Exe encounter problem with labwindows

Hi,
I also encountered a similar problem right now. I made a program using Labwindows, using another dll, and GPIB/GPIB 488.2 Library & Word2000.fp instrument files. I met two issues:
1) My exe program runs well for almost 50 hours and then was stopped with error message: "X has encountered a problem and needs to close...". In the Error signature appeared the dll that I used in my program in ModName.
2) In UI of the program, there is a button to create Report (making a graph, put a table of results into the doc file, and then insert the graph after the table). If I click that button, the same error message as above appeared. In the Error signature appeared cvirte.dll in ModName.
I captured these two errors in the attached files.
How can I identify where the bug is? and How should I do to solve this problem?

Encountering Problems with Basic Sound Tutorial

Hello everyone,
I am encountering problems with a basic sound tutorial. I am absolutely confused as to what the problem may be because the code is so simple, and is essentially copied from the textbook. I am convinced that I have done something very silly but cannot see it.
I have attempted to run this in an appletviewer, Firefox and Internet Explorer. I have attempted to launch it from both a .class file and a .jar file. I have uninstalled and offline installed the JDK and JRE and successfully tested the new installations.
The audio file I am attempting to load and play is an .AU (Sun/Next 8-bit u-law) audio file I created in Audacity. It is located in the same folder as the AudioApplet.class file.
My sound system is defintely on, since I have listened to music all day. I have attempted running the program with Media Player closed.

PS. I am sure this worked before the university forced me to update my version of Windows to SP2. Hence, the reason for reinstalling Java. Twice.

I have attempted this alternative, without success:

I have discovered a temporary solution that works in the applet viewer. The applet will load and plays the correct music perfectly. However, using this code it is not working when I try to deploy it using a web browser (MSIE and FF)!

Having worked in the applet viewer I managed to get it working in the web browser by simply packaging my SoundApplet.class and sample.au into a .jar archive.

Has anyone else encountered problems with Adobe CMM clobbering Photoshop add-in filters?

I recently tried to install Adobe CMM, as a pop-up window suggested after I installed Photoshop CS5 on a new computer, running Win7x64 Ultimate. Before trying to install CMM, my Akvis Sketch Plug-In for Photoshop worked fine. Afterwards, Akvis Sketch runs under the filters menu, but will not accept mouse clicks from my Wacom tablet. Prior to Adobe CMM, all was fine. Somehow, the frustrating attempt to use Adobe CMM broke links to Akvis Sketch.
By the way, Adobe CMM setup tried to run and vanished without a trace - no indication of success or failure. CMM doesn't show on my control panel as installed software, so I can't de-install it.
I did un-install Akvis Sketch and re-install it. No luck as a filter, nor as a stand-alone program.
Additional point of interest - a second identical software/hardware workstation continues to run Akvis Sketch just fine because we didn't try installing Adobe CMM on that machine. It certainly looks like CMM is the culprit here.
Since Akvis Sketch is broken as a stand-alone, I doubt that de-activating, uninstalling and then re-installing, re-activating Photoshop CS5 will help, but it will take a lot of time to recreate actions and re-install other add-ins, plus preferences settings.

Fact #2 - So does Amazon's Kindle for PC app, which also quit working after running the Adobe CMM setup I'd downloaded.
Suggestion - since there's a legacy for CS5 users getting the "you should download CMM" pop-up, yet no need to do this, maybe Adobe should remove the CMM download page from its website - or flag this download as unneccessary for photoshop users. All Best, Charles Pierce.

PSCS4 encountered problem with display driver message

G'day,
On first opening PS CS4 I got this message," Photoshop has encountered a problem with the display driver, and has temporarily disabled GPU enhancements. Check the video card manufacturer's website for the latest software. GPU enhancements can be enabled in the Performance panel of Preferences."
Anyone encountered this and know what it all means?
I'm running a Power Mac G5 Quad 2.5 GHz, 4.5 GB with a GeForce 7800GT. OS is 10.4.11

I am getting an error encountered problem with the display driver for my Photoshop CS5 extended

I have Windows 7 and have used CS5 extended with no problems for quite a while now.
Last week I started up CS5 and received the error:
"Photoshop has encountered a problem with the display driver and has temporarily disabled GPU enhancements. Check the video card manufacturers website for the latest software. GPU enhancements can be enabled in the Performance panel of Preferences."
"Please close program and uninstall and re-install if problem persists"
I was able to edit, however when I went to save my work it would not do so. The following error came up.
"Could not complete the command because the extension could not be loaded"
"Could not save a copy as .....because of a program error"
I checked to make sure I have the latest driver, I also uninstalled and re-installed the program and I am still getting the errors.
Can anyone help with this?

I'm trying to install PE9 using Windows XP. I get a message that the system encountered a problem with MSXML and cannot install. What do I do? (I'm technilly challenged)

It would be great if you can give us following log files in order to debug this issue.
1) Pre9.log
2) MSXML.log
Location: - Go to Start Menu -> Run-> %temp%
Also, please let us know if any other version of MSXML is installed on your system before installing Premiere Elements.

Exe encounter problem

Hi,
I get the following error when I try to run my .exe files. "some program.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." I noticed in one exe, I get this problem after I successfully ran the application, then close the application and the error message will pop up. On two other applications, this error appears when the exe just started running. If I just run the vi's of these application, I get no problem at all, but I need for the executable program to work though. Help, please!

Has anyone encountered a problem where the VIRSA_CC_ACTUSAGE table is missing some transaction activity?
We have a situation where the monthly ST03 file shows that a user executed the MI31 transaction some time back in August. However our ACTUSAGE table does not show this user performing MI31 for any day in August.
It does have records of other people using MI31 in August. It also has records of this same user performing other transactions in August. It even has records showing other transactions this same user performed in August.
This is now an issue with our external Auditors.
We are on GRC 5.3 SP 13.

VIRSA_CC_ACTUSAGE holds information on the transactions executed by users and it gets the data from STAD. Did you notice the time user has spent in the MI31 transaction code (I know even if the user hasn't spent more time, it should be recorded), but this another step to isolate the issue.Also, check SM21 logs on that specific day, and see if there are any events registered during that time related to STAD. I think it was not able to collect the data.
Also, check VIRSA_CC_ALTCDLOG. This is the Alter log table that stores information of ACTUSAGE. The purge utility will only delete the data from the ACTUSAGE, but it remains in the ALTCDLOG.
Refer to SAP Note 1512020 for additional details on the Alert files.

Ffmeg.exe stackdump problem with converting

I bought "Digital Media Converter 2.7" to convert tv recorded programs
with the extension dvr-ms.
Convertion take a very long time and after having completed the convertion
it says "ffmpeg.exe doesn't function well any more and will be closed" .
Does anyone know what this means and how to solve this problem???

ffmpeg is a video & audio codec & conversion tool used by almost all conversion software for iPod video conversion.
I don't know why this error occured, but I'm guessing it has something to do with "Digital Media Converter 2.7"'s use of ffmpeg. Check with their website & support staff for answers. You bought it, so they should support their own product.

Encountering problems with exporting complex excel sheets to SWF

Please help me with this problem:
I have a complex Excel sheet, with functions like VERT.LOOKUP, INDEX etc. This should work in Xcelsius, but I have problems when having a preview in SWF. In the Xcelsius Present 2008 drawing window, all buttons work perfectly, but when I preview it, all outcomes are gone (buttons do work).
When removing VERT.LOOKUP and table shortnames (see example) it sometimes does work. So my guess is that SWF does not support VERT.LOOKUP and/or table shortnames. Does anyone know anything about this problem and maybe can help me? I use the 30-day trial version of Xcelsius Present.
Table example:

In Excel, when you give names to this table (Insert/Name/Make --> columns & rows), you can get info out of this table with the simple function =YEAR1 PROD2. --> 20.

I downloaded and installed the 10.6.8 Combo this morning and immediately thereafter when I tried printing a document on my OfficeJet Pro 8500 from HP the system paused for two minutes and THEN printed the document. I tried printing several other documents with the same result. However, I then shut down and restarted my iMac, and when it had finished rebooting, I tried printing again and the pause in the system for printing was gone. Problem solved!

I've encountered problems with drop zones in generators from Motion 5 toFCP X 10.0.7.

The clips won't import properly and come up as stills rather than videos. In one of my generators (with three drop zones) only one will display the clip - the other two play as stills (frozen?). I've tried having the playhead parked at the start of the clip when adding them to the generator, but it produces the same results.
Any solutions?

I've had this too and the fix then was to delete my project render files (FCP that is).
