We are facing a problem in lot of our queries after EHP1 SP4 upgrade.
ExceptionCondition ' Table Not Exists' raised.
If somebody has any vague idea on how to resovle this. Kindly help.

Hi Dennis,
We ran into the same error.
You need to run the program called SAP_DROP_TMPTABLES. Click on the parameters called Temporary Tables and Temporary Hierarchy.
If the query is still getting this message, then you need to regenerate the query in RSRT.

Tables not exist in BW

Hello,
Someone can help with this?, when I check the largest tables on my SAP BW, some tables have suffix with "@kj" and when I try to check it does not exist on dictionary, what can I do to delete its content or verify is not growing space on hard disc?

Looks like this is my problem and this note help to solve:
The consistency check between the database objects and dictionary objects in DB02 or DBACockpit reports tables with the following pattern in section "Unknown objects in ABAP Dictionary" (the <*> means multiple alphanumeric characters and the # is one numeric character):
/BI0/<*>@k# (e.g., /BI0/F0BE_C01@k0)
/BIC/<*>@k# (e.g., /BIC/FZSALES@k3 or /BIC/B0000200@k9)
You see large tables in DB02 with the above naming convention

Table not exist

Hello All,
Here is the weird issue I have.
Last night, for some reason, the server was forced to restart. When it came back, I opened Tabular project BIM file with my windows account(it is in local Admin Group), it complained "you cannot open the bim file because you are not the administrator
in localhost".
Then I was trying to use another account, which is local admin in windows and the admin in SSAS Tabular instance.
When I opened the SSMS to connect SSAS Tabular instance with the admin account, it was good. But when I right click on the instance level, it pops an error the table "XXX" not exists, which stops me doing anything further.
Later on, even I tried the admin account to open Tabular project, it also complains the same "you cannot open the bim file you are not the admin for localhost"
Anyone knows how to resolve this?

Hi Derek,
According to your description, the Tabular Model Services was forced to restart because of some reasons, and then you counter the error when right click on Tabular instance.
The table with name of 'XXX' doesn't exist.
An error occurred when loading the model(Micorsoft.AnalysisServices)
The error might be caused by that the data file is corrupted. You can redeploy the project to AS server with another name and check the issue is persists. However, we cannot give you the exact reason that cause this issue. You can troubleshoot
this issue by using the Windows Event logs and msmdsrv.log.
You can access Windows Event logs via "Administrative Tools" --> "Event Viewer". SSAS error messages will appear in the application log.
The msmdsrv.log file for the SSAS instance that can be found in \log folder of the instance. (C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSAS10.MSSQLSERVER\OLAP\Log)

Some tables Not existing in Siebel OLTP Database

Hi,
I have run the execution plan in DAC for Siebel Pricing analytics, But an error ocurred that two tables : S_ETL_PRD_REL & S_ETL_PRD_ATTR do not exist in the source database.
My Siebel source Db is Mssql server and Target is Oracle.
So, Can anyone help me out with this issue .
Do i need to create table manually or is there some other way out to handle this?

You need to create those tables:
c:\OracleBI\dwrep\Bin>ddlimp /u siebel /p siebel /c odbc_oltp /g sse_role /f c:\oraclebi\dwrep\ddl_oltp.ctl /l \oraclebi\dwrep\ddl_oltp.log

Tables not existing in DD03T?

Hi,
I have come across a very annoying issue yesterday and I just want to confirm whether this is still so or it's just because our system is outdated: I have a code querying several DD tables, among them DD03L (fields) and DD03T (field_texts). Now, some tables - well, I came across only one, BKPF - do exist in DD03L, so I can get a list of all the fields in BKPF - but don't exist in DD03T, so I cannot get any field_texts for the fields in BKPF there. The field_names exist in DD03T, but several times in several other tables, so I have duplicates - there are e.g. 3 different fields 'BUDAT' in 3 different tables with 3 different texts - so I cannot easily get rid of duplicates or be sure which is the correct text for the field BUDAT in table BKPF.
Is this still so with an up-to-date IDES system?

DD03L contains the list of fields of the table, DD03T only contains fields that are defined as "Predefined Type", it will not contain fields defined via "Data Element".
So depending on Component Type (DD03L-COMPTYPE)
So for "Data Element" you MUST either
- Read DD04T for data element text as ramya lakshmanan wrote, but use the data element name NOT the field name to access this table (DD03L-ROLLNAME)
- Use a FM like DDIF_FIELDINFO_GET
- Use a Class like cl_abap_structdescr=>describe_by_name( 'TABLENAME' ).
And for "Predefined Type"
- Read DD03T with both fields table AND field names (also filter with AS4LOCAL = 'A' activated)
- or use previous tools (FM/Class)
Also, if you don't use FM or Class, there can be other objects in table definition like included/appended structures.

Short dump 'Table does not exist in database'

Hello All,
When a report is executing it is going to short dump by saying 'Table does not exist in database'. As per the short dump analysis this issue is happening because of the following   Native SQL statement statement :

As per the customer this issue occurring since they migrated the SAP back-end data base from Oralce to DB6. Here I felt that ZLICENSE_R2 is not migrated from the Oracle to DB6. But as per the BASIS Team, even this table was not maintained in Oracle also. If the table was not maintained in the Oracle, this issue should have been there even before migration also.
Following is the short dump details:

    Table does not exist in database.
What happened?
    The table or view name used does not
    exist in the database.
    The error occurred in the current database connection "DEFAULT".
What can you do?
    Check the spelling of the table names in your report.
    Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
    To process the problem further, contact you SAP system
    administrator.
    Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
    at and manage termination messages, and you can also
    keep them for a long time.
Error analysis
    An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
    The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_NATIVE_SQL_ERROR', was not
     caught in
   procedure "DYN_LIC_SEL_TOT" "(FORM)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING
clause.
Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
Triggering SQL statement: "select single_plate, itm_num, ctry_code, model_lot,
lic_hold_flg, qty from ZLICENSE_R2 where itm_num = ? and model_lot = ? "
Database error code: "-204"

Transaction SE11, input ZLICENSE_R2 for table name, and display the table. Did the table display? If not, that is the main problem.
If the table displays, go to menu item Utilities -> Database Object -> Database Utility
In the resulting screen, under the "Status" fields, you should see text "Exists in the database." If you don't, then the table exists in the dictionary, but doesn't exist in the database system. Click the "Create database table" button and then you should be able to run the program.
You may need basis team's help to carryout some of these actions.

Java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist while invoking a DBAdapter

I have a WebService which is invoked , the request is routed through the mideator to the DBAdapter .DBAdapter interacts with the database and replies the result.
I send in the CreditCardNumber in the request and recieve its Status (VALID,INVALID). i get this error every time . i have tried almost every thing to fix this . Please help me with same .

a. check the JNDI Configuration. ( check for the value used for XADatasourceName )

I'm having yet another problem with OWB, this time when I try to deploy a mapping I get this error:

Where AYADEV_LOCATION points to the module/schema/location where my source data is.
Now, I have defined three modules:
SOURCE, where I defined the tables and other objects from the original database (source data)
STAGE, where I am performing all the transformations; here I defined all the maps
TARGET, this holds the dimensions and fact tables.
Now all three modules point to different databases. The dblink for AYADEV_LOCATION has been created and shouldn't present any problems. The username that I'm using to log on to the source database is current and I can connect to it through SQL+ or any other program (TOAD, SQLDeveloper).
What could be happening here? I'm using OWB 10g R2, with Oracle DB 10g R2.

I'm still having problems but I found out why these tables are returning errors. The username I've been given by the DBA to connect to the database is CONSULTA, but this user is only for querying purposes, the actual objects reside on a differente schema, of course, which is PROD. So the line:
"CONSULTA"."ESTADOS"@"PROD@AYADEV_LOCATION" "ESTADOS"
raises an exception because the table ESTADOS is not located on that schema, but on PROD. If I query the table from SQL Plus with:
SELECT *
FROM [email protected]@AYADEV_LOCATION
then there's no problem at all.
Why is this? How do I instruct OWB to point to the correct schema or to avoind fully qualifying the table name?

QM UD Error Message: Check table XEKBN: entry 45039875220001003 does not exist.

I encounter a error when I make a UD. (Please refer to below screenshot. )
Case 1: I did quantity post to unrestricted use, to scrap, to blocked stock, to new material, to reserves, return delivery. When I save this UD, there is a error message 'Check table XEKBN: entry 4503987522000100310100 does not exist.' (PS. 4503987522 is PO number, but I don't know what it is about 10031010.)
Case 2: I fill the same field like Case 1, but exclude to new material. It can be passed, no error message.
Case 3: I only fill one field [to new material. It can be passed, no error message.
Could you please give me some guidance? Thank you so much.

Form the inspection lot number range, I believe you are using GR form Purchase Order, right? Please confirm the below points -
1. Is this a normal PO or Sub-contractor's PO? Please confirm if this issue is happening for every stock posting like Unrestricted, Scrap, Blocked...? or just for one? Can you try one by one for example, move stock form QI => Unrestricted stock only (and do not combine all types together like the attached screenshot) and suggest if that is working.
2. If this is a non-valuated material you have used (NLAG) for testing? Are you trying to post materials for previous period? Storage Location SM10 is valid?
If still this issue exist, then potentially, there is some issue with valuation variant linked to valuation area, which is normally maintained in Configuration OPK9. Paralelly, you can request your ABAP team to check FM MB_UPDATE_VALUE_ENQUEUE_TABLE, Include LMBGBU04, as suggested by the below link -

LCA03 dump - table MATRIXINDEXTAB does not exist

ERROR:
During the post-installation steps of LiveCache, we experience a short-dump:
DBIF_RSQL_TABLE_KNOWN
LMMRP01U66
SAPLMMRP01
MMRP_LC_MATRIX_IND_TAB_MODIFY
Where it attempts to:
INSERT INTO matrixindextab... (the connection is LCA)
Where the table does not exist.
This is definitely the case, as when I run:
sql_execute select * from matrixindextab
From DBMCLI on the LC Server, the table is not found.
SITUATION
We have just installed SCM 7.0 SR1 and LiveCache 7.7.
There are two servers:
dpd
SCM ABAP Stack
SCM Java Stack
LiveCache Client
dcd
LiveCache Server
RESOLUTION
What can be done to resolve this?
In LC10, we have defined LCA, LDA + LEA in the interface.
LiveCache Monitoring connects successfully for all 3 of these.
We have just stopped and restarted LC, but still no luck (probably due to the fact that a simple restart wouldn't create this table).
Is there a reason why it is looking for this table MATRIXINDEXTAB?

This issue is now fixed and LC is now running successfully (the MATRIXINDEXTAB error is no longer shown).
The error was also raised on OSS, and the steps outlined below were followed. Following this, LC started successfully.

Table or view does not exist when using in PL/SQL block

I hav something strange...
When i execute a query it works just fine... When i use the exact same query in a function i want to create, i get the error 'table or view does not exist'
I create the function with the same user then when i'm executing the query.
For example:
select name,userid from portal.WWLOG_ACTIVITY_LOGS
if i execute this... it works fine. I get my results.
However when i create a function:

I tryed with cursor, select into, for x in (select....)
Nothing works.
A select grant is a select grant right? Are there different grant you should use so you can select it into a function or just do a normal select?
I also tryed to create a view that just sais select * from WWLOG_ACTIVITY_LOGS but that doesn't work...

Table or view does not exist - Data Dictionary Import Wizard(Data Modeler)

Hi All,
In Data Modeler, Data Dictionary Import Wizard, I'm able to connect to database.But while going to the second stage (Select Schema/Database), I'm getting an error "ORA-00942: table or view does not exist".
I am able to select the table with select * from all_tables and I can open many tables as well.
Could anyone tell me, whether I'm missing any privilege, that causing this error.

Can any one help me to understand the error of ORA-00942: table or view does not exist while compiling the package on Oracle 9.2.0.4.0
The below package compiled in system user and trying to query on view v$session_wait however getting below error.
