EXPLAIN PLAN not showing no of records

Rows column in the TKPROF output shows zero columns. The same works fine at sqlplus level, when autotrace set to ON.

My release 10.2 database display the Explain Plan automatically.
How to make 11.1.0.6 Oracle database to display the Explain Plan automatically.What do you mean? Specifically, what commands are you executing in the 10.2 database, that displays the execution plan "automatically"?
Are you saying that if you execute the same command in 11.1.0.6, you don't get a similar result? What happens? Do you get an error?
For both the 10.2 case and the 11.1.0.6 case, post the full output of the commands you're executing, and the result you are seeing.
Then, maybe someone can help you.
When you post the output, please encapsulate it in a pair "code" tags, which is the word "code" without the quotes, surrounded by a pair of curly braces {}.

Please help me to understand below issue.
Whenever I am doing explain plan on any of the sql statements it says as explained but when retriving the explain plan output it shows same results again and again.
DB - 11gR2 Stand alone
ASM - Configured.
OS - RHEL 6.2.

Explain plan not available in dba studio

Hi, guys,
Why the explain plan not available in my dba studio with a message like this "explain plan not available for this sql statement. ora-02195: attempt to create permanent object in a temporary tablespace"
Another question: I can use "set autotrace on" to trace sql statement in sql*plus window. But the final execution plan come up without those thing like cost, cardinality but only the steps

Was this a trace started on an already running task? Was the trace stopped before the task completed? Did the trace file reach its set size limit before the task compled?
In all three cases above you would have cursors that were not closed and stats information not written to the trace file resulting in incomplete data for some SQL.

I have two fields with number of items dispayed = 15.
I have a vertical scroll bar with them. There are 34 records in the table but the scrollbar only shows 15 records.

Explain Plan not working with 919, was working with 804

Hi,
Explain Plan (F6) was working cprrectly with Raptor 804 and is not working any more on 919. This is the same query exactly (select * from mytable). The server is 9.2.0.5.0. The result with 919 is "Invalid Column Name".

Explain plan not displayed in sql trace file

Hello,
I don't understand why in sql trace file, after tkprof transformation, for several queries the explain plan is displayed and for several queries, no explain plan is displayed.
How can I have the explain plan for all queries?

Forecast Generated from Staffing Plan not showing Actuals Hrs

Hi
I am generating Project Forecast based on staffing plan , still it is not showing the Actual Hrs , though I have timecard for the project.
Following are the steps:
1. Created a Forecast Plan Type , added to Project.
2. Created a version where source was Staffing Plan and Revenue Acc Method was Work
3. Enetered the timecards of 16 Hrs for the Project for the resource (he is part of Planning Resource List added to Forecast) -> Distributed the Labor Cost
4. Enetred the Project PJR Approved Assignment with total effort of - 100 hrs
5. Ran PRC: Update Project Performance Data also for this project.
Now Generated Forecast for this Project , the Resource Assignment line is shown but with only Planned Quantity of 100 hrs and ETC = 100hrs , actuals are not shown.
Am I missing something here.

RSRV not showing number of record for the newly created cubes

In RSRV Elementary tests i execute database information for a newly created cube.It is executed fine and it is showing the no of dimensions and line item dimensions but it is not showing the diff tables E,F.... I tried refreshing the statistics of this cube in the manage and did check statistics aswell.But it is still the same.and I tried in the program SAP_INFOCUBE_DESIGNS it is showing for all the cubes except for the newly created once.
Is there any settings as such.

Use the program SAP_INFOCUBE_DESIGNS and get the cube size in bytes.
Transaction se16 -> fact table name, /bic/f[infocube name] and /bic/e[infocube name] or /bi0/f.. and /bi0/e for business content infocube, click 'number of entries' - This is for no. of records.
Transaction DB02 -> 'detail analysis' -> object name = [infocube name]

Explain plan not working

When I run the explain plan by pressing F6 or the execute explain plan button I get the message "Failed to query plan_table" "invalid column name".
However I can do a select * from plan_table
I'm using version 1.5.4 with the latest patch set.
Any ideas?

Getting an invalid column name when performing an explain plan suggests that you have an old plan table structure, compared to what SQL Developer is expecting for your DB version. This can easily happen where your DB has been upgrade without keeping the plan table up to date.
Do you get any "old plan table" messages if you execute the "select * from table(dbms_xplan.display_cursor);"?

Autotrace and explain plan just show a green dot

When I click on the AUTOTRACE and the EXPLAIN PLAN tabs in SQL Developer all I get is a green dot. I do have PLUSTRCE roll defined to my signon. I am running SQL DEVELOPER 1.5.1 on Windows XP Professional Patch 3.

You must first click Explain icon or Autotrace Icon to generate them before you can check under the tab.

Snap object to ground plane not showing in 3D menu

I seem to be missing the "Snap Object To Ground Plane" menu item in the 3D menu. This recently happened and I don't know how to get it back. Any help would be appreciated.

Actually, I never noticed that. But it's not the one I am looking for, since it's not drawing shadows on the plane.

Edirol FA-66 does not show as a recording device in SP ver. 2

I just upgraded to Final Cut Studio 2, and was very excited to try the new features of SoundTrack Pro 2. I cannot select my Edirol FA-66 in the recording tab of the preferences! It worked fine under SoundTrack Pro 1, and shows up in the Audio/Midi setup. I am also able to select it in another sound recording app: "Sound Studio 3.5.1", and it works fine.
Does anyone know what could be the problem in SP ver. 2?
Should I trash some pref. files, and if so, which ones?

This is on a 24" iMac, with 3GB of RAM

I have done all of this, and still nothing. Again, it works fine in other Audio apps, like Sound Studio 3.5, and the beta of Adobe SoundBooth. Very strange.
Can anyone else confirm this? Since another user has the same issue with his MBP, I am assuming I will on my MBP. I only have STP loaded on my 24" iMac, and bet if I try it on my MBP, that I will have the same problem.
I also don't know if going back 10.4.8 would help or not. To me, it seems like a Soundtrack Pro issue, since other Apps work fine with the FA-66
Should I report this as a bug to Apple, and if so, does someone have a link to where I should report this?

Crystal report-can not show all subreport records in main report.

I have a mian report (summary) which link to a subreport (details). when I preview that subreport, I have 100 records inside. but, when I preview with main report, only first part of records displayed (first 60 of subreport records).
I took out the link between main and subreport but the result still same.
Anyone can help? it is weird.....

I am not able to replicate the problem u r facing.I created a report with Group on country and added a subreport in the Group Footer. My subrepor has more than 270 records. I'm able to see all of them. They are spread across pages.
Please check whether records are spread across pages or the link between Main Report and Subreport is filtering out some records. Other than these two things I dont see any other reason for records being truncated.
