Exception while accessing web service secure through web services Manager
Hi All,
I deployed sime Hello World web service on JWSDP1.6 and secure it through web service manager(gateway) using Certificate based security.But when I try to access this web service using JWSDP client,I got the following Error while monitoring the soap messages through TCP-Monitor:

HelloClient(using JWSPD1.6)->gateway(web service manager for securing the web service using message level security through certificate )->helloservice(deployed using JWSDP1.6)
I would appreciate if someone could tell me the cause of this errror.Thanks.

When I try to hit the webservice URL directly on browser login window appears where same username/password I provide which are passed in code to invoke the web service. I get the success page indicating that web service is invoked on hitting enter.

Bypass login screen while accessing web viewable URL of secure content
As a Anonymous user, when i click any secure content web viewable URL, UCM is
prompting for credentails. Please help me How can we avoid login for anonymous
while accessing web URL's.
This is for UCM 10gr3 with Apache http server
Thanks in advanceIn a Java filter (AlterUserCredentials), we are giving UCM_LOCAL_ROLE (UCM role) to the anonymous user based on cookie value. LOCAL_ROLE has read access to LOCAL security group content. If a user is accessing URL with in corporate network, cookie value is Local else cookie value is external. This is working perfect for GET_SEARCH_RESULTS and DOC_INFO.
Whereas when we access LOCAL security group content web viewable URL’s as anonymous user, UCM is prompting for credentials (log in screen). Before reaching the filter code, UCM is prompting for credentials.
Please let us know, how to bypass this login screen for secure content web url access as a anonymous user. -

Yes you are correct, i compiled using jdk1.5.
but my servlet code will not compile in jdk1.4 version since i used advanced vaector classes in that.
Is there any settings like script file that need to be changed so that i can point to my jdk1.5 compiler rather than the default one pointed by weblogic.

"Access Violation" exception while accessing PDEImage in outside of the class as a parameter
Hi,
In our project, we are retrieving PDEImage content from PDF Page by using below line of code in our Plugin project:
But we are getting "Access Violation" exception while accessing retrieved PDEImage in outside of the class as a parameter.
This issue is happening only in Windows 8.1 and Acrobat 11 combination.
If we remove the above highlighted lines from the method then no exception and working fine.
But we don't know why these lines are added, because we are not updating any of the PDF content here.
We are planning to remove these highlighted lines from the method.
We want to know whether the removing of these lines will impact the application.
Kindly help us to resolve the issue.And will removing the lines impact the application? Certainly. If you do not call PDPageReleasePDEContent you will have a memory leak at best, or may prevent other activity from completing (such as saving or closing the file). The first two lines, however, are redundant since you do not seem to be actually changing the page.
You must call PDPageReleasePDEContent when you have finished with the content, in every case. -

it's an old post but,..you are running IBM code with the IBMJSSE2 provider and you should check IBM JSSE doc and forums :

There, you will see that IBM has a lightly different idea of JSSE and the error codes are also different.
Your error is related to handshake, and usually happens when talking with the wrong protocol version (SSLv3 or TLS with a server only talking SSLv2). IBMJSSE2 only implements SSLv3 and TLS.

Exception while testing proxy service in Oracle Service Bus

I have created a cartridge in the Financial Message Designer with a Universal External message format and a XML External message format and also included the mappings in the same cartridge.A proxy service in Oracle Service Bus10Rg3 is configured to parse and transform the messages based on the mappings using the Java Callout actions to the Financial jar API's. However, when i test the proxy service, I am getting the following exception:
Callout to java method "public static com.bea.alsb.financial.api.MessageWrapper com.bea.alsb.financial.api.TransformationAPI.transform(com.bea.alsb.financial.api.MessageWrapper,java.lang.String) throws com.bea.alsb.financial.api.TransformationException" resulted in exception: com.bea.alsb.financial.api.MessageWrapper$NullMessageDataObjectException: Null message data object in the MessageWrapper
The first java callout is to the parseText method of ParseAPI and the result i.e. the message wrapper object is saved in the variable $txtMessage.This variable is passed as input to the transform method of TransformationAPI.This is where the null pointer exception is thrown. I have added alerts after the parse method and logged the value of the variable $txtMessage. It contains the java object reference but still the Transformation API throws null pointer exception.
I have tested the same java callouts by writing a simple class calling each of these methods in the same order in Eclipse and provided the same input parameters.It works fine there.But in OSB, there seems to be some configuration issue which I am missing out on that leads to the null pointer exception.
Has someone faced this earlier? Can you please help out.Any luck finding an answer? I have the same stack trace showing up while accessing a webservice in Weblogic 10.3.5.

Are you trying to convert from within Reader or from Browser?
If from Reader then make sure you are signed in within Reader
Also try updating Reader to the latest v11.0.09 and check.

404 error while accessing sicf services via apache reverse proxy

I set up an reverse proxy with apache 2.2 and try to access SICF Services via this proxy. I got the following error message from the sap system:
Service cannot be reached
The termination occurred in system SMP with error code 404 and for the reason Not found.
The selected virtual host was 0 .
What can I do?

When I access J2EE services via the proxy it works.
Is there any configuration which have to be done in the ABAP Stack for accessing Services via the proxy server?
For tests I tried to access the simple ping service ( /default_host/sap/public/ )

I allready checked the SDN posts for the reverse proxy. Maybe I missed something.
The ProxyPreserveHost is on.
I redirect to the ICM. I only redirected to the J2EE for tests. This worked by the way withe the same conifiguration.

After you have integrated webservice , have you created the destinations in the visual admin tool .
during calling the webservice you might selected the option of using logical destinations and used the
default destinations as it is , and are these destinations configured in the visula admin .
if so please check the parameters you have provided , this would solve yourproblem
