Exception Structure Field not Found

Hi all!
I'm having a strange trouble with a webdynpro app.
I have a BAPI with a structure as an Input parameter, and another structure as an Output parameter, as well as the Return table.
I imported the model to my app, created the custom controller, added the fields to the view, everything seems all right, but when I deploy and run the app, I get the exception that the field Versn of the Output structure is not found:
com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.context.ContextConfigurationException: DataNodeInfo(Main.Zbapi_Wty_Codigo_Averia_Input.Output.Wa_Averia_Output): structure field Versn not found

    at com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.context.NodeInfo.init(NodeInfo.java(Compiled Code))
    ... 29 more
This is the first time it happens, I've used other BAPIs with a similar structure, but I got no errors, so I don't understand what might be wrong this time.
Has any of you have a problem like this??
Thanx.
Jesus

hii ,
Thanks for your response.
I did rebuild the project, restarted my j2ee engine, re-deployed my application but still getting the same error:

  • Field not found for column exception

    Hi,
    I have a MBO using SAP RFC so i made changes on RFC added a newfield. Then i recreated MBO but im getting ":Field not found for column " Runtime exception. Anyone has faced some problem ?
    Thanks in Advance.

    Thanks guys!
    I wasn't able to restart the relay server, because I think I have insufficient rights, but I told the admin to do so.
    My MBOs contain new attributes and when I click on "Preview" to check the connection it works fetching the data. Anyway, I will not have to time to fix this issue now. I guess restarting the relay server makes most sense to me.

  • Java.sql.SQLDataException: ORA-01878: specified field not found in datetime

    I am getting the exception mentioned in the subject field. Here is the query
    select * from tabel_abc where from_tz(cast(LAST_RECEIVED_TIME + timeout_duration/86400 as timestamp),'UTC') <systimestamp at time zone 'UTC';
    This is happening only for the during the daylight saving, because the date operation is returning the incorrect time value.
    timeout_duration holds the value in terms of number of seconds.
    Please suggest how to resolve the issue.

    When I run the following expression on this value I get the ORA-01878 error:
    (EXTRACT(DAY FROM ((ETD_ZULU - 4/24) - SYSTIMESTAMP)))
    >
    That isn't the same as the snippet you first posted
    This works
    select EXTRACT(DAY FROM ((ETD_ZULU - 4/24) - SYSTIMESTAMP)) from
    (select cast (systimestamp as timestamp(6)) etd_zulu from dual)The first snippet you posted was
    >
    select * from tabel_abc where from_tz(cast(LAST_RECEIVED_TIME + timeout_duration/86400 as timestamp),'UTC') <systimestamp at time zone 'UTC';
    >
    And it includes time zone. All of the web references I have found indicate the problem is either a missing timezone or a timezone mismatch.
    I can't reproduce the problem with the last snippet you used. Are you certain that ETD_ZULE is timestamp and does not include timezone?
    Do you have a complete query that fails? If so, try to narrow the query down to one record that is causing the problem. If you have to you can use brute force approach. Assume that 60 records should be produced. Add
    WHERE ROWNUM < 30to the query. If it runs clean the problem is in the second half so use '< 40', and keep testing until you know which record. Then examine the contents of the field for that record.
    Without some code to try to reproduce the problem there isn't much other help to offer.

  • ORA-01878: specified field not found in datetime or interval

    I have TIME_SOLD field which is a date data type. WHen I run a simple query against this table with the where clause below, I get ORA-01878: specified field not found in datetime or interval. Please help?
    and to_char(from_tz(cast(time_sold as timestamp), 'Australia/Sydney') at time zone 'US/Pacific', 'yyyymmdd') >= '20091001'
    and to_char(from_tz(cast(time_sold as timestamp), 'Australia/Sydney') at time zone 'US/Pacific', 'yyyymmdd') < '20091101'

    just to give an exampe I've created a table called your_table with a date field (time_sold).
    I've inserted 100 random values plus this one: 20090329 02:30:00 (read it using the format yyyymmdd hh24:mi:ss).
    It's a non valid time in Rome because on March 29 we went to the DST so time skipped from 02.00 to 03.00.
    Here's my script's result:
    SQL> declare
      2    x varchar2(100);
      3    cursor c is
      4      select time_sold from your_table;
      5  begin
      6    for r in c loop
      7      begin
      8       x:= to_char(from_tz(cast(r.time_sold as timestamp), 'Europe/Rome') at time zone 'US/Pacific', 'yyyym
    mdd');
      9      exception
    10        when others then
    11           DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE(SQLCODE||' '||to_char(r.time_sold,'yyyymmdd hh24:mi:ss'));
    12      end;
    13    end loop;

  • Call SAP function from VB - Structure member not found " unknown "

    Hello,
    (I don't know if this is the appropriate forum, but I didn't find any which seem to match my topic ...)
    I use the following VB code to call the SAP function ARCHIV_PROCESS_RFCINPUT:
        Dim bapiControl As SAPBAPIControl
        Dim logonControl As SAPLogonControl
        Dim functions As SAPFunctions
        Set bapiControl = New SAPBAPIControl
        Set logonControl = New SAPLogonControl
        Set functions = New SAPFunctions
        Set bapiControl.Connection = logonControl.NewConnection
        ' do login
        Set functions.Connection = bapiControl.Connection
        Dim myFunction As SAPFunctionsOCX.Function
        Set myFunction = functions.Add("ARCHIV_PROCESS_RFCINPUT")
        Dim myStructure As SAPFunctionsOCX.Structure
        Set myStructure = functions.CreateStructure("OARFCIN")
        ' the following values are just examples
        myStructure("ARCHIV_ID") = "01"
        myStructure("ARC_DOC_ID") = "1234567890123457890"
        myStructure("AR_OBJECT") = "TIF"
        myStructure("DOC_TYPE") = "FIIINVOICE"
        myStructure("BARCODE") = "1"
        myFunction.Exports("DOCUMENT_ENTRY") = myStructure
    At this point execution stops with the following error message:
    Err.Number: 1006
    Err.Description: Structure member not found "<unknown>"
    Err.Source: wdtfuncs
    What is wrong? The function ARCHIV_PROCESS_RFCINPUT needs one input parameter called "DOCUMENT_ENTRY" which is of type OARFCIN ...
    ARCHIV_CONNECTION_INSERT, which has only Strings as input parameters (no structures), works fine ...
    I tried all variations I could think of:
    myStructure.Value("ARCHIV_ID") = G_csDefaultRepository
    instead of myStructure("ARCHIV_ID") = G_csDefaultRepository
    declaring bapiControl, logonControl and functions as Object, and instanciating them with CreateObject(...)
    myFunction.Exports(0).Insert "DOCUMENT_ENTRY", myStructure
    instead of myFunction.Exports("DOCUMENT_ENTRY") = myStructure
    (which gave me a "Collection member not found" error) ...
    Nothing worked ...
    What is wrong with this code??
    Thanks for help!
    Regards
    Steffi

    Hi Ralf,
    try substituting following code:
    ' the following values are just examples
    myStructure("ARCHIV_ID") = "01"
    myStructure("ARC_DOC_ID") = "1234567890123457890"
    myStructure("AR_OBJECT") = "TIF"
    myStructure("DOC_TYPE") = "FIIINVOICE"
    myStructure("BARCODE") = "1"
    myFunction.Exports("DOCUMENT_ENTRY") = myStructure
    with that one:
    Set myStructure = myFunction.Exports("DOCUMENT_ENTRY")
    ' the following values are just examples
    myStructure.Fields("ARCHIV_ID") = "01"
    myStructure.Fields("ARC_DOC_ID") = "1234567890123457890"
    myStructure.Fields("AR_OBJECT") = "TIF"
    myStructure.Fields("DOC_TYPE") = "FIIINVOICE"
    myStructure.Fields("BARCODE") = "1"
    Let me know!
    Enjoy!!

    Although the versions 10.1.3.4 and 10.1.3.3 are close and should be able to use 10.1.3.4 JDev for most 10.1.3.3 development, the human tasks is the one exception. 10.1.3.3 had a few bugs fixed therefore the jar file used in JDev 10.1.3.4 may not be compatible with 10.1.3.3.
    I would either use JDev 10.1.3.3 or upgrade SOA Suite to 10.1.3.4
    cheers

    Digging through the classes gives me a pretty good guess that the missing resource is in "orabpel.jar" which is on the classpath and in the class exception_cube_bpeltest.java.
    "exception.20001.severity", "10"
    "exception.20001.type", "error"
    "exception.20001.name", "Assertion execution error."
    "exception.20001.description", "A problem occurred while converting the assertion value \"{0}\" to a number at activity \"{1}\"."
    "exception.20001.fix", "Please change the value to be a number or do a string comparison."
    What I'm looking for is the nicely formatted exception to come back from Oracle so that I can wrap it up in our own exception handling and deal with the situation nicely. Instead of a java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError - I think I'm supposed to be getting a proper "ORABPEL-20001" exception.
    I suspect it's got something to do with classpath. But I've checked that orabpel.jar is on the classpath.
    Please help :-)
    - Richard Perfect.

    I think it is a classloader related problem. I had the same situation when updating BPEL Tasks from a custom web application using REMOTE_CLIENT (RMI) method. I have no clue which classloader loads which class so I choosed a simple workaround: extracted the com.collaxa.cube.i18n folder and its contents from orabpel.jar into the oc4j container's applib directory. This way every classloader can find the resource files. (Do not copy the orabpel.jar into applib. It causes other classloader related dependency problems. Copy only the resource files.)

    C:\Program Files\Oracle\jre\1.3.1, please use a valid jdk or specify the locati
    on of your java compiler in server.xml using the <java-compiler .../> tag
    Thanks in advance!
    Best Regards,
    Chris CHIU

    Dear Chris,
    The answer lies in the error message you got, namely:
    please use a valid jdkAccording to your post, you don't have a JDK, you only have a JRE. The javac compiler is part of the JDK, it is not part of the JRE.
    You can download the JDK from the J2SE Download Web page. Look for the Download J2SE SDK link -- do not choose the Download J2SE JRE link!
    Good Luck,
    Avi.

    i'm using above code to update the field but its throwing Command exception :field not found

    Hi Revathy,
    Possible cause here is that you are trying to put value into the main table but you are using the field Id of some other table to put this value. E.g: You want to update Country field in main table but while putting the value in hashmap, you are putting the value against some Lookup Table field.
    Please check.
    Hope this helsp!!
    Cheers,
    Arafat

  • Jasper exception? Class not found? But the resources are there!

    Hi, thanks for reading. I am building a simple web application. Just servlets and jsp working together to either retrieve or add or edit or delete data in a mysql database.
    The problem i have is, some servlets compile and run fine and properly, while others return me the 'jasper error' (see below) and class not found error. The code in these servlets (those that work, and those that don't) are almost identical. I've checked them a couple of times, does not seems like there is any problem with the programming at all.
    Please advise. Thanks for reading. If there is any files that you think i should upload, please let me know. Though it says class not found, the resources are there! What could be wrong? From the advice of someone on another thread, i've looked into the web.xml. And it looks like its right.
    If anyone is willing to look into the matter for me. I'll upload all the files. (But that feels really rude to just impose on someone like that). Irregardless, thanks, really.
    And what about the Jasper Exception? I've googled that already. But nothing that i found has been useful (even the official ones from apache).

    Thanks for the reply. I'm sorry for cross-posting. The other thread is here: http://forum.java.sun.com/post!reply.jspa?messageID=9920352#
    sunish_jose suggested that:
    The servlet classes u mentioned in web.xml should be in WEB-INF/classes. U can add in many ways, you can manually copy and paste(But u have to follow the package structure) or You can mention the class folderd in your editor to
    WEB-INF/classes so that the editor will automaticall generate the class file into that folder with the folder structure. By looking at the error.txt what I can understand is Exceptions are thrown due to the above issue and more than that there are some compilation errors in support_getContact.jsp.
    And i'm looking into that right now.

  • Structure SI_BBSEG not found during upgrade from 4.6C to ECC 6.0

    Hi
    We are upgradingour SAP system from 4.6c to ECC 6.0 and we are having an issue while generating the programs, error says '.INCLUDE SI_BBSEG ' not found. It seems like structure SI_BBSEG was not created by SAP'. How would i resolve this issue? i couldnt find any OSS note on this. Please advice.
    thank you,
    - A

    Anil
    SI_BBSEG  is Include structure of BBSEG & comes already included in it as std SAP. (u can see it in SE11 >> BBSEG)
    It does not exist till you want to enhance BBSEG & add your custom fields. Normally those fields will be added to Std SAP screens as custom enhancements . You can go to SE11 & double click; it will ask  Do you want to create ?
    What is the process you are following for moving Enhancements from 4.6 to ECC6 (user Exits, screen exits) ? If this SI_BBSEG exists in old system, then there must be std screen enhanced which uses the fields of this structure. There could be some programs too which are using this structure while creating FI Documents using std BAPI. recomended that these should move to ECC6 together.
    If you have not enhanced BBSEG in 4.6 then refer note : 590977

    Hi
    Please go through the related pointers ->
    The OSS note 672960 has already indicated you need to use BADI to address it.
    For Search criteria
    You can also use user-defined fields as search criteria. To do this, you have to set fields XINPUT and XDISPLAY to 'X' in table ET_FIELDS for the fields you want to use in BADI BBP_CUF_BADI_2 in method MODIFY_SCREEN. The fields defined this way are displayed if you choose the 'Extended search' link.
