Error message by periodic weekly: No output from the 1 file processed

Hi there,
since four weeks, I got a problem with the maintenance script periodic weekly. Up to December 22nd, the script did, what it should do: rebuilding the database of locate and whatis, rotating log-files. Since one week later, I got the error message: No output from the 1 file processed.
Normally, I use Anacron to do the job. When I noticed the problem, I tried to start the script with Tinker Tool System getting the same result. Another try using the Terminal (sudo periodic weekly) also failed. The commands locate and whatis are working, locate.updatedb and makewhatis also. I'm running 10.4.8; in the past, I did not have such problems. Anyone with an idea or solution?

It seems, Rogers idea, PsynX respectively the deficient uninstalling by me is responsible for my problems, is correct. Should I remove the whole file weekly.local or should I only remove the content? I prefer removing the whole file, because it was created while installing PsyncX. The date of creation is the same as the date of installing the app (December 25).

Your photos should be safe as they are in the Library.
As to the download issue: contact Mac App Store support. There's a link on the right hand side of the Store Window.

Playing mp4 audio gives error message "Video can't be played because the file is corrupt"

Playing a particular mp4 audio file directly from a website link gives error message "Video can't be played because the file is corrupt". However other mp4 audio files from this same website do work correctly. What can I do to get all the the mp4 audio files to play directly from the same website? I must have the correct plugins, etc. since the other files play. This file is not playing from YouTube, is it on the website.

If you are working with a file you modified in Lightroom, you should go to the Lightroom Photo menu and choose Edit in... and the version of Photoshop you want to open it in.
There a dialog will ask if you want to transfer the LR settings you made to your photo when you open in Photoshop.

Tonight tried to open images in Photoshop CC 2014. Could not open any. Received the message "Could not complete your request because the file was not found."

Well, then you do want your layered file back and the nice thing about Macs, Time Machine does keep hourly backups on your Mac. You should be able to enter Time Machine and restore that file.
I had hoped opening your file in another app might relase it so you could open it in PS.

HT203200 I get the -50 error message with one song (track 24) from the cd "Twilight of the Gods"

I bought the cd "Twilight with the gods" with 48 tracks at iTunes (have the latest version). Track #24 gets error message -50 when downloading. All other tracks download fine. What can it be?

The iphone/ipod is NOT a storage/backup device. Not maintaining a backup copy is a big mistake.
You can transfer itunes purchases from your iphone/ipod to your computer:
Authorize your computer for all accounts and then click File>Transfer Purchases

I can't upgrade to Yosemite, keep getting an error message when I try to download from the app store. Have check reqs and have them all.

Purchased an album from iTunes store and can see it has been downloaded but is 'greyed out', and will not play or sync with iPod. When looking further I see the majority oif the album's songs have an error message 8003 alongside them. Any clues as to the problem and a solution would be appreciated

In this context, the 8003 suggests the files are damaged.
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the tracks and try redownloading fresh copies.
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

Php connection error "unable to retrieve operations or entities from the file"

The Zend Framework is installed correctly and working fine.
But it is not able to find Mail.php file or Mail class in the Main.php file (verify these, remember the names are case sensitive).
If it does not help, try reimporting the file again.
Also, can you attach the Mail.php file instead of test.php file, which is failing.
Remember that the file name has to be same as the contained class name.

Firefox will not start, the error message says it has been removed from my system - although I didn't take it off.

Firefox worked fine for me last night, today when I tried to open it the error message read that windows could not find the file and firefox was probably removed from my system, thus why it wouldn't work. I tried running the program and starting a new profile, but no firefox files seem to be left.
