Exit required to "drop" two segments from an IDOC

hi,
how can we dropped some of the segments in we02 according to my condition.can somebody tell me how to find out the program
means where we can see the idoc data is populating in segments.in we02 i am finding 6 segments with E1EDP10.i want to drop two segments with some condition.what is the approach to do it??
please give some hint.
1)The DELINS idoc for JIT message (ZEOJ) and Forecast message (ZEOF) creates E1EDP10 segments for stopped line items, which is wrong. The stopped line items should be dropped by the idoc.

Please use meaningfull subject titles and consider only sending the correct segments...

1. I don't think it is directly possible,
in case of upload using GUI_UPLOAD.
(we have to design the internal table,
as per the data in the file)
2. However, we can do the reverse,
in case of download using GUI_DOWNLOAD
(If our internal table contains 5 fields,
we can output only 2,5 field for eg)
using the parameter COL_SELECT_MASK )

Node function to use for relating two idoc segments from source in mesmapp

here i have got a requirement to do a graphical mapping between Souce Idoc Structure to target file structure .
here i have got aspecific requirement from the Functional saying that they want
for a segment from source idoc with name E1EDL24-NTGEW should be mapped with shipment_detail-nett_weight
and the conditon here is There should be a corresponding entry in E1EDL24 for each E1EDL44?(other) segment type.
can nay body help me in guiding how and what node functions do i need to use here to ge the solution.

Two values from a LOV to Timecard LDT

I have a requirement to pull two values from single LOV to Timecard layout page.
e.g.: Suppose we have a LOV field 'emp_number' on layout and this field is getting value from one LOV. Query in LOV shows emp_number and emp_last_name. I want to put one more field on layout page by the name Last_Name and whenever a emp_number value is selected in LOV, corresponding emp_last_name value should be coming to Last_Name field of layout page. Can somebody please help me on how to do this?
I have tried to add one similar HXC_LAYOUT_COMPONENTS as of Emp_number LOV field to ldt file with component = 'Text_Field' but it is not working for me :(

Follow this note 307151.1, this note describes how to populate a Task Name in a different field when Task number is selected in LOV, you have a similar requirement, so you can configure the attributes as described in that note.

Missing IDOC Segment from RWB

Hi all,
I am experiencing an issue where <MESCOD> segment from ORDERS IDOC is not passed to target when sent from RWB. When sent from source system, everything processes correctly, but our test messages from RWB lose <MESCOD>IC</MESCOD> when they reach the target system.
Our interface mapping for this scenario involves both a message mapping and an ABAP mapping before it is processed to target.
Any ideas to why this issue is isolated to RWB? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Swarup,
I meant to say that we are taking a message from sxmb_moni from the source and resending in RWB to test new changes. Therefore, it's an IDOC within XML tags as XML is declared. Every field processes correctly when doing this method except MESCOD. Why would every XML node process successfully except one?
Again, when passing this IDOC from source system, everything processes correctly.

Reg: Deleting a segment of an IDoc

Hi Experts,
We have created an extension to IDoc (added a Z segment) in 4.7 ERP and transported to the ECC 6.0.
I want to delete the segment in ECC 6.0, which we extended in 4.7.
I believe one way is to delete the segment in 4.7 and export the transport from 4.7 and import into ECC 6.0
Please let me know the ways to delete the segment from the IDoc in ECC 6.0.

Thanks for the replay. I want to delete the IDoc extension (a z segment added to the basic type by using we30) in SAP ECC.
There is a option of delete in we30. Can i use the same tcode to delete the extn of IDoc? or any other ways are there to delete the ZSEGMENT added to the basic type?

I am changing ISPs and will be dropping two email addresses I use as AppleID's. Can I keep them as AppleID's and use a rescue e-mail address from a new ISP? What are the downsides if I have an iCloud address as an alias under one of those addresses?

I am about to change internet service providers and will be dropping two e-mail addresses that I use as Apple ID’s. One is used solely for iTunes and the other is used for iCloud, mail, calendars, etc. The second has two iCloud email address as aliases. I will be going to a new ISP and will establish an e-mail address from that ISP as a backup in case the iCloud addresses are not available.
It has been suggested to me that I should continue to use the e-mail addresses from the old ISP as my Apple ID’s. And that I use the e-mail address from the new ISP as a rescue e-mail address for those Apple ID’s to get any communications relating to the ID’s. That seems like a simple and straight-forward way of handling the change and would minimize the chance of complications from changing the Apple ID’s. But, are there any downsides to handling the change in this way? If so, what are they?

You can continue to use them as Apple ID's, change the rescue address (as you know)
You can use your iCloud address, but it won't be an alias, it's a full email address.

If you have the horizontal menu bar showing (File, Edit, View,...), select View, then select Show Sidebar.
If the menu bar is not showing, dorp down the menu in the very upper left corner and select show menu bar, then follow steps above.

VF02 picking segment from internal order

Hi all,
       In VF02, the segment field is picking the last three characters of Internal Order field value. For Eg:
Internal Order   :     200375000020
segment           :     020
But actually the segment number is 375 ( 3 characters from 4 th digit of internal order).
The internal order (200375000020) is already maintained in the real time business.
My requirement is The Standard Transaction VF02 should pick 3 digits from 4th character of internal order.
Can we have any exit for this kind of scenario.
Please help me to solve this issue.

How can cocoa app get attachment in Drag & Drop email(s) from Mail?

I would like to drag and drop one or more emails from Apple's Mail application to a cocoa application and have the cocoa application find the path to the attachments in those emails. If I drag & drop a message from Mail to Text Edit, it creates a link with the message subject. If I hold the pointer over the link in Text Edit, it shows the contents of the link, which has the form:
message:%[email protected]%3E
If I click that link, it opens a new Mail window with the message. None of that is the message number as shown in Mail's viewer window.
I've also looked at what Pasteboard Peeker shows given a Drag & Drop from Mail. The above link data is from the public.url pasteboard type. Some of the others look interesting, but Pasteboard Peeker truncates the data read from the pasteboard, and the pasteboard types are probably nothing that we "supposed" to have access to since they have names like "Someone's super-secret pasteboard type". Any other ideas?

That tip takes me further down the field. And, I am able to do stuff like indent and change font color of my comments which is very helpful.
However, the big disappointment is that by dragging the original message to the Draft mailbox and then back to the original one after the edits is that it removes the original sender's name and puts mine in along with changing the heading info on date and time. That is, it creates a new message, rather than allowing me to modify the original one to suit my needs.
All the same, this was a very helpful tip. Thanks again.

I have a Processing application written (by others) that uses [Andreas Schlagel's sDrop library|http://www.sojamo.de/libraries/drop/] to accept URLs dragged and dropped from the users' browsers' address bar. The application works fine for Chrome and for Firefox and for old versions of IE but not for IE 9 or IE 10. I'm investigating how to fix this.
In the sDrop library [the Java code to handle the drop|http://code.google.com/p/sojamo/source/browse/trunk/src/sojamo/drop/DropHandler.java] uses the Java class DataFlavor which in turn defines a number of flavours:

The URL format does not seem to match the DataFlavors given by the class. Is this where the two additional DataFlavors, javaJVMLocalObjectMimeType and javaRemoteObjectMimeType come into there own? Dragging an URL '''OR''' the 'favicon' does '''NOT''' work when you want to drag this to a sub 'folder' in your bookmarks. e.g. I drag an URL or favicon to Bookmarks, I have a sub-folder called 'Recipes' where I want to drop the dragged object. I position the mouse over 'Recipes' and the sub-menu appears. I move the dragged object to drop this on the recipe list in the sub-menu and the sub-menu simply disappears. What happens is that the dropped URL appears to locate it self in a random position. Easy to replicate by dragging the same URL to the BM menu and it drops wherever it feels like. FF team have clearly failed to do some basic testing on this and there are many (correction MANY) other annoying things like this that show there has been poor or insufficient testing. I have been a fan of FF for a long time and recommended it to others. Now I cannot do this with confidence and am seriously thinking of switching back to an old version. However, I might simply go to Chrome. Are you listening FF team? A simple look at the forums will show the groundswell of annoyed people. You have altered the way many things work, seemingly focusing on prettifying things rather than ensuring stability and ensuring basic features continue to work...

Each Header tag creates an IDoc of the basic type acc_documnet01.
This IDoc has a segment E1BPACCR09 which is repeated for every ocurrence of line item in the header.
Lineitems -
> E1BPACCR09.
The currency field in this segment comes from the currency field in the documnet header tag of the source xml structure.All other fields are mapped from Line items tag of XML source structure.
When i test the mapping,with the exact source structure as above,
2 IDocs are output, (for two header tags)
First IDoc -: For two line items in XML source , 2 E1BPACCR09 are created in IDoc and the currncey field is mapped correctly.
Second IDoc-: For two line items in XML source, 2 E1BPACCR09 are created in IDoc but the currncey field is not mapped at all neither does the currency fieldname appear with null value in the output IDoc.
Can someone help me with this issue?

You need to use copyValue standard function,to repeat the source side to occur as many times as receiver side.else it will populate only the first occurence not after that

Ok now I get your requirement.
you cant achieve this - how one receiver channel can put in two location if you dont have a dynamic configuration defined i.e Adapter specific attributes.
easy way - involve IR mapping
else
have a adapter module to define your dynamic configuration.

The task that you are trying to perform is not possible via Adobe Reader, You would require Adobe Acrobat to extract the pages from Multi-Page PDF and save it accordingly.

To what I know, you'd probably have to write a user exit, as well as maintain a mapping table. The fact is that segment works almost similarly to business area and hence there is not connection between the 2.
The closest I can think of is the connection between cost centre and profit centre. Cost centre contains the business area assignment and profit centre the segment assignment.
