Expiration feature of messages

Hi all!
I am trying to use expiration feature of messages on Oracle 9.2. These are my experiences:
1. When I set the expiration to 5 (should be 5 seconds), 1 (should be only 1 second) or if I set the retry parameter to 5 or just to 1, the messages are in the queue for approx. 600 seconds each in the READY state. In all this time I am able to dequeue these messages as they would be the "fresh one". After the time (600 seconds) they are moved to exception queue.
2. If I "normally" enqueue messages, they stay in the queue for the time (hard to say for how long, approx. also about 600 seconds) as PROCESSED. After this time they are moved to exception queue - Why? They are already dequeued. EXPIRATION REASON column is not set (clear). Please note that I can see an action after expiration time in AQ$..._T table, but the messages are still ready.
3. I tried to register asynchronous notifications, but no action is made when an message is enqueued into the queue.
Please note that aq_tm_ and job_queue_ parameters are set both to 2. I tried also set them to 10, the functionality has stayed the same.
I am using multiple consumer queues.
Any help/suggestions would be very appreciated.

These question look like they are very specific to OSB, rather than basic JMS -- which has no concept of message level encryption -- I suggest reposting to the OSB newsgroup instead.

I have tried to just install the new version of itunes from the apple website, it looks like it downloads but after 5 minutes at the end of the install it says 'old version of itunes cannot be uninstalled, please contact support.'?
Is there anyway I can remove the version of itunes from my computer? i dont mind if i lose the music/content I already have on my itunes. I need to do this as i have just received the iphone 4 and need to install the newest version of itunes.

Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try installing iTunes again. Does the install go through properly now?
(If you do find a clean download site for the correct version of CleanUp, please don't tell me where it is. Without wishing to sound paranoid (although I grant it does sound paranoid), there is a non-zero chance that posting links to download locations for the utility here at Discussions leads to that download location being shut down.)

5800 XM "Expired Certificate" error message

For people who own a Nokia 5800 XM, the error message of "Expired Certificate" when downloading applications onto the device will be mean you cannot load on new apps, which can be frustrating.
Firstly you should try to update the firmware on your phone by 1 of 3 ways.
Using FOTA (Firmware Over The Air). Another thread of mine will explain this in detail. You can find it here.
Downloading Nokia Software Updater(NSU) and connecting your 5800 to the computer using a data cable.
Taking the handset to a Nokia Care point if you do not want to try the above 2 options.
**NOTE: Always be sure to make a back up of your personal details that are held on the phone as updating firmware will most likely delete any data left on the phone.
If you have used FOTA or NSU to update your firmware, or there is no new update available then doing the following will work and will allow you to install new applications without the expired certificate error message.
With the phone switched on, press the power button key once.
Scroll down to and select "Remove E: Memory Card".
Select Yes to remove the memory card.
Press OK and remove memory card from phone.
Press the Dialler on the main screen.
Type *#7370#
Enter security code. Default is 12345 unless it has been changed.
The phone will reset, wait for this to complete and power back on.
Select your country and type in the correct time and date.
Wait for the phone to complete its configurations, you may receive "My Nokia" or tutorial messages.
Power off phone.
Insert the memory card.
Power on the phone.
Wait for the phone to install any pre-loaded content from the memory card
Phone is ready to install applications, without "Expired Certificate" error message.
I have done the above myself and downloaded the PDF reader from the "Download" application from within the handset and it installed with no error after these steps.

How do you turnoff the auto correct feature in messaging?

The auto correct feature in Messaging often changes what I'm typing to the wrong word. How do I turn off that feature? It is really annoying!!!

Hey Bill that is pretty annoying which is why I use Swift key as my keyboard. To turn off the feature, go to settings>language and input. To the right of "Samsung keyboard" is a gear icon. Click on that. Then click on auto replacement. Click on the on button up at the top right and it should go to off. Let me know if that works for ya.

How to diable password expire feature

Could you let me know how to disable password expire feature in apex 4.1.0.00.32. for all admin accounts(We have 40 workspaces with different adnmin accounts).
I have checked all individual admin account in each workspace, the password expire check box is un-checked, but it still expired the account. What else I can do?
home-->admininstration-->Users-->Edit User-->Expire Password unchecked

Contract Validity period expired throw error message?

Hi All,
We created the contract and its validity date expired but the system allows to create the sales order with warning message that that validity of contract expired.
We need here error message so that the system should not allow to create the sales order with reference to that contract.

You can try this.
Go to OVA2, select "A-Sales Header" and double click on Procedures. Again select "10-Inquiry/Quotation" and double click on Fields. Now tick the box "Warning" for VBAK / BNDDT

Some features in messages not working

So I cant seem to press the camera icon next to the text message in messages to send mms. Some features of the message such as mms and imessage arent working. I wanted to know if this depends on the carrier? Like AT&T and verizon?

i have the same problem. camera icon in message window is not working hence unable to send pictures via MMS. I checked with my network operator and they confirmed that I have MMS facility so really stumped. Help please!!

The search feature in messages does not seem to work with pre IOS 7 messages

After updating to IOS 7 the search feature in the Messages app does not seem to work with messages received prior to the update. Texts received since the IOS 7 update search correctly. Is this a bug or a feature of moving to iMessages rather than just receiving standard texts?

As for your problem, One of your add-ons might be the culprit too. Try running Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] with all add-ons disabled. If that solves the problem, see [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and possibly [[Troubleshooting plugins]]

New swipe photo feature in Messages produces blurry photos

On my phone 6, it seems like every time I've tried to send a photo through the new Messages swipe feature, they come out very blurry. It could be because I'm doing this with one hand and the swipe is causing the phone to jerk, but thought I'd see if anyone else was experiencing this too.
What makes this a neat feature is that I don't have to use two hands to hold still, just curious if I'm doing it wrong.

supposedly a new list for photos is to appear under my apple tv in devices. all of the previous ones are there (music, tv shows, podcasts, etc) but no photos
Devices only show in this list when they sync with itunes, streaming devices don't show in this list. But you are essentially correct we seem to be missing the option in itunes to turn on photo streaming, we are all looking, I'd wondered if it only appears during the process of registering the tv with itunes.

2 really important features Nokia Messaging needs ...

1. Meeting requests. Nokia Messaging doesn't receive or recognize (depending on the email account type) emails sent as Meeting Requests from any major email client, like Microsoft Outlook for example. The Black Berry email client is able to receive these emails and it automatically adds them to the phone's built-in calendar.
Seven, another push email client that is compatible with Nokia phones, is able to accept meeting requests and add them to the calendar, but the problem with Seven is that it doesn't provide HTML emails for FP1 phones, while Nokia Messaging does.
2. "Reply-to" address. Seven has it. Emoze has it. BB email client has it. Outlook has it. Gmail has it. Sadly, Nokia Messaging doesn't.
I really love Nokia Messaging. It's the best looking mobile email client i have ever seen in any device, and i really think that Nokia has good oportunity to rescue some customers from BB's claws.

I'll explain the 2nd feature with an example:
At work I use a POP account for emails (hosted by my company's ISP), but on my phone i use a gmail account which receives emails forwarded from the POP account.
When people send emails to my POP account, they're forwarded to the GMAIL account and then i receive them on my phone, but if i reply to the email, the recipient will receive it from my GMAIL address instead of the POP address ... and if they reply back, only my GMAIL account will receive the email. The POP account won't.
You might ask .. why i just don't setup my POP account on the phone?? Well, the ISP won't allow to send emails from IP's that aren't theirs, so the only way for me to send emails from the phone is using a GMAIL account.
The "reply-to" address just tells the recipient (who receives the email) that it has to reply to the "reply-to" address, instead of the address that sent the email. This is a very common feature on email clients.

[Feature Request] Message URLs in Threaded or Flat View

Hi.
I view topics in Thread View, but I suppose the following is applicable to Flat View as well. I would like to be able to easily copy/paste URLs for individual messages in the thread. The way I have to do it now is:
1. Copy/Paste the thread URL (i.e. http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=XXXXXX).
2. Right-Click or Ctrl-Click in the Reply link of the message and choose Copy Link (i.e. http://discussions.apple.com/post!reply.jspa?messageID=YYYYYY).
3. Type '#' after the URL in 1 above, paste the link from 2, and remove everything up to the message number (i.e. http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=XXXXXX#YYYYYY).
It would be nice to have a direct link to the message in the message itself, so that I could accomplish the same doing step 2 only.

How to disable feature for Message box occures when pagetimes out. We get message "Stay on Page" & "Leave Page". How to disable this?

I want do disable message box comes after default page times out. Such that it asks for to "stay on page " or "Leave page". i want it should be directly redirected to default setting which i have done.

If you still have an iPhone handy and have the SIM card you used for the phone, then temporarily put your SIM into the other phone and go into Settings and turn of iMessage. If not, the only alternative that I know of is the Support profile, However, you may what to search the More Like This section on the right side of the thread to see if any of the entries there have a green checkmark meaning they are answered.

Session Expired, please Login, Message

I am constantly getting this error while trying to view a html page in our application. Whenever i click on a link that directs it to a HTML page i am getting this error in the Browser window. This problem is there only in few machines. In other few machines this problem does not exists. I am able to view the HTML page without any session login Message. I am using MySQL as the database and JSP as the frontend. Does any one has a solution to this problem. Thanks in advance

Twitter and Facebook features on messages application

Can I use messages application to read and write posts and tweets directly from my playbook without the need of browser or a client .
Facebook native client is awesome, but unfortunately can't help mewith Arabic reading neither writing, it show the Arabic words inverted and disconnected.

Have you checked the notification center for making sure those apps have the banner/notification turned on?

Cannot remove daily "Featured App" messages from my inbox

I can't even begin to express how much these notifications are upsetting me. After trying to revoke every possible permission from Blackberry App World, I finally uninstalled it entirely, and I STILL get these notifications - now it just directs me to the browser instead.
What am I going to have to do to get this junk off my phone permanently?

There are many variables that could have been explored and checked, if done immediately after the conversion. Hopefully redoing things has averted problems, but something useful would be for you to report some observations. Specifically, in the Finder, open Home/Library/Mail -- this is where all mailboxes are kept. For each separate account (based upon address, normally) there is an Account folder and in the Account folder you will find an INBOX.mbox folder, Sent Messages.mbox folder, etc. I would think these would be fresh, and created anew when you set up the accounts. Nevertheless, open the INBOX.mbox folder and report the files and folders within -- do not report the individual files within the Messages folder.
Also in the Mail folder, is a folder named Mailboxes -- this is where mailboxes you create for organizing your email are stored, and where I would expect any imported mailboxes will be found. Open one of the imported xxxx.mbox folders, and report the files and folders found within it?
