Excluding sender mail id in the mail

Hi,
I want to develop and application to send a mail. I can do it
but the problem is i want to hide or exclude from address in the
mail. I am not setting the from address then it taking the system
user name as the sender of the mail. I don't want to show anything
in the from field of the mail. how can i achieve it.

It's easy enough to build a message without a from address. The problem is that most mail servers will reject the message for transport or delivery since spammers are the only ones who try faking the address.

Can you actually see that the attachment has a .jpg extension? Some mail systems strip it off (I've seen AOL do that) which makes the attachment difficult to open.

I get an error message saying itunes could not sync mail accounts. because the mail accounts are in use by the iPhone. It asks that i close the mail accounts settings on the iPhone and sync again. Is it requesting that i delete my email accounts?

just as i've posted the same issue here hope that someone could give us a hand. I have just swtched from nokia to iPhone for my company cell and i have more than 1000 contacts... it would be murder to create those contacts one by one )))))

I deleted my old Email account because I wanted to create a new one, and I did. However, when ever I send an Email from the Mail app on my laptop it says the Email was sent from my old Email and I just can not get rid of it.

I deleted my old Email and only used my new Email to set up the Mail app on my laptop. And the old Email is completely dead, hotmail.com says the Email no longer excists when I try to sign back in to it however my Emails remain saying 'Sent from Jordan [*old Email*].

I am using a iPhone 5 but now I don't see the send button anymore in the mail application

Can any one tell me how to have the send,reply and delete buttens back on the bottom of the screen. It appears also that when I hit the change button in the list of mails, I only can put a red mark before the mail but don't have a possibility to delete the mails I marked. The only way to delete a mail is to slide gently up the mail then a button appears to delete it.

close out of the mail app, then double tap the home button find the mail app hold down and close out of it.
Then go back into the mail app and see if those features came back.
If it doesn't do the above step again and then power off your phone and then back on.

It sounds like you're looking for the button that sends emails you've written, but that haven't successfully been sent yet. The Get Mail button does this.

Choose Mail sending default account in the Mail app.

There should be a option of choosing the mail account from which i need to send the mail everytime a send the mail and it prompts. its not like that i have to choose the default mail sending account in the settings before hand and then if i need to send the mail from a different account i need to go to settings to edit it. there should be a option of choosing it everytime i send the mail in the Mail app.

HT1668 I cannot remove the draft write mail template from the mail application screen. Save draft works but cancel does not remove the draft template. I can send email using the template but it remains on screen preventing me from accessing any mail

I am not at all sure about what you are calling a draft email template. I have never seen one in the mail app and unless this is something that you created in Pages or some other word processing program I don't know what template you are describing.
Anyway, this may work. Quit the mail app and them go back and see if the draft is still on the screen.
Quit the app completely and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.

Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons

How do I remove old e-mail addresses from the Mail Memory?

I have friends who have changed the e-mail addresses, and quite some time ago also. But everytime I write their name in the address field, it still brings up the old address as an option. And if I'm not paying attention it sends to the old address.
If there a way to clear the Mail memory so that it won't use old addresses?

Mail cannot access the mail server, but other email clients do.

My web host recently had extended problems with the mail server my sites are on. Now, Mail on my iMac Intel 27 Duo says it cannot access the server. However, Thunderbird and Entourage Mac have no problem. Sending from Mac Mail seems to be Ok as well. I've checked the settings over and over. I received no system disk for this machine when I bought it. Do I need to reinstall Mail, and if so, how?
The info below from Connection Doctor shows it appears to be trying to access through Port 25 but I have Mail set for 587 as instructed by the hosting company. I have renamed private info in the text below.

Well if TB and Entourage can both send and receive but Mail can only send I can only conclude you missed something in you rechecking. Of course with you being the only one checking you are going to make the same "mistake" and never no it. So post the relevant POP server info for your ISP (edit out personal info and passwords of course):
