How do I execute a simple assembly program using Legion simulator and view the registers?
I tracked down the problem and it is a race condition between the many processes being started up. A smaller delay should also solve the problem. Or, maybe do something else before the first 'load'. The 'load' command tries to launch systembuild and causes the race condition.

I am using a simple UCI program (tt1.c) with Xmath version 7.0.1 on Sloaris 2.8 that performs the followings:
- Start Xmath701
- Sleep 10 Seconds
- Load a sysbuild model
- Stop Xmath
I am calling the uci executable using the following command:
> /usr/local/apps/matrixx-7.0.1/bin/xmath -call tt1 &
In this way everything works fine and the following printouts from the program are produced.

All the processes (tt1, XMATH, xmath_mon, and sysbld) terminate correctly.
The problem occurs if the 10 second wait after starting xmath is omitted:
- Start Xmath701
- Load a sysbuild model
- Stop Xmath
This results to the following printouts:

Assertion failed: file "/vob1/xm/ipc/ipc.cxx", line 420 errno 0.
Note that the last line is not produced by the uci program and the tt1 did not
finish (the printout before stopping xmath "## Stopping Xmath 701" was
not produced).
A call to the unix "ps -ef" utility shows that none of the related process has been terminated:

The questions are as follows:
1- What is "Assertion failed: file "/vob1/xm/ipc/ipc.cxx", line 420 errno 0" and why is that produced?
2- Should the UCI program waits for end of sysbld initialization before issuing commands?
3- If the answer to the above question is yes, is there a way to check the termination of sysbld initialization?

You need to include the jar file that has the Day method in it inside project properties->libraries.I have not .jar file.. just some .java files under the corejava directory.... By the way , I have inserted the corejava directory to the project pressing the button Add Jar/Directory.... , but the problem insists..

Possibilities of using Labview for executable DAQ software, PIC programming, etc
We have multiply issues here. We need to create a data logging and real time viewer for a custom Dynamometer build in which we need to bring in approx 12 sensor inputs through a DAQ card and plot their performance in a software package in house. This would likely not need to be wrote as an executable but would be nice for future expansion of business model. This system would need to operated in closed loop where sensor data inputs will relate to a programmed output. In a nutshell, we want to create automatic load sweeps for engines where we need to monitor rpm and such while outputting control to a load valve.
In another application, we need to create very simple executable software systems to edit variables wrote to a PIC. I am hoping that Labview has the ability to output and program as needed as well as create the software in an executable for our customers to use with our products.
We have a good friend running LV 8 so really only plugged around with it a bit but would likely use their seat in the short term for our DAQ and programming software needs. That is of course if it can do all of that. I would also like to askhow intuitive this program is? I am rather concerned I will need another degree just to run it. Learning Catia was NOT an over night deal. I am hoping the learning curve for LV is better...asdfs,
LabVIEW is certainly capable of doing what you are trying to do -- acquiring, processing and outputting data is what LabVIEW was created for.
With regards to how easy LabVIEW is to learn it really depends on your background and knowledge. If you've never programmed before the learning curve is obviously longer since you have to not only learn the LabVIEW tool, but also how to think in computer programming terms. I would say that you can become productive with LabVIEW much faster than with other programming languages.
If you're already familiar with basic programming (things like loops, arrays and boolean logic) then LabVIEW will be much quicker to pick up.

[Standalone Program] simple I/O using hyperterminal

I am trying to create simple standalone program to get some values from keyboard via hyperterminal and let Opensparc on FPGA do the processing and then display the result back in hyperterminal. I have sunStudio compiler. However, it seems scanf is not recognized by the compiler?

Not calling the event S-O-S while executing the program using T-Code
Hi All,
I've a strange problem here in my Quality environment.
Well,
The issue is when a program is getting executed from SA38/SE38, its working perfectly as expected. Whereas while calling the same program using the T-Code attached to that then the program is not getting executed.
While looking at the code through debugger, the start of selection event is getting triggered while executing the program through SA38/SE38 where as the S-O-S event is not getting triggered if its through the T-Code. And this is happening ONLY with Quality environment.(In Dev and in Prod its working perfectly either through T-Code or thru SA38).
I tried activating all the objects again for that program(Including the T-Code) through SE80, Still no luck.
Please thow some light on it to eradicate this error in Quality Env.

please check the transaction definition and make sure you defined a [report transaction|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73/helpdata/en/43/132f9803d76f40e10000000a422035/frameset.htm]
If you noticed a difference between Quality, Dev and and Prod environment, probably the transaction definition or the program is not the same.
Check version history for all objects involved.

i knew that it is possible to execute a non sap program after adding special program each by SAP program. but, it is huge jobs.
client wants to run a non sap program wherever he is on SAP program. Is it possible ?Hi,

2. Create a PF-STATUS and assign the Function Code for the desired Function Key in the SAP program.
3. In the USER COMMAND code inside program, when the respective function code is triggered, write the below code with the path to the .NET exe file.

We have lot of proxy to file scenarios, most of them are working fine. I am having issue with 2 interfaces, when I execute sender ABAP proxy program, we are getting following errors in ECC:

I'm not able to run a simple Hello Program in java
I have just now installed jdk 1.3.1_2.
I have set the path and class path.
I'm able to compile the class without any errors but am not able to run the program.
when i say java Hello(after compiling Hello.java), i'm seeing the following error:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoclassDefFoundError:Hello

Okay.. set aside any import or package stuffs.. lets say about a simple HelloWorld program which is called Hello.class. It resides in c:\, which means the full path is c:\Hello.class.
Make sure you got one of your path as c:\jdk1.3\bin(assuming you are using jdk 1.3).
If you are in the same directory as Hello.class, which is c:\>, you can execute the class file by typing:
C:\>java Hello
If you are not in the same directory and you wishes to run the class file, example you are in directory temp now:
C:\Temp>java -cp C:\ Hello
So the cp set will be just c:\. Hope that answers your question somehow.. well... if I never intepret it wrongly.
