Hi ,
I am facing an Exception error while mapping the data source in Values Fields of a Measure in Balance Scorecard.
The measure is defined using the local System.
The Excepton is :
An Exception with the type CX_SY_DYN_CALL_ILLEGAL_TYPE occured, but wasneither handeledlocally nor delcared in a RAISING clause
Can anyone slove this plz

This exception normally occurs when there is a type mismatch.
So check your mapping .

I selected Data Format as "Separated with Separated (for Example CSV),
Data Separator ,
Escape Sign ; (this i didnt understand where it comes in csv file) also I left the Hex check boxes unchecked.
PSA not Typed is also unchecked.
Am I missing something? Data types in excel spreadsheet (csv file)?

I am working on an interface which picks up file uploaded in a XI server and process it. The Function module used is a Z function module, developed locally.
I am uploading an tab limited file in XI server and a background job processes the file. The tab limited file contains Payelement Transaction ID as primary key. And after validation of elements like WBS element, cost center etc the file is posted using BAPI BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST. And all the Payelement Trans Ids are also replicated in a Z table, with there status viz. Success or Error or Warning.
After background job was completed, we found in Tcode SXMB_MONI that the file was in error.
The error message was :
Error during proxy processing An exception with the type CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB occurred, but was neither handled locally, nor declared in a RAISING clause The system tried to insert a data record, even though a data record with the same primary key already exists.
But to my dismay, I found that some of the Payelement Trans Ids were posted for a document and are also replicated in my Z table.
From the error it seems that we are inserting a record that is already there in the document. I have checked in for BAPI's input parameter, there is nothing duplicate.
Note: Insertion in Z table is made after the BAPI BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST.
Can you help me out in this issue as it is now getting into veins

Hi,
Even we have faced this kind of issue. In order to solve this just write the following code:
1) Before inserting records in to Z table, write one select query on that table with primary key fields in where clause. Pass the value that are returned by BAPI BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST to the key field.
2) If sy-subrc = 4, insert records in Z table else Continue and dont insert records in this table.
This will solve your problem.

Db Adapter: problems by calling a procedure with type as parameter

Hi,
We using a db adapter in a bpel process.
In that dapter we call a procedure with types as in and out parameter
package.procedure(p_in IN in_t, p_rsult OUT result_t).
When we calling the procedure, we don't call the procedure directly.
We call that procedure in a schema who have the execute rigths for the package and the types.
When we run the process we get the error message
unable to convert the xsd element p_in whose user defined type is in_t
cause: java.sql.SQLException: ora-01436 connect by loop in user data
I am not shore if I draw the right conclusions.
Is it rigth that bpel have a problem by using types as parameter when using two schematas? Isn't it a bug.
For every help I was thankful.

thanks for the hint. I have implemented a wrapper package and it's working well.
Only one crux. The parameter of the called procedure are data types and not simple types.

Add-on 9000035 failed with exception; Event Type: 32

In loadscreen function i have load the XML form but it shows the error like
"Add-on 9000035 failed with exception; Event Type: 32"
But i will connect to some other db means its working .
Share your ideas for what is the problem to load the screen in particular DB

Hi SDK experts,
We had a problem with occurrence intermittent, something that we identified with relation on wait of response of event.
The problem is:
My addon need to submit XML files to some webservices. In some cases this files will be send on batches, what causes the response time to events on addon is to much large.
In this cases, when the response time is much large, the B1 overthrow the addon.
In compiled mode the message is not shown. This evidence was achieved on debug time.
The error message is "Addon 90000002 failed with exception; Event type 6"
The paleative solution was implement a thread to release the event. But threads on addons can be a problem.
What the opinions?
We need a solutions. Our addon is a market product for process accounting and fiscal.

I am trying to execute a demand report,which is of normal complexity,means some selections,new formulas, 2 variables,around 10 characteristics/Key figures.
But this query thrwoing this error.and just disconnects from Bw server. with all users(means who ever access).The error is smae for all users.
Error the argumnet 10,00,000 cant be interpreted as a number
Error an exception with the type CX_SY_CONVERSYION_NO NUMBER Occurred
And starngely this query works fine in Dev/Qa.No error at all.
So i did the transport again 2 times from Qa -->Prod,but still the error remains the same in Prod.and just kicks out of system

I had a request who works fine since one year and these last two days i have a CX_SY_EXPORT_NO_SHARED_MEMORY.
I tried many things like rebuild indexes, reload stats oracle .. but these actions didn't solve my problem.
I didn't want to modify parameter via RZ11 because this request was working fine before and the system is stable (no more user or more activity than the past)
I solved the situation by a deletion of Olap cache.
So:
Try to delete the OLAP cache by the RSRCACHE and reload again yu request (but be care because yu will erased the cache for all Bex request..)

I have successfully loaded data in PSA and while creating DTP, activated extraction
and tried to execute it and found following error

I have checked the support package level which is 15 for BI 7.0 . I am quite sure that that it is
not problem due to support package.
Please suggest me how to correct this error...

While checking DTP I have found following message
The selection criteria for the DTP to be activated overlap with the selection criteria of DTP DTP_D5XAEHUGDAMPMWNH63Y1SZX6C in field , for example, with regard to value . Delta transfer from a source object to a target object is only allowed to transfer each record oncce. However, this cannot be guaranteed if two DTPs have overlapping selection criteria with the 'Delta' extraction mode.
System Response
You cannot activate the DTP with the current selection criteria.
Procedure
Restrict the selection criteria so that they do not overlap with the selection criteria for DTP DTP_D5XAEHUGDAMPMWNH63Y1SZX6C.

You need to debug your proxy program and check all the insert statemrnts. Looks like there is an exception being thrown in the proxy (may be after the completion logic to push the data in to db) which is not being caught.
Proxies are object oriented and it is a good practice to implement Exception Handling mechanism.

Back up all data.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. You can demote it back to standard status when this step has been completed.

I have two restricted key figures which are restricted on the same Zdate field. I have used different start and end dates variable. And have used different replacement path variables too.
When I run the query it is giving an error message as below:

Add-On [X] failed with exception; Event Type:16

Hi,
I'm currently trying to create a SAP B1 Add-On using C# (Framework 3.5/VS 2008). I've done several VB.Net Add-Ons in the past but this is the first one I try to create one in C#.
Using the SDK code examples, I've managed to create an Add-On that correctly connects to UI and DI (I can create a sub-menu, set event filters and add some usertables and userfields). My sub-menu opens an XML based form in SAP B1. The first time I click on the sub-menu, my form is correctly shown. But immediately after, I get the following error in the message bar at the bottom :
Add-On [X] failed with exception; Event Type:16, in which [X] is a number (like 90003), incrementing each time I stop the Add-On in Visual Studio and restart it.
After this message occurs, I cannot display another instance of the window using the sub-menu. In fact, it seems that all Add-On activity (button click, event trapping) is disabled or ineffective. The Add-On still is running in the process tree, but no response. Only the "X" is working on the created form to close it.
I've run some tests on the code and I realized that this is happening on XML based forms (using the LoadBatchActions command to load the form) and the FormCreationParams class to create a simple form. If I put the form creation line code in comments, my Add-On still runs (I can trap events on the sub-menu click) ; I can click multiple times on the menu without a problem But as soon as I create a form, it stops responding.
It also seems that as soon as I click on another menu to open a system form, the same error occurs. If I comment the form creation line code, again I can click as often as I want without getting this error message
Can anyone help me on this one ? I can post some code depending of what you may need to check this.

Today, I received this error when I re-added two email accounts that are tied in to my domain. The error is: "Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'MFSQLiteException', reason: 'inserting mailbox url' abort() called terminating with uncaught exception of type NSException"
Two days ago, at my wits end with email issues, I googled how to Reset Mail.app and followed the recommendation found here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2266399?tstart=0

What should I do correct the error I'm receiving when adding my email accounts?

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Step 1
For this step, the title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
          SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
          View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
In the top right corner of the Console window, there's a search box labeled Filter. Initially the words "String Matching" are shown in that box. Enter the name of the crashed application or process. For example, if iTunes crashed, you would enter "iTunes" (without the quotes.)
Each message in the log begins with the date and time when it was entered. Select the messages from the time of the last crash, if any. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
☞ The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.
☞ Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.
Step 2
In the Console window, select
          DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION ▹ User Diagnostic Reports
(not Diagnostic and Usage Messages) from the log list on the left. There is a disclosure triangle to the left of the list item. If the triangle is pointing to the right, click it so that it points down. You'll see a list of crash reports. The name of each report starts with the name of the process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report related to the process in question. The contents of the report will appear on the right. Use copy and paste to post the entire contents—the text, not a screenshot.
I know the report is long, maybe several hundred lines. Please post all of it anyway.
If you don't see any reports listed, but you know there was a crash, you may have chosen Diagnostic and Usage Messages from the log list. Choose DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION instead.
In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report—they're very long and rarely helpful.
