - I would prefer it to be more flexible than that per code.
    Thanks,
    TammyM

    Tammy,
Safety stock concept means that system will always give rescheduling messages any time stock falls below safety stock.
If you do not want this a better way would be to use Reorder point planning with external requirements. this way you can have yr reorder point at safety stock level.
Example : Mat A has safety stock =10. Change that to RP = 10 with external requirements. that way anytime stock falls below 10 system will trigger planned orders/ PR's. Howevevr if additonal requirements come in say Sale order for 20 pc system will plan for those additional 20 pc over the 10 pc (RP).
Hope this helps. Else please come back.
    thanks,
    Ram
