Execute C# in PowerShell: errors with " using System.XML "
Hi , I'm trying to execute C# code in Power Shell 2.0 .
My problem is for the references at the beginning of the code:
$code = @"
using System;
using System.Collections;
using System.IO;
using System.Linq;
using System.Xml;
using System.Xml.Linq;
public class Program
static void Main()
{ /* the code wich works*/
Add-Type -TypeDefinition $code -Language "CSharpVersion3"
Powershell give me an error saying that " The type or namespace Linq doesn't exist" , and the same for Xml. I have Visual studio express 2013 .
How can add or import correctly those references? or what is my error?
Hi Rebegg,
As this issue is related to Visual Studio, I suggest you create a new thread on Visual Studio forum, more experts will assist you with this issue.
Visual Studio forum:
http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/home?category=visualstudio
In addition, about this issue, you have to add your assemblies to your PowerShellsession before you can reference them to you C# Code, you can use the script like:
$Assem = (
...add referenced assemblies here...
$Source = @"
...add C# source code here...
Add-Type -ReferencedAssemblies $Assem -TypeDefinition $Source -Language CSharp
Here are some similar posts for your reference:

Are you using UME login type for your B2B Scenario?
In your B2B XCM setting have you selected UME related login type?

I get the following error message in Windows 7 "Sand Box has stopped working" when using System Exec.vi with wait until completion set to true, if I set it to false there is no error message.
Hello JJVerdi
mmm well System Exec.vi simulates a DOS command window, can you run the sandbox from the cmd window using the same commands without any errors?
you may take a look to this KB, it may be related to your issue:

Error in using System Variable
Dear all,
I want to use System Variable 225 ( VAT percent (per VAT code) ) which is used in one of document i.e. "VAT Only Invoice".
When I used it in my Invoice document the following error occurs:
Printing Error : Invalid Variable number (RPT -6300)(Field:F_XXX) Variable 'XXX'
Please help me to use this System Variable in my Invoice.
Note: I have already read "How To Use the PLD Variables File in Release 2007 A" .pdf file.
can any one tell the meaning of folowing which is in the sheet "vars utilisation" of PLD_Vars_march2007 xls file
" it means that this variable can be used only under certain repetitive area exclusive numbers (109, 126, 132, 135, 139, 148, 149, 309, 316, 427, 502, 509, 686)
Regards,
Ghazanfar
Edited by: Ghazanfar Ahmed on Jun 18, 2009 12:16 PMHi,
It is a special variable available for the VAT summary part, not to be used in the rows but in a separate repetitive area.
To display the respective VAT rates in each row, create a database field instead: Tax Definition - Rate%. It will populate the VAT percentage for you.

Compile error when using System.out
Hello,
I have a static part (declarative, comes within <%! %>) inside a jsp. When i use System.out.println inside this, it throws me error. Let me know what is the reason for the same.
Thanks, AravinthHi Aravinth.
You it self told that <%! %> is a declarative statement then how you can give a output statement.
<%! %> It includes only declarative statements.
And also System.out.println can't be used in Jsp since it is a implicit object.out is already declared is jsp as implicit object.You can use it as out.println();in <%%>.
Try to avoid scriplets in jsp.

Error:cannot use system rollback segment for non-system tablespace
Hi,
I have created a oracle database 10.2.0 on fedora 9 system. I have created a user and assigned the default tablespace SATYA and given the permissions. But when I create a table in the user I am getting the following error.
Can anyone help me in rectifying this error.
ORA-01552: cannot use system rollback segment for non-system tablespace 'SATYA'
thankyou
satyaUndo management is either AUTO or Manual, no local
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14231/undo.htm#sthref1469
Since you are using 10g, you are recommended to use Auto undo management
If you still plan to use manual undo management, make sure you have other non-system rollback segment in place. -
Detecting transform errors when using org.xml.sax.XMLFilter
I am using javax.xml.transform.sax.SAXTransformerFactory.newXMLFilter to transform xml against a pipeline of stylesheets (See function testPipelineTransform in the example below). The process works okay, excepting that I cannot figure out how to detect errors in the transformation process.
I would like to achieve the same result for the pipeline process as I would for a single transformation using javax.xml.transform.Transformer.setErrorListener. The example below demonstrates how the call to javax.xml.transform.Transformer.setErrorListener does not generate the same result when using org.xml.sax.XMLFilter as it does when using a single transformation.

Getting error with selectSingleNode in XML DOM
I have some pages that utilitize the following in XML DOM:
loadXML
selectSingleNode
getElementsByTagName
I am using JavaScript. I am getting "undefined" errors. Anyone know the proper syntax/capitalization for these methods when using Safari. I had a similiar error with IE 7.0 and posting via an xmlHTTPPost. The problem there was capitalization of one of the methods.
Thanks.

Error with Logical System - Long SID - SOLAR01
Hello,
We are using Solman Ehp1, stack 25. We have a problem in using Long SID (same SID) in Solar01
We are creating a new system in the landscape of a project. There was a copy of production system (called PCA) into a sandbox system keeping the same SID for both system PCA
We define a new product system in SMSY and we use a new long SID so that it is called PCAP. This new system recovered the logical system definition for each client which is the same for both PCA and PCAP system. Then we create RFCs for the new PCAP long id, no problem.
Finally we add the new system to the Logical Component Z_ERP with a new role 2 Sandbox system.
We went to the project SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN and assign the new system role 2 so that is available to use it in some test.
We go to transaction SOLAR01, switch to the new system role 2, and try to execute any transaction in the new server, it is saying that there is no logical system assigned to PCAP.... which is true, since the logical system is called PCAxxxxx.
Can you help us with that?
Regards
Esteban HartzsteinHello Fabricius,
What I did is add the new PCAP system to the current Logical Component with the new system role Sandbox test so that they can perfomed some tests on that role. This system is a complete copy of the original PCA system, so internally everything is PCAP, and since I cannot have same SID in SMSY, I created as PCAP. And that causes a problem with the Logical System definition.
The actual error message is
smsy_ppms_api044
This error message was reported in another post back in 2009
LIink: Error getting RFC destination for logical system SMD XXX
Any ideas?? Help required
Regards
Esteban

Analysis Service Execute DDL Task throwing error with SourceType Variable
Hi,
I have Configuring Analysis Services Execute DDL Task to use Variable and Process Data(xmla Script) like below:
When I execute this task I get the below error message:

Error with "File System" destination only in a Publication
Hello,
I am able to have individual reports run & refresh to a File System destination, but when I attempt to have the same reports, as part of a Publication, save to a File System destination, I receive this error in the log:
ERROR PublishingService:HandlerPool-32 BusinessObjects_PublicationAdminLog_Instance_15516 - Publication ID # 15516 - Distribution to destination CrystalEnterprise.DiskUnmanaged ... destination DLL disabled. [http://CrystalEnterprise.DiskUnmanaged ([1]/1])]: [ (FBE60013)
If I use Email instead of File System in this Publication, the Publication runs fine, no issues.
Thanks for any help.Let's start with proper terminology
You're not sending report to unmanaged disk, you're scheduling it there.
When you use publication - you're publising it there.
2 different worflows, that use 2 different servers. Each server has to be configured for this functionality.
It is done in CMC in servers properties.
Admin guide will give you information on what each server in BO architecture is responcible for and what are the parameters that needs to be set for various workflows. -
OVM Manager 2.2.2: server pool error with file system type
I'm just getting started with OVM. I've installed OVM on one machine and the manager on another.
I created a server pool, which seemed to work OK but shows "Error" in the table under the "Server Pools" tab in the manager interface
When I edit it I see
Error: OVM-1011 OVM Manager communication with NNN.NNN.NN.NNN for operation Pre-check cluster root for Server Pool failed: <Exception: SR '/dev/sda3' not supported: type 'ocfs2.local' not in ['nfs', 'ocfs2.cluster']>
Can anyone explain this? Does this mean I can't use a local file system in OVM 2.2.2? I understood this was the case with OVM 3, which is why I went with 2.2.2.
Thanks.Roger Ford wrote:

ERROR with Source System in BI
Hi,
I replicated the datasources from DEV to BI. They replicated just fine. I can even see it in BI. I then tried to activate the datasource (i created the datasource from a view ) but it gave me a run time error :
ASSIGN_LENGTH_0 Short dump has not been completely restored..too big.
I then tried to go into the source system and tried to activate that and it said:
Source System DEV300 is inactive
BI Unknown in system
BI IDoc type ZSBC019 is not the same as source system IDoc type
The following errors occured in the source syaytem:
Entry in inbound table not found
Entry in outbound table not found
Result of the destination check: No authorization to logon as trusted system
What could have went wrong?
ThanksDid you try activating the source system in RSA1 ..right click and choose active.
if this doesnt work then you might want to check the inbound and outbound entries in we20 transaction code for the source system. If you have authorization. Or you need to check with your BASIS to set that up for you. -
Error with Transport system not configured that may be related to CHaRM
Who has in depth knowledge on setting up SAP Solution Manager CHaRM. Had an odd problem with the transport system failing when the QA system was shut down for maintenance. Transports were not able to be created or save to. Error message was Transport System not configured. Brought up QA and re-distributed system and Transport group and transport requests started working again.
Hello,
if a system, e.g. QA system, will not be available due to a maintenance task,
we set the status of this system to "temporarily inactive" (see header data in transaction SMSY).
This status allows us, to create new transport requests in DEV-System although consolidation system QA is not available.
(Of course you have to reset the status, when QA-system ist started again.)
Hint: it is not possible to release or to import a transport request, when consolidation system is shut down.
Therefore the developer should pay attention to the messages, which raise in urgent corrections.
best regards
Horst
